New Technologies That Can Help Improve The Life Expectancy Of The Irish

The downsides of the modern way of life are threatening the health of nations across the world. In Ireland alone, over 10,000 people died last year from cardiovascular-related diseases, and the most common cause of death was unpredictable strokes and heart failure.

However, there are promising signs of improvement with the help of technological advances that can increase the life expectancy of the nation. Keep on reading as we’ll discuss some of the new technologies on the way.

This table by this comparison website reveals that the Irish life expectancy past 65 is significantly lacking behind other countries. Of course, like with every new technology, these revolutionary approaches are often not available to everyone. The availability is rather due to scarce medical supplies than to a lack of sufficient funds. Scientists are working on commercializing these new technologies, reducing the costs of production, and improving the chance for everyone to use them. If the new approaches and discoveries are successful, chances are these technologies will be more available to many. Until then, many hospitals still have to make selective decisions on which patients are a priority to receive treatment.

MRI and CT scans

New improvements have been made in the field of CT and MRI scans. The new advancements are estimated to ease the diagnoses and discovery of hidden tumours and underlying issues. The standard scans came with flaws and establishing a correct diagnosis has been known to be an issue. Thankfully, the new advancements may allow for more precise and more accurate diagnoses, and with the early discovery of tumours and cancer cells, the treatments and their effectiveness will be increased.

Biopharmaceuticals

The number of prevalent diseases has risen over the years, despite the many advancements made, as simultaneously the number of factors contributing to the spreading of diseases has risen as well.

As the statistics suggested, in Ireland alone, over 40,000 people are fighting these diseases each year. The biopharmaceutical industry has had an astonishing rise in the last decade. The technology behind it allows for more effective treatment of metabolic diseases and even cancer. These technologies rely on living cells, modified through cutting-edge methods. The range of diseases treatable with the technology is astonishingly broad. The modified organisms or cells are used in the treatment of cancerous cells, allergies, inflammatory tissue, and gene therapies. The treatment is specifically meant for rare disorders, but also represents an effective method of fighting cancer.

Control and management

We have so far listed the most common health concerns and issues such as cardiovascular problems, strokes, tumours, and genetic disorders. However, another common problem has become diabetes, which approximately 6% of the population of Ireland deal with. Thankfully, with sensors and insulin checkers, regulating your sugar levels has never been easier and more effective.

Better control over the issues allows for a more effective treatment. And trackers and sensors are also available for other issues: respiratory monitoring, cardiac monitoring, and health monitoring of the body during invasive treatments, like chemo. Wearables now can allow people to track the pulse and overall condition of their body.

The control and management of such serious conditions, and even the regular control of healthy individuals, will drastically reduce death outcomes and allow longer life and more productive ones.

These bright numbers suggest a better future for the vast portion of the population. Over 200,000 individuals in Ireland have been successful in treating cancer and surviving after several sessions of chemo and radiation. Surviving a stroke or heart attack has become standard with checkers monitoring cardiac disease and with bypass operations having an almost 100% success rate. The future looks optimistic, and we can only hope the best is yet to come.

Businesses Investing in Bitcoins: Top Companies Investing in Bitcoins

In the past decade, the number of people investing in cryptocurrency or Bitcoin has grown exponentially. Its use cases and investments are so widely spread that people speculate that it can become the next global reserve currency or widely accepted asset, just like gold.

Bitcoin investment can give massive profits, but due to its volatility many are still apprehensive about investing in it. There is no denying that bitcoin is a risky investment instrument, but it is much more stable compared to back when it originated in 2012, now in 2022.

As the use case of bitcoin is growing, the traditional finance segment of the world realizes that they would either must start adopting this currency or will start facing irrelevance. Seeing this, many businesses have started adding Bitcoin to their investment portfolios.

Reasons why businesses are investing in Bitcoin

Hedge against currency inflation

Currency value fluctuates equally with the inflation level. But such is not the case with digital assets like Bitcoin. For example, when doing international business and the value of the domestic currency drops due to inflation, it is a loss. On the other hand, bitcoins have global values which do not move with a single country’s inflation. Thus, the business is hedged against inflation by having bitcoins in its portfolios.

Less transaction cost burden

Doing monetary transactions usually leads to paying additional processing fees. Banks charge it as a service fee for completing the transaction instead of the parties. But cryptocurrencies do not have a governing authority. There are zero or very minimal transaction fees. The more businesses start transacting using bitcoin, the lesser money will be lost as transaction fees.

More transparency in business transactions

Transparency is one of the best characteristics of bitcoin, and it is also why the currency is widely accepted by many platforms and even used for transactions. Every transaction using this digital currency is recorded in a public ledger and is visible to all but is also unchangeable. This makes it impossible to commit fraud and does any manipulation. Thus, now it is time for even businesses to benefit from this feature.

Invite more customers

As more and more people are getting involved with bitcoin, businesses should start accepting the currency as a payment mode to get them onboard. Adding this digital currency as a payment option can increase the customer base by around forty per cent.

Changing with the time

Looking at the pace with which bitcoin is becoming a mode of transaction and an investment option, its technology is also changing. Therefore, it becomes mandatory for businesses to adopt bitcoin to stay afloat on the market.

Top companies investing in bitcoin

Several institutional investors are buying bitcoins and among these are some very known public companies. Here’s the thing, investing in a public company with bitcoin in its portfolio will expose one to the bitcoin market. Such a strategy can deem profitable in many ways.

Here’s a list of top public companies investing in bitcoin

MicroStrategy

MicroStrategy has embraced bitcoin as its primary reserve asset. Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, believes that the return on gold as a reserve asset is not as profitable as bitcoin.

Tesla

Tesla has also joined the party of companies that hold a significant bitcoin. The company CEO, Elon Musk, even sold 10% of bitcoin holding in 2021 to prove that the currency is as liquid as holding cash in hand.

Voyager Digital LTD

Voyager is a crypto brokerage firm that approximately holds 12,260 BTC. The company’s CEO, Stevan Ehrlich, witnessed increased adoption of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as an investable asset and upgraded to become a cryptocurrency brokerage platform.

Galaxy Digital Holdings

Galaxy Digital Holdings is a merchant bank wholly focused on the crypto industry and is counted as the largest institutional holder of Bitcoin. The institution was founded in 2018, and the founder, Micheal Novogratz, encourages crypto investments and advises to stay cautious of its volatility.

Block, Inc.

Formally known as Square, Block is also a major institutional investor of Bitcoin. Its first bitcoin investment was in 2020, and since then, it has continued to deal in this digital currency actively. One reason behind this is the CEO, Jack Dorsey, claims to be a bitcoin advocate.

So, if one feels that they are missing out on some big profits by not investing in bitcoin, they can get started through trusted platforms like crypto software. As a beginner, one should do complete research before following these large institutional investors.

Valeo has Produced its 100 millionth Camera at its Tuam site in Ireland

Valeo has produced its one hundred millionth automotive nearfield camera, which gives the car its rear and surround vision, at its Tuam site in Ireland (around 850 employees). The first camera rolled off the Irish production lines in 2002. Eight years later, in 2010, one million units were delivered to customers. In 2013, the ten-millionth camera threshold was hit, and in 2015, the figure doubled to 20 million. Between 2015 and 2018, output increased 30-fold compared with the first eight years, with 30 million cameras manufactured in three years, for a total of 50 million. The four years between 2018 and 2022 saw total production double and cross the 100 million camera mark. The Tuam site is at the heart of this industrial success, to which three other Valeo plants around the world have contributed (another in Europe, one in North America, one in Asia).

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Trade & Employment, Leo Varadkar TD, declares: “Congratulations to the entire Valeo team on this really significant milestone at the company’s Tuam site. Since 2007, Valeo has created approximately 600 jobs in Galway. Reaching one hundred million cameras is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the expertise and talent of every member of staff. I’m really happy to hear of the company’s plans to do more, to further increase camera production over the next four years and wish the team continued success.”

“From a small, innovative and dynamic company, capable of being the leading camera supplier to automakers in Europe in the early 2000s, the Tuam site, acquired by Valeo in 2007, has transformed into a global giant in the field of vehicle vision,” said Marc Vrecko, President of Valeo’s Comfort and Driving Assistance Systems Business Group. “And things are about to move up another gear. We now plan to produce more than 20 million cameras a year and globally deliver as many units to our automaker customers in the next four years as we did in the last 15, meaning another 100 million cameras by 2026.”

These 100 million cameras would not have been possible if Valeo had not successfully accomplished three revolutions. The first was in the field of industrial performance, where mass production made high-tech systems widely accessible across the world. Then came the safety and comfort revolution, which made it possible to see what was previously invisible and thereby ensure safer and easier mobility. Last was the intelligence revolution, when artificial intelligence algorithms and the associated software became core components of Valeo’s vision systems, enabling new capabilities such as through-the-body vision and autonomous parking and driving features.

Valeo has an extensive Research and Development center integrated into the Tuam site with a wide range of Product and Process Engineering skills in Mechatronics, Systems & Software as well as Test and Validation. More than 70% of its staff are engineers with coding expertise who have developed innovative features for the automotive industry. One example is image fusion technology, which creates a single snapshot from multiple video sources. This is how today, when drivers in many cars around the world shift into reverse, they can see their vehicle as if it were filmed from above by a drone – even though no such drone exists. The stream of images filmed, recorded and processed by artificial intelligence provides enough data for cars to reach level 2+ automation. In 2022, an important worldwide Valeo customer will release a vehicle equipped with this smart camera. It will have advanced assistance and automation features, both for parking (low-speed maneuvers) and for driving.

Today, Valeo’s cameras are set apart by their miniaturization, accuracy (providing a sharp image in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C with a resolution of up to 3 megapixels) and precision (manufacturing down to the micrometer), as well as by their computing power, which has taken on as much importance as optics. Altogether, this makes Valeo, and its Tuam site, a world leader in automotive vision. It is, in some respects, the application of mathematician Isaac Newton’s February 1675 quote: “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants”.

Valeo is already number one in the world in advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), equipping one in three new cars globally with its technologies, and intends to accelerate even further in this field. Its cameras play an essential role in this acceleration. The Group announced this objective in February 2022 with the launch of its Move Up plan, the value creation strategy at the heart of the four megatrends that are disrupting mobility (electrification, ADAS, reinvention of the interior experience and lighting).

How Strobing Lights Can Enhance Your Events

Are you looking for a way to enhance your events and make them more memorable? If so, strobing lights may be the solution you are looking for! Strobing lights create an intense effect that can really capture people’s attention. Not only are they visually appealing, but they can also create an exciting atmosphere that will keep guests entertained. They can be used at any type of event, from weddings to corporate events. In this blog post, we will discuss the benefits of strobing lights and how they can be used to create a stunning visual experience for your guests!

What strobing lights are and how do they work?

Strobing lights are a type of lighting that emit short, powerful bursts of light. They are often used in clubs and other nightlife settings to create an energetic atmosphere.

Strobing lights work by flashing on and off very quickly, so quickly that the human eye is unable to see them as a continuous light. Instead, they appear as a series of quick flashes. This creates an effect that is often called “strobing”.

Strobing lights typically use LEDs, which are light-emitting diodes. LEDs are able to produce quick pulses of light by turning on and off very rapidly. This rapid pulsing creates the illusion of sustained light, even though the individual pulses are very brief.

The benefits of using strobing lights for events

Strobing lights are used to create an effect that makes it seem as if the light is ‘strobing’ or flashing on and off. This creates an interesting visual effect that can be used for events, such as parties, to make them more exciting.

Strobing lights have a few benefits. First, they can help to attract attention and create excitement. Second, they can be used to create an illusion of movement or depth. Third, they can be used to improve the visibility of event space. Lastly, strobing lights can also be used to create a sense of fun and excitement.

Different ways to use strobing lights to enhance your event

There are a few different ways to use strobing lights to enhance your event. You can use them as a way to create excitement and energy among your guests, or you can use them to highlight specific areas or aspects of your event.

For example, if you want to create an energetic atmosphere, you can place strobing lights around the perimeter of your event space. This will help create a flashing effect that will grab people’s attention and get them excited about what’s going on. Alternatively, if you want to focus attention on a particular part of your events such as the stage or the dance floor, you can place strobing lights in those areas.

How to choose the right strobing light for your event?

When selecting a strobing light for your event, it’s important to consider the size of the space and the type of effect you’re hoping to create. Larger spaces can accommodate more powerful lights, while smaller spaces may require a more subtle effect.

Small spaces can be overwhelmed by too much light, so it’s important to choose a strobe that has a lower output. If you’re looking for an eye-catching effect, go with a strobe that has a higher output.

It’s also important to take into account the color of the light. Some strobes produce white light while others produce colored light. If your event is themed, choose a strobe with the appropriate color for your theme.

Planning and preparing for your event with strobing lights

When you’re planning an event with strobing lights, there are a few things you need to keep in mind.

First, make sure that the venue you’re using is prepared for the lights. This means ensuring that the ceiling and walls are white or light-colored, as dark surfaces can absorb and reflect light differently than lighter ones.

Additionally, you’ll need to make sure that any curtains or other materials covering windows are also light-colored, as darker fabrics can make strobing lights appear even brighter and more intense.

Finally, it’s important to provide guests with a warning before the event so that they can be prepared for the lights and know what to expect.

How to set up and control the lighting effects?

There are a few ways to create strobing lighting effects. One way is by using a dimmer switch to slowly change the brightness of your lights. Another way is by using a controller that can be programmed to change the light patterns.

If you want to create strobing effects with regular lightbulbs, you can use a dimmer switch to vary the brightness of the light. You can also buy special controllers that allow you to create custom light patterns. These controllers usually have a display screen that lets you see what the light will look like before you actually run it.

Tips for using strobing lights to enhance your event experience

By using strobing lights, you can create an exciting and energetic atmosphere that will keep your guests entertained. Here are a few tips for using strobing lights effectively:

  1. Make sure the venue is dark enough so that the strobing lights will be visible.
  2. Use a mix of colors to create a varied and interesting effect.
  3. Keep the light patterns simple so that they are easy to follow.
  4. Avoid using too many strobing lights at once, or it may be too overwhelming for guests.
  5. Experiment with different light speeds and intensities to find what works best for you.

Take a Closer Look at the Challenges of Growing a Business

As a business owner, you know that growing your company is no easy task. It takes hard work, dedication, and perseverance to achieve success. But what are the specific challenges you face when growing your business? And what can you do to overcome them? This blog post will take a closer look at the challenges of growing a business.

Finding New Customers

One of the biggest challenges businesses face is enlarging the circle of customers. With more competition than ever before, it can be challenging to stand out from the crowd and attract new business. You need to get creative and think outside the box to find new customers.

Try using social media, online advertising, or even word-of-mouth marketing to reach a wider audience. Once you’ve found new customers, you need to keep them returning. This can be challenging, as it’s often easier (and cheaper) for customers to switch to a competitor.

To retain customers, you need to provide them with excellent customer service and value for their money. It would help if you also made it easy for them to do business with you, whether that means having a user-friendly website or offering flexible payment options.

Increasing Competition in the Industry

As your business grows, you will likely face more competition. This can be a challenge, as you need to find ways to differentiate yourself from your competitors. To stand out from the crowd, you need to offer something unique that your customers can’t find anywhere else.

Business experts emphasize creating a solid brand that customers will remember. Additionally, you need to make sure your prices are competitive and that you offer excellent customer service. The team at Venture Smarter emphasizes the fact that knowing your competitors more is elemental. This makes you understand their moves and how to be ahead of the pack. By offering a superior product or service, you can stay ahead of the competition and keep your business growing.

The Demands of a Growing Workforce

As your business grows, you will likely need new employees to keep up with demand. This can be a challenge, as you need to find qualified workers who are a good fit for your company culture. You also need to make sure you can afford to pay them a competitive salary. Once you’ve hired new employees, you need to train them and help them get up to speed with your company’s products or services.

Besides, growing a business also makes payroll management issues complex. As your company grows, you will likely need to hire more employees, which can be costly. You also need to make sure you can afford to pay them a competitive salary. In addition, you need to manage all the different payroll tax obligations. Although it may seem like a difficult task, there are techniques to make it simpler. To free up some of your time so you can concentrate on the more crucial aspects of the business, you might want to think about outsourcing your payroll.

More Cash Flow Control Needs

Another specific challenge businesses face is managing cash flow. As your business grows, you will likely need to invest more money in inventory, equipment, and other resources. This can strain your finances, as you may need to take out loans or use credit to cover the costs.

One of the best ways to manage your cash flow is to keep track of your spending and budget. You may also need to offer discounts or payment plans to customers to encourage them to pay on time. Additionally, you can try to negotiate better terms with your suppliers or vendors. By being proactive and managing your finances effectively, you can keep your business afloat during tough times.

Keeping the Supply Chain Running

As your business grows, you will likely need to source materials and products from suppliers. This can be a challenge, as you need to find reliable suppliers who can provide you with the items you need at a reasonable price. You should also have enough inventory on hand to meet customer demand.

If you’re having trouble finding suppliers, you can try attending trade shows or networking events. You can also search online directories or use supplier sourcing websites. Once you’ve found potential suppliers, vet them carefully to ensure they are reputable and reliable.

Dealing with Red Tape

This can include everything from filing for permits and licenses to complying with regulations. Dealing with red tape can be time-consuming and frustrating, but it’s essential to do your research and make sure you are compliant. Otherwise, you could face hefty fines or even shut down your business.

Investing in automation software can help you never skip any regulatory requirements. Automation software can automate tracking regulatory changes and ensure your business is always compliant. This can save you time and money and help you avoid costly fines. For instance, you can find a business tool to cater to your tax and accounting duties.

Growing a business is not without challenges, but it can be an enriching experience. By being aware of the challenges you may face, you can be better prepared to deal with them. Additionally, you can save time and money by investing in automation software while ensuring your business is always compliant. With careful planning and execution, you can overcome any obstacle and keep your business growing.

Bird and Drinkaware Team Up To Prevent ‘Drink Riding’ #escooters

Bird, a leader in micro-mobility, and Drinkaware, the national charity working to prevent alcohol misuse in Ireland, today announced plans to roll out  a public awareness campaign as soon e-scooters are legalised for use on public roads by the Road Traffic and Roads Bill 2021. The Bill is currently making its way through the Oireachtas, and according to the Government’s recent Sustainable Mobility Strategy*, will be in place by the end of this year. The campaign will aim to encourage the Irish public to adopt a safety-first approach to riding e-bikes and e-scooters, and will complement the draft legislation, which sets out fines of up to €2,000 for the consumption of alcohol while using such vehicles.

Campaign imagery encouraging safe riding will soon be visible in cities and towns across Ireland. In conjunction with this, Bird plans to roll-out its Safe Start feature as soon as it launches services in Ireland. This in-app ‘checkpoint’ is designed to discourage people from riding under the influence and is already used by its riders all over the world. Between the hours of 10pm and 4am, riders attempting to unlock a Bird e-scooter or e-bike will be asked to verify that they can safely handle the vehicle by correctly entering a keyword into the app.

International data attests to the popularity and safety of e-scooters and e-bikes, and continues to  show that cars remain the biggest threat to Irish road users, with a documented incident rate of 1 in 20,000 trips. Bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters have a documented incident rate involving medical treatment of less than 1 in 50,000 trips*, but research shows that up to 30% of all cyclist accidents involve alcohol.* Bird and Drinkaware will therefore be campaigning to ensure that the public understands the dangers of using any form of micro-mobility while under the influence of alcohol.

In the meantime, Bird and Drinkaware are urging e-bike riders to avoid riding while under the influence this May Bank Holiday. Any alcohol impairs judgement, making users physically unsteady and impeding their reaction times.

Victoria Springthorpe, Head of Ireland and UK Public Policy at Bird: “Safety is always our no.1 priority and so we’re thrilled to partner with Drinkaware, a leading voice on road safety in Ireland, to educate and prepare people ahead of the legalisation of e-scooters. Sometimes it’s just a case of simply reminding people of the risks, to prevent an unsafe situation.”

Sheena Horgan, CEO of Drinkaware: “Drinkaware welcomes the opportunity to partner with Bird on a campaign that ensures public safety and an understanding of the risks of drink riding. From our interactions with the public we know that there is high demand for information on drink driving, and our webpage on drink driving is consistently in the top 5 pages viewed on drinkaware.ie. New forms of transport are entering our country and we need to ensure that the public are aware of how to use these forms of transport safely and responsibly. The Department of Transport’s draft legislation sets out fines of up to €2,000 for the consumption of alcohol while using e-bikes and e-scooters.  As with other policies regarding other modes of transport, the efficacy of the legislation can be boosted by a supportive public education campaign.”

This is the second safety initiative launched by Bird this year, after the company announced a partnership in January with the Irish School of Excellence, Ireland’s largest driver education programme, to establish Ireland’s first E-scooter Safety course. This course is set to be rolled out across Ireland when the Roads Traffic and Roads Bill 2021 becomes law. Covering almost 80% of schools nationally, it will have a wide reach and provide pupils with an overview of the law governing e-scooters; a guide on how to ensure pedestrian safety while using e-scooters; tuition on starting and moving off safely, as well as a tutorial on how to park safely.

Tech Review – HiFiMan TWS 800 true wireless earbuds

HiFiMan is a brand that delivers high quality audio headphones and more and we can stand by that having tested some of their products, recently we checked out their Deva Pro headphones, having said that matching earbuds to headphones is not really fair and it is not yet possible to deliver the same experience just yet but we are heading that direction and the TWS 800 are not cheap either so how do they stand up to the competition? Missed the unboxing experience see HERE

Build and design

These are probably one of the best built pair of earbuds so far this year and even in recent times I have tested these will last they look cool and are robust and this is where several asked how can I change tracks and so on with the build on the earbuds, turns outs they are a bit on the sensitive side even for the materials used here. they are solid and will last, enough said.

Controls

The controls as mentioned area bit on the sensitive side here but you do get the hang of them and consider the material it is a wonder how they work at all you have your usual tap 1,2 or 3 times to execute a command which we show you in the video review below, on putting them in the ears you might also be prone to doing something, mostly pausing the tracks but still they work well albeit sensitive you have got your pause/play skip/reverse tracks and volume control, you also have access to your voice assistant too which gives you all the basics.

Sound

There is no app here which lets them down and at this price point they should really have one as the sound is flat overall now this might suit some but for me at this price it does not, they are loud enough and punchy with some bass thrown in, highs lows and mids are present with some direction I found them very centred and they are actually good listening to audio books and the likes, ie voices, it is crisp and clear and true to life like if you will, but the sound could have been better with an amp built in and I am sure an app will fix that but that is just my ears and everyone else is different.

HiFiMan TWS 800 techbuzzireland

Overall though I still come back to these, like I said everyone’s ears are different but you tend to find quirks with certain music, I did try the usual test loop I do which is all genres and so on and they just have something about them be it their looks and that charging case which is really cool they still have a decent sound in general but certainly not for the audiophile this time around.

Features

  • ★ With Built-in Amp and Audiophile-grade Drivers for true Hi-Fi output; Hi-tech Magnet providing outstanding performance and sound quality; 150Ohms High Impedance Alloy Voice Coil for unmatched clarity and full range sonic clarity
  • ★ Great-sounding Bluetooth with HIFIMAN Topology Diaphragm The “Topology Diaphragm” refers to a diaphragm with a special Nano particle coating applied to its surface. The distribution of the coating has distinct geometric patterns. By varying the surface pattern and the compound used, the thickness or geometric pattern sound wave formation can be manipulated to achieve the desired audio effect and control. Detailed and natural high-frequency reproduction
  • ★ Metal casing brings better frequency response and lower THD. Long Communication Distance – keeps the Antenna design of TWS800. IPX4 Water and Dust resistant; 23dB passive noise-cancelling technology; Touch Control
  • ★ 4.5 Hours on a single charge. 31.5 Hours with charging case. The charging case supplies up to six complete charges.
  • ★ Ergonomic design, 6.9g – light and comfortable; Best fit for maximum comfort over hours of listening. HIFIMAN’s experience in custom-fit earphones is evident in the TWS800. Charging case easily holds the largest ear tips by increasing the inner space. Eight pairs of ear tips in the package.

Future Human, the most inclusive and forward-looking event in the world, will return to Dublin on May 12th and 13th this year. The event will gather some of the world’s leading thinkers on the most significant issues facing society today and into the future including science, AI, climate action, security, business, health, workplaces and the arts.

As one of Europe’s leading sci-tech and arts event, Future Human will feature a range of high-profile international speakers in a series of discussions and talks in the state-of-the-art Trinity Business School building School on Pearse Street in Dublin, where some 3,000 attendees are expected, as well as online attendees.

Speakers at the event will include Eric Andersen, President of Aon, and Des Traynor, co-founder of Irish Unicorn, Intercom, as well as academic speakers like Professor Alice Roberts, perhaps best known for her 100+ TV appearances in the UK on shows such as  BBC’s The Incredible Human Journey and Prehistoric Autopsy.

Kevin Abosch, a conceptual artist and crypto-art pioneer, will also participate in discussions about the intersection between art and technology, and the exponential rise in popularity of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) in recent times.

Bharat Krish, President of TIME Digital will also be one of this year’s speakers after recently being named CTO of TIME in 2020.

Yuliya Garycha, senior digital advisor to the Ukrainian Government, who recently fled to Cork with her five-year old daughter to escape the war, will join Neill Dunwoody co-founder of Tech Link Ukraine, and IT Ukraine Executive Director Konstantin Vasyuk on a timely panel on the Future of Ukraine.
