#MobieFit enters the #mFitness league with #FirstRun by @Tiwaash #Fitness #Android #Startup

How often do we get a celebrity who takes interest in taking care of the fitness of their followers??? Well this doesn’t happen quite often but it just so happened. The renowned celebrity from India, Gul Panag, has taken up this task to encourage and train her fans & followers with her latest venture in tech, MobieFit. “MobieFit is a venture, incubated by Prototyze, focused on mobile fitness powered by celebrity trainers. It helps you become as fit as you want, in the way that you want”.

MobieFit launched their first of the mFitness app FirstRun, with Gul Panag being the Chief Fitness Officer. FirstRun is focused on people who have never took up running and to encourage them to run. Gul says “Our debut product FirstRun has launched on the Google Play Store. It is specifically designed to take people who’ve absolutely never run before and get them running many kilometres within just a few weeks. Among a dozen unique features is a personal trainer (yours truly!) who will guide you through the entire journey. I am now the CFO, yes that’s right, the Chief Fitness Officer.

LG announces two new members of the G4 family, the G4 Stylus and G4c. #LG #Tech #Mobile

LG have announced some more new devices not so long after the release of the G4 ,we now have two more models to the line up making it affordable with some of the G4 looks and more,these will be a nice addition to the current portfolio.

The G4 Stylus is a 5.7-inch handset, slightly larger than the 5.5-inch display found in the G4. As its name implies, The G4 Stylus includes LG’s versatile Rubberdium™ Stylus, allowing for easy note taking and drawing on the generously-sized screen. Its smaller sibling, the 5.0-inch LG G4c, offers many of the G4’s premium features and styling but in a more compact form factor.

Both G4 Series phones feature 13MP or 8MP rear cameras and 5MP front-facing camera for high quality photos and portraits. Other popular LG exclusives such as Gesture Shot, Glance View and Knock Code™ make both devices more convenient, secure and fun to use. LG G4 Global roll-out begins shipping in key markets #LG #G4 #Android

The LG G4 has started shipping to key markets but will Ireland be one of them ? Like the past few devices from LG which no operator touched here its yet to be seen if it will actually launch here in Ireland,as the G Flex 2 has not been seen,the same applied to the G3 which was a great device.

We do hope to see the G4 here and some operators show some love as LG have upped their game over the last two years and on many of our local forums people are screaming for the devices.The devices themselves are quite nice and a worthy device to have on Irish shelves.

 

SEOUL, May 18, 2015 — Customers in key markets around the world will finally get their chance to own the latest advanced smartphone from LG Electronics (LG), one which industry experts have widely praised for its exceptional camera, vivid and expansive display, and willingness to set new rules in defining what a premium mobile device could be.

 LG G4 will begin rolling out this week to consumers in key markets around the world, continuing throughout the month into June and beyond as more retailers and operators see what LG G4 has to offer their customers. Sony update their “Selfie Line” with the Xperia C4 & C4 Dual By @VicenteA_George #Android #Sony #Xperia

Last year Sony unveiled the Xperia C3 for the “selfie-fanatics”, it was a mid-ranger with a great FF camera that has a soft flash.

Now Sony is back in the selfie game with the updated Xperia C4 and C4 Dual.

Both of them have good specs lets take a look:


As you can see in the video under the hood we have:

A 5.5-inch IPS display with 1920×1080 resolution.

A 64-bit MediaTek MTK6752 octa-core CPU at 1.7GHz.

A Mali 760 MP2 GPU.

2GB RAM.

16GB internal memory (microSD support).

Of course a Sony 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5 megapixel wide-angle (25mm wide) front camera with soft LED flash.

All of that powered by a 2,600mAh battery.

With Android 5.0 Lollipop and Xperia UI on top.

The Xperia C4 (Single SIM/Dual SIM) will be available in select markets from the beginning of June but we don’t have info regarding price tags.

#Shazam gets OK Google support by @Tiwaash #Android #music

OK Google has off course made life simpler and now combining with third party apps it is simplifying the tasks and making Android platform on par. The latest addition to this ever growing collection is the support for Shazam. All you need to have are the latest version of the Google app and the most up-to-date versions of the Shazam app from the Google Play Store.

You can get started with Shazam by simply saying “Ok Google, Shazam this song,” to have it search for a song immediately. This will save a user from opening the app and manually tapping the Shazam button to recognize the song. Now cards provide Android users with automatic Shazam updates through the Google Now feed. The Google Play integration makes it easier to play and buy music that users have discovered with the app, allowing direct purchasing from the online store. Users with a Google Play All Access subscription can also instantly stream Shazamed songs right from the app.

So recognising music is just ” OK Google ” away.
