There is plenty of friend and dating apps now about and we are probably sick and tired of hearing when a new one comes along, they almost all do the same thing, this one is a little different though, its for females only who are seeking others in their area or if you are travelling you you can play aquiz and see if you match up and take it from there, you also need a Facebook account to login to the app which is currently rolling out in the US and for now it is only on iOS..However it is coming to Android soon.
How Hey! VINA works:
Sign up with your Facebook account – we use this to verify your gender and find people who you may know.
Take a quiz – we use quizzes to find people who you’ll be compatible with.
Anonymously swipe to indicate who you want to meet right now. Yep, just like Tinder.
Get matched and introduced – we make every connection feel personal.
Meet up in real life!
Every day more and more companies are joining the VR wagon, but some of the most promising ones like Oculus are too expensive, some others just go an choose the Google cardboard which is way cheaper.
But today we have just discovered that now Apple has its own VR headset, the View-Master Virtual Reality Starter pack (hope the name changes )
Putting the name aside, this is and actual step into the right direction from the fruit company.
This headset was created following the same principles as he Google cardboard, using your iPhone’s screen, you’ll get two split images that when seen through the cristal on the device will simulated the 3D impression on your brain.
Unlike the former, this model is made of plastic, but with a strong resembles of those little toys we use to have when kids, the ones that came with a reel of different images. It even comes with a lever to control your phone.
Well, actually is practically the same as this device works with the same kind of mechanism, the app to control everything on your phone is totally free on the store, but its just a sneak peak of the entire content, such as Space and NATGEO wildlife and destinations.
Something that we did see coming, was a way to charge more for something that should have come ready, in order to unlock the full VR experience, customers will have to buy a separate reel that will free the true power of the app.
And although the device is compatible with iPhone 5 and up running iOS 8.1 or later, there’s a warning saying iPhones 5 and 5c may have issues as the app is not totally optimized.
The View-Master Virtual Reality Starter Pack it in pre-order stage at $29.95
Lets face it,we all get caught with things we rather not be involved in or something you may have walked into without realising. It happens to me quite often and at times would fail to come up with a genuine excuse but now there is help with a new practical app called “Gotta Go” Sadly for now it is just on iOS and hopefully we will see it soon on other platforms as this could become quite useful. The app was created by Chelsea Handler
Gotta Go is a way to generate excuses and set them as alarms. Its the perfect solution for bad dates, awkward convos with your in laws, boring meetings and whatever else you might want to hit the eject button on.
Creating an excuse is easy! Choose an emoji and craft a story by adding messages and calls. Add the special contact number to your address book and set the alarm. Your excuse will be delivered to you as actual text messages and phone calls from your newly created contact, all the proof you need to smoothly exit an awkward situation. Via ProductHunt

KnowMe is a new kind of video editing app which has just launched in the App Store, sadly for now it is just on iOS,Basically it make editing and creating videos via what is already on your device or something you create on the go,you can then also add voice to the video and create a clip, furthermore then you can either save or share the clip, this seems like an extension to the likes of Vine or Instagram video which allows you to be creative and create longer short stories if you will and looks intuitive and easy to use.
DESCRIPTION
KnowMe is the easiest way to make a video using all the media on your phone and the Internet.
In one simple screen, KnowMe lets you string together photos, videos and more to create edited, personalized videos. Just touch and hold a picture as you talk to record your voice, then let go to add the clip to your timeline.
Expressing yourself through video is now as easy as touching and talking. You can add as many clips as you want, redo and rearrange on the fly, add music and more.
Image/editing apps – There is tonnes of them and for most they all do what they say they do,some good, some not so good we are all familiar with them. There is a new app though that is entirely different and distorts reality and gives you that effect/visualisation you often see on music players on our mobiles or as they like to call it a techno -kaleidoscope. This can be used creatively and looks like a neat idea where users can distort images or videos, pick from filters then save or share their creations. The app is sadly only on iOS at the moment and costs $1.99 for a limited time,so if this is your thing and you have a creative mind check it out now.
Features
—Try swiping through the filters.
—Capture in square or rotate your device for the immersive landscape mode.
—Slide your finger across the view screen to adjust the effects and record it in real-time.
—Use 3D Touch on the view screen for added dimension.
—Capture HD 720p video or take a photo.
—Want to get under the hood? Tap on the selected filter name to adjust the effects.
—Try repeatedly tapping the Wildcard filter for randomized madness.
Windows fans all over the world has always been proud of the built-in keyboard of W8 and W8.1 as it broke a Guinness World Record for the fastest typing when it was launched.
But ever since Microsoft took over the Nokia Cell phone Division some of those key features of WP are starting to be ported to other platforms, one of the “most infamous moves” was when Cortana became available in other platforms even before being completely available on the WP ecosystem.
Well, this time is the same famous keyboard the one being ported, as accordingly to an e-mail sent to some Windows insiders, they want to have the app available on iOS and possibly on Android.
What does this mean to the WP ecosystem?
Well, it depends on you and if you see the glass half full or half empty.
The Word Flow keyboard resembles what third party apps like Swipe or SwiftKey can do on both operative systems, which is not a warm welcome.
The app is apparently being developed for iPhone 5s and above, although the real question is:
Would you use the WP Keyboard on your device if you already have some of the aforementioned apps?

For quite a time now we’ve had Chrome OS the system used to run Android on a PC like environment.
But sometimes it feels short when competing against monsters like Windows or Mac OS and then is when this newly additions enters the scene.
Discover Remix OS 2.0
What is it?
Is an Android based operating system, design to offer the best of both worlds, the almost unlimited selection of app the Google Play Store has at your disposal and a almost full desktop experience you’ve dreaming of.
Remix OS has it all:
True Multitasking
A Taskbar
A Notifications Center
Full Keyboard commands
A working Right-click
A File Manager
Full suite of Google Play apps
Future software Updates
This OS has being developed by the Jide team, previously known for making pretty good Android tablets and its built upon the Android x86 initiative.
And they have made a pretty impressive system, worth notice! This is not a public software, although is available for everyone from Jide’s page, for the moment is meant for developers as is still on “Alpha”.
But if you’re interested on this, you’ll be able to dual boot Windows/Mac and “Android” on you PC, the best part of it is that you can even install the OS on a pendrive us booted up directly from there!
On Remix OS you’ll have two offerings, the well known Google Play Store and their own “Remix Store” for full compatible apps.
Everything on the OS looks really well design, but has a strong influence from Microsoft’s Windows 10 like the Notification Tray
All future software updates will hit the place you have destined for it, and it’ll run on most PCs without a particular OS version needed it, which is pretty awesome.
Obviously this desktop software attempt is really solid, but is has the occasional bugs and it won’t replace you current fully working (in most cases) OS.
