Salesforce Announces Einstein GPT, the World’s First Generative AI for CRM

Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, today launched Einstein GPT, the world’s first generative AI CRM technology, which delivers AI-created content across every sales, service, marketing, commerce, and IT interaction, at hyperscale. With Einstein GPT, Salesforce will transform every customer experience with generative AI.

Einstein GPT will infuse Salesforce’s proprietary AI models with generative AI technology from an ecosystem of partners and real-time data from the Salesforce Data Cloud, which ingests, harmonizes, and unifies all of a company’s customer data.

With Einstein GPT, customers can then connect that data to OpenAI’s advanced AI models out of the box, or choose their own external model and use natural-language prompts directly within their Salesforce CRM to generate content that continuously adapts to changing customer information and needs in real time.

For example, Einstein GPT can generate personalized emails for salespeople to send to customers, generate specific responses for customer service professionals to more quickly answer customer questions, generate targeted content for marketers to increase campaign response rates, and auto-generate code for developers.

“The world is experiencing one of the most profound technological shifts with the rise of real-time technologies and generative AI. This comes at a pivotal moment as every company is focused on connecting with their customers in more intelligent, automated, and personalized ways.

“Einstein GPT, in combination with our Data Cloud and integrated in all of our clouds as well as Tableau, MuleSoft, and Slack, is another way we are opening the door to the AI future for all our customers, and we’ll be integrating with OpenAI at launch.” said Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.

Integration with OpenAI: Salesforce is combining OpenAI’s enterprise-grade ChatGPT technology with Salesforce’s private AI models to deliver relevant and trusted AI-generated content.

“We’re excited to apply the power of OpenAI’s technology to CRM,” said Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI. “This will allow more people to benefit from this technology, and it allows us to learn more about real-world usage, which is critical to the responsible development and deployment of AI — a belief that Salesforce shares with us.”

Salesforce Ventures launches $250 million Generative AI Fund: Salesforce also announced a Generative AI Fund from Salesforce Ventures, the company’s global investment arm. The new $250 million fund will invest in high-potential startups, bolster the startup ecosystem, and spark the development of responsible, trusted, and generative AI.

Einstein GPT is the next generation of Einstein, Salesforce’s AI technology that currently delivers more than 200 billion AI-powered predictions per day across the Customer 360. And by combining proprietary Einstein AI models with ChatGPT or other leading large language models, customers can use natural-language prompts on CRM data to trigger powerful, time-saving automations, and create personalized, AI-generated content. Launching today are:

  • Einstein GPT for Sales: Auto-generate sales tasks like composing emails, scheduling meetings, and preparing for the next interaction.
  • Einstein GPT for Service: Generate knowledge articles from past case notes. Auto-generate personalized agent chat replies to increase customer satisfaction through personalized and expedited service interactions.
  • Einstein GPT for Marketing: Dynamically generate personalized content to engage customers and prospects across email, mobile, web, and advertising.
  • Einstein GPT for Slack Customer 360 apps: Deliver AI-powered customer insights in Slack like smart summaries of sales opportunities and surface end users actions like updating knowledge articles.
  • Einstein GPT for Developers: Improve developer productivity with Salesforce Research’s proprietary large language model by using an AI chat assistant to generate code and ask questions for languages like Apex.

ChatGPT for Slack, built by OpenAI: In addition, Salesforce and OpenAI today announced the ChatGPT for Slack app. The app provides new AI-powered conversation summaries, research tools to learn about any topic, and writing assistance to quickly draft messages.

The customer perspective: Customers like HPE, L’Oréal, RBC US Wealth Management, and S&P Global Ratings discuss the value generative AI delivers to improve customer engagement.

  • “Embedding AI into our CRM has delivered huge operational efficiencies for our advisors and clients,” said Greg Beltzer, Head of Tech for RBC US Wealth Management. “We believe that this technology has the potential to transform the way businesses interact with their customers, deliver personalized experiences, and drive customer loyalty. We are excited to explore this opportunity with Salesforce and drive the next generation of personalized customer experiences.”
  • “Advances in AI continue to facilitate deeper, multi-dimensional insights from market participants globally. Consequently, Sales and Marketing teams can improve their customer-centricity and become even more embedded in their customers’ journeys,” said Chris Heusler, Chief Commercial Officer of S&P Global Ratings. “The next chapter of AI has exciting implications for elevating the customer experience.”

Fairphone gives a fond farewell to its 7-year-old Fairphone 2

Fairphone, the Dutch social enterprise building a market for ethical smartphones, has announced that after an unprecedented over seven years of support, Fairphone 2 has reached the end of its life. The software update for Android 10 releasing today will be its final update. However, certain spare parts for Fairphone 2 will still be available as long as supplies last or as long as there are a reasonable amount of active users. Fairphone 2 was the world’s first modular smartphone on the market, a revolutionary concept for the electronics industry. In total, around 115,000 Fairphone 2s were sold and there are now around 15,000 still in use. Producing the first modular phone presented new challenges for Fairphone, both in the supply chain and software longevity.

Fairphone has had to work with chipsets that no longer support the latest software to keep Fairphone 2 going for as long as possible. Against all odds and with the help of many dedicated Fairphone and open source community members, the company was able to overcome software challenges to provide Fairphone 2 users with continued software updates, effectively using a DIY style to keep the device going for longer. Fairphone 2 launched with Android 5 and was subsequently upgraded to Android 6, Android 7.1, Android 9 and most recently Android 10. It is one of the few devices from 2015 to have received an upgrade to Android 9 and 10.  Fairphone provided users with a total of 43 software updates throughout Fairphone 2’s lifetime.

Fairphone has embraced open source software since its founding, working closely with open source communities. The open source community is crucial to allowing Fairphones to run securely for longer, even after the official end of software support. They helped Fairphone complete the last Android upgrades but also to provide alternative software available for its users. Today, users can now install OSes such as LineageOS or /e/OS available on Android 11 for Fairphone 2. Fairphone’s ambition is to bring more fairness to the electronics industry for both hardware and software.

Agnes Crepet, Head of Software Longevity at Fairphone, states:

“When we first launched Fairphone 2, our software team had the ambition to support the phone for three to five years. We didn’t know we would achieve our goal (and more) because it was an industry first. We are proud to have gone above and beyond our initial ambitions for Fairphone 2. The end of life for Fairphone 2 is bittersweet because in the ideal world, we’d support our devices indefinitely, but due to industry and financial constraints, that is simply not feasible. But we are happy we can say we supported Fairphone 2 for an unprecedented seven years.”

For more information on what this means for Fairphone 2 users, please read the blog post here.

What are the best strategies to get backlinks?

Is your website struggling to get the best ranking on Google? Don’t worry because you can succeed with the help of backlinks. This is used as a tool to expand a website’s reach and it can be useful for both websites to have this to build a relationship and market their services on both ends.

Getting the right formula to get backlinks is vital in improving your website’s ranking on search engines and its popularity. This has become the standard for the industry because people love getting high-quality backlinks because it drives organic traffic.

Websites like online casinos have improved with their gambling backlinks. A lot of platforms of the said niche are now competing for the top rankings in search engines since backlinking helps them gain traffic and profit. Look at the best strategies that SEO experts use when they want to get backlinks.

The Skyscraper Technique

This technique will involve building backlinks by following a process. People are attracted to the best of the best with the content they consume. It is aptly named because the goal is to become the tallest skyscraper.

This is the process that you need to look into when using this technique:

  • Find the successful content that earned multiple links and take inspiration from them.
  • Create your content according to the niche and your target audience.
  • Promote the content to those who loved the initial pieces that you were consuming.

You need to ensure that your content will not be the same as the content that you consumed. Just take inspiration from that so you can implement it in your content. You also need to be comprehensive with the information that you are looking to release while maintaining an enticing aura.

Find broken links within your niche

This will be the process of finding broken links on the pages within your niche. You need to reach out to the webmasters to get a solid look at the links that you can get. The broken link led to the 404: Not Found error which makes for a poor user experience for people. It also makes the site owner look worse because they did not maintain their website.

You will get to replace a broken link with a backlink to your website. Navigate the backlink analytics so you can see the indexed pages and broken pages. This is where you can see opportunities for SEO people to find the best backlinks by making a replacement page and reaching out to the owners to offer your page as the alternative target.

Create content that naturally attracts backlinks

As you move forward with creating backlinks, you need to ensure that you are creating compelling content. It needs to be enticing that people will gravitate to those links and become possible patrons for the linked website.

Check out your niche and you will have some useful topics that can help you stand out from the rest. You need to use both nuance and statistics so you can attract backlinks from other people too. As you have enticing content, there will be a bright future with all of the content that you have made.

Do not miss out on using backlinks

An online casino needs gambling backlinks to get high traffic and rank higher in search results to prove itself as reliable. Doing this can be challenging with all of the time, effort, and money that will be spent but it helps with engaging potential patrons that can help the business move forward.

announced the launch of Fujifilm’s free, downloadable INSTAX UP! Smartphone App (hereinafter “INSTAX UP!”), designed for INSTAX instant photography fans to digitally scan, store, and share their photos in one place.

With INSTAX UP! users can:

  • Scan their INSTAX prints and store them digitally in one place

  • Import photos from other INSTAX apps (INSTAX mini LINK, INSTAX Link WIDE etc.) into the INSTAX Up!
  • Keep informed about the latest INSTAX updates, tips, and other creative content

INSTAX UP! has been developed with the help of consumer feedback; where users wanting to digitally store and share INSTAX prints have previously used simple smartphone picture taking of photographs. This technique can result in the glossy surface of the print to cause reflections, as well some distortion including loss of texture of the border film. INSTAX UP! simplifies and improves the process for storing your favourite INSTAX prints digitally and turning them into shareable posts.

“INSTAX UP! is a new solution that solves the problem of easily digitizing and sharing high-quality INSTAX prints,” said Shin Udono, Senior Vice President, Imaging Solutions, FUJIFILM Europe. “Enhancing the overall INSTAX experience, INSTAX UP! will enable instant photo fans to digitally organize and archive their creativity, and easily share their photos with the world, helping preserve special memories and inspire more.”
