The Sennheiser IE range continues its history of excellence with the all-new IE 200. The newest member of the IE family shares considerable DNA with its renowned siblings but seeks to bring pure listening pleasure to a broader audience. With exceptional detail, clarity, and impact, users can now expect quality and features that are usually reserved for top-of-the-line devices.
“The Sennheiser IE 200 represents an open invitation for everyone to enjoy high-end sound,” says Jermo Koehnke, Sennheiser Audiophile Product Manager. “With balanced, true-to-life audio reproduction, users will be able to hear the details that they’ve been missing in ordinary headphones.”
Quality fit for audiophiles
The IE 200 enables seasoned hi-fi enthusiasts and newcomers alike to experience new dimensions of sound quality. Based on 15 years of Sennheiser TrueResponse Transducer technology, the IE 200 features a 7-millimeter extra-wide band transducer for exceptional quality. A hallmark of the IE family, the latest addition to the in-ear lineup continues to bring superbly balanced and realistic audio to an ultra-compact form factor.
With IE 200, nothing stands between the user and discovering new sonic landscapes. Harmonic distortion is almost non-existent, with a natural frequency response curve typically found in earphones costing significantly more. Furthermore, the IE 200 can appeal to a variety of listening preferences thanks to its unique dual-tuning feature. Audiophiles can mount the included ear tips in one of two positions, giving them control over the balance of their audio experience – from deep and emotional bass response to texture-rich treble presence.
Comfortably Connected
With an exceptionally comfortable fit, IE 200 is made for uninterrupted listening sessions. Able to accommodate ears of all sizes, their inconspicuous design boasts a proven ergonomic design that promotes a secure seal and lasting comfort. Viscoelastic foam and silicone ear adapters in multiple sizes block ambient distractions while maximising low-end response. A revised, braided cable reduces handling noise, and terminates to widely a 3.5mm stereo plug and MMCX connectors for connection to countless audiophile devices.
Pricing and availability
The Sennheiser IE 200 will be available for pre-order globally on January 17, 2023, and will go on sale from January 31, 2023, with an MSRP of £129.99.
The Sennheiser Momentum True wireless 3 have been my latest earbuds to test here and these come in at the more expensive end of the market, as is the market is pretty overcrowded now however giving the consumer lots of choice which is not a bad thing. People as spoiled for choice and with the cost to performance ratio so good now with earbuds are these worth the spend? There is more earbuds out there that offer just the same for less and this might be the only caveat for the new earbuds from the company but brand fans will not let that get in the way and as the saying goes you have to pay to play or you get what you pay for do these justify their high price in the earbud market? Let’s take a look.
Design, build and fit
Well those who have had the previous two models will see some subtle differences here with the new one, as mentioned in my detailed video review and unboxing I have not tried the previous pairs and my review is based on these alone but you can easily spot the differences between new and old. Either way the design language is not to distant yet perhaps better this time around and this should please users if more than anything. These are slightly larger earbuds than other out there so take that into account.
The App
As expected they have a great app to go along with the earbuds and at this price point it is expected, again I go through the app in detail and all the functions at hand and how you can customise your earbuds and it gets a thumbs up from me asides on thing and that is the data collection on using Sound Zones and in order to use this you need to sign up this may bother some but sure look at what else other companies know about us already but it is worth noting this. The data is location data if you must know and again where that goes and how it is used is another matter. Another cool feature is the Anti Wind which is useful outdoors more so on calls but again cleans up annoying noises.
The Sound
The part everyone wants to know, still testing the biggest range of earbuds here in Ireland these are up there at the top, highs lows and mids are great, great bass and more and the app just helps you along to get the right sound for you, with more expensive heavy hitters out there these easily get in my top 3 earbuds to data and it has been a while since one of those had to be shelved from the current 3 I had ranked at the the top, for music films gaming and podcasts you are in for a treat there but everyone’s ears are different however these do shine regardless and anyone that picks these up will be happy. The ANC is up there again but not the best but not far off it either overall and in fairness it is hard to compare earbuds to headphones but this factor is getting better making earbuds having a more complete effect overall with the likes of ANC getting so good. Sound profiles this time are Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive, aptX, AAC, SBC.
Battery Life
Battery life is averaging around 26 hours with maxed out volume and so on this is a real world use test after several weeks testing them they will go closed to the 28hr mark with things turned down a few notches as with any earbuds that are highly customisable with the likes of ANC and so that does affect the total endurance of the earbuds.
Overall
These are really good earbuds and brand loyalists will be happy here overall with the product and perhaps some of the new app features minus the data caveat, to be fair others are also doing this too, If you want the best performance out of the earbuds do the soundcheck test and try out the Sound zones you can create up to 20 of these and these can set the tone for the environment you are in and also use the sound check again to create a better set up just for you, for calls they are fine overall and do a decent job, you also get wireless charging which for me is great and of course USB-C fast charging. You have an IPX 4 rating which will suit most and now new fins alongside the integrated tips which again you should check all to get the best fit.
The MIFO S belongs to Sport & outdo (S&O) brand (owned by Mifo), and the brand name “Sport&outdo” The MIFO S Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds are the latest of a huge range of earbuds in for review making it another hot year for the true wireless market, with prices coming down and the user getting more features it makes it harder for choice but this depends on what you want, with these earbuds they have a smaller profile than most and in fact the smallest earbuds this year so far that I have tested including the many pairs in which you will soon see reviewed.
The presentation of the product is also quite nice however what you see on the box does not transcribe to what is inside and by that I mean the case and the earbuds cover however the product inside is excellent considering its size and some might prefer the actual finished product itself which looks really cool, well made and much more.
Comfort and Fit
These are small earbuds with a clever design and the look cool and stand out too, they fit well and will not fall out due to the “horn design” without the added gel wings we tend to find with earbuds, the right tips is of course important and once you have them on the passive noise isolation is excellent too and they do not hurt when changing tracks and so on.
Controls
The controls are easy to use too with a concave finish on the earbud itself, even for my big fingers it was no problem getting things done which was something I was worried about having huge hands but to my surprise they worked well, all the usuals you expect to find are here as demonstrated in the video review below, volume up/down skip/; reverse tracks and so on.You have three modes – Long press for one second to switch to mild noise reduction mode, strong noise reduction mode, or transparent mode, you can see more in the video review on the operation of the earbuds.
Sound
Well.. These have no app and when I see earbuds coming without an app I get a bit bothered but trust me if you like bass these are for you, they are base heavy which I like bit some may not and they do a great job overall with highs lows and mids and any thing you are doing with them in fact so with Netflix YouTube and movies you will be pleased with the audio experience from these tiny earbuds that pack a huge punch for their size.

Battery Life
Like these guys are tiny earbuds and they come with a decent battery life too after testing for some time they average around 38.5 hours on max volume which is impressive given their size the case they come in too is also super cool and robust and one of the nicest ones this year so far, I like my earbuds cases to be different and these are different and the build quality is better than most at this price point.
Overall
if you like bass and a decent volume these are for you and overall a rich audio experience they are IP67 rated the ANC/ENC is good and up there with more expensive models and look different but cool with a nice colour and more expensive than they look finish.
The all new Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 which have recently launched have finally landed here at techbuzz and we are looking forward to testing these out over the coming week or two. This is the third pair of earbuds in their successful series and there is some slight differences between new and old albeit more down to aesthetics and the addition of wings, but how they sound is what most people are in for and we will have a result soon here and on our YouTube where we go hands on with the earbuds and the app which is excellent.
Any questions feel free to ask in the interim and we will be back soon with the full review. Just like its predecessors, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 delivers outstanding sound quality, centred around Sennheiser’s True Response transducer. Based on dynamic 7mm drivers manufactured in Germany, it produces an immersive stereo sound with deep bass, natural mids and detailed highs. The new Sound Personalisation feature provides an enhanced sound experience via a guided listening test to setup the perfect sound for each user’s individual hearing. In addition, the Smart Control App offers a choice of presets and an equaliser feature to tailor the sound to the user’s taste
The multi-award-winning MOMENTUM series from Sennheiser introduces a new member to the family. The MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 set new standards when it comes to sound quality, adaptive noise cancellation (ANC), and wearing comfort. Encased in a design that was defined using high-quality materials and precise workmanship, the earbuds offer a range of technologies and features that take the listening experience to a new level.
“Our MOMENTUM series continuously succeeds in redefining the boundaries of possibility,” said Frank Foppe, Sennheiser True Wireless Product Manager. “The MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 build on a powerful heritage. With the Sennheiser Signature Sound, TrueResponse technology, next-level adaptive noise cancellation and an even better fit, these earbuds are the natural successor of the MOMENTUM series.”
A superior sound experience
Just like its predecessors, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 delivers outstanding sound quality, centred around Sennheiser’s True Response transducer. Based on dynamic 7mm drivers manufactured in Germany, it produces an immersive stereo sound with deep bass, natural mids and detailed highs. The new Sound Personalisation feature provides an enhanced sound experience via a guided listening test to setup the perfect sound for each user’s individual hearing. In addition, the Smart Control App offers a choice of presets and an equaliser feature to tailor the sound to the user’s taste.
Since the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 was created for everyday life on-the-go, Sennheiser has specifically improved the earbuds with Adaptive Noise Cancellation which automatically adjusts to your environment. The system continuously observes ambient noise to suppress it in real time. Users who want to be aware of their surroundings to hear things such as train announcements, for example, can deactivate the noise cancellation at the touch of a button, or switch to transparency mode.
For the best possible synchronisation between audio and visual content, the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 support a wide range of audio codecs such as AAC, SBC and aptX™ Adaptive, which reduce latency to a minimum. In addition, each earbud now features three microphones that promote crystal-clear call quality, enabling smooth and easy-to-follow video calls. The intuitive touch controls of the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3, which users can tailor to their personal preferences, make it easy to navigate the audio and access voice assistants.

And because the high-quality case supports wireless charging, the process itself is easy as it can be.
Pricing and availability

OneOdio is a brand that makes audio products at a really reasonable price and falls into the entry level price range however the goods are not entry level on price we have tested some of their products here in the past and their latest true wireless the F2 have dropped in and these come in a really cool range of colours.
The presentation is also cool with the charging case which looks like a small camera on the front, there is a USB-C port underneath and then some LED lights to give you a charge status beside the logo, there is no wireless charging or app with these but at this price point it is expected.
The earbuds themselves have a stem and sit nicely in the ears once you apply the right tips which you should always do anyway, there is no ANC present but the passive noise isolation works well. To control the earbuds you have a capacitive area in gold which ties in with the theme of the earbuds and these work really well, One Odio are really good at this from testing previous products and it is great to have earbuds that do not have you tapping more than you need to so you can execute the command you want. You can skip/reverse play/pause tracks and more which you can see in the video review below. One other thing to note is these can be used individually ie either side can be in the charging case.
Sound.
The sound is good considering the price here nice volume with a nice level of bass, highs lows and mids are fine and overall they are great for the non audiophiles and pack a punch , there was no distortion when maxed out on volume and I cant complain really. Overall they are worth their price make an ideal gift and even a spare pair to have for out jogging or taking a walk in the park.
Features

Dainty Retro Design: TWS is like jewelry that you wear on your ear. The appearance is very important. F2 wireless earbuds have a small and dainty retro design to ensure comfort and a convenient touch UI design. The charging box has a battery indicator, which is concise and clear
The earbuds game is oversaturated a long time now and the cost to performance ratio has also got much better for the consumer which means better deals for those in the market for new earbuds and it can only get better, with so many players in the market now there is plenty of choice and some might be a risk especially imports and copies which we see at petrol stations and cheap tech stores throughout the country.
We have been testing an affordable pair which can be bought on Amazon are the S12 earbuds and deliver across the board there is no app no wireless charging and no auto play and pause but everything else you need is present such as skip and reverse tracks play and pause volume up and down and you have access to your voice assistant too all of which are considered the basics these days.
The case they come in is also quite nice too and has a matt finish and hold the earbuds securely and has a USB-C port for charging and a pairing button, the earbuds themselves are a clean design and do look similar to airpods which would not be a new thing these days and have a touch area that works quite well in comparison to other out there I have tried out.
LHBD S12 earbuds techbuzzireland
When it comes to sound they are loud and punchy with great bass too so for the bass fans these are a must if you want to purchase a cheap pair of earbuds, highs lows and mids where fine and overall really these are quite good for the small price you pay and they look clean and fit quite well too, battery life might be on the lower end of the norm but what you get for your money you can’t really give out at all. Check out the video review for more and how to operate the S12 earbuds and stay tuned for more real hands on tech reviews where stock images don’t cut it.
Looking for some cheap earbuds that are certainly ones that stand out with looks and colour well these might just be up your street and at a price of 25 euro they are pretty decent with sound at that price it must be said, for 25 euro you can pick up earbuds these days from your local petrol station and more but a known brand though? Not so much, Skullcandy are a well known brand and we have been testing their products for years and they are quite consistent. Having seen these advertised in LIDL last week we decided to go pick some up and check them out, the Skullcandy Dime launched back in March this year in other colour variants and interesting but these colours we just had to check out and go full hands on due to the Irishness involved here.. We are a fan of Skullcandy and their headphones are some of the best out there especially ones like the Skullcandy Crusher Evo one of their latest earbuds the Skullcandy Push Active IQ, just like all our reviews we go real hands on without the stock image no context approach and check out both pairs of these new additional colours so we can see what it is you get for your money which in this case is not much to shell out.
Build and design and looks
These are quite small earbuds and with big hands they might be a bit awkward to control, however there is a theme going on be it a cadbury creme egg wrapper or Lidl colours and a remote fob for a car they certainly stand out for me and you will get noticed with them on that is for sure, they are one of the smallest earbuds I have tried in some time. When I say they are small that they are, in fact the size of my thumb nail as you will see in the video, Big hands do get in my way sometimes and here is a fine example.
skullcandy dime in case techbuzzireland
Fit
Given the size of them they fit rather well and will not fall out you get extra tips in the box which is of course expected and a nice micro USB cable with a plastic end on the USB-A side rather than metal to charge them with they have a tiny stem which helps secure them that little bit more. You also get an IPX 4 rating thrown in.
Controls
You have the basics here and access to their app too which is limited, you can skip and reverse tracks, play and pause music and change the volume which is enough for most people and you can control calls.. There is one button on each earbud that controls the lot keeping it simple. However app access at this price point is unheard of even though there is little on offer it is something to take note of.
Sound
They sound decent enough for the price it has to be said and if it is your first pair of earbuds you can’t really go wrong in fairness, highs lows and mids fine no distortion on max volume and do not sound tinny they do a good job listening to music watching Netflix and more so you should be pleased with the audio experience. Distortion and a tinny sound is a key attribute at low priced earbuds but this is not the case here which is something to take note of.
skullcandy dime closed case
You could argue there is a novelty factor here due to the colorway but some folk like something different, there is no partnership here with LIDL or Cadbury and the colours just happen to be right for those companies but LIDL did have their own brand trainers before and if a company was to partner with the company it would cost a pretty penny taking away the price these are available for now but this is just one of those cases it is what it is and coincidence and nothing more but nonetheless a talking point for many and my inboxes on my social media has had some funny messages and also some of irrational thoughts which I will be sharing on Twitter soon for some fun and perhaps silence a few at the same time.
