Review – Mozo – Back cover for the Microsoft Lumia 650. #Mozo

The good guys over at Mozo have sent us over some cases to check out for the Microsoft Lumia 650 which is the latest device on offer from Microsoft and these cases really are nice compared to what comes on the device I must say. Mozo are based in Helsinki Finland who design and develop mobile accessories and more,they are also selected as an official partner of Microsoft.

This is the back cover for the Microsoft Lumia 650 which is quite nice and looks well indeed adding some extra grip,feels much better to hold in the hand with chamfered edges to boot. Overall this case looks much better than the stock cover and sports all the cutouts required,the only difference being there is no Microsoft logo on the back and the hump which covers the camera area is actually slightly raised more giving it that bit more protection.

The Mozo leather case for the Microsoft Lumia 650 is up next and this is a really nice touch indeed,covering the entire device not adding much bulk either it looks and feels well leaving all ports accessible such as Micro USB and  3.5mm headphone socket so its a case than can be left on folks. The case itself has a nice leather finish with stitching surrounding the edges gives it a nice look,there is also a magnet to hold it close which is secure and not in the way either,the cut-out on the rear for the camera and flash area is also on point and protects that all important lens and flash.The case comes with built in NFC and works perfectly as we will show you in video,so there is nothing to worry about here. Next up in the Samsung S7 series review is the leather pouch from Noreve. The pouch is not for everyone yet it is stylish and looks well,immediate access to your device is however restricted,as I said these type of cases are not for all but they are popular enough in general and not picking on the S7 here. The case is well made,robust and gives that bit of extra grip,should you let the pouch fall your device will be safe from initial testing here in-house.Check out the image gallery and video review below for more thoughts and do comment below if any questions are required. This case from Noreve is a fold over design which has nice looks and adds additional grip when holding when not in use,The Noreve logo is once again embedded onto the front of the case and inside the logo is also embedded into the lining,The S7 Edge is a big device and this particular case will add a slight bit of thickness to the phone and when opened it might be just too much for some,nonetheless its nice,protects the phone and looks well,should you drop the phone you will be also fine with the device entirely surrounded and a nice fitting clasp to keep the case shut,As always you can customise the case to your requirements and there is plenty of options available,check out the image gallery and video review below for more and see link at tend of post for all the options available to you..

Premium looking with a not so premium price comfort is something also present here as well as durability,with up to 7 hours playback and 180hrs standby time you will easily get plenty of time between charges,depending on user. With one side (the right) housing all the functions they are easy to find and manage and again simple to use,the package will contain a user guide,3.5mm cable and USB-Micro USB cable for charging the headphones either via wall plug or PC. Also included is a carry bag which has a nice texture to it..

Review – UAG Magma case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. #UAG

Today our UAG case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge arrived in Magma red and this colour is quite nice indeed. The case just takes a second to install and you are better off straight away than being caseless. Some folk prefer the naked feel to their device and the 7 edge does feel nice in the hand to hold but protection is something you should always consider due to the high cost of these phones and again if you damage your screen you are talking a big bill here. Nope not for a while yet,With most of us now sporting smartphones we have sat-nav built in and an array of choices of apps to use such as HERE,Google and TomTom mapping apps and we are more custom to those today than what may come pre-installed in a vehicle or again standalone sat-nav units. I tend to ignore the standalone because the ones we can freely download and use are more than enough to get what we want be it directions or just searching for a business or address..

Priced now at €16.49 this is a good solid unit and comes with a two year warranty which is good for piece of mind too. Having tested this out it has been solid and works well especially if two people are in the car it can swivel simply should you need to do something on the device,with seconds to install and excellent suction it is very secure and even after going over some ramps and pot-holes ( We have lots of them in Ireland) it failed to budge. Overall I found it solid,stable and it failed to loose the devices tested on it no matter which way I had it stored be it Horizontally of Vertically.. Installing and removing the device is what impressed me too,there was nothing to it,Its simple,affordable and effective.

Nillkin – Sparkle leather case review for the Samsung Galaxy S7. #Nillkin

In the first of our Samsung case reviews we have the Nillkin Sparkle leather case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 which was supplied to us from Mobile Fun.

The Nillkin case has a nice feel to it offering protection all round for the Galaxy S7 BUT not giving us any extra in bulk to the device,being a 5.1 inch device it will be large for some people. The case is also very light too which is great.The case offers easy access to all important ports on the device with none covered and also the speaker is also uncovered which will not have any sound muffled as some case do cover the speaker port even be in little.

The case also offers good protection around the camera and flash areas due to the minor hump in this area the device would be prone to scratches if left uncovered and place on any surface,this case eliminates this as you will see in the video and images. Also something to point out is the flap which covers the screen which has a nice velvet touch to it will also keep the screen in good shape not hindering the experience or scuffing the screen. With the smart display window the case is compatible with the sleep/wake function allowing the user to see content whilst the device is closed,also you can download an app which will be present with the card in the packaging and you simply scan the QR code and enter the code given on the card,this allows some more functionality of the smart window.User can decide regardless what content matters to them to have it there at a glance without having to open the case,the device will wake up once the cover is opened too..
