The Esports Foundation (EF) has announced OBSBOT as the Official Camera and Webcam Partner for the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC), bringing its AI-powered imaging technology to the world’s largest esports and gaming event as it arrives in Paris this summer.
From July 6 through August 23, EWC 2026 will welcome more than 2,000 players and 200 Clubs from over 100 countries across 25 tournaments in 24 games. Throughout the seven-week competition, OBSBOT‘s cutting-edge technology will help capture the stories behind the competition, from player reactions and creator content to behind-the-scenes moments and championship celebrations.
At EWC 2026, more than 500 OBSBOT Tail 2 and Tiny 3 cameras will be deployed across all four competition stages and the Fan Fest festival grounds, supporting broadcasts, creator productions, player interviews, trainer footage and live event coverage, alongside interactive demonstrations and creator-focused activations at the festival.
Combining 4K imaging, AI-powered tracking and full NDI/SDI broadcast compatibility, the technology will help bring fans closer to the personalities that shape the competition. The same Tail 2 cameras used throughout EWC are available to streamers, content creators and esports Clubs worldwide, giving them access to the same professional-grade technology used on the esports’ biggest stage.
“Esports is built on stories,” said Mohammed Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer at the Esports Foundation. “Fans don’t just want to watch the action, they want to experience the emotion, intensity and personality that define every match. From the focus before the game begins to the reactions that follow every pivotal moment, OBSBOT helps us capture those authentic player moments and bring millions of fans closer to the competition through a richer, more immersive viewing experience.”
“We are thrilled to return as an EWC partner for a second consecutive year,” said Liu Bo, CEO of OBSBOT. “Esports has become one of the world’s most dynamic stages for live entertainment, where speed, precision, and creativity come together to shape how global audiences experience competition. At OBSBOT, we believe the future of live storytelling will be driven by intelligent imaging technologies that give creators and production teams greater freedom to capture every defining moment. Guided by our mission of achieving ‘Imaging Freedom for All’, we are proud to continue supporting EWC with our AI-powered imaging solutions and to help bring the energy of esports to fans around the world.”
OBSBOT will also host an interactive festival booth featuring camera challenges and live demonstrations, while supporting a real-time content creation programme capturing event highlights and player features for distribution across EWC and OBSBOT channels. In addition, OBSBOT cameras will provide documentary-style coverage from player lounges and mixed zone interview spaces, capturing pre-match preparation and post-game debriefs, alongside dedicated content production for esports Clubs and creators throughout the event.
The partnership builds on a successful collaboration at EWC 2025, where OBSBOT technology was used across some of the event’s most memorable moments, including the Opening Ceremony, the Ronaldo versus Kaká EA SPORTS FC Showmatch, EWC Boxing Night, and community events.
Founded in Shenzhen, China, OBSBOT has become a global leader in AI-powered imaging technology, with products available in more than 150 countries. With over 500 cameras deployed across EWC 2026, OBSBOT solidifies its position as the preferred imaging partner for the world’s most prestigious esports events. The partnership demonstrates the company’s commitment to democratizing professional-grade technology while establishing new standards for intelligent imaging in live entertainment.
