Tech Review – GravaStar Mars Pro bluetooth speaker

Here on techbuzz we review lots of speakers that come in all shapes and sizes however the theme is pretty much the same which is just a standard square or circular type speaker just plain run of the mill stuff, this speaker however is different and by that I mean the design the shape the build quality and there is some RGB lights thrown into the mix too and not only that it has legs that change position.

OK the legs changing position may not be a huge plus side but in this case it is due to the theme here and overall the speaker looks super cool even as a piece in your room and to look at it first you may not think anymore of it in fairness but upon closer inspection you will see why this is different and then it will become an attraction if you will.

On top you have a volume control slider with a difference too as it uses touch to control it and then three physical buttons to power on/off in which you get a nice audio tune to go along with both which sounds cool and you have a button for pairing and then one for the RGB lights which are placed around the unit, you will see all this demoed in the review along with the audio

Speaking of audio it is bass heavy which suits me fine as I like my bass to be heavy so for some it may not be their cup of tea but again this can be tweaked with EQs on phones today. It does easily cover a large room and sounds cool and it is loud and punchy too so far any music fan it is a must.

The build quality is also excellent too and as the company states Mars Pro’s cutting-edge technology means you can feel the heavy bass at both low and loud volumes. The Bluetooth speaker gives you an ultra-powerful bass that sends vibrations through its sphere and into the room.

Tech Review – Urbanista SEOUL gaming earbuds

We are now seeing more earbud manufacturers delivering gaming earbuds which is a good thing but for gaming my main go-to are headphones but this has changed recently having tested some earbuds aimed for gamers and this is one pair that can easily be recommended too and a good move from Urbanista.

On that note though these are excellent for music too and with their app that has got more to offer than it did on the Solar powered Los Angeles headphones they offer the consumer a great product to get enhanced in either music or gaming due to the 70ms latency touted on the box cover and from testing whilst gaming they do deliver and this is a good thing and they are also very affordable.

These are also small earbuds with a stem and are clean and come in a range of nice colours too which again is a good thing for the consumer giving them some choice they have a secure fit giving decent passive noise isolation once you have applied the right tips which you should do every time you get new earbuds.

The controls work well and with the app you can also customise these to suit your needs and we go through all this in the video review below so you don’t have to. There is a small area to touch but like any earbud this size time will sort you out on muscle memory and you will be a pro like your gaming is hopefully in no time.

On the gaming front you do have a normal mode and gaming mode to toggle between and the earbuds shine with both, great bass to be heard here highs lows and mids are fine and you also have more options in the app to toy around with to get your desired soundstage.

Overall these are a great pair of earbuds for the music lover and gamer giving them a hybrid approach and their first go at this has been executed really well plus you get an app which for me is always a bonus and gives that bit more confidence in the brand.

The presentation is great and you get a great hard backed zipper case with it and a tripod so for travelling this is ideal and you can keep all your bits together which is handy and also protect them. Tech Review – Official Google Pixel 6a case

it is a case we know what they are like but here is the Google Pixel 6a case in all its glory, simple and to the point an own brand case is always a good thing and this case is clean, thin and does the job out of the box which is what I want when I buy a new phone this case is not the denim type we have seen before but one from the last device the 6 and 6 pro which came in several colours.

This has that smokey effect and is thin, all ports are accessible and it looks nice on the phone and also gives you addition grip which is great, the Pixel 6a is not a behemoth like the 6 and 6 pro which are heavier phones so this case does a good job offer protection out of the gate. The clean simple style might not be everyone’s taste but it is what it is and for me will do the job and more cases will of course land with us soon.

Tech Review – Snakehive Metro Leather Case and Magsafe Cardholder

Need some new ideas to spruce things up on your Galaxy S22 Ultra or iPhone Snakehive has some options for you tp try out and they are really good quality built products, We have the Metro case for the Galaxy S22 Ultra and the Metro Magsafe Cardholder here to check out.

Starting with the case it is a two tone affair with premium leather and it also has a metal kickstand to consume media so no need to take the device out of the case at all, it also works with wireless charging too and it does look the part and you can also customize them too which is an added bonus, this case also add additional grip and can be placed either face or rear down and be safe from getting the screen damaged and the camera array is also protected on the rear too and overall it does look really premium and is no my main case for said phone. Metro Magsafe cardholder

Another nice product sent to us was this really cool cardholder one that is not made with plastic or metal but again premium leather, it sit nicely on the back of your device too and can hold up to three cards comfortably too, this is one of the thinnest cardholders I have tested out and again has that two tone effect which looks really well and does not just drop off easily like some can, see the video below for more on this, unfortunately I have moved on my iPhone but we can still get an idea what it looks like and will look well on my iPhone Pro later this year. Tech Review – Tronsmart Groove 2 Waterproof Outdoor Bluetooth Speaker

It is well into the Summer season now and from what we can see is people are now travelling again going to concerts, camping, going on holidays or doing a staycation so for this you will need a decent affordable speaker to blast those tunes out and the new Groove 3 from Tronsmart might be up your street, we are no stranger her to tech from Tronsmart and are big fans and their latest speaker gives you more than good sound from their latest speaker which is small and portable.

The Groove 2 speaker is also IPX7 rated so this means it can go to your camping site, the beach a picnic or more and it is also very robust too with a nice finish on it, it also has the option to hang it from anywhere with the carabiner clip built in so it does not have to lay on a flat surface, either way you will enjoy the sound coming from this speaker given its size.

It has got a super sturdy build quality and housing wrapped with rubber edges and buttons up top that are raised and control the functions really easy, there is also a trip mount on the underside so it makes the speaker super portable, But there is more, we have RGB lights thrown into the mix to and this gives it some additional flair and makes it not boring like some portable speakers can be and they light effects look really well too.

When it comes to sound it does pack a punch and it has some bass, there is no app access here which would have been nice so hopefully they start adding their speakers to their app later on as their app is actually one of the better ones out there today and would be a real sweetener for the consumer but all is not bad regardless, the speaker is loud it is punchy it has bass and plays music quite well and easily fills a large room anyway.

The controls on top are simple to use and you can also use our phone too, there is also the option to put a micro sd card in which is really cool and now a common feature with Tronsmart and their speakers.

The sound though is what everyone wants to know about in these reviews and it is good, check out the unboxing and video samples below and you be the judge, the speaker packs a punch in a large room, even better in a smaller room and you will be surprised by the punch it packs and the light effects make it an excellent speaker to have at your disposal and let people be surprised by the sound that pops from it alongside the lights which is a thing these days and people will be impressed. The Chipolo CARD looks like a typical credit card, albeit slightly thicker with the Chipolo logo printed on the black ish card.  This model supplied is for iPhone & iPad. Overall:

The Chipolo CARD Spot is easy to set up, and works as required when the card is misplaced with a Ring option to find the card locally, alternative if leaving the house this can be set to “Be Alerted” which warns should you leave without the card in your possession, in the event the card is lost the card can be tracked to where the card was seen last,  Crowd surfing can also be used to find the card. A slight niggle on the product on the “BATTERY LIFE: Up to 2 years, Renew & Recycle program available” is positive but I would prefer the option to change the battery locally rather than like changing a watch battery.

In the event, your wallet or property is lost this may be the best purchase of the year, well worth the extra insurance of having a tracker.

Tech Review – FiiTii HiFiPods from MIFO

Recently here we tested out the mifo MIFO active S earbuds which are one of my favourite earbuds to date this year, well these boys are from the same company and are aimed at a different user and the company does this well with how they sound and look, however one might look at how a product is targeted this does not mean you don’t want or need them but it is how things work today and with these earbuds they are almost twice the size of the MIFO ones and a different design too which is cool by the way and overall a bigger profile and this allows for some more inside.

Th HiFiPods offer up to 70 hours battery life which is fantastic considering some headphones cant reach that even today and with their presentation too they are new brand to watch out for in my opinion. Just look at the case, it is again another cool unseen design with metal and not plastic it is just cool.

The profile is bigger as mentioned however they have a unique design and finish that stands out in the crowd which for me is a good thing, they might be too big for some and that is a standard thing these days with design elements, once fitted with the correct tips though there is great passive noise isolation straight away as there is again no app here which is fine.

These are easy to control too, the same as the previous pair we tested and of course we go through this in the video review below and overall they are quite good and consistent given their size.

The sound though is what you want to know about and these sounded brighter than the MIFO, with no app there is no option to change the sound or features however they sound good, the ANC is decent but not the best in the world and you cant access your voice assistant but I can live with this and I am sure many others can. Highs can be hard to pick out lows and mids are fine and there is some bass however not strong so overall a quite middle tone experience or bright, for videos and gaming you have latency options but there was some lag playing games from time to time but this is minute and hardly noticeable to the untrained ear and lets not forget the aptX support.

Calls are find you have a mild noise cancelling’/ ANC off setting and the ANC on and Transparency mode it still does pick up a bit of wind but the quality is fine here.

Battery life is excellent lets not mess around here it will however depend on the settings used  but for the most it is hitting the near 70 hour claim they make..

Overall they are good but the price might be a but hefty for some given they look great and come with a super cool case there is room for those to rightly claim the price is too much and missing an app but that is the earbud market today and design of features might suit some over others but the choice is yours at the end of the day.
