Office Lens for Android now available on Google Play Store #OfficeLens #Apps #Microsoft

Office lens is now available to download for Android,its been on preview some time now as reported back on initial announcement some time ago. Now it is publicly  available. Office Lens trims, enhances, and makes pictures of whiteboards and docs readable. You can use Office Lens to convert images to PDF, Word and PowerPoint files, and you can even save images to OneNote or OneDrive. Full details are in the link above of the app.

From receipts to whiteboards, books to legal documents, the Office Lens Android pocket scanner recognizes the corners of any rectangular media and automatically crops, straightens and enhances the image, which can be saved to multiple sources at the same time..

Periscope is now available on Android (4.4 and above) its just hit the play store,this will be welcome news for those having to use some alternative options,Twitter owns periscope and has been on iOS for sometime.It also seems like its got the full features like iOS..

Periscope lets you broadcast live video to the world. Going live will instantly notify your followers, who can join, comment and send you hearts in real time. The more hearts you get, the higher they flutter on the screen.

 

• REPLAY: When your broadcast is over, you can make it available for replay so viewers can watch later. Viewers can replay your broadcast with comments and hearts to relive the full experience. Replays currently last 24 hours. You can delete your replay at any time.
• PRIVATE: If you want to broadcast to specific people, press the lock icon before going live and choose who you want to invite to your broadcast.


• TWITTER: You can choose to share your Periscope broadcasts on Twitter by tapping the bird icon before you start broadcasting. When you go live, you’ll tweet a link so that your Twitter followers can watch on the web (or in the app)

Taiwan becomes the second country after China to get #Nokia N1 by @Tiwaash #Tablet #Android #NokiaN1

Nokia N1, was first announced in November last year and then first launched in China in January this year is finally ready to leave China. Taiwan has become lucky because after China, N1 is now available in Taiwan. While there are no official details on its global release, it is expected that the company will release it to other Asian markets later.

Priced at TWD 8,199 the tablet can be bought by an online retailer iSunfa.

Samsung introduce “Flow” as beta to Fight W10 “Continuity” By @VicenteA_George #Samsung #Android #Flow #App

In the world we live now is almost sure that we always have the need to be “on everything”.

Apple has “Handoff”, Microsoft will have “Continuity” with W10 and now Samsung present us “Flow”

Flow is more than just an app, is a way from Samsung to integrate their devices in a way where you can use each one to do what they are made to do.

Flow is based on two simple things:

Transfer & Dafer

Transfer: is for moving an activity to the right device for a task and pick it up right where you left off rather than starting again.

Defer: is for “pause” an activity when the right device is not at hand or there just isn’t enough time to finish up a task. Then you can resume it when you’re ready.

Another feature that seems to be omitted in the description is “Notifications”

You’ll receive the Notifications on the devices you’re using and choose if take it there or move it to another one.

Let’s take a look at what Samsung wants for us:

Looks nice isn’t it?

But there’s two downsides

1) It’s in Beta only available in the U.S
2) Is not fully compatible with all Samsung devices yet
