Tech Review – The Groov-e Music Buds True Wireless. #Tech #TWS #Groove

Groove recently announced their latest product called the music buds to their portfolio of affordable tech and these are really good considering the price they come in at with all the features you expect to find and no need to take out your phone to control the music and calls and also has the option to connect to your assistant on the go too with simple to use controls, the controls are once again a button and not touch based which is nice.

Again we have a clean design on offer here and the have a low profile too and do not stick out from your ears and offer a nice snug fit there is no ANC on board but they do a decent job muting the outside world and when at max volume you will not hear a thing anyway however in some instances they did get tinny and muffled but overall a good experince and max volume is my personal taste anyway and many would not keep at max level to get some kind of ambience.

 

 

The build quality is solid and the controls so easy to use which I like with your typical 1/2/3 taps to get things moving, we go through this in the video below anyway. There is nice bass present here and overall fairly well balanced from testing my usual playlist and I was happy enough with their performance and the battery life is also on par with their claims and with no ANC present it is decent battery life. For 25 quid lads you cant go wrong but I would like to see more colours from the company on their earbuds selection even White would be nice.

Review – Happy Plugs Air 1 ANC True Wireless. #Tech #ANC #HappyPlugs #TrueWireless

Happy Plugs is a new brand out of Stockholm who have brought a great range of true wireless to the market and I was delighted to be able to test these and in short they deliver.. First thing to note is the presentation which for me is the best I have seen on a pair of True Wireless to date and I have a the biggest range of TWS covered in Ireland and have a huge collection and this presentation tops the lot it has to be said, First impressions last but then the big question is how they sound to follow.

 

 

The build comfort and look is great the colour tones, and the ones available move away from the industry standard and the cases are a matt finish which is really nice and dont collect fingerprints either not that its a huge deal but some cases do and it is worth pointing out. They have a nice range of colours and other products on offer doing the same which for me is nice and something different offering a variety of colours is a win for the consumer rather than being stuck with the one or two usually offered on launch then you see an array offered later,doing it on launch is better in my opinion..

 

 

OK so we have wireless charging and USB-C two key factors for me and also ANC which is also a key feature, these offer great isolation when put on first which is always a good start and they are comfortable overall even for long term use I tend to wear TWS all day in the house hence makes testing easy for me as all aspects can be done quickly due to the volume of earbuds I test and also I wear at night in bed listening to music, You Tube, watching Netflix and movies etc. The Happy Plugs deliver on volume, ANC that works great for a pair of earbuds it is hard to do and only two other high end have done well hear I have tested but these are the cheapest that give you good decent ANC plus you have the options to change to ambient mode or just basic we go through the features in the video review..

Bass is great music,voice, direction instruments and calls they really impressed me as whole and they are loud too. Controls are easy to use an done slightly different than some earbuds I have tried using both sides you have your commands and they work really well and not too finicky either like some can be and work all the time again an issue I see often when it comes to touch control earbuds..

 

 

 

Battery life is on par with their claims too which is nice as some are often unrealistic plus you have the wireless charging as mentioned plus great battery life, Overall these are really impressive and certainly worth a look. The market is saturated now with true wireless but we have tested the biggest range for all pockets and they are up there with the more expensive offerings out there saving you money, Apple and their overpriced Airpods have has their day now and simply not worth the price..

Review – The Groov-e sports buds. #TWS #Tech

If you are in the market for an affordable pair of true wireless these are something to check out, Lightweight well built and sturdy these will not fall out of your ears and are comfortable from the get go. Aimed at the sports minded these have all the features you would expect to find from a pair of true wireless earbuds with IPX4 rating these can be used in the gym and with the ear hooks they will not budge even for the more intensive workouts or jogging.

Controls are simple to use with clicky buttons which I prefer but do mind mind touch sensitive options either,the controls work well and caused no issues all the features required are present and we go through these in the video review below. Sound is quite balanced across the board not mind blowing but decent overall and for the price they come in at you cant complain. Call quality is great too,Sports earbuds tend to be more on the expensive side but with these you cant go wrong and are also ideal for the commuter and with the 1800 mAh battery capacity can also be used as a power bank for other devices.

Review – The Edifier TWS6 True Wireless earbuds. #Edifier #TWS6 #Tech

The Edifier TWS6 are the latest on offer from the company and a nice slim sleek pair of true wireless at that, these come with extra wing tips for the sport minded individual and I would suggest using those for a stable comfortable fit,you can wear them without but overall using the wings is a better road to travel, The controls are minimal here though work well with the touch sensitive area given the size these come in at compared to others from the company as you will see in the video below. Everyone has a feature set they prefer so I am basing this review on how I like my sound which is bass driven.

The lack of being able to skip tracks is an odd one to leave out here yet alone volume control but they do a good job with sound but not their best when I say that they are more bright compared to the deeper bass tone I usually expect from edifier but overall they do a good job with good balance and direction and no lag latency so ideal for music,movies and more.

The case comes with wireless charging which is not often seen at this price point and come with USB-C charging too which is nice and they have a decent battery life and are IPX5 water, sweat and dust resistance so ideal for the sports minded as mentioned above. The charge case has a gloss finish and is a fingerprint magnet and will get marked easy however offering wireless charging and protecting the earbuds I would let them off here.
