Eircode has got a bad reception,Just like Irish Water it was thrown out there and caused problems and today with Eircode people still reject the idea. Moving on from the obvious Eircode will be always an issue for some and for how I feel about it, well I see it from both sides,but leaning towards on the spend amount as a huge negative particularity with the public and I tend to agree on that sentiment. Being in the logistics business it is handy and times as is the standalone mapping apps such as HERE or Google and from testing mapping apps for many years it should be welcomed in the longterm given the amount spent which was by no means little…As I have mentioned the topic is of interest to me but only from the technical standpoint and to see how well this actually performs..

For someone who has used maps over the years I still prefer to have a choice at hand such as HERE or Google,generally I use nothing else bar when testing,often the case those in testing are removed due to the lack of info and so on..Now with the likes of this app available there is choice for the consumer and choice is good,how the app performs after that is up to the people behind it..In my travel folder I have several apps that I use which are pictured below..

This app is good,there is several alternatives out there such as Loc8/Point8 and you can use the standalone eircode homepage on your phone or tab and pin it to the homescreen,But we want apps these days and bookmarks dont cut it for the majority..

Poetic Cases – Review – Quarterback Case for Samsung Galaxy S7 edge. @PoeticCases

Poetic cases have once again sent us out another case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and this time round its the Quarterback case which is quite nice albeit Black it really feels good to hold..

The case firstly does not add any notable bulk to the device but does feel tough in the hand and secure,with microgrips on the back flanking both sides in a vertical strip it does add some extra grip then the TPU side again give you some more and there is a cut running up the rails on both sides and again you can see these present top and bottom giving it a nice feel and look..The case again has most of its good looks on the back but looks elegant from the front..

When it comes to the keys they where actually great on this case,they are definitive and travel well and not stiff with a nice soft touch they worked perfectly fine,the ports too also generous allowing users to plug in headphones and cables with no problems and again the speaker grille not obstructed at all which stops muffling of sound.Access to the sidebar was no issues nor the home key with the case no obstructing either,The device can be placed either face down or back down with not having to worry about damaging any key parts on the device so again all is good here,the four corners also sports raised bumpers allowing some more protection too which is good.Overall this case does its intended task and feels good to hold in hand and comfortable too and looks well,especially from the back..

This has been sent in to us just now and we have also been tagged in an account by one of our followers ,The App InstaAnalyzer is prowling accounts right now directing you to an app that will just hack your account,even the links within the app are bogey and dish up warnings so if you get tagged just ignore and report and block,this may be going around some time but I have not seen it personally but to be tagged in it from one of my followers is enough to warrant a warning to users,looking at the app description too suggests its a threat yet its still in the app store.. If you hand over your criteria to the said app you will need to change it,delete the app and then change your own password on the official app again to be safe.Tempting as these apps may seem they are not real and never will be..

Booking your holidays is always fun,Checking brochures or looking on the web and so on,The next bit can be tedious which is paying for it.Most of the time people pay a small deposit or lump sum and some perhaps pay outright there an then,the latter being in the minority. My name is Alan Masterson I am the founder of TravTab. I began working on TravTab since last July when I booked a holiday. Soon after I was in work and literally had a light bulb moment, which I was listening for some years to happen as iv always wanted to start my own business.

With this idea, that day, after work I went home and plotted the idea out on paper with the help of my father and proved it was a viable business idea. From there I contacted LEO and applied for a mentor. I’ve been mentored since August up until last month which was priceless to me. My mentor was exceptional and went above and beyond the normal mentoring criteria which I learned and grew in so many ways in such a small space of time.

During the past 7-8 months from having an “idea”, I have developed TravTab from scratch. From sourcing web developers, accountants, applying for trademarks, setting up bank accounts, creating the company name, finding a mentor, identifying potential customers, finding how to monetise the business, going part time in the day job it’s been a crazy few months but the best few to be honest.

TravTab is fully funded and bootstrapped by itself.

TravTab is run by myself and the now COO Darren Murray who joined in March of this year. TravTab has a fully functional mobile App operating on both iOS & Android along with a webpage page profiling TravTabs service.

We are currently pursuing sales leads and are in talks with travel agents to launch TravTab. We are very excited about TravTabs future!
