The cure for drunk and embarrasing messages is here! Let’s welcome #RakEM app! By @VicenteA_George #app #android #IOS

I’m pretty sure that at least once you have sent an angry or embarrasing message during a night out to you ex girlfriend or the girl you like and the next morning you wish haven’t done that.

RakEM-app-300x197
We all have wish of have an app that doesn’t let us send messages when we’re drunk, well although is not the same, now we can “unsent” those msg thanks to RakEM a new messaging app for Android and IOS.

This app have the essential self-mutating encryption algorithms, the basics device-to-device communication, picture sharing, voice calls, video calls, voice messages, and video messages. But also a little like the last update to the BBM you can now erase a massage un both devices.

But RakEM has and advantage and this lies in one simple thing. In order to do that on the BBM you need to activate that function (a thing we’re not able to do in such state), while in the RakEM app you just erase the message and done!

In here you can see a funny video showing how the app works.

You can donwload the app here: Android, IOS

#Periscope, to share and watch live video broadcast from #Twitter by @Tiwaash #Social

Today, Twitter introduced the world with a unique and the best way to share and watch live video broadcasts from your mobile phone by unveiling Periscope, currently available only to iOS.

Twitter has been involved in this process for an year to give us a brand new way of looking things we want to right now and their blog reads “While there are many ways to discover events and places, we realized there is no better way to experience a place right now than through live video. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but live video can take you someplace and show you around.”

For Broadcasters

Periscope lets you share an experience with others. Press a button, and instantly notify your followers that you’re live. Periscope offers an audience and the power of a shared experience. Most mobile broadcasting tools feel far from live. Broadcasters on Periscope are directly connected to their audience, able to feel their presence and interact.

For Viewers

Periscope gives a new set of eyes and ears. Travel the world and step into someone else’s shoes. See what they see, hear what they hear, and hopefully feel what they feel. Watching a broadcast isn’t a passive experience like television. On Periscope, viewers influence the broadcaster by sending messages, and expressing their love by tapping the screen to send hearts.

Twitter will continue building Periscope as a separate product, with a small team based in San Francisco. Twitter brings you closer to people, places, interests, and events in an experience that’s immediate, unfettered, and conversational. We think Periscope can help further that mission by giving people a way to share and experience the world around them, both near and far read the blog.

Download Periscope for iOS right now from here and start sharing your live broadcast with yourfollowers. Hope this is soon made available to other platforms too.

StoryToys, a leading publisher of interactive books and games for children, has been awarded the prestigious BolognaRagazzi Digital Award 2015 for ‘My Very Hungry Caterpillar’, an app for children based on the work of renowned illustrator and author Eric Carle.

The BolognaRagazzi Digital Award is given by the organisers of the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, the world’s leading event for children’s publishing since 1963. The award is designed to identify and promote innovation and excellence in children’s digital publishing, and is one of the most prestigious in this rapidly emerging global industry. In 2015 the international jury considered 192 entries from 27 countries. For 2015, the “jury decided not to award separate fiction and non-fiction categories, but instead to award a single top prize for an outstanding app that unifies both genres.”

In My Very Hungry Caterpillar the much-loved Very Hungry Caterpillar character appears for the very first time in fully interactive 3D form. Children can nurture, feed, care for, and play with their very own caterpillar in a beautiful 3D environment based on the classic illustrations of Eric Carle. The app delivers a wonderful new experience for the millions of fans of this classic book, first published 45 years ago, and has topped app charts in 30 countries around the world, including the UK, Germany, Japan, France and Italy.

“Everyone in StoryToys is incredibly proud and grateful to have received this recognition from the Bologna Ragazzi jury” said Emmet O’Neill, Chief Product Officer of StoryToys. “Our team did an amazing job building this wonderful app, supported at every step by our partners from The World of Eric Carle and the Joester Loria Group.

We always believed that we had created something special with My Very Hungry Caterpillar. We wanted to create an immersive, personal experience that helped children to connect with Eric Carle’s iconic character in a new way. It is very gratifying to have our work recognised by such a renowned organisation as the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

HERE makes it to the AppStore by @Tiwaash #iOS #HERE #Navigation

HERE has been working tirelessly to offer it’s free offline navigation service to lots of people. In this quest to ease people’s lives, today HERE has take a giant leap forward by rolling out HERE for iOS. It was expected that iOS version of HERE was around the corner ever since the Android version was launched. iOS version of HERE combines saved maps with online information — such as live traffic, scheduled or real-time public transit info as well as photos and reviews for the places shown on the map. You can save maps to your phone so that the whole HERE app can be put into ‘offline mode’ and it won’t use any data. Even if your iPhone is in flight mode, you can still see where you are, search for places and navigate there on foot, by public transport or by car. The all-inclusive route planner on HERE for iOS allows you to compare walking, transit and driving directions including an estimate of how long each will take you – and all of this can be done in ‘offline mode’ too. The offline car navigation on HERE for iOS provides full turn-by-turn voice guidance with spoken street names. HERE for iOS is a completely different app from the one previously available on the App Store – because the old version was based on HTML5, it had limited features and it wasn’t optimized for iOS. This time we’re introducing an experience built for iOS from the ground up with the features and the polished feel that people rightly expect from their favourite map app.

#Android and #iOS versions of #MixRadio released to Private Beta Testers by @Tiwaash #Music

Earlier today the very popular personalized music streaming service on WindowsPhone, MixRadio released its BETA Android and iOS versions of the App. Whilst this is not a launch it does point in a new direction for the MixRadio team. We may have expected this as Microsoft sold this awesome service to LINE Corporation sometime back.

MixRadio is a radio focused service that serves up music suggestions based on your chosen parameters. Favorite artists, genres, or even just using some of the curated mixes, MixRadio usually comes up with tunes you want to hear, or just hit Play Me and it plays music which you can thumbs up or down to make it a personal radio station.

MixRadio evolved from Nokia Music which was exclusive to Nokia devices. Nokia later on passed on MixRadio to Microsoft as part of the acquisition and then Microsoft sold it to Line Corporation. Keeping in mind the popularity and the amazing music streaming service, MixRadio is now game to take on the Android & iOS platforms. We are yet to see how the apps look but one thing is very clear with this initiative that MixRadio is on a huge expansion spree. We wish them all the very best and extend all our support both as bloggers and personal.
