Tech Review – Soundynamic Vibe RGB speakers

Bluetooth speakers come in all shapes and sizes and there is speakers to suit all pockets and for the most they are simple products to use and get a party going, We have reviewed the most bluetooth speakers here in Ireland and like to see what is new on the market and the latest ones in for testing is the Soundynamic Vibe inspired by a jellyfish which you will get to understand and see more of below and in our hands on video review.

The presentation of the product is also excellent here and is an important start for me with any new product on the market and they come secured with ties in the box too which is something you do not see every day. The packaging is nicely designed and you get your extra cables inside and all good to go once you get them fully charged and then get moving on to their app which is quite cool and gives you plenty of options to customise them and also there is an EQ built in too so overall a great start with a nice looking product and good app to back it up.

The App

As from the screenshots from the App below you can see it has a simple UI and it is easy to navigate, again we demo this in the video review below its simple to use and any adjustments can be seen almost immediately on the speaker or speakers depending on your personal setup.

You can change the colours tone volume and EQ within the app and add colours or use the templates inside the app it is good to spend some time and see what there is in the app to see all the features provided which allows you to take control and the effects are cool and basically the lights will dance to the tunes you play from your laptop pc tablet or mobile phone.Vibe can pair to 99% devices in the market with bluetooth 5.0. Easily pick up calls and speak to the built-in Mic with your friends and families.

This pint-sized enclosure is packed with more technology than meets the eye. A 1.75 in. full-range speaker. Dual-vibrating diaphragms. All of which simply means you’ll get lifelike sound … Prepare to be captured by Vibe’s presence sense.Stainless steel cylinder shape makes you can’t help grabbing it. Understanding the Basics of Mobile App Development

If you’re thinking about developing a mobile app, it’s important to understand the basics of the process. In this blog post, we’ll cover some essential information on mobile app development, including what you need to get started and what to expect along the way. You can also learn how to find a startup app development agency to help you with mobile development. Whether you’re new to app development or have some experience under your belt, this post will give you a good foundation for creating successful apps. So let’s dive in!

What Is Mobile App Development?

Mobile app development refers to the process of designing and creating dedicated applications, or apps, specifically intended for use on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. Although the actual development process may vary depending on the specific project, it typically begins with creating a detailed plan for design and cost feasibility, followed by programming and testing phases before publishing. The advantages of mobile app development are plentiful; users now have access to a vast array of helpful apps requiring only consent from their respective computing platforms and minimal download time. Developing mobile apps not only contributes to convenience but also works to improve and streamline various processes from management across multiple disciplines, making them incredibly valuable tools. Plus, with app development consulting services, it’s possible to create a personalized app that caters to the needs of your business or organization. It’s also worth noting that many mobile app development companies offer conversion services to make existing websites compatible with mobile devices.

How To Develop A Mobile App

Developing a mobile app isn’t as complicated as it may sound. It all starts with an idea that you want to bring to life and materialize into an application. The real work begins when you need to design the visual components and write the underlying code that’s needed for the app to function correctly. This is where the coding experience comes in handy, ensuring any errors are caught before testing begins. After extensive testing, you can be confident that your app runs smoothly and fulfills its purpose of entertaining or providing convenience to users. With these steps in mind, anyone can harness their imaginative ideas into tangible mobile applications with proper knowledge of the tech involved! When developing an app, it’s important to make sure you’re staying up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies. Also, It’s essential to consider what platform your app will be built for. Different devices have different operating systems, so your app needs to be designed accordingly.

How Much Does It Cost

Developing an app can be a complicated and costly process with no one-size-fits-all answer. Depending on the complexity of your app and the amount of effort you’re willing to put into it, the cost of creating a mobile app can range from as little as a few hundred dollars to more than $100,000 or more. It is important to remember that there are many different components involved in successful coding, design, and development – from ideation costs to server fees – so it is best to work with experienced professionals who understand your budget and goals. With the right team on board, it is possible to create an effective, powerful mobile app on any budget. If you’re looking to develop a mobile app but are not sure where to start, consider consulting professionals who specialize in the design and development of mobile applications. A reliable team will be able to create an app that meets your needs while staying within your budget.

The Different Types Of Mobile Apps

Did you know that the mobile app development industry has grown exponentially over the past few years? Did you also know that this growth is thanks to the different types of mobile apps – native, web, and hybrid – available to users? Native applications are developed specifically for one type of platform, such as iOS or Android. Web applications are accessible through a web browser and run on remote servers. Hybrid applications run inside a native container and combine features from both web and native apps. With the ever-growing popularity of mobile devices, these different types of mobile apps are becoming more commonplace – providing us with convenient access to all kinds of content and activities.

How To Choose

When it comes to deciding which app development service is the best option for your business needs, the choice can be confusing. There are three primary types of services available: native app development, web app development, and hybrid app development. Each type has strengths and weaknesses, so you’ll want to consider how data will be managed, how user interface design should be handled, and if essential features can be supported. The type of service that’s right for you will depend greatly on your project’s requirements, budget constraints as well as platform target users. It’s important to do thorough research when deciding which type of development services are best suited for your business needs.

App Store Optimization Tips

If you’re developing a mobile app, chances are you need to optimize it for the app store so it can reach the right audience and get more downloads. App store optimization (ASO) may seem daunting—there’s no guarantee that your efforts will increase downloads—but understanding the basics and knowing which tips to use can give your app a leg up in an increasingly competitive field. Conducting market research is a great place to start: focus on who your potential users are and what features they need in order to persuade them to download. After that, it’s all about building effective relationships with users, optimizing keywords, leveraging third-party resources, maintaining high ratings and reviews, using visuals that are both visually appealing and functional, and continuing to track page metrics like page views and conversions. With some dedication and creativity, success in the app store isn’t out of reach for anyone!

In conclusion, developing a mobile app is a complex process that involves many different components. It’s important to understand the different types of apps and how to choose the right service for your project. Additionally, you should familiarize yourself with tips on how to optimize your app in order to get more downloads and reach the right audience. With proper planning, research, and dedication, your mobile app can be successful in no time.

Dublin Discovery Trails is a new first of its kind Augmented Reality app shows Dublin as you’ve never seen it before!

Dublin City Council (DCC) today launched Dublin Discovery Trails – ‘Doors into Docklands’, the first in a series of mobile application (app) based immersive discovery trails with innovative Augmented Reality (AR).  The App, which has been co funded by Dublin City Council and Fáilte Ireland through its Destination Town Investment Scheme, will help to further unlock the tourism potential of the Docklands by bringing the area and its story to life for visitors in a new and immersive way.

This App is an innovative way to see the history of the Docklands come to life through Augmented Reality which combines the real-world history with smart technology. This app merges the old and the new, combining history and technology, and will guide the user in their own time on a journey of discovery to some of the Docklands most loved sites and attractions, enabling them to uncover compelling stories of Dublin’s culture, heritage and history via Augmented Reality (AR) technology.

You can experience the Guinness barges sailing down the River Liffey, to the Crimean Banquet held in the CHQ and the story of the famine statues.  Along the trail you can see the ‘history come to life’ with a 360-degree view of the Custom House fires blazing in 1921, the Scherzer Bridges in 2d animation and Port workers in the Diving Bell toiling at the bottom of the sea. You will also meet many Augmented Reality characters telling their stories from Captain Bligh who surveyed Dublin Bay in the 1800’s to Maggie Doyle telling her tale as a Docker’s daughter.

Caroline Conroy, Lord Mayor of Dublin, launching this exciting new app, said: “This is amazing technology, bringing a part of Dublin alive that most of us have never seen! It’s really exciting innovation and as Lord Mayor, I’m proud to see Dublin at the forefront of smart tourism technology joining the past and the future together. How Can You Develop An App With Vue.js?

There are several platforms available nowadays; consequently, developing native mobile applications for each of them is both time-consuming and costly. Cross-platform development will be the greatest answer for anybody looking for a less expensive and faster solution.

Historically, cross-platform apps were inefficient and buggy. However, things have changed recently. React Native, created by Facebook, was a game changer. It allowed developers to create high-quality cross-platform programs quickly and easily. The success of React Native has inspired many others to build their own tools for developing cross-platform applications.

Vue.js is now one of the most well-known JavaScript frameworks. It has grown in popularity among newcomers to JavaScript front end programming due to its ease of use. However, front-end developers have encountered a key disadvantage with Vue.js, which is the inability to use it to create mobile applications. That has changed with the introduction of Vue Native. This article will discuss developing apps on top of this framework.

What Exactly is Vue Native?

Vue Native is a “mobile framework,” as every Vue js dev refers to it. It’s used to create mobile applications that leverage the Vue.js framework language. Vue Native is, to put it simply, the framework on which your project will be developed. The “materials” from which we will create all of the associated pieces are represented by Vuejs mobile.

When discussing app development, the term “native” refers to the operating system on which the program is supposed to function. Whereas cross-platform software can run on Android, iOS, and the web, native software can only run one at a time. This is advantageous since it enables the program to operate significantly quicker. However, it does provide some challenges. Speaking of speed, Vue Native’s popularity is partly due to the enormous amount of time it saves by enabling user interface components to be reused for each operating system.

How to Create Mobile Apps using Vue.js

We can create mobile applications using Vue.js and the Vue native and capacitor frameworks. When it comes to bundling Vue code into a mobile app, these two frameworks use distinct techniques. A capacitor is a framework that embeds a WebView component in an Android or iOS mobile app and renders HTML and CSS inside it. On the other side, Vue-Native converts Vue components into native mobile code for each platform. Both systems have advantages and disadvantages, and the choice to choose either must be based on personal preferences.

How to Create Mobile Apps with Vue Native

Vue Native was inspired by React Native and was included in the React-Vue compilation. Vue JS developers may create applications using the natively given rich UI components. Because the code is eventually turned into native Android or iOS code, this native framework aids in the development of lightweight applications. Vue native has a plethora of APIs and components, as well as access to device APIs such as the camera and the native share component. It should be noted that Vue native does not build to HTML. It builds mobile components using the Vue framework that can be mapped to native components in each mobile environment. The documentation and resources for React native may also be used to understand a substantial portion of Vue native.

There is also an option worthy of your attention – hybrid app development, which allows you to develop applications that are basically online apps wrapped in a native app shell.

Vue Native Features

Reusable User Interface Components

Component reusability is one of the most effective techniques to save development time. Individual components may be flexibly adapted to function across several systems.

Reusable user interface components reduce the time required to create templates and designs, providing developers with more time to apply business logic.

Syntactical Structure

NativeScript is admired by software developers for its clarity and brevity since it allows them to write code that is readily understandable. Single instructions may be expressed in a number of ways using the framework.

This JS framework aims to offer more dynamism and simplicity to code, making it simpler to understand. Similarly, Vue.js aims to be efficient without being too complicated. Vue.js also has laconism, which enables users to develop complex software without having to write extensive code.

Binding in Two Ways

With a v-model directive, Vue Native allows two-way binding. Any changes to the data are instantaneously propagated to the output, avoiding the need to build extra logic.

Changes to the model are immediately reflected in the user interface. When the UI is refreshed, the model is updated as well. This method shortens the time it takes for a modified UI element to render.

Conclusion

In this post, we discussed the main features of Vue.js and how it can be used to create mobile apps. Hire Vue developers may leverage NativeScript to build versatile and scalable mobile applications that can run on several platforms with the same code.

Deliveroo Ireland announces a year-long partnership with FoodCloud – it is using its technology to enable customers to add a round-up donation to the charity while ordering food in-app.

Deliveroo Ireland has today announced a year-long partnership with FoodCloud – which will see the food delivery company fundraise on behalf of the food waste and food security social enterprise who were recently named Charity of The Year for their work redistributing surplus food to their network of charities across the country.

As part of its Full Life campaign, Deliveroo is enabling customers to add a round-up donation to their in-app food orders, with all proceeds going to FoodCloud to tackle the twin issues of food waste and food insecurity.  Deliveroo, with their customers, will raise funds to provide up to 500,000 meals, which will be distributed to FoodCloud’s network of more than 600 charities and community groups over the course of 2023.

This partnership comes as new research from Deliveroo reveals that people in Ireland remain generous givers to charity despite the cost of living crisis – only 22% would consider cutting back on charitable giving to save money. The Irish public are more likely to spend less on clothing (49%), leisure activities (40%) and travelling by car (32%) to save money. In addition, 1 in 3 (33%) of the Irish public would be more likely to donate to charity if they were presented with a simpler, more convenient, way to make a donation. Donating through the Deliveroo app couldn’t be easier – Deliveroo customers need only to round-up their order to the nearest euro when paying for their takeaway or groceries. For every €1 raised, 3.2 meals will be provided to people facing food insecurity.

Through the partnership, Deliveroo is aiming to save 210 million tonnes of food from going to waste, which will prevent 675 tonnes of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere and damaging the environment in the process. With sustainability being a priority at Deliveroo,  the company is committed to playing a role in reducing food waste.

Working with Deliveroo to raise awareness of the partnership, TV presenter and food influencer, James Kavanagh commented:  It’s no secret that I’m pretty obsessed with food, so I am really pleased to play a role in raising awareness of the amazing partnership between FoodCloud and Deliveroo. This campaign will stop good quality surplus food from going to waste and help so many people who are struggling, which has never been more important. It’s so easy to support through the Deliveroo app – just a few cents will make such a difference, so next time you place an order, remember to round-up to make a donation!

Partnering with FoodCloud marks the next phase of Deliveroo’s Full Life campaign and its longstanding commitment to supporting local communities, following the company providing thousands of meals to people in need through a partnership with the Dublin Simon Community last year and its work to raise awareness of the Women’s Aid helpline working with the Deliveroo rider fleet.

Paddy Quinlan, Senior Regional Manager, Deliveroo Ireland commented: “Since we launched in 2015, Deliveroo Ireland has worked hard to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we operate. We are proud to be building on what’s been achieved so far and our partnership with FoodCloud, one of the most impactful charities around, will provide thousands of meals to those in need across Ireland.”

Iseult Ward, CEO & Co-Founder, FoodCloud said:  “We are delighted to partner with Deliveroo on its Full Life Campaign, an initiative on their platform to raise awareness on the twin issues of food waste and food insecurity that enables customers to make a donation to support our work. Investing in our work to redistribute food that might otherwise go to waste, ensures good food gets to people and families at a time when they are facing unprecedented levels or economic hardship while protecting our planet and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.”

The round-up charity function in the Deliveroo app can be found when customers go to pay for their order. Customers can round-up their order to the nearest euro. For more information on the round-up function and the Deliveroo Full Life campaign, head to: https://deliveroo.ie/more/full-life-ireland.

FREE NOW Europe is the is the first private mobility platform to integrate public transport tickets into its app

FREE NOW, Europe’s  Mobility Super App, announces at the Web Summit 2022 a major milestone: users can now book public transport services through its app as well as taxis, private cars, eScooters, eBikes, eMopeds, and carsharing. As a result, FREE NOW offers all modes of transport from a single source, strengthening its position as Europe’s leading mobility platform with the largest amount of travel options in one app.

The first cooperation enabling access to public transport via the FREE NOW app was signed with Rheinbahn in Germany. FREE NOW users will be able to book tickets for buses, trams, and underground trains directly in the FREE NOW app for all tariff zones of the Rhine-Ruhr Public Transport Association (VRR). The integration completes FREE NOW’s offering of on-demand mobility in one of Germany’s most important metropolitan regions. In fact, with almost 1,100 lines, around 7.8 million inhabitants, and an area of around 7,300 square kilometers, the cooperation with FREE NOW provides access to Europe’s biggest transport network and the largest urban transport area. That includes major German cities like Düsseldorf, Dortmund, Essen, Bochum, Wuppertal, and Duisburg.

To begin with, users will be able to buy single tickets, day passes, and 48-hour passes. The technical integration has already begun. The ticket sales are possible thanks to a partnership with the Dutch aggregator Tranzer.

Further partnerships with other transport companies in Germany and across Europe are planned for 2023.

FREE NOW: Having expanded since 2020, this public transport integration completes urban mobility offering

FREE NOW has continuously expanded its own mobility offering for its users since 2020, in partnership with leading mobility players in Germany and Europe. Through this, the FREE NOW app brings together more than 400,000 vehicles in Europe. This consists of  ride-hailing services like taxis and private cars, as well as carsharing, eScooters, eMopeds, and eBikes.

Thomas Zimmermann, CEO at FREE NOW, comments on the new partnership: “We’re pleased that we’re now the first private mobility platform to be able to offer our users public transport tickets in the biggest population and the largest urban transport area in Europe. This is an important next stage for us and, for the first time, we’re enabling end-to-end ticketing for different modes of transport in our app. Linking different mobility offers is crucial to succeed in transforming transportation in Europe. FREE NOW actively supports this as a partner of public transport. Our goal is to make urban mobility in Europe more sustainable, intelligent, and interconnected.”

Commenting on the announcement Niall Carson, General Manager for FREE NOW Ireland said, “The integration of public transport into the FREE NOW app in Germany is a key milestone for the business, and reflective of our ambitions to make multi-modal approaches to transport more accessible across the markets in which we operate. Our goal in Ireland is to mirror the multi-modal progress of our European counterparts like Germany moving forward – building on our first integration of micro-mobility in the Irish market this year with our TIER eBike partnership in Dublin. We intend to continue expanding our offering and transport solutions with eScooters on the horizon along with other mobility options, helping to support a shift in our national approach to daily transport – from car-centric to multi-modal, flexible and sustainable.

The new travel option is primarily aimed at remote workers who only travel to their place of work occasionally, as well as business travellers or tourists. For example, almost 30% of all FREE NOW passengers use the app in cities they travel to occasionally. As a platform that’s active across Europe, the company can  contribute to strengthening both public transport and the environmental alliance in the long term.

FREE NOW users do not need to create a new account to book and pay for public transport. They can simply use their existing customer account.
