Tech Review – OpenRock Pro Open-Ear Air Conduction Sport Earbuds

Open-Ear bone and Air conduction earbuds/ headphones are now a thing these days and we are going through some amount of pairs to test which is a good thing so we can show you how these things work with hands on time with the products and not lazy stock image reviews so you get context. The OpenRock Open-Ear Air conduction earbuds have been on my ears some time now and as mentioned before there is a difference between bone and air conduction headphones and we are now seeing more of the air conduction earbuds hit the shelves.

Also mentioned before in some reviews you will not get to near your earbud or headphone quality here but this is certainly changing for the better and with these sport earbuds again I see a difference in the tech and enhanced over other models tested in the past, there is no app with the OpenRock but hopefully in time we will see one soon but the news is good more or less from here they couldn’t be simpler to operate either.

You get a pretty large case as seen in the video and some might call that a caveat it is still pocketable and you will know you have it at all times unlike some small earbud cases for example, the case is also super robust so the goods inside will be safe.

The Earbuds are also robust and solid and can be moved to get the perfect fit, these will not fall off once you adjust them to your requirement. As mentioned no app so some limitations.

You have no auto play or pause no multipoint connection, EQ and no wireless charging and after that the rest is there, you can use these individually so effectively doubling battery life for those who use one side only which people do and is a good feature to see here.

The controls are simple to use with one button each side to execute the commands which are fixed and you have access to your voice assistant too the button on each side is the perfect size and works right each time and that is all there is to it really. you can skip and reverse tracks, play and pause and higher and lower the volume and control calls.

Overall the sound is pretty good here and a decent audio experience to be had and you can also hear your surroundings too which is not a bad thing there is some leakage on maxed out volume but no lag latency no tinny sound or distorted either when maxed out. Check out the video review for more.

Tech Review – TOZO OpenReal Air Conduction Headphones

Bone conduction headphones are popular now but now we are seeing AIR conduction headphones which is a different take on the technology used and for the better, having tested countless pairs of bone conduction headphones AIR conduction are far and few between but we have tried a few pairs over the last while, TOZO is a new brand to us and we recently tested their Golden X1 earbuds which are fantastic with a great app and we recommend you try them out and give this brand a look in the near future if not already.

The TOZO OpenReal Air are another pair or headphones that are closer to wearing earbuds than you think same as bone conducting but better, You still get all the features required with controls and so on but on these type of headphones it is actually much simpler. Yes we have an app this time around for these too which is not common and again kept simple.

The design is simple yet robust and sleek you will forget you are wearing these after a few mins and they are comfortable and don’t bounce on your head if jogging or training, a question that is asked alot on such headphones. As you are aware they do not go into your ears but sit on the outside of them and delivering decent audio too which you might not expect but they do work really well and they also have an IPX7 rating for those who are more sporty or use outdoors.

Now when it comes to sound they are loud enough with 16.2mm dynamic drivers, not as loud as earbuds or headphones but loud enough also they do not seem to leak like bone conduction headphones so if someone is sitting beside you on the train or bus you need not worry. Battery life is decent too with around 14 hours per charge less when used full volume and EQ setting dependent.

The controls are simple to use being both on the right earbud and the small control buttons which are very small for me with big fingers it must be said but they work and work fine, you also have the charge port there which of course is a two pin proprietary charger which will hopefully be gone by the end of this year but for now it is the norm like most smartwatches.

The app gives you more control allowing you to pick from custom EQ settings or make your own and the thing is here there is a notable difference between the EQ sounds compared to even recent earbuds tested where you would not notice much of a change between your bass and trebles etc, you can hear the difference with these which is good.

For the price you pay here these are one of it not the best air conduction headphones I have tried to date and look forward to seeing this improve even more over time.

Features

  • Open-Ear Design
  • Air Conduction Technology & Ergonomic Design
  • Clear Calls with Dual-Mic ENC & Bluetooth 5.3
  • 16.2mm Dynamic Drivers

The Science Of Air Conditioning: How Technology Is Used To Cool And Purify Indoor Air

Nowadays, air conditioning is an absolute necessity in many parts of the world. Without it, hot climates would be unbearable. But what exactly goes into cooling our homes? In this post, we will explore the science behind air conditioning and show you how modern technology helps us cool our homes and purify indoor air.

1. Heating, Ventilating, And Air Conditioning (HVAC)

This comprehensive system is made up of several key components that ensure the proper flow of air inside buildings. HVAC units include an evaporator coil for cooling and a condenser coil for heat transfer. An outdoor compressor pumps refrigerant through copper pipes which allow cooled or heated air to be circulated inside the building.

Regular maintenance of your air conditioning system is important in order to ensure it is running as efficiently as possible. This includes changing air filters, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring all components are working properly. If you need professional help with any of these AC services, an experienced technician can provide expert advice on how to best maintain and repair the system for optimal performance.

2. Air Filters

Air filters are an essential part of any air conditioning system, as they help to trap particles like dust, pollen and other contaminants in order to purify indoor air quality. It is important to regularly change or clean these filters in order to maintain the effectiveness of the system, as they can become clogged over time with dirt and debris which hinders their performance.

Changing these filters on a regular basis helps promote better air quality while also making sure the system runs efficiently.  By taking this extra step, you can ensure your air conditioning system works at its optimal level for years to come.

3. Thermostat

The thermostat is a key component of an air conditioning system as it helps regulate the temperature levels inside a building by turning the system on and off when needed. It also allows users to customize their desired temperature, either via manual or programmable settings.

4. Humidifiers

Humidifiers are used in air conditioning systems to adjust humidity levels in order to prevent dryness and maintain a comfortable environment. This is especially important in hot and humid climates where the air tends to be more damp.

5. Air Purifiers

Air purifiers use filters, activated carbon or ultraviolet light to remove contaminants from indoor air, such as bacteria, mold spores, dust mites and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

These systems are often seen as beneficial for people with allergies or asthma as they can help reduce symptoms by removing irritants from the air, another option to look out for in case you need it is aircon repair

6. Refrigerants

Refrigerants are the key component in air conditioning systems used to transfer heat. They are used to cool down the air so it can be circulated indoors, by absorbing and releasing heat as they pass through a series of coils.

7. Insulation

Proper insulation is necessary for maintaining comfortable temperatures inside buildings, especially during extreme weather changes.

It helps reduce energy costs and keeps conditioned air from escaping outside, while also preventing outdoor hot or cold temperatures from entering the building.

8. Zoning Systems

Zoning systems divide a single HVAC system into multiple areas which can be individually controlled with thermostats, allowing different rooms to have different temperature settings based on user preference. This also helps to reduce energy costs by only cooling or heating areas that are being used.

In Conclusion

Air conditioning systems are an effective way to maintain comfortable temperatures at home or in the office. From HVAC units to thermostats and humidifiers, modern technology has come a long way to make these systems more efficient than ever before. It is important to regularly maintain your system by changing filters and other components as needed, not only for optimal performance but also to ensure you benefit from clean and pure indoor air quality.
