Approximately 2 weeks ago a hackers attack began over thousands of websites using WordPress system infecting unsuspecting visitors with potent malware exploits.
The attack has claimed almost 15.000 sites using the CMS WordPress, the Sucuri Security team has been working hard since the beginning to ensure sites and protect the site’s visitors.
But the infected sites grew from 1,000 per day to almost 6,000 daily this due to attackers using a “Nuclear exploit kit” inserted in some vulnerable plugins redirecting visitors to hosting servers who carries the malware. The Nuclear exploit kit, is sold on the black market and uses a variety of different exploits depending on the operating system and available apps used by the visitor.
Sucuri has confirmed that almost 95% of the attacked websites are running WordPress, even though they still don’t know how the sites are being attacked is mostly due to plugins vulnerability.
Sucuri has named the campaign “Visitor Trackers” due to its JavaScript file name visitorTracker_isMob.
Still unsure how the hackers infest the websites Sucuri made public a security tool to identify if your site is indeed infected, and therefore, protect your audience.
We have been waiting for a date for a long time and now we have one for the Apple Watch for us Irish, its to go on sale on September 25th,so for those waiting or have been saving you now know ,it may be also a good time to drop hints for the xmas present if you are willing to spend the money on Apples wearable, they start at €429 with the Sport edition,€679 for the Watch and €11,300 for the Watch edition,People that have been waiting to buy the watch have been rather annoyed that Apple has waited so long to release the watch here, considered they have a base in Ireland did not help the situation either..Up until now people had to import the device from the UK or pick one up on their travels…
Apple also says there is free delivery on all products over €40 which is nice of them..there is also a list of resellers made available so you can check with them too..Straps are also available to buy which start at €59 and head north from there, Will you be buying one,if so let us know below…
Recently Apple launched an Android app its first to be exact and was an app to help people switch to Android, there has been similar instances in the past but just hash tags on twitter and the likes, now its down to apps which is fine and im pretty sure someone will respond ,that being said one would wonder if Apple will allow it..
The app is simple and all you do is click the screen which says “click here to stay with Android” and then it says “Congratulations you did it,oh yeah do it again”.But thats it,the experience might be fun for some and useless for others but its fun to see a response to the Apple App which has got slated in the comments section in the Play Store.
The description of the app though is funny which says….
Everything about Android is designed to be easy. That includes sticking with it. With just one step, you can keep your content automatically and securely on your Android device with the Stick with Android app. No need to save your stuff elsewhere before sticking with Android. The Stick with Android app securely keeps you away from switching to another (worse) platform.
You can just follow the download link HERE and read the comment or download the app but you will be bored after a short time, but the comments section is where its at.. The comments too on the Apple App are also quite entertaining, let the battle commence.
Something manufacturers could do realistically speaking anyway would be a good idea to either give a smartwatch free or bundle it with their new devices, this is something we hardly see here and if they want to sell their gadgets this would be a good idea across the board, there is still not a whole lot of traction here and activity/fitness trackers seem to be more popular..
However there is a nice deal on billpay with Meteor now that gives you a nice device and smartwatch in a bundle. They are the Alcatel Idol 3 4.7 inch and Watch. There is an Alcatel Idol 3 5.5 inch so not to get mixed up here on the particular model.
Features
4.7″ Screen
13MP Camera
1.2Ghz Quad Core Processor
8 GB EMMC + 1.5 GB RAM
Android 5.0
See more at meteor the good thing is it comes from FREE …. and you are getting a fairly decent phone and smartwatch to get you going… You can also buy the watch separately for just €99.99 here

Hey folks, we have something special for the foodie lovers in Dublin. We were approached by a dynamic guy, who was bubbling with new concept and ideas to help people find where and who offers, what they are looking for… Curious?? Well we were too to know what exactly Youssef Sarhan, Designer and Co-Founder Mizu had in his mind.
Read on to know what’s here for people who love to eat out from Mizu.
What is Mizu?
We all have a very different taste and diets. Some of us love chicken, some of us think it’s boring. Some of us love pasta, some of avoid it while others prefer to stay vegetarian. So, here is where this new idea of Mizu came up.
Well, Mizu is a new mobile app for iPhone which understands your taste and diet.
When you download Mizu, you tell the app what you do and don’t like to eat – this helps Mizu understand your taste and diet and match you with great nearby food. “Think of it as a dating app for food, the perfect relationship” says Youssef.
Once you’ve told Mizu what you do and don’t like to eat, Mizu shows you a list of great nearby restaurants – complete with opening hours and directions. Isn’t that great? Mizu is being your Personal Assistant to your taste buds.
When you browse a restaurants menu on Mizu, dishes are presented in an order which matches your taste and diet. So, this makes finding the perfect dish super fast. Say for example, if you like chicken, chicken dishes are filtered to the top, and if you don’t like pork, pork dishes are pushed to the bottom. This is great for customers and businesses. Everyone wins! You know what and where you want to eat and businesses know what to offer to you.
Mizu comes with a learning algorithm, which gets better the more you use to make it offer you the best options. Mizu also integrates your social networking sites where you can share the dish or it even allows you to rate or comment on a particular restaurant, so your friends and family know what you liked our didn’t like at the particular restaurant.
Mizu is a totally unique concept, nobody is doing anything like this in the food-tech space yet.
Mizu is a start up based in Dublin, Ireland and they are looking for expansion and proposals. This wonderful app is exclusively available to iOS at the moment, which can be downloaded here. We wish the team a very good luck for the future.

Taking care of our pets is something really important to some of us, some use cameras to “watch them” all the time.
Others want to go a little further, and there’s where this new Health Monitor comes in.
Meet the PetPace Collar
The PetPace is not your usual accessory, is practically like having a personal Vet 24/7 right next to your pet. This new wearable works for both dogs and cats of any size.

By gathering the data collected the PetPace create a “RANGE OF PHYSIOLOGICAL AND BEHAVIORAL PARAMETERS”
Once this is done, you will see clearly when your pet’s not feeling good before too late.
You will have access to all the data in real time through the IOS and Android App which will let you know if something’s happening via text messages, email or push notifications directly on your phone or tablet screen.
These are the official specs:
Single push-button interface
LED indications
IP-67 water & dust resistance
Shockproof and ruggedized for outdoor use
