These also lightweight and rather comfortable to wear and do not get tangled as standard earphones would, nor do you need to worry about your headphone jack leave your device due to the wireless experience as opposed to plugging earphones into a mobile or iPod..

First check out the image gallery of the product below then head to the unboxing after.

My thoughts.

These to begin with these are not my typical choice of listening tool but over two weeks of use I came to like them and thats down to their weight and design, after a few minutes you forget they are there in fact,As far as sound goes they do the job better than some I have tried out in stores where the option to try earphones are available such as PC World for example. They are robust too which is good and can take a knock,if you drop them there is nothing to worry about,Im the kind of person that likes overheads and them being bulky and depending on the make dropping them can inflict damage with these you wont.

Pairing up to other devices is a simple task and you get a nice audible alert as you do with most of Jabra products (from what I have tried) This is something I like even though it may seem nothing to some, the Jabra sport life app however took some time to pair up with my phone for some reason but when I got it going it worked fine, you can select your activity on the app be it running.cycling or walking and then select time goals calorie burn goals or create interval training. Selecting music to listen to is plentiful you can choose from anything installed on your device and off you go it is good to see that third party app integration is present here. The sports button which is built in is also neat  which begins when you activate it and it gives you a countdown to begin, the app tracks everything from GPS co-ordinates and distance and seemed to be accurate enough on my usage,Voice coaching is excellent too, The Multifunction button is handy to use although for me the buttons where too small and I found them a problem to begin with but I got shovel hands so this is not something to take in too much.

Battery life was fine but you would not get a full day, this would vary by person to be fair and it does have quick charge so that can be forgiven, professional athletes for example would need to charge daily whereas the average gym goers or joggers would be fine for a few hours. The only gripes I had was volume level,Personally I like it loud, very loud but they done the job only indoors I did see the real effect of how good the sound was, using outdoors was different and the experience was doused due to street noise etc. The distance on the cable between each side could have been a tad longer but then again I have a 19.5 inch neck so on this its down to the person more so than the product.

For the price they are good, solid, fit like a charm and look good, easy to use,set up and maintain..For this style of buds I am not custom to they impressed me which is a good thing coming from me and I wear them quite a bit now due to the fact you forge they are there after a few minutes.

Enjoy Full #VR & #AR without a PC thanks to @SulonTech By @VicenteA_George

Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality are two of the most wanted features, but so far with products like Oculus   and the HTC Vive that asked for a NASA computer to have at home, it’s time to go on a different path and there’s where the Sulon Q enter

The first all-in-one, tether-free, “wear and play” VR and AR device

If you don’t want to pay a fortune your better options are Google and Samsung devices, which comes with a far better price but are useless without a phone.

Oculus, Sony and HTC offers are more attractive but demand a way bigger budget, besides been tied to an external devices al well.

The Sulon Q on the other hand, is totally independent, giving the user freedom of movement and enjoyment anywhere.

Using the latest technology to transform any room into an immersive experience backed by AMD the headset is quite different from what we’ve seen lately.

Some of the internals we have:

AMD FX-8800P processor at up to 35W with Radeon™ R7 Graphics Core Next architecture.

4 compute cores and 8 GPU cores  through a revolutionary Heterogeneous System Architecture (HSA)

A 2,560 x 1,440 OLED Screen resolution

110-degree field of view

DirectX® 12 and Vulkan

A custom spatially optimized Sulon Q™ earbuds

Dual noise-cancelling embedded microphones.

An FX-8800P “Carrizo” APU

A 3.5mm audio jack

It uses spatial mapping in real-time to bring the entire space you are occupying into your experience allowing you to seamlessly transition from the real world to virtual worlds.

With full compatibility with Windows 10 the devices seems to be a truly unique experience.

There’s no word about price or availability beyond the launch date during Spring 2016.

The Google Store is now offering more VR options By @VicenteA_George #VR #Cardboard

Lately we find that more and more manufacturers trying to make us use their own VR headset like if there is no tomorrow.

But most of those offers are quite expensive, that’s why the Google Cardboard where so popular, they cost just $15 which is a real bargain. But now, the tech giant wants more and is offering two other options to choose from.

The first addition is the Mattel View-Master, which is basically the same toy we used to play when kids, remastered.

And the second one is Goggle Tech C1-Glass which are quite different to what we’re used to

These ones are cheaper but you can tell from the image they don’t completely block any light source what makes the experience a little less “immerse”.

The Mattel VR goes for around $30 while the Tech C1 cost as much as the cardboard itself.

This is the perfect way to start playing with VR without having to sell a kidney

IF you want to go and get one yourself head here

Do you want to try VR? Are you going for one of these? or want something fancier like the Gear VR?

Newly anounced “5D Glass Disc” Can Store up to 360TB

How to keep our files and documents safe, is something that has bothered us since the beginning, but apparently, a team from the Optical Research Center from the University of Southampton have developed a way to record data in “5 dimensions” and make it last billions of years.

They use a method that uses ultrafast laser impulse to create nanoscale dots aligned into three layers that are five-millionths of a meters apart.

So using a single 1″ inch disc which is more durable than traditional storage options as well they can also fit 360TB into the disc.

According to the team each disc should be able to preserved the data up to 13.8 billion years (which also means we’re not going to be here to see it is indeed capable of that)

Th guys have already encoded various texts of mankind history like the UN’s Universal Declaration of Human Rights, King James Bible, Magna Carta and Isaac Newton’s Optick as copies.

Also named “Superman Memory Crystal ” when they showed for the first time in 2013 as it resembles a the one found on Superman movies of old, they should be ready for commercial use in a couple a years and you will have something like a DVD reader to look what you have there.

Professor Peter Kazansky, from the Optoelectronics Research Centre, said:

“It is thrilling to think that we have created the technology to preserve documents and information and store it in space for future generations. This technology can secure the last evidence of our civilization: all we’ve learnt will not be forgotten.”

What do you think about this? Will this be the solution mankind has been asking for since forever to preserved they knowledge to future generations?

Review – One for the ladies – Pink Ulak Knox Armor case for the Samsung Galaxy S6. #Ulak #Review

This time we have went Pink for the ladies and most cases are a generic colour this time we thought we would change the tone and we did.The Samsung S6 is a popular device and make no mistake there is plenty of female owners out there that sport one. Lets take a look at the Ulak case for the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Packaging is the same as our previous reviews and has no change at all,it simple and effective and tough enough for transportation with padding inside the box to protect it some more, not that its needed as it is a very robust case which comes in two pieces and also easy to install on your device.

All ports on the case for the S6 can be easily accessed and there is a flap present which locks well when not in use on the MicroUSB and headphone sockets this will add more protection to these areas from dirt and dust which can be a problem at times and is a welcome addition to the normal offerings we see. The case has a nice soft edge with good grip on all sides and thicker bumper areas in the corners to give more protection should you drop your phone, the corner is the most likely place you device gets hit when dropped. The back of the case also selected point with rubber toppings to stop the phone from slipping, also to note the camera and flash areas are recessed so again away from harms way.

3 / 8

The keys also work quite fine with no issues to report and work well, they might seem a bit still at first but will loosen up,this would be common in some cases but the buttons on the case are soft and not like the plastic backing you see which is also a tad slippy but the design does not let you feel this due to the rubber edges and makes safe for leaving face or back down as seen in the images above there is a good clearance for the screen on the front. The case had no effect on functionality at all and the camera or front sensors not affected on how the case is mounted, overall the case is rather a good quality case and protects your device more than adequate even though it will add some size to your Samsung S6 and might be just a little to much for some, but it is better to be safe than sorry and in Pink it looks rather well and worth the spend which is around €12 plus shipping from Amazon and available in an array of colours.

Apple has its own #VR headset now on the App Store By @VicenteA_George #iPhone #Apple

Every day more and more companies are joining the VR wagon, but some of the most promising ones like Oculus are too expensive, some others just go an choose the Google cardboard which is way cheaper.

But today we have just discovered that now Apple has its own VR headset, the View-Master Virtual Reality Starter pack (hope the name changes )

Putting the name aside, this is and actual step into the right direction from the fruit company.

This headset was created following the same principles as he Google cardboard, using your iPhone’s screen, you’ll get two split images that when seen through the cristal on the device will simulated the 3D impression on your brain.

Unlike the former, this model is made of plastic, but with a strong resembles of those little toys we use to have when kids, the ones that came with a reel of different images. It even comes with a lever to control your phone.

Well, actually is practically the same as this device works with the same kind of mechanism, the app to control everything on your phone is totally free on the store, but its just a sneak peak of the entire content, such as Space and NATGEO wildlife and destinations.

Something that we did see coming, was a way to charge more for something that should have come ready, in order to unlock the full VR experience, customers will have to buy a separate reel that will free the true power of the app.

And although the device is compatible with iPhone 5 and up running iOS 8.1 or later, there’s a warning saying iPhones 5 and 5c may have issues as the app is not totally optimized.

The View-Master Virtual Reality Starter Pack it in pre-order stage at $29.95

And you can have yours HERE

Stay tuned for more info

Liberty Watch by Watchovers.Unboxing and thoughts #Kids #Safety #GPS #Watchovers

Liberty Watch by Irish company Watchovers is a watch designed to keep track of your loved ones whereabouts, the watch is not a smartwatch in technical terms but is by how it works. The watch comes with Wi-Fi,Telephone and a speaker. The watch comes with a sim card built in allowing the parents/guardian to tell you exactly where the user is and also check the history and you can also call the user and vice versa…

We will unbox the package first and take you through the contents in the package.

Having set up the watch which will take a few minutes we can safely say that it works, notifications work when they are supposed to,only this morning I had two notifications to tell me the battery was low and it was time to charge it,seeing that this works as it claims to we had our child go outside some limits set and without fail the notifications came through, this is good to see for a new product, often the case there is products that do not do as they say on the tin and you can always expect teething errors, there is none to be found here so far.. Check out the image gallery below and if you have any questions please ask below or on Twitter and we will gladly answer….

5 / 9

You can head over to Watchovers.com to see on how to set up the watch and more which is not complicated at all and should take you no longer than 5 mins depending on how much information you want to enter yourself.

My Thoughts..

After a few weeks using this watch I found it an excellent piece,Slightly cumbersome though for my child would like to see a smaller version but having said that my child is a bit smaller than others her age and is very fragile if you will, the watch did look big on her and stood out,Given it does things not obvious to the untrained eye people did not notice the real functionality behind it which was good, family and friends asked what is this watch all about and I said nothing to them to see if they could figure it out which they didn’t until then I explained what it is an what capabilities it had,What impressed me was the notifications, they worked all the time every time, considered ive got a general good signal where it was in use this is expected, there can be situations where the would be possibly no coverage and this could be a concern albeit minuscule.

Battery life was also great compared to other offerings of a similar nature or your typical smart watch, this is not a smart watch though but people today are battery concious this is not going to be an issue here, you will be alerted when the battery needs charging and it does not take long to charge. GPS at times was a bit flaky but this can be expected on any device, factors to include would be network and the area you are in or building, nonetheless at on testing this twice the moment signal was back a notification was instantly delivered with correct coordinates,Setting up wifi zones/boundaries is a great feature and also worked a treat and  the ability to be able to track movement is also great.

For me this is a great product and the fact that its Irish even better again, for the price if you feel the need or are slightly worried about your child’s whereabouts its the ideal solution and cost effective, perhaps size might be an issue for some in its current form but its not a deal-breaker either.Having worked in the security industry before with high profile people this would certainly appeal to them and any parent in fact and you will have peace at mind at all times, the ability to add other people to the watch is a great enhancement too which allows that extra peace of mind.

I can certainly recommend this for any parent who feels the need to have that extra bit of security for their child should they be heading out or the child is on a sleepover in a friends for example, with a simple press of a button the child can contact you and vice versa and it could not be simpler,As for design and longevity this will last its very robust and easy to clean and it can certainly take plenty of knocks..

Spigen – Review,Galaxy Note 5 Case Neo Hybrid Crystal. #Spigen

This case comes in two pieces and you could actually live without the band which in this particular case would probably be the best option from my experience,we will go into that later. The case however is nice all round, comfortable and offers good protection all round even if the outer band is a little weak..

The outer TPU skin is thicker than most on offer and there is no harm in that though the band that sits atop is quite weak on the sides, the key parts though where excellent with good tactility and travel which made the keys easier to use..

Top and Bottom. – The case does leave easy access to ports but to an extent especially on the bottom for Micro USB charging,Here is where I had issues due to the huge gap which you will see below, perhaps it may have been a faulty case here but you can see the distance between the outside and the base of the phone,it is rather big and yes the case is fitted correctly. Also on the top of the case the mic is covered by the outer ring which you can see pictured below too.. (click to enlarge)

Left and Right Sides – The left and right sides just house the keys on the Note 5 on the case there is branding on the bottom right hand side, they keys themselves worked a treat and made them easy to use and I found no issues with functionality or travel and overall a nice experience to use..

Front and Back – On this case there is a lip around the front which is ideal if you are one to place your device face down and dont sport a screen protector, the lip comes around onto the front giving it a good deal of protection and feels quite solid, the outer band here really enforces the entire case into one solid piece, the back also protects the camera and flash area leaving it below flush level protecting it from harm on flat surfaces so you can be sure that then lens or flash for example will be be prone to scratches provided the flat surface you rest it on is dirt free..

See Spigen for more options available in the range and other cases available.

Portable power on a keychain. Say hello to THINO by @VIGLONEW Now on @Indiegogo

There has been a large array of portable charging ideas popping up of late and with the vast amount of ideas growing it shows that we still have an issue with battery anxiety, well most of us..Even though mobile phones batteries are getting bigger this does not entirely solve the matter,In most cases bigger batteries mean the device has bigger screen. The market now for portable charging is becoming very competitive too and the options available are quite good and some not so good and there is an element of style over substance attached.

Thino is a little different,it looks good its compact and its light, also it does not have masses of power but its designed for the emergency situation rather than the longevity of battery until you meet your next power point.Having said that it looks neat,is neat and its convenient, convenience wins for the consumer, its small, not bulky so it wont take up space anywhere unlike some alternatives.

Thino will come in different options to so you can pick, they support Micro-USB devices such as Android and Windows Phone and of course a lightning connector for the iPhone 5 and above.

Thino has a short cable which has a locking mechanism attached to it too so it aint one of those long annoying ones that get tangled easily and can be attached to your keychain or where you may decide yourself, there is a Turbo mode also built in to speed up charging which is handy and the internal battery provides 480 mAh which would get most people out of a mess..

While most ordinary chargers are set to supply a specific current, THINO is able to detect exactly how much current your device can draw from the power source and supply it with its maximum intake by using a built-in Micro-Processing Unit (MPU).

THINO – The fastest On the GO charger is now LIVE on Indiegogo today if this is something that suits your requirements you can support them over HERE
