Do we not have enough of these apps already? Perhaps not..
Dating apps seem to be a thing with all sorts literally, They all have the same idea but will vary and they are here to help you find a partner. For me they are no use nor have I heard much about people actually finding real love through these apps. From chatting amongst friends the likes of Tinder really provides you with one night stands which the same could be said for the likes of Plenty Of Fish…
What is Wynkthen and why is it different… A different approach, but end result is still the same…
Swipe right or left on activities you like or dislike respectively & then do the same for people. Once someone likes you in return & the same activity as you, you match! Simple, right?
Wynk comes with an array of awesome features to help you boost your post-match date rate & it’s all free to download & use!
So in short this app is based more so on your interests and things in common but lets be honest will people will use this for a quickie or for the real thing? Dating apps are still regarded as dodgy and we do not know who we are actually speaking too in some cases, however this has a more civil approach and the best way to start a date is with something in common which I would presume the majority of folk do bar the weirdos that lurk through these apps with a false identity.
Wynk do say….
At Wynk, we know the dating world can be scary. Which is why we’ve built a unique dating app that matches people based not only on mutual attraction but on common activities both parties express an interest in!
Want to try it out? Hit the respective app stores below and do let us know how you get on…
Lets be honest not having a seat or waiting on one is a pain in the backside, especially us techies at events.
The idea for SitPack came about whilst its inventor was standing around waiting for three hours for Prince to perform on stage at Roskilde festival in Denmark in 2010. He noticed thousands of people drinking cans of beer on clunky deckchairs that are thrown away after the festival and had the idea of fitting a chair into something the size of a beer can that can be taken anywhere.
Sitpack is an innovation, which makes high-adjustable seating possible. Sitpack is perfect for commuting or travelling, festivals, skiing, outdoor adventure, watching the kids play sport, golfing, fishing, hunting and additionally provides great functionality for photographers and a great supportive device for seniors. It can even be used at standing desks to some weight off your feet whilst still keeping blood flow to your legs.
Imagine the relief of popping out a foldable seat when your back and knees start aching whilst standing for long periods of time. Could be watching a band in concert or at a festival, queuing at customs, playing golf, when in the great outdoors, watching your child’s football or rugby match or even being dragged to the shopping centre – well imagine no more! Sitpack, the world’s most compact, foldable resting device is now available to purchase in the UK.
Winner of the Chicago Good Design Award 2016, Hamburg IF Design Award 2015, and Successful Design Award 2015 (China), Sitpack is a high-adjustable foldable seat, which, when folded, looks like a small, inconspicuous cylinder the size of a beer can. The real magic of Sitpack happens when you unfold the cylinder revealing a 13 inch wide seat, pull out the 34.25 inch telescopic leg which can be adjusted to your height and your seat awaits, letting you stay relaxed leaning in at eye level with your friends!
Made out of the same polycarbonate used in riot shields and bulletproof glass enforced with glassfiber, it is incredibly strong, light (less than 13 ounces) and does not need to be taken apart for recycling as it is made of one material. It can support the weight of over 286 lbs. so is suitable for people of all shapes and sizes and at only 16.8cm (inch or CM) tall and 6.6cm (inch or CM) in diameter, Sitpack can easily be carried in your pocket, your bag or as a stationary glove compartment accessories.
Sitpack is not all about portability though – it’s about convenience and health as it embodies the positive outcomes of resting with the right posture. Correct resting increases blood circulation and thereby your focus. It soothes a tired back and leaves only 30 percent body weight on the coccyx. The SitPack will keep your energy levels higher throughout the day, while stimulating muscles and balance.
Sitpack features a revolutionary system which after taking a few minutes to get the hang of locking each section securely, allows users to whip out the seat in seconds and, until now, no other seats have provided the same level of compact performance. The novelty lies in the engineering process, and finally, in the hands of the toolmakers. It takes 4.5 tonnes of high precision steel tools, to make Sitpack and the internal geometries in each tube only the best toolmakers can handle this task.
Available in five stylish colours, Sitpack is now available to purchase for £45 at www.sitpack.dk.

This popped up in my timeline over the weekend and got me thinking.
Its 2017 and our mobile phone is now more part of our daily lives than ever before. With the eCommerce boom social media browsing and email we are constantly glued to the dam things and as I have said before if you look in a coffee shop, restaurant or public transport we all have our heads buried in our phones not minding whats going on around us and this is a bad thing and its getting worse..
Siempo phone is due to launch this year via crowdfunding and its hear to tackle this very problem but in a more controlled manner, they see it as a mindful phone for the modern age….
Siempo is the first mindful phone that limits distractions, without compromising access to the modern services that we depend on – including synced contacts and calendar, group messaging and wifi tethering. Siempo is the only phone designed with your best intentions in mind, helping you be more focused, present and fulfilled.
Ok so we have no idea of the specs of this device but can it really be of value to anyone today? It says it will limit distractions, We can already limit ourselves from distraction with apps, there is flight mode and there is an off button on all phones, or we can simply just leave the dam phone at home..Yeah I know not as easy as it sounds….
Unless this phone has full control of how you use it and no way around it by the owner personally adjusting the settings for me its a pointless product. But then lets wait and see what it has to offer..
With built in headphones this is an all in one package.
Having tried, tested and now owning some 20 VR headsets now its nice to see how things are moving forward with Virtual Reality, Not only that how the actual HMDs (Head Mounted Displays) are moving forward too.
This is our 2nd VR headset from the guys over at Mobile Fun Ireland which we would like to thank before we talk some more on this nice piece of kit….
The packaging is simple to begin with and inside the headset rests in moulded plastic to keep it in place,Also we get some quick instructions and a cloth to wipe the eyelets should they steam up and of course to keep them clean.
The headset itself is quite cool and with the first one having built in headphones I was keen to get started and listen to the quality which turned out better than expected to be honest and its a pleasurable experience overall. I do also though recommend using headphones when using VR because it adds to the experience which enhances it overall.

Experience the virtual world through your smartphone
We now only need one device to book travel arrangements, complete our grocery shopping, map out a route to an unfamiliar location, catch up with our fix of news, take photographs, listen to music and translate text into foreign languages – and that’s just a small portion of what the modern smartphone can do. The typical adult is so enthralled by this handheld piece of electronic equipment that he/she will use it for 4 hours a day, with many of us becoming so dependent on our smartphones that we would struggle to execute several straightforward yet practical (and sometimes essential) tasks without the device’s help.
When you come across a situation where you’re unsure how to proceed next, or if the answer to a piece of trivia has your stumped, your response is quite likely to constitute taking out your phone to find the solution. It is tremendous to think that one device can solve so many everyday dilemmas, but sometimes the smartphone can be too convenient and we end up being transfixed on a screen of roughly six square inches, oblivious to the physical environment around us.
This infographic from Neon SMS (http://www.neonsms.ie/web-bulk-text.php) examines just how dependent we have become on our smartphones and suggests ways in which we can keep that dependency in check. The smartphone’s status as a powerful, multi-purpose communications device is undisputed. It’s our behaviour in using one that requires a rethink. Let’s see what the infographic has to say.
Twitter has problems, this is one of them and they have a lot more to do..
Twitter has announced new measures to tackle abuse and trolls on the platform today. However as it stands with the Micro Blogging site there is to much transparency issues throughout and this wont save them..They just wont listen to its core users…
We’re also introducing new filtering options for your notifications to give you more control over what you see from certain types of accounts, like those without a profile photo, unverified email addresses or phone numbers. Many people requested more filter options for their notifications, and we’re excited to bring these to everyone on Twitter.
We’re also expanding the mute feature to build on the work we did in November which lets you remove certain keywords, phrases, or entire conversations from your notifications. Now, you’ll be able to mute from your home timeline and you can decide how long this content is muted – one day, one week, one month, or indefinitely. This was another big request from you and we’re looking forward to rolling it out.
You can read their full post herebecause frankly when I see more transparency I will believe it…. Until then…
THINKWARE dash cams have recently added suction mounts as an accessory to their hugely successful range, you can find out more about their full range here.
THINKWARE has recently introduced a suction mount holding device into the UK market to allow its cameras to be much more portable and to be moved to different locations as required.
All the THINKWARE dash cams still come equipped with the 3M tape they have always had. This tape ensures that the legality of the dash cam placing is not an issue for customers. However, the addition of the optional suction mount accessory provides customers with the ability to move the dash cam from car to car.
Its discreet, compact design enables the camera to be mounted behind the rear view mirror minimising the encroachment on the driver’s field of view (NB more than 4cm is against the law).
So when going on holiday or driving a hire car, detach your camera from your car, pop the suction mount into your pocket, confident that you have the security and reassurance of using a THINKWARE dash cam in whatever car you are driving.
