Vudoir is a new app on Android and iOS where people can help each other on what outfit or attire to wear,This app is similar to another app called Straw which lets users upload something then they are given the chance to vote on it. This app is mainly aimed at clothing though but the same can be done on the straw app but as mentioned its particular to fashion only not your everyday needs or random questions about the likes of food something you see on Instagram for example. To login it is easy requiring a Twitter or Facebook account..

Upload two different pictures with your outfit ideas, set the time within which you need to receive a feedback, explain what is the occasion and you’re done! Decide your outfit, hairstyle or the best accessory to wear in order to show “your best self” to the world.

With Vudoir you can:

• Receive advices from the community
• Follow people with a style you love
• Know how people will dress up for a certain occasion
• Discover the latest fashion trends from all around the world.

Creator of the idea Alina Franco says

“The idea came to me during the fashion week in Madrid: I was looking around while waiting for a friend in front of a stand, and I realized that everybody wanted to be noticed, to transmit a style or a message, through their outfits. They were looking for the approval of those present – Says Alina Franco – I immediately started to search on the net if there was a solution to a problem so common that each one of us had at least once in their life: there wasn’t. Blogger, personal shopper, personal image consultants were and are a valid support for shopping, personal style, suggestions; but no one is able to help you taking a decision in real time, without being present. I thought about the fact that the same dress in the same color and of the same size looks very differently based on who is wearing it, and that the opinion of somebody who sees the final result cannot be replaced by a photo of a mannequin or a model. Think about the standard lifecycle of any outfit: we ask opinions from a shop assistant or from our friends if they are with us, then we go home with our new dress, but it’s not over yet. Before going out, we are always undecided between two dresses, we are always in a different mood compared to when we bought that outfit; In short, any advice or even a confirmation of our idea is always appreciated. In the always-on era, the answer could only be an app. And Vudoir was born.”

Lonely Planet has released a new app and good oul Dublin gets a spotlight with a guide you can download from the app itself and yes its free.. The app allows you to search,see eat,sleep,shop drink and play and also gives you suggested places to see such as museums and art galleries..

The app is now on Android and iOS and looks great and works well and its smooth to use,You can also add your favourites to the app and there is a cost calculator built into the app too.. Furthermore you can use OFFLINE maps too which is a bonus..

Over time your Android device slows down and with cheap ones this is the norm this is common and no matter what we do to speed them up you will fail and keep failing,lots of people today have old devices still and complain they are slow,removing data can help but only for so long..But how about an application that can optimize your device that’s not hard to use?

The Architecture of Radio is a data visualization, based on global open datasets of cell tower, Wi-Fi and satellite locations. Based on your GPS location the app shows a 360 degree visualization of signals around you. The dataset includes almost 7 million cell towers, 19 million Wi-Fi routers and hundreds of satellites.

The app launched initially on iOS first last November and is now available to download on Android. I have been always a bit weary of this app and got the chance to test it out and it actually works and is kinda strange with some really cool visualisations to boot and  strange humming noise from your mobile phone but if you are into tech like this,this is an app for you to check out for yourself.To use the app you will need to have the device pointing upward,ie looking at it,it will not work on a flat surface.

If you need a handy app to keep track of something coming up be it a birthday,sports event,travel events and live weather there is a new app you should try today which has multiple offerings to personalise to your own needs and more,it is a simple app to use, you only need an event title, location and date/time. Adding the webcam widget requires a little bit of work – Find your favourite webcam (it can’t be a live/panning cam, it has to be one of the old school, photo ones) right click on it to get the file name and then add it as the Web Image option when setting up the widget..

I’m a UI Designer working for a software company in Dublin, the app came about being as a result of my annual snowboard trips, every year, as winter approached, I would set up three widgets on my homescreen – a countdown widget, a weather widget and a webcam widget, each of these showing information/images from my holiday destination.

So this year I decided to combine all three into one app. Those three features can be all used together on the app and widget, or they can be used individually, so it could be a weather widget, a countdown widget or a webcam widget. It’s not just for holiday countdowns, it can be used for birthdays, anniversaries, sports events, weddings, etc

There is plenty of Apps around these days to keep us entertained some legal and some not so legal which is why they can only be got via APKs and this will likely continue for the foreseeable future and we are all fine with that however there is an app called Goodshows that is offering users who seek entertainment and Siddarth from Goodshows – “Premier social network for tv geeks and movie fanatics” has spoken to us about the app..

Tell us a bit about yourselves.

As avid movie and tv fans ourselves, we couldn’t find a proper place where we can discover new shows and discuss shows we have watched. The problem we had with sites like IMDB and RottenTomatoes is that movies are the first class citizens there. Not the people. And certainly not our friends. We had to put a considerable effort there to find our friends or people who have similar interests and keep up with the things they are watching. Your friends and other people with whom your interests align are your true recommendation engine. These thoughts led us to the creation of Goodshows. 

What does the app offer its users?

There is plenty of apps out there to depict the weather and most do the job right and look well. This app is a little different though giving us a real time look at the winds around the earth but with a beautiful neon like look,the app is free to download. The app also has several overlays and you can just drag the globe on your devices screen to get  view of your area.

App start location can be saved through the menu.
You can switch overlays by pressing “Earth” on screen.
Map updates every three hours, showing near-current weather patterns worldwide. You can spin the map like a globe, zoom in on a particular region, or just soak in the oddly soothing sight of the neon lines steadily making their way across the globe.
