UNBOXING THE KONFTEL C2070

Setup:

The setup is easy, follow the quick guide instructions as given or connect the wires as shown visibly on the Konftel OCC Hub, one connected, connect the Yellow USB direct to a Laptop, On windows 10 and above the drivers are downloaded within a minute or 2 and ready to use the kit.  As with all connections when using various conference software, Teams, Zoom, and video meet initial set up is important to ensure the correct speaker, and the camera is connected as the default. Again if using e.g. Google meet the mute button does not change the icon on the screen. The Camera can be configured via the 8x digital zoom to ensure the whole room is captured or specific teams as required. The remote ( supplied with batteries ) works instantly for slow or fast zoom.

Konftel 70 Layout

Once set up the colour options are great to see when the volume is increased or decreased or red to view on mute on a call. The Konftel OCC Hub has a spare HDMI socket to allow the use of a dual monitor which is great as an extra within the hub.

Demo recording:

We have tried this with our colleagues for a podcast using the  Konftel 70  (recording after  1 minute into this podcast ) situated on the desk to give an idea of the audio mic picking up the conversation to an iPad recording.  Red Rhino Radio #Episode three with Actor, professional body piercer and Martial artist Baz Black

Overall:

This is great to have all the kit supplied by one manufacturer to ensure no compatibility issues are observed, all the kit is connected via one hub. The kit came with all the required accessories, cables, remote, battery to ensure easy setup.  Konftel experience from 1988 knows the disappointment of setting up a kit only to find additional cables or accessories are required, 5 minutes before an important conference call.  Konftel got the complete kit spot on.

The speaker is large and has an excellent audio mic quality throughout the room, this has superseded many other units in terms of blocking out unwanted audio distortion with the typical keypad typing minimised on tests. The speaker has its internal battery to allow direct connection to e.g. a phone /laptop via Bluetooth to ensure ease of use when setting up quickly as required no cables. This in theory can be used as a speaker for your music albeit a bit of an overkill for this use.

Overall for ease of setup, quality audio and the zoom option of the camera, with the multipurpose option of the speaker as part of the kit or stand-alone kit, this is a remarkable option for any conference room or makeshift conference call.

Tech Review – Poly Sync 20 conference speaker

The Poly Sync 20 is slim and portable, IP64 dust and water resistant, conference speaker  with up to 20 hours of battery life  This has clear buttons on the outside and a  programmable button which can be set to a favorite function. The box is bland in terms of the brown basics with limited information on the packaging.

Battery:

  • Battery Type: Lithium-ion
  • Battery Capacity: 3200 mAH
  • Talk time: up to 20 hours
  • Charge Time: 4 hours

Controls and lights

Setup:

The setup can be used similar to a swiss army knife with  multiple options.  This can be used as 3 options of bluetooth , dongle, or cable connection. The setup is made easier as included with a non removable  USB cable to be plugged into a USB charger to charge or connect as required. Alternative used via bluetooth to a phone or Laptop. Or via the supplied usb dongle. Each option connection to a phone or windows laptop seamlessly worked as expected.  The setup works with voice control for Siri, Google Assistant, Cortana Press

Compatibility

Slight niggle:

The kit comes with a USB dongle with a pouch inside the carry case, the dongle could fall out over time and would prefer to see a zip / fastener to prevent the loss on the USB dongle.

Audio:

When used as a Loudspeaker, for your day to day music  the  frequency  response of the Poly Sync 20 is  80 Hz to 20 kHz, the low end on the frequency spectrum between 20Hz to 80Hz is ideal for music  but lacking  on this  unit .

To give a comparison Amazon Alexa has  a frequency range of 30Hz to 24kHz while it does not have the features on this  multi unit kit . Overall the lower frequency is only observed by an avid music fan, but not pronounced on its primary use of a conference speaker / mic kit .

Overall

The unit is a multipurpose speaker, conference unit which as expected from the Poly brand ( Previously Plantronics) has great audio and ease of use in connection. This unit came with minimum fuss in terms of accessories , carry case, USB dongle , carry strap with a hardwired USB cable resulting in a universal kit option for hybrid use in any environment . The features in terms of MS teams approved, various  colours, red on mute , green in use or light bar to view the volume level is practical in any meeting. The kit has been used in noisy environments with industrial machinery in the background and again the background was suppressed ensuring the conversations and accents were heard no matter where sitting in the room. The portable option to fit into a Laptop bag and carrier around gave  additional convenience in the use of this speaker. This is a kit which is highly recommended in terms of ease of use,  portability , multipurpose options , from a known quality brand, hard to fault this kit.

Tech Review – Jabra Evolve 2 75

The Jabra Evolve 2 75 came in the Jabra typical box with the usual colours and clearly defined the features on these earphones visible on the box, The Box came as 100% recyclable and sustainable ink.   The On-ear headband comes in ultra soft foam covered in colour-matched leatherette, this has a  metal slide arm to adjust for the individual head size and comfort of the user. This is similar to the Jabra Evolve2 65 reviewed last year but the 75 has a discrete mic that can be folded away

Contents :

  • Headset,
  • Jabra Link
  • 380 Bluetooth adapter,
  • USB  C cable
  • Carry pouch
  • User documents

Warranty:  2 years

It’s great to see manufactures confidence  in their products with a 2 year warranty

Battery :

  • Corded charging USB-C
  • Sleep mode Yes
  • Charging time Up to 160 minutes
  • Battery status % after 30 min / 60 min 30% after 35 min and 60% after 70 min

Setup:

Setup is easy and works,  this can be connected to a phone and a laptop, the unit can be paired to 8 devices with 2 Simultaneous Bluetooth connections, utilising  Bluetooth version 5.2 with a range of  Up to 30m,

Alternative when connected to a laptop the 380 Bluetooth adapter (AKA dongle ) can be plugged directly into the laptop and works.

  • Connectivity Bluetooth®, USB-C
  • Bluetooth profiles A2DP v1.3, AVRCP v1.6, HFP v1.8, HSP v1.2, PBAP v1.1, SPP v1.2
  • Bluetooth version 5.2

Simultaneous Bluetooth connections 2

  • This is a feature I would recommend strongly for me personally if earphones do not connect to multiple devices, walk away! These are typically connected to my Laptop and phone, for work / social music or taking calls leaving a free hand to take notes.

Call quality,

As expected from Jabra the call quality is excellent due to the 8 microphones and Jabra beamforming technology. In essence, the background noise is filtered out with anyone standing beside the headset unable to hear the conversation. There is the option to change between Active Noise-Cancellation (ANC) or hear through to allow you to concentrate on the surroundings or ensure you are not shouting on an office call. The discreet microphone is required to be extended fully when in use, as the person on the other may hear a broken voice if not extended fully.

To enhance the experience, the software /app can be used Jabra Direct, Jabra Sound+, Jabra Xpress ( software demo on the previous review  Jabra Evolve 2 65 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gHj4gVUX93A&t=497s )

Overall:

This model has one major difference from the previously reviewed Jabra Evolve 2 65  which has been a workhorse of mine,as an on-ear headband due to,  it works on every call connects to the laptop or phone, with excellent battery life while the Evolve 2 65 is not used outside of an office environment due to the boom mic. The Jabra Evolve 2 75 has the same technology in terms of great battery life, ANC / hear through and connects each time but has a discreet mic folded away which can be comfortably used in an office environment or Gym setting or noisy environment. This model is not for everyone as the design allows the mic to only work on the right ear, this model comes with no charging stand ( optional extra )  albeit not required as charging via a standard USB C cables works,

The features are approved for the MS Teams and work on other types of calls,  this has additional features in terms of  Busylight, Calls controls Voice guidance. A real positive for practical use is the discrete hide-away arm with built-in mute and auto-answer functions. The Jabra family of earphones has tried and tested software to allow a tailored experience for the user preference of audio.

The Jabra Evolve 2 65 has been one of my favourite earphones over the last year, with the Evolve 2 75  superseding this with the discrete mic, excellent battery and call quality, an excellent choice for the new hybrid options of lifestyle.

Key Features and Specifications:

  • 26% per cent more Noise Cancellation than Evolve 75 through Adjustable Jabra Advanced ANC, dedicated chipset and Jabra’s new Dual Foam Technology
  • Premium Open Office microphones with a 33 per cent shorter hide-away microphone boom arm than Evolve 75
  • 8 microphone technology
  • Superior quality calls
  • High quality audio with the boom arm retracted in discreet mode, or when fully down in performance mode. Optimised for a flexible worklife
  • Certified for all major UC platforms
  • Up to 30m/100 ft wireless range

Tech Review – Datalocker Sentry k350

At techbuzz over the years we have reviewed a variety of encrypted storage devices. This one ups the game in terms of the physical size with storage of 256 Gb with the Hardware Encryption security for a usb flash drive.  The kit looks like a cigarette lighter, slightly bigger with a keypad and display on the front for entering digits. The packaging while simplistic in design had all the usual specifications and compatibility listed. The material is strongly made of an epoxy coating for the chip and flash protects it from physical intrusion from water (IP67 rating) with an excellent transfer rate of data.

Install & setup

It is important to read the quick start guide, instructions which consist of plug in, change the password and use, but caution on using an overly complex password as like the old phones, having to press a few times to get a letter to pop up. This is displayed on the actual lcd display which is a positive. Passwords must contain a minimum of 8 characters. This should consist of a combination of letters, numbers, and special characters for your password. Some examples of invalid passwords are: ‘78901234’, ‘43210987’, ’12345678’, ‘1111111.

Installation took less than a minute to set up a new password. Due to the physical length of the flash drive it is recommended to keep the laptop stationary to ensure it is not damaged if moving around.

Advanced user or group admin can use a Safe Console,

This has a group policy which can control all the relevant memory sticks as the administration to include a SilentKill code which would allow the unit to be configured to Self-Destruct if triggered.

  • support@datalocker.com: Feedback and feature requests
  • datalocker.com: General information

See techbuzz video link for speed transfer rates which are in line with the manufacturers transfer speeds (Speed USB 3.2: – 150MB/S Read, 100MB/s Write)

Conclusion

Most students in the first year of college will be advised on the importance of having a backup while the hybrid model of working increases the risks of taking data off site.

GDPR will have made most of the IT networks aware of the consequences of a lost data in terms of travelling with data and taking work home, companies are constantly at risk from unprotected data on an unsecured USB flash drive.  Many millions of unprotected USB drives are lost / stolen every year

The implications can be immense: lost reputation, lost jobs, lost profits, customer data, financial information, business plans, confidential information are only some examples of the data that are usually stored and transported.  The question then becomes not if to use an encrypted pen drive, rather what type of model and size or to use an alternative method in the cloud. The K350 has an easily navigated keyboard which is password protected, FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified, encrypted USB drive with a display screen that makes setup and operation for the non-technical people while providing all the advanced features which may be expected to be set up by a security team.

Datalocker Sentry k350 connected to pc techbuzzireland

The advanced feature would suit those of an enterprise nature but can also be used as an individual.  Datalocker is separated from many other encrypted devices via the option to remotely manage a fleet of devices via safe control. Many people may consider speed, copy, and write as a major factor for a usb key, this should not be the primary consideration, rather looking at an overview People Process and Technology.  Typically, people are the weak link which means the easier for a person to use the product the better chance it will be used as required. The 3-year warranty is also a major factor to ensure quality, reliability to ensure if a problem the data is backed up and can be restored. Datalocker has a variety of secure encrypted devices up to 7.6TB capacity in some of their models which we hope to get our hands on for future reviews.

Overall excellent quality build, 3-year warranty, ticks the encryption standards, easy to use which the option to expand as required, and excellent decision should a device go missing

“This could be the best choice made this year if a device goes missing “

Tech Review – TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Light Strip Tapo L900-5

The tapo is a brand well known to techbuzz as part of the tp-link family. The box briefly gave a clear picture of the features, compatible and a UK support address listed while option to use in a variety of languages available. The QR code is displayed for ease of downloading the app with clear images of the actual light strip visible to highlight the catch phrase “Full colour ambiance for every occasion”

Contents

  •       Tapo Smart Light Strip (Tapo L900-5)
  •       Power Adapter
  •       Quick Start Guide

Setup and use:

Download the tapo app via the QR code, set up an account with easily guided instructions on screen on the app. Once setup the latency is negligible in changing colours on the unit with a variety of options throughout the menu structure. Note when connection to the Wi-Fi only use – Wi-Fi Frequency: 2.4 GHz

Setting up the unit to e.g Alexa worked as expected, adding a skill, and linking this to the tapo app. The Alexa option allowed voice control to turn off or on, but not the option to change the colours via voice control. Overall, this worked well either via the phone app, tactical control, or voice control .

Niggles:

The design in terms of software and functionality works well but in terms of out of the box experience having a black plug going into a white cable on off switch (AKA Tactical Control which is the controller box to manipulate the Light Strip. This allows the unit to be turned / off / on, reset the Light Strip and change the current colours.)   looks completely out of sync, and again TP prefers to use a proprietary plug which gives no value to a user. The connection to the cables which again has seen similar in other brands is fiddle and does little justice to the unit.

Conclusion:

The biggest concern for any products of this nature for future proofing is not the 50000 hours lifespan rather the software upgrades and compatibility that happen over time.  Many products as with smart phones are obsolete  in a few years as happens with lots of technology. The unit has a variety of uses from the obvious colour changes, linking to music or and an extra security deterrent via the use of schedules to set your light to automatically turn on and off.

The family of tp link, tapo may be at a higher level in terms of cost, which is made up for in terms of quality, support and expected future updates and compatibility. An example of this support was a question asked by techbuzz via the tapo app was submitted to Tapo at 5:45 pm on a Sunday evening and a tailored response was received back by 7:39Am on Monday via their TP-Link Technical Support, no subscription was signed up to. This higher level of support with its combined app setup stands out on a product, albeit a few personal niggles, notwithstanding the product does what it’s supposed to do, connected and is certainly a unit to give colour and ambiance to an occasion.

Tech Review – SwitchBot Curtain. Make your old curtains smart. #Switchbot #Tech #Smarthome

The SwitchBot Curtain came in an exciting array of connectable devices for the smart home which included SwitchBot Curtain, SwitchBot remote, SwitchBot Solar Panel, SwitchBot Thermometer and Hygrometer and SwitchBot Hub mini. The various units are designed to work for one app on your phone, reducing the need to have multiple apps for each product. This provides an ecosystem of integrated units for the smart home The kit comes with no screws or bolts or hardwiring, electrician required.

Features:

Works with – retrofit property.

  •       For any types of curtains rail   No matter it is Rod, U Rail track, or I Rail track, SwitchBot Curtain can always fit.
  •       Support U Rail Curtain
  •       Support Rod Curtain
  •       Support Rail Curtain

This kit is designed to work with (Note the SwitchBot Hub Mini, is required for this to work and sold separately)

This is excellent for the ecosystem to control the units from a security perspective open and close the curtains at random times or used for other features in terms of connecting to the thermometer/ hydrometer to check the temperature or turn off / on other connected devices.

Make your curtains smart in seconds, also makes your existing curtains motorized and automated with 30-second installation. schedule, and touch and go.

The marketing team for SwitchBot may get legal action and in my opinion, this is false marketing without giving the full truth, and are setting up customers to fail.

The process involves opening the box, read the instructions,  download the app via the QR code, register your account, await a  SwitchBot verification code via email, physically set up the SwitchBot curtains,  set up the app on the phone, and configure, calibrate the curtains, notwithstanding read the 48-page guide for installation and charge the kit for 10 hours, if taking a short cut and not reading the manual prepare for the “ Factory reset on numerous occasions “ by holding the contact button for 15 seconds.  All this in 30 seconds installation!

Battery:

Charging takes 10 hours while once charged lasts an excellent time up to last 8 months depending on the usage. An alternative option to minimise the need to charge the kit would be to purchase (sold separately) the SwitchBot Solar Panel which would mitigate the need for charging, The kit is supplied with modern USB C charging cables which if not going for the solar panel option could be charged leaving a power bank attached to the SwitchBot Curtain overnight removing the need to remove the SwitchBot Curtain from its hanging position. This is a real positive for the smart home. The other devices came with a standard battery which is easily changed as required.

SwitchBot Thermometer and Hygrometer

Once configured which is easy, this will mirror the temperature in the room to your app which is ideal to set alerts if the temperature drops below a certain temperature e.g., Child’s bedroom which can be configured to take an action. The Hygrometer is used for measuring the humidity of the air. For maximum heating effectiveness and comfort, humidity levels should be between 30% and 50%. In the summer, a maximum of 55% is tolerable this is great to be aware of if monitoring the elderly. The Thermometer is slow to change temperature, having placed this is a fridge down to 2 degrees Celsius, on placing within the kitchen it took approx. 10 minutes to raise back to the normal temperature while appears correct when compared with 2 other temperature gauges. The app does keep a record, which can be displayed graphically of the temperature which can be exported as required for a day, week, month or year.

SwitchBot Hub mini

This is required to allow the technology to connect the smart home to your router and connected remotely to the devices and the likes of Alexa. This as many products do not support connection from your router on 5G and do not support does not support WEP and WPS for now, (which as stated by SwitchBot ) makes users vulnerable. If this does not connect instantly on the first go, a requirement may be required for a techie to login into your router to configure firewall rules as troubleshooting.

SwitchBot remote,

The remote is possible the most used items, simple in what it does, configured via the app to e.g., top button press = close, bottom button = open. Again, instructed in the manual but configured via the App. This is ideal as once configured, no app, phone, Wi-Fi etc. is required just press the button to open or close which has worked faultlessly once configured and calibrated.

App use, SwitchBot:

The app has got a rating of 2.8 out of 5 with over 100k downloads, the rating would not be considered a good rating but can often be caused by an older version of the software or bug. In my opinion, I believe this is a fair result for the app having various issues on the initial setup, (albeit tried on an older phone – and got an error when tried to use the Forget Password – error Validation error detected, with code lingo in terms of the details must satisfy regular expression pattern.)  This was again used on newer android phone and technically worked with FAQ, but a lot of time spent on trial and error, (Hence read the manual and app details to prevent hours of futile time setting up)

Once the app is set up, controlling the curtains or configuration of the other devices was standard in terms of adding a new product with challenges to establish how to link one product to another, various links to videos were available to view online in this area via the FAQ.

Brand:

SwitchBot has been around since 2016   with a tag line of, we help you to create a comfortable home with innovative smart home products.  Which I would agree with (once their app get a makeover)  https://switch-bot.com/

Overall:

My biggest niggle on this product is the claim “30-second installation” which is compounded by an app that still requires work and manuals that in my opinion are written by someone English is not their first language. Notwithstanding the above, the product once setup works well, and has been the focal point of many visitors who have been very impressed with the simplicity of the unit, allowing it to be used via the App, or remote once configured, alternatively connect via various smart home option E.g., Alexa. Again, the simple things have been done, pulling one curtain manually, the Touch & Go kicks in to close/open both curtains as required ensuring an equal balance with both open / closed as required. The remote, or the Touch & Go requires no smartphones required once setup and has the advantage of no cables needed to run or electrical wiring to be done. Keeping with one standard brand in terms of one smart home ecosystem again is another positive ensuring when you change the phone or do a smart reset you are not stuck with numerous apps to configure as required. This is ideal for the elderly if set up by a junior person and calibrated to allow them easy of use for the curtains and visibility to see the temperature of the rooms when away.

This has the potential to be a colossal winner once the app & setup nuances are updated.

Setup:

Setup is easy by scanning the QR code on the box and download the Kasa Smart app to your phone. The app has got a rating of 4.7 out of 5 on the play store with over 1 million downloads. On the setup and use of the app, this cannot be faulted in terms of ease of use and functionality. The brand experience of Tp-link (founded in 1996) has years of experience to provide an app that works as intended.

Overall:

The product is designed for indoor use to connect to a standard mains socket, while once cut this cannot re-join again. The 3m tape on the back allows this to be connected to a surface and replaced should a decision be made to move the location at some stage.

The features in terms of connection to the app are great, but after initial setup, 90% of the use was through voice-controlled Alexa (albeit this can be used via Google Assistant or SmartThings also) The scheduled app to allow the light to be set as a morning alarm clock light or from a security perspective putting random lights on when no one is around admirable. This model is slightly more expensive than some other brands but on a personal note., the feel of the material quality may not have much of a difference.  in terms of the software use, and future updates is a certain winner for me. The multitude of colours, scenes available and brightness options have an abundance of possibility for various occasions. The quality in terms of long terms use with a Lifetime of 22.8 years (Based on 3hrs/day) is remarkable with an A+ rating. Overall a lovely easy to use and setup light strip, complemented by a trusted brand to give a multi functional lighting experience tailored to suit the individual requirements.

Tech Review. The Poly Voyager Focus 2 UC. #Poly #Tech #WFH #Office

The Poly Voyager Focus 2 comes in a distinguished colour with a leatherette ear cushion which has a soft memory foam with a metal headset cushioned for strength and comfort. This can be used for noisy environments connected to a Laptop or phone utilising the multipoint connectivity, which connects to two devices at the same time. This can be hardwired for connection if required albeit a step back from the wireless options. The supplied charging stand on the model gave a place to store the headset and charge at the same time.  This unit did not come with the team logo but functioned as expected for Zoom & Teams calls. Recently we also checked out the POLY 7320

Contents: (These vary subject to the model)

Battery:

  •       Talk time: Up to 19 hours (ANC off), Up to 16 hours (ANC On)
  •       Listening time: Up to 40 hours (ANC Off)   Up to 24 hours (ANC On)
  •       Charge time: Full charge 2 hours. Standby time: Up to 30 days

Headset weight:   175 g Warranty:  2-year warranty

Setup and use:

The manufactures recommend connecting the USB adapter directly to the laptop and then power on the handset, this worked seamlessly on various laptop tested. When used on a smartphone connection again worked via the Bluetooth option.

The option to download the software via https://www.poly.com/be/en/support/downloads-apps gave additional features allowing the headset to auto-answer calls when picked up or ensure a ringtone was heard when a call came in, and the headset not close by. This free personalised software options have great features but involve various software for different poly models, this difference can be seen on the charging stand, Plantronics vs the Poly logo on the headset which would appear a standardised approach has not been agreed upon.  When only using one model this is not noticeable while a company with 5 or 6 different poly models could find a challenge to ensure the correct software is in use for the correct model.

The headset can be used on the left or right ear with the boom allowing movement both ways. When the boom is up, this mutes the call with the USB Bluetooth adapter changing colour to reflect this.

Compatibility:

Poly state – All Poly USB headsets and personal speakerphones are compatible with the most popular voice platforms.

poly compatible

Active Noise Canceling (ANC):

This has 3 settings, Off, which would be recommended for only when e.g., listening to music or podcast or similar. When making calls the ANC switch can be set to Low for general office use or High for noisy /loud environment to reduce the background. This is strongly recommended to be kept on as may drain the battery a bit but well worth it from this quality headset to reduce external noise.

Overall:

This is a multi-purpose handset which multipoint connectivity, which can connect to devices simultaneous and remember up to 8 devices. This is a key decision-maker for me when using a phone and a laptop during the day.  The option of using both left and right ear is a bonus with the optional software giving a personalised approach to its use. The options in terms of setting the headset to ring loud while not on your head is great to ensure calls are not missed.  The range at up to 50 m ensures taking the headset for a coffee while still connected is great with the ANC option a must in a noisy environment.

As always from the Poly family of the headset, build quality is excellent, audio quality excellent, battery life ok,  heads set controls in terms of call answer/end, mute, volume +/-, power ON/OFF/PAIRING, ANC OFF/1/2 is excellent and connectivity every time on-call was noted, ( many inferior headsets when not in use for a while often drop the connection required to power down and on again ) this was not the case with this model connected every time even when swapping between various laptops.

Overall, one of my favourite handsets sets this year with a slight personal niggle on the lack of a USB C connection and various software for different models, Overall quality, comfortable, voice alerts and work as they were designed, a stereo Bluetooth headset to give superior call quality every time. Starting at £267.95

Understanding the Blockchain technology and its implications on Financial Platforms

Blockchain refers to a technology that helps to maintain the record of all the transactions of a currency in a detailed form. There are no centralized records maintained for these transactions, and they are decentralized in nature. This helps all the players to maintain the record of all the transactions with themselves. The transactions are stored in the blocks keeping the records of all the currency in a detailed form before the currency even reached the user’s wallet. The records of all the operations are maintained in a public ledger so that everyone can access them and see them whenever they want to. For example, in case you are receiving a dollar, the block is going to maintain a record of the usage of the dollar.

Use of Blockchain in Financial Industry

Blockchain has come out as a technology that has the potential to dislocate the financial industry that is used on a daily basis in the transactions of businesses. You can earn a great sum of money by bitcoin investment which is another method from which financial industry is benefitted. Let’s understand what can be the impact of blockchain technology on financial sectors.

The payment mechanism gets enhanced by the Decentralised system.

The concept of blockchain transactions is completely different from centralised or traditional systems. In traditional payment systems, contracts or deals are made when any central authority meets a specific criterion. This isn’t the case of blockchain transactions, as it allows the two parties to make and complete the agreement and store all the contracts in its distributed public ledger without allowing any intermediary to involve. Payments get completed in no time, and definitely, it is a smart way to complete the agreement.

There is great potential in blockchain technology to regulate the mechanism of real-time payments, which is beneficial for businesses and companies. It provides fast and cost-effective techniques to complete the financial transactions without looking upon central authorities to settle the contract or clear it. But still, in distributed ledger mechanism, it has been observed that there’s a delay in clearing or settling the transactions or funds and also a sense of customer dissatisfaction. The outcome of this may be that customers seek the development of new technologies to offer better solutions.

Therefore, it is imperative to understand how blockchain technology works and how it to process payments to understand it in depth with example. For instance, a person named ABC wants to transfer funds to another person named XYZ. The transaction is gathered into a block, and the other information required to complete the transaction gets connected to validate the transaction to get approved. As soon as the transaction is verified and validated, the money gets transferred to XYZ. Therefore the transaction gets recorded in a distributed public ledger in a sequential manner.

By checking the above instance, it is clear that no central authority’s approval is required to validate the transactions, which are the main benefit of the blockchain mechanism.

Bitcoin Trading

With blockchain technology, not only the exchange sector has benefited, but the financial economy has also grown. Even though its powerful mechanisms it has the potential to renovate the bitcoin trading platform. Businesses used to do bookkeeping to maintain the records of ownership. Still, with the introduction of this digital ledger, the trading sector has been boosted, and there’s no requirement to pay hefty costs in order to maintain the books and validate the transactions record.

There isn’t any requirement to maintain similar records of intermediaries, brokers, settlement and clearing houses, and brokers. The public ledger facilities the two parties that require completing the transaction to access their data at the same time. This makes the entire process must easier, smoother, and transparent.

The duo of blockchain and Fintech

Businesses can grow by using the duo of blockchain and Fintech as it adds to the core value of businesses and organisations. Suppose the duo is implemented with great planning. In that case, it helps by assuring data integrity, providing financial contracts evidently, and computerising the laborious records with blockchain technology, which will help track the ownership source. Not only in businesses but blockchain technology can provide ultimate benefits to the banking sector as well.
