Tech Review – The TimeKettle MK2 translator earbuds. #TimeKettle #TWS #Tech #Travel

Every once in a while a product crosses my desk that I just love and this is one of them and that is a rare thing for me and if you are a person that travels this simply is a must have piece of technology in your pocket, OK one could argue there is standalone translators out there and you can use you voice assistants and so on but these do a great job plus they sound dam good too so they are a 2-in-one product that just delivers.

When to company contacted me I was a bit dubious however once I gave these a test run I was more than impressed and these for the two reasons outlined above they work quite well and they deliver on sound yet they are on the large size and one might feel they are too big you can forgive it and they are also light they will not fall out of your ears and you will forget they are there, I do wish they came in different colours and perhaps the next model will be smaller but overall they are a worthy investment particularly for those who travel and is learning a language.

The build quality here is fine although just like your typical earbud and the build is just plastic but they are durable, they are light, bigger than conventional earbuds but overall fine and you will forget they are there after a few minutes use.

Controls are minimal when it comes to use but the basics are there you have to remember they are not a music focussed product too you can skip tracks, play and pause and you can also access your voice assistant and the controls work really well due to their size we go through all this in the hands on review below and all the functions on offer they are really intuitive and I love the idea. When it comes to using as a traditional pair of true wireless these are actually good, they are loud well balanced and I would certainly use them on a daily basis and if travelling these would certainly be in my tech bag without a doubt.

When it comes to the translation this is where they do the job they aim to do and they can be used in several ways to use the translation functions and all is simple to do and no real tech know how to get going and you will need your smartphone to implement the functions. Check out the options you have and the detailed video review below for more.

The Tranya T10 are the latest on offer from the company and an improvement over the B530 we reviewed a while ago. Where these fair out better is the touch controls which are excellent and not ones you need to shove into your ears like some to get a command activated. Edifier recently launched a new pair of True Wireless called the X3 and these come in at a really affordable price but what can you get for this money these days as the cost performance ratio has come down in the last few months on TWS earbuds? Well after testing these Edifier has another hit on their hands with how these sound and as for their price you cant miss these even for a second pair of earbuds and certainly one to throw into the xmas stocking this year as TWS are the thing and there is no need to spend silly money on Apple products.

The X3 are the newest offering in the TWS range from Edifier. Featuring the latest Bluetooth v5.0, the Qualcomm chipset delivers a faster, more stable signal transmission and low input latency. This technology keeps interference to a minimum, even with a transmission distance of 10m. The low power consumption also provides 6 hours of playback, with an additional 18 hours using the sleek charging case before mains power is required.

The microphone, with CVC V8.0 noise cancellation technology, is guaranteed to deliver a clearer sound during calls. It automatically reduces background and environmental noise to pick up the user’s voice accurately and ensure high clarity audio transmission with richer details.

Having been fine-tuned by a professional team, the high-fidelity aptX audio decoding technology delivers CD-quality sound performance in each range. Deep bass and tri-frequency balance are achieved across all music genres.

One-step pairing assures fuss-free usage, meaning the earbuds automatically pair to each other and the last paired device for a faster connection when removed from the charging case. The touch control on each earbud also offers easy access to various functions, including play/pause, next/last song and answer/hang up on calls. The voice assistant can also be activated by triple tapping either earbud.

Tech Review – The Pamu Slide Mini true wireless earbuds. #PamuSlideMini #Tech #TWS

The Pamu slide mini are the second pair on offer from their well received OG pair which today still serve me well and are a worthy purchase and a solid performer considering the price and they also came in a first I have seen with a case that offers wireless charging for your phone too which was a neat touch and not seen since from me from any other, there is charging cases with many TWS earbuds but none that offer wireless charging.

To keep this short these are pretty much identical to the previous pair and you can read that review HERE and they still deliver as a whole coming in cheaper and the fit on these again is great and something I liked from the OG and the design which again remains the same and the difference being a smaller case yet offering wireless charging for the earbuds but none for your smartphone etc.

  • Features Bluetooth Chip QCC3020
  • 30 hours playback on one charge
  • Awesome sound with booming bass
  • Touch Controls for easy operation
  • Water Resistance:IPX6
  • Wireless charging
  • Smaller Charging Case

Tech Review – The DYPLAY ANC Shield Pro true wireless earbuds. #TWS #Tech #DYPLAY

The dyplay ANC shield Pro adopts latest feedforward+feedback noise cancelling technology which reduces the ambient unwanted noise to 28dB with multi-mode functions transparent mode allows for easier communication with other people without having to take out headphones, and never missing an important announcement like airport gate changes or bus stops. They are also equipped with 10mm drivers and superior diaphragms to reproduce pure sound. What’s more, the 2020 newest synchronous bluetooth transmission ensures stronger connection and lower power consumption in use.
Overall after testing these for some time now they are a really good pair of earbuds with a decent level of ANC on board with all the usual features you would expect to find and you can see how they work in the video below. These do actually remind me of the Jabra Elite 65t with their shape and size and offer a great fit and noise isolation once you fit them with the right size earbud.

Tech Review – The Wintory Air 1 Wireless Earbuds. #TWS #Tech #Wintory

The Wintory AIR 1 TWS are a clean pair of true wireless earbuds that come in a really nice aluminium case and at this price point you do not see that very often yet you would be familiar with the typical plastic charge case, this is cold to the touch yet to note does not heat up on charging which is a point made by the company. The earbuds are plastic but do follow on with the case theme and look really well and it is a nice colour option rather than the traditional black on offer.

The case will easily fit in your pocket too and is has some LED lights up front for charge and connectivity status. These a IPX5 rated and look more expensive than they are with a good fit although I would not suggest using in the gym or jogging but there is extra tips there to get the right fit, they do offer a good seal overall.

The controls are easy to use and you have clicky button each side rather than touch which lets you know you have made a command there is no voice assistant here yet all other controls are at hand for music and calls. When it comes to music these performed well and better than anticipated and nice and loud with a nice level of bass thrown in for good measure too and overall really good audio to be had here especially for the price, instrumentals are clear and so is voice and good direction and all genres etc where fine from my playlist, Listening to movies and You Tube did rather well too with no dropouts noted during my testing time and also no lag latency noted either..

Highlights claimed by Wintory

1. Premium HD sound with extra bass thanks that dual dynamic drivers.
2. Stereo call without ambient noise
3. Super low lag
4. 25 hours playback time with charging case in total, 6 hours per charge. On par with claims from my testing.
5. IPX5 rated

6. It embraced the same chipset as Sony – WF-1000XM3 that makes these earbuds can reproduce Hi-res Audio, which very approximate to the standard of LDAC that launched by Sony.

Wintory sent these for us to review with no compensation or copy approval given beforehand.

Tech Review – The Groov-e Music Buds True Wireless. #Tech #TWS #Groove

Groove recently announced their latest product called the music buds to their portfolio of affordable tech and these are really good considering the price they come in at with all the features you expect to find and no need to take out your phone to control the music and calls and also has the option to connect to your assistant on the go too with simple to use controls, the controls are once again a button and not touch based which is nice.

Again we have a clean design on offer here and the have a low profile too and do not stick out from your ears and offer a nice snug fit there is no ANC on board but they do a decent job muting the outside world and when at max volume you will not hear a thing anyway however in some instances they did get tinny and muffled but overall a good experince and max volume is my personal taste anyway and many would not keep at max level to get some kind of ambience.

The build quality is solid and the controls so easy to use which I like with your typical 1/2/3 taps to get things moving, we go through this in the video below anyway. There is nice bass present here and overall fairly well balanced from testing my usual playlist and I was happy enough with their performance and the battery life is also on par with their claims and with no ANC present it is decent battery life. For 25 quid lads you cant go wrong but I would like to see more colours from the company on their earbuds selection even White would be nice.
