How to Become Great at Sports Betting

Only a small percentage of sports gamblers are actually successful. Long-term sports wagering profit margins are exceedingly rare, according to statistics. You can only get so far with good fortune and rudimentary knowledge of the game of sports. Professional sports gamblers tend to have a few characteristics that set them apart from the rest of the group.

Here, we’ll discuss some of the characteristics of successful punters in more depth. Some of these traits may inspire you to improve your own performance in the future.

Excellent Spending Control

Professional sports gamblers also know how to manage their finances. In sports gambling, long-term success is difficult to come by unless you have good money management abilities. Putting too much money into a single wager might have a negative impact on your balance. This is a typical blunder made by those who wager for fun.

In order to become a good sports bettor, one must set tight money management rules for oneself and keep to them. A player’s overall bankroll will be determined by these financial planning lines. Professional sports bettors aim to gain money over the long term rather than risking everything on a single wager.

Playing and Using Parlay Bets

A professional bettor always has a good grasp on using the parlay bet! Parlay wagering has the advantage of allowing you to take a modest risk and transform it into a large reward. Because of the increased odds provided by many parlay legs, as we showed previously, you can transform $10 into $8.5 million. Wins from parlay bets are often the result of locking in the value of big favorites. The more fixtures you put together, the better your chances are. With the great number of new betting apps coming to the market, it’s always recommended to conduct some research and check credible sources like the list of best parlay betting apps for a better understanding of how to choose the right app that will suit your needs!

If you’re going to parlay bet, you’ll need a few “locks” to minimize your exposure to danger. Even if big favorites still can lose, it’s less probable that they would. If you’re playing minor parlays, you can afford to wager more money. It’s not a good idea to put down a large amount of money for a large parlay since you may miss the bet.

Sports Know-How

This might seem pretty obvious, but Sports bettors must have a thorough understanding of the sport in order to be successful. It’s nearly hard to become a successful sports bettor if you don’t have this ability.

Professional sports bettors have a greater understanding of how their wagers could be affected by their understanding of sports. These effective bettors are well-versed in the various variables that might affect the result of sporting events because of their extensive knowledge of the sports they wager on. Those who are more versed in sports can make better bets than those who are not.

Mathematical Competency

Putting money down on sporting events takes a lot of math. There is a wealth of information available, ranging from past results to current bookmaker’s odds. When it comes to sports wagering, it can be difficult to decipher all of the figures if you don’t have a strong background in arithmetic.

Professional sports bettors have a high level of arithmetic proficiency. ” They can swiftly decipher the sense of the information they have access to thanks to this collection of abilities. To assist them to decide on their bets, these sorts of bettors frequently do some heavy math. As a result, these bettors are able to swiftly examine and comprehend data in order to make quick and well-informed wagers.

Intense Emotional Regulation

High rollers are able to manage their emotions, whereas casual bettors are unable to do so. It’s upsetting that many casual bettors don’t comprehend this. Emotion regulation is more difficult to achieve than some of the other characteristics listed on our list of effective sports gamblers.

Inexperienced sports bettors are more likely than professional gamblers to succumb to their emotions. When it comes to sports wagering, if you’re a fan of the Green Bay Vikings, odds and analytics aren’t going to stop you from wagering on them. Professional sports bettors who also grew up in Green Bay Vikings fan families know when to put their allegiance to the Vikings on hold in favor of what is best for their bankroll.

Learning to keep one’s emotions under check is a challenge. A great sports bettor is one who is able to put their emotions aside and focus solely on the outcome of the game. It is all too often for emotions to come in the way of sensible wagering judgments that are simply based on evidence. Emotional control is an important skill to master in order to make better betting judgments based on facts rather than gut feelings.

Irish tech company, STATSports launch first ever GPS Women’s Sports Bra

Today, STATSports, the world’s leading company in GPS performance data, have launched their first ever Women’s GPS Sports Bra along with their new apparel wear.

The all-new seamless GPS quick dry bra is the industry’s first and will replace the standard unisex performance vest for women. STATSports were assisted in the development and testing of the product by Arsenal and Republic of Ireland star, Katie McCabe and England and Man City captain, Stephanie Houghton – both are ambassadors and investors of the brand.

The STATSports Apex pod, which measures athlete performance across 16 key metrics such as max speed, high speed running, high intensity distance, step balance, sprints, stress load and more, inserts into the bra without the need for the performance vest, reducing layers for female players.

The new design of the bra is longer in length which will provide extra security for females during training and matchdays. There are also removal cups for personal choice, adapting to cup size to ensure the right support is provided.

Katie McCabe, who sits top of the Women Super League this season, which has seen an increae of 5.9 million viewers in 2021, said: “It’s brilliant to have a new vest specifically for female players, as it’s another positive step for women’s football. STATSports has become essential to the way we train and play, so it’s vital that the kit to support the tech works for us.”

Stephanie Houghton, said: “I’ve been working closely with STATSports around the research and development of the new product, which is so important to feel comfortable when playing the sport. In particular, the soft quick dry yarn feels amazing next to the skin, acting as your base support layer. Football is all about marginal gains, and this product will help elevate players.”

Fellow STATSports ambassador and global soccer star, Megan Rapinoe added: “It is imperative for the brands that I work with to commit to improving women’s sports. Soccer is ever-evolving and it’s great to align with STATSports to develop the game.  We are proud to introduce our first women’s product, which players like myself, Alex Morgan, Stephanie Houghton and Katie McCabe have already put to the test.”

“Katie and Stephanie have been instrumental in the development of the new STATSports Women’s sports bra and we’re delighted to have them on our team. We want to ensure all players feel comfortable in our products, and so we felt that it was imperative to create a female specific holding device for the technology.” says Sean O’Connor, STATSports Co-Founder and COO.

The new apparel range consists of a unisex performance vest, designed by Liverpool player, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, ¼ drill top, short and long sleeve performance tees and a women’s drill top – the perfect last minute Christmas gifts for the athletes in the family.

Apps Bringing Sports Fans Closer to the Action

There is no shortage of ways in which the modern sports fan can follow their favorite athlete or team, whether it be on a traditional television set, in the media, or via their mobile phone. Indeed, it is the latter that has really revolutionized the way in which people consume their sport, able as they are to do everything from watch a live stream all the way through to subscribing to the news feeds of their favored journalist, who has all the inside scoops on team selections and injuries.

Part of this shift towards making professional sports more accessible than they have ever been is the proliferation of mobile apps, many of which use innovative ways of thinking to allow sports fans to get closer to the action than ever before; sometimes to the point that they feel like a part of the team. Here are just some of the types of app that are taking being a sports fan to a whole other level.

Apps are now at the forefront of providing sports fans and sports bettors with all the detailed information they could ever wish to have

Comparison Apps

One of the ways in which sports fans have been able to feel a part of the action is by having a vested interest in the games and contests they are watching. This can be achieved with things like fantasy sports apps, and sports betting apps. However, there are now so many of these sorts of apps that it can be tricky for some people to spot the difference between what is a good deal for them and what is most certainly a bad deal. That is where comparison apps and websites like OddsChecker come in, which work tirelessly to provide everything from the best Colorado free bets to the tastiest sign-up deals to be found for NBA and NFL odds providers. These apps also come in handy when it comes to the technical small print of some online promo deals, putting in plain English exactly how a free bet or a sign-up bonus works.

Live Streaming Apps

Perhaps the biggest sea change in the sports broadcasting arena this century has been the rise of live sports streaming services like DAZN and ESPN+ which have been disrupting an industry slow to adapt to new technologies. The benefit of such apps is that they run on cheap subscription models that provide incredible value for viewers. There are further benefits as well, as with these services people more easily able to stream content on their mobile devices. This lets viewers access highlights or even watch entire games, all at the click of a button. While cable television networks scramble to catch up, it seems only a matter of time before they are made obsolete by the new boys on the block.

Apps are now just as much a part of an athlete’s workout routine as they are a part of the matchday experience for fans all over the world

Apps That Get Fans Active

Being a sports fan is great fun, but it can sometimes mean being stationary for long periods of time. Thankfully, there are now apps out there that encourage the average sports enthusiast to take part in the sports they love rather than just being a passive bystander. This is most evidenced in the rise of apps like Strava and Zwift, both of which take their respective sports – athletics and cycling – and encourage people to build communities, better their personal best performances, and even compete against some of their sporting idols in the process.

Apps That Deliver Sports Journalism

Let’s face it, mainstream journalism is going down the pan, as hacks regurgitate what they read on social media and then pass it off as genuine reporting. That is where a new breed of sports journalism apps come in. The market leader in this regard is The Athletic, which delivers a bespoke service to fans of many sports and has lots of top writers working across its platform.

Tech Review – Actigun percussive massager. #Actigun #Sports #Health

Actigun is a personalized massage gun with an AI Chip installed -it is made for your physical needs and applicable to all your body parts. Once Actigun is started, the AI chip will react to the condition of your muscles and provide the exact percussive strength you need with a humanized-interactive experience. It comes with 4 and 6-speed settings, 20-gear controls, and 5-replaceable massage heads! This being my second such product I can see the rise in popularity with these.

This is an affordable option as there is many out there that can cost much more and there is two models available from the company this being the cheapest option and they are ideal for those into sports percussive massagers which can be great for recovery and maintaining their health. Packed in a nice case too all the fittings you need are present and the battery life on the unit is pretty decent too and it is simple to use with no tech knowledge to get it going with just a power on/off switch with a touch sensitive digital display on top. I have had comments like it looks like a hairdryer or speed gun but this has been said about the previous one I tested and it is what it is for now with the design and there is always some form of tech that looks like something being honest and will be labelled.

This is well built and solid with a matt finish and grippy rubber so you will not let it drop and if you do I would say it will take a beating anyway it is robust all round.

Depending on your needs there is several pieces in the case that can help you out and pretty much everything is covered from the get go. I am no massage gun expert but from trying two models you can feel the benefits it must be said after not using one until now I can see and feel a difference and the benefit these products offer the user. As mentioned there is two options available and there is cheaper out there so I cant compare to those just now as it would be unfair but it is not a bad price to pay but there is more expensive ones and being honest it is hard to tell just what the differences is between those and the two I have tried unless I test them personally but for your money hear you cant really complain.

What do you get in the case

6 MASSAGE HEADS INCLUDED
M & L Ball Head for bigger muscle groups, like arms, thighs, back, buttocks and calves.
U-Shaped Head for massaging the neck, spine, and Achilles.
Rubble Gas Head for all parts of the body.

How Have Mobile Apps Changed The Way We Bet On Sports

There are mobile apps for everything these days, and for the majority of people, they rarely go a day without using them. The sports betting industry, in particular, has seen a massive surge in recent years of punters preferring to have a flutter on the go. This article takes a look at the most popular types of betting apps and how they’ve changed the way modern customers wager on sports.

Horse Racing Betting Apps

Alongside football, horse racing is the most popular sport for betting in the UK. The majority of horse racing betting apps, which you can find if you go to horseracingbetting.co.uk, are integrated into the bookmaker’s full sportsbook. However, there are a couple of dedicated apps now available purely for racing enthusiasts.

Sports Betting Apps

Sports betting apps provide punters with thousands of betting opportunities at their fingertips. They offer dozens of sports, with events coming from all over the globe. Previously, these apps were viewed as an optional extra as most online bettors tended to use PCs and laptops, but that isn’t the case anymore. This shift in consumer behaviour has led to the leading betting sites putting more emphasis on improving the user experience for mobile punters.

Benefits of Mobile Betting Apps

Every bettor is an individual, and they value the benefits of mobile betting apps independently. However, here are some of the advantages we associate with these apps, and by default, it’s altered the way thousands of people bet on their favourite sports and racing events.

Convenience

Rarely are we without our phones. They go with us everywhere – many even take them to the toilet, which highlights how attached we have become to these devices. The benefit of this from a sports betting perspective is that punters never have to miss a great betting opportunity. As long as you have an internet connection, you can have a flutter whenever and wherever you choose. This convenience and freedom are what many punters crave.

Sociable

All high street betting shops have their regular crowd. These punters mainly bet on horse racing and greyhounds because there are races every day, which normally start in the late morning and run through until the afternoon. The regulars will often share tips and predictions with one another and watch the action on the TV screens. It is a sociable experience as you are enjoying this pastime with others who also share the same interest.

Online betting at home on a computer eroded the social aspect of having a punt. It became sterile and solitary. For most bettors, myself included, much of the enjoyment of betting is sharing the highs and lows with others. This component is not present when sat at home in the corner of your living room.

Mobile betting apps have helped reintroduce this social side as many customers place their bets while out with friends. With live betting, you can be in the pub watching a game with your mates and chat about what bets to place for the second half. You may decide to all chip in on a punt. Apps have made betting fun and friendly, which is how it should be.

Additional features

Although the fundamentals of placing a bet haven’t changed, betting operators now focus on the user experience. This is understandable because punters in the UK can choose between 50 – 100 licensed betting sites, and it only takes a couple of minutes to create an account.

Betting apps are at the forefront of this new and improved customer experience as they offer several additional perks compared to regular online betting via a PC.

  • Tailored alerts – most betting apps allow users to set alerts. These can be messages about their bets or general sports alerts, such as a goal being scored in a specific football match.
  • Personalised displays – if you’re only interested in one particular sport, you can customise the display to show what matters to you, which makes finding the right bets easier and faster.
  • Extra form guides – the amount of data now available for sports bettors and horse racing punters is phenomenal and the latest betting apps have it all ready at the tap of a button.
  • My teams / horses – several apps have features where customers can create lists of their favourite football teams and virtual stables for their favourite horses. They then receive updates about when the teams/horses are in action, and what betting odds you can get.
  • Push notifications – a huge advantage that betting apps have is push notifications. Customers can set these in the preferences settings of the application so that they receive real-time updates directly to their device. The type of notifications includes new bonuses and promotions, price alerts, odds boosts, and live scores.

How does the latest technology affect the sports betting industry .

Even though some people don’t like any of the modern techs, we can’t deny that they have a massive impact on our everyday lives. The technology boom that took place in the last couple of years helped us stay connected to the people we care about, play games on the go, and do all sorts of other things. Naturally, it also had a massive effect on the iGaming industry, which became more advanced than ever before.

Whether we bet on sports or play casino games, we have access to all sorts of things that were not available a few years ago. Let’s check out some of the things that we have the chance to try out, thanks to all of the technological innovations.

We can place bets on live events

One of the reasons why so many people want to bet online is because they can wager on live sports events. If you read this review of Cbet, you will see that this is one of the many bookies that allows users to punt on matches that have already started. This means that you will get the chance to wager on your favorite team or player, even if you couldn’t place a pre-match bet.

Some betting websites have more advanced live betting sections than others, but most bookies will provide you with more than enough things to pick from. Don’t forget that live betting allows users to access different markets that may not be available in the regular betting section.

Some online bookies have a live-streaming feature

Ever since the internet became more stable, live streaming has become way more popular than it once was. Needless to say, this fantastic technology found its way into the online betting industry, which is why you shouldn’t be surprised that Cbet gives you the chance to watch some of the events you bet on.

Even though this is one of the fan-favorite betting features, many gambling operators are yet to add it to their portfolio. Therefore, you may have to find a different live streaming platform if you want to watch a specific event.

We can bet on the go

Smartphones and tablets are among the devices that had the biggest impact on our lives in the last couple of years. Although there are people who don’t use them that often, most of our friends probably don’t fall into this category.

As expected, gambling operators decided to take full advantage of those things, which is why they provide their clients with mobile applications and mobile-optimized websites. Usually, both things offer the same betting sections, categories, and features, but some online bookies give their app users more options to choose from.

One of the important things that you should keep in mind about betting on the go is that you may not always have the chance to access every section. Some gambling operators focus on those things that bring them more clients, so you may only have the option to punt on sports or play casino games.
