Ebb Software has revealed that Scorn, the highly anticipated atmospheric first-person adventure game, set in a nightmarishly biomechanical universe, will be opening its twisted gates in October 2022.
Revealed on the Xbox Showcase, the announcement trailer teases players with an all-new in-game environment and invites speculation about the disturbing encounters awaiting players on their journey.
Alongside the announcement of the launch date, Ebb Software have also released a deeper development update for their Kickstarter community. This update includes a more technical look at the team’s development progress for Scorn, an interview with their art team and shares a behind the scenes sneak peek at some work-in-progress content. We have seen many similar attempts at a product like this before and well some have worked and some have not and this one works for several reasons and reduces the need to carry extra cables with you when this does it in one and more and not only that it has a bottle opener built in to the tough stainless steel case. Also note this is a pre release unit and the following is to be noted.
The cable sits too tightly in the stainless-steel casing, cause it to scratch the cable when removing it from the casing. This will be loosened
There are still small gaps when the adapters are connected to the cable, and the USB A adapter. The gap will be significantly reduced.
The stainless-steel casing is shinier than we want it to be. The final color will be slightly more matte, which will also alter the appearance of final color of the product.
The Rose Gold cable needs to be adjusted so that the color of the cable and the adapters are consistent.
The aesthetics of the magnet will be improved: The magnet will be less shiny, and there will be no visible glue.
The lightning adapter speed and data transmission is not functioning as expected. This will be improved to our expected specifications before we go into mass production
The USB-A port size will be adjusted as it sits too tightly in the ports, causing scratches after normal use. The size of the USB-A adapter will be adjusted.

Solo developer, Kodo Linija, is excited to announce their sci-fi colony sim Stardeus will launch its Kickstarter campaign on the 16th of August. We are all fond of and use to the standard mouse and remote control and we all have some in the house the thing is though they cost money and they are often lost but how about one gadget to control all your bluetooth devices give presentations and do everything these other gadgets do well there is now a new product on kickstarter called the ProLab mouse and having used it over the last few days it is a neat gadget to own and some might argue it is a solution to a problem we do not have but if you are a multidevice user it is not the case and can be quite handy is is more effective than one might think when you begin to see how it can be used and given its size and the price it is a must for those like me who have multiple gadgets in the house and especially projectors. A new product that has just launched will provide a stylish and low-cost laptop alternative for students and young professionals around the world. The Leef laptop is a beautifully designed laptop shell that receives its computing power from a connected smartphone. Weighing just 1 kg, and being 12mm thin; it retails for less than nearly any other laptop on the market while still being of high-end build and design quality. It was conceived in Ireland and developed in China. Leef is now available to pre-order on the Kickstarter website.
Leef is the creation of Christian McKeever from Ardee in Co Louth. A recent economics graduate of Trinity College Dublin, he has been inspired by new companies that have used technology to reimagine and reinvent existing products and services. A smartphone and computer user for his entire life, McKeever believes strongly that the time for these to be merged has arrived. He says: “The computing power in a smartphone is extraordinary and, docked with a compatible keyboard and screen, it can deliver a low-cost computing solution that will fulfil the average person’s needs.” He continues: “My vision is for a world where the smartphone will be the only computer people will need – to be used with a Leef laptop of course.”
Following intensive research, McKeever selected a Chinese company to support him with developing and designing his novel laptop alternative. ShenZhen LKKER SCM Co, a subsidiary of a leading Chinese industrial design company, will also manufacture and deliver the Leef laptops worldwide. About his Chinese partners, McKeever says: “As well as providing exactly the functionality we set out to provide, they have designed something really beautiful. It features a full-size keyboard and trackpad, a 12.5-inch Full HD LCD display, USB-C ports for fast charging and connection to smartphones; its full aluminium body is just 12 mm thick and weight just 1 kg.
