First look and unboxing. The Doro 7060 and 8035. #Doro7060 #Doro8035

Typically we have mid range to high end phones in here but this time around we are taking a different turn and taking a look a two phones which would be aimed at seniors or perhaps even younger kids/teens. We are going to take the Doro 7060 and the more advanced 8035 out for a test run and see what they have on offer and how they differ from the norm that we see today.

These devices offer a more simplistic approach to the modern phone and look interesting and it will be interesting to see how they perform and what in total they can offer their targeted market.

Casio announces new smartwatch with Android Wear 2.0. #CES2017 #Smartwach #Android #Casio

We still have more news from CES2017 although there’s no the same amount of smartphones as before, we knew we could find some wearable tech.

When Google announced Android Wear 2.0 we weren’t sure about which company will show out of the ordinary, but Casio made an interesting presentation by giving us the second gen of their previous rugged Smartwatch, enter the WSD-F20 or :

Pro Trek

As its predecessor, comes with MIL-STD-810G rating, which means that is capable of withstand almost anything you’re willing to do with it.

After all, is specifically made for outdoors adventurers.

The same impressive and interesting Dual-Layer Display makes a comeback with more faces to choose and an additional GPS Sensor (something we miss on the previous generation) that offer low power consumption and Offline and Colored maps to use even if you phone ran out of battery.

It will come with Casio’s apps to track and keep control on your activities, but we a new one call Location and Traveler that became available thanks to the new components.

But there’ll be more apps to expect thanks to Android Wear 2.0 (also compatible with iOS despite some limitations)

There’s only one flaw, and is that is only going to be available on April 21st and we still have no information about pricing, but we can assume it’ll be pretty close to previous offers.

What are your thoughts on the new iteration from Casio? Adding that GPS will make you decide for this model over other options out there?

Samsung realeased a Blue Coral version of their #GalaxyS7edge. #Android #GalaxyS7

Samsung lovers out there ended up with a broken hear after the Note7 fiasco. Some of them swiched to another company, others who remained with the brand and went for a Galazy S7 or S7 EDGE instead.

Well, now that everything has settled down and we all know the Note 7 is not coming back, the company decided this is a time to give a bonus to those loyal costumers letting them have that elusive and attractive Blue Coral color scheme on their phones.

There’s nothing really special about this S7 series besides the color, the same hardware we all know and love.

Great camera, performance, battery… Etc, but what brough you here wasn’t that. It was the chance of having something different than the rest.

Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen soon, The device is going to be launch in Taiwan by November 1st and in Singapore by the 5th.

There’s no news about availability regarding other countries but we can expect that to happen, especially thanks to the great demand that color had with the Note7.

In case you can’t wait for them to realased over our shores and you don’t mind importing, the price will be NT$24,900 ($790) which is, (to be honest) a bit higher considering the only change is a paint job.

But you tell us, Will you go for this phone just because a new color option? Do you still think the S7 EDGE is the phone to beat this year?

Project Skybender is Google’s new aim to #5G internet By @VicenteA_George #Google

The internet giant known as Google, develop its business through the internet therefore they are the most interested on having more people using it.

There is where this new project comes in, meet Skybender

Something that you may not know is the fact that even in 2016 only 40% of world population have internet access, reason why, enterprises like Nokia (before and now) and Google are doing their best to improve this situation.

Recently “The Guardian” found out they are testing Solar powered drones to deliver internet access all over the world is a secret project codename “Skybender”.

Building their own prototype transceivers and drones Google experiment with millimetre-wave radio transmissions, this technology can THEORETICALLY transmit up to 40 times more data than current 4G/LTE networks.

This idea was born under the same roof as Project Loon which have the same principle but with self powered balloons, thing that has cause some inconvenience as they enter restricted air zones ending in a not so nice situation.

The improve idea has also newer carriers, in this case the responsible for delivering the data will be a drone and no a common one, Meet the Solara 50, a solar powered drone that’s almost as big as a plane, literally speaking.

This will granted better data transfer rates, as the technology use at the moment has a short range compare to normal cellular signals.

The testing is being held at New Mexico’s desert in Virgin Galactic’s Gateway and we expect to have more details about this new project as well updates about Project Loon in the coming months.

What do you think of this? Are you agree on having drones flying all over? Leave your thoughts on the comment section below.

Use 1 number across all your devices with AT&T #NumberSync By @VicenteA_George #AT&T #Carrier

One usual complaint from people who own more than one mobile device is that normally they need to carry two cell phone numbers.

Something that all of us dream in the ability to have the same number across multiple device’s , why? Well, maybe we use a Samsung for work because of the OS but we prefer to shoot photos with our Lumia phones for example.

Now that could actually be possible thanks to the folks at AT&T and their new feature NumberSync a new service that aims to share ONE Phone Number and Data Plan across all your mobile devices.

Using their wireless network alongside the pre-existing methods for sharing data plans across devices, AT&T will enable you “basic phone” functions to all your other accessories like tablets or 2-in-1‘s

And it doesn’t need to be connected through Bluetooth or anything you don’t even need to carry your phone, (it doesn’t even have to be turned on!!)

This feature is not manufacturer nor OS restricted they only need to “enable” this ability on the devices in order to work.

Something that happens a lot is forgetting our phones everywhere, now imagine you’re running out of home with your bag and in the middle of the road realize you left your phone out and you need to do and important call, this feature will let you use your tablet (assuming you have one on your bag) to make the call and even send and received messages. Cool isn’t it?

In case you’re wondering about prices, NumberSync will be completely free (the feature, you’ll need to pay you mobile plan).

According to AT&T the first compatible device will be available “Soon” with more coming over the holidays season. They plan to make this feature “the norm” to future connected devices.

What do you think of this? Do you like the idea of using your same phone number on all your gadgets?

Let us know in the comments section below.
