Tech Review – AENO RC2S Robot Vacuum Cleaner

The AENO RC2S Robot Vacuum Cleaner is an affordable piece of kit your home should have especially if you hate doing the cleaning which is why most of my place is done in flooring but not only that the hoovering is a chore most do not like to do but has to be done and if you have a pet even  more so on a regular basis, The vacuum cleaner works effectively with all types of surfaces: carpets, laminate, parquet, tiles and other surfaces that might be useful for the user. You can check out a first look at it here for all the parts etc.

This Vacuum cleaner not only maps you the ares required to be cleaned but you a hoover and wash with the same product meaning less clutter and cables and it has a home base with its own charge station and returns home when low on power and not only that it comes with an app so you are in full control of what does on which is handy.

It is on the large size however this is average if you have seen any similar products out there or some of the ones we previously check out on site you would be best to find a good permanent spot for it in my opinion and then you will not encounter any problems.

The set up can take a few minutes and there is several buttons up on top of the unit and it is pretty simple to use once you get to grips with how it all works via the app or unit itself.

There are two removable trays on the cleaner one for dirt and one for washing which simply swaps out making it easy giving you more room than ones that come with both built in. On the underside you will see the wheels and brushes and on the outer ring there is the bumper loaded with sensors allowing you to get the harder spots done like under tables and chairs etc.

The product is not that hard to get to know via the app you can of course just hit the start/power button on the unit itself and let it do what you have set up on the app which I think is the easy option, you can abort a cleaning return it for charge and more and when the battery runs low it auto returns to base.

I found it to work well with objects and no issues to report there was no hassle picking up any dirt or grime and then you could run the mop over it after use and the brushes keep moving with it, the trays are simple to remove and you can get a bottom floor complete in your house if say the sitting room runs into the kitchen for example and it handles objects in the way well not that mine where large anyway but most houses are the same now.

The App is both available on Android and iOS and tested on both and there seems to be no difference between both in my testing the app is simple to use and works well and keeps track of all the details and lets you know when something needs adjusting or changing you can also reset items in the wear part of the app should you need to swap brushes or fabric mop etc.

Tech Review – Xiaomi Mi Vacuum Cleaner Mini (EU)

Portable Vacuum devices are kinda popular these days and we have reviewed some here before on the site and they do a good job and can be used at home or in the car, this model here can be used for both and most geared towards your car in my opinion and it will not be as strong as a convention hoover you would have in your house.

That being said it has enough power to clean up a mess really quickly in a hurry and get the most of it up and is ideal for removing dust from shelves and so on, even more it is great for cleaning you keys on your computer which is where I spend much of my time and it can get grubby with crumbs and other bits of food which is a habit I need to drop but now this little guy is here to save the days o that habit may not change after all..

This is a simple to use and clean product and very portable and is charged with USB-C which is good to see and you get two parts inside the box to get to work straight away, the top simply flips open and you can empty the tray and the job is done without getting your hands dirty, the filter comes in two parts and can also be removed and washed so you can use it again and again though over time it might be an idea to change the inner filter as the outer one prevents big particles getting in and the inside on stops the particles, it is a clever set-up.

You will get about 30 mins use out of it (10 continuous) which is not bad considering its size and it can be stored anywhere, even in your car glove box and can be charged via your own charger inside your car via the cable provided. So for me it is handy to have it and will most likely stay in one of my vehicles here not worried about having to move it into the home either for doing the more delicate dusting jobs.

It is not as quite like most hoovers are and it’s not the loudest either from what I have tested before and in fact quieter than the previous ones reviewed. Overall it is a handy little gadget to have at your disposal and looks great to as when people first seen it here they could not figure out what it was until I revealed the details on the bottom of the box..

Xiaomi expands Smart Life ecosystem by bringing a wide range of AIoT products to its European markets

TechBuzzIreland was present at the Discover Xiaomi 2023′ European launch event, held today in Milan, the company announced new AIoT products to enhance the smart experience indoors and outdoos. Among the novelties presented are four new vacuum products, Xiaomi Robot Vacuum E12 (E10 in Ireland), S12 (S10 in Ireland), S10+, X10 and X10+; Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 and 4 Lite, which expand the range of products dedicated to smart mobility; and Xiaomi Pad 6, the all-in-one, powerful and versatile tablet ideal for work and leisure. We had a chance to take a look at pretty much everything what the company has to offer and there is some really cool tech building an excellent ecosystem.

Xiaomi also reveals new scooters and the Xiaomi Pad 6 and again we had some hands on with these at the event and cast your mind back to the first e-scooter the brand launched which flew off the shelves and i have had one myself.

Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 and 4 Lite: Ride in comfort

Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 line-up expands with two new models, Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 and 4 Lite, respectively equipped with a 600W and 300W motor capable of reaching a maximum speed of 20km/h2 . With a capacity of 7,650mAh, Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 is able to cover distances of up to 35 km on a single charge, easily overcoming gradients of up to 16%. The capacity of 4 Lite version, on the other hand, is 5,200mAh, providing a range of 20km.

The drum brake on the rear wheel of Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Lite, together with the E-ABS system on the front wheel, reduce the braking distance, thus ensuring greater safety. Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4, on the other hand, features an improved dual-action disc brake on the rear wheel for optimised control efficiency; together with the E-ABS system on the front wheel, the braking distance will be much shorter.

Both products can be connected to the Xiaomi Home app via Bluetooth to check speed and charge in real time, update firmware and monitor driving data.

Xiaomi Pad 6: Built for work, designed for ease

Xiaomi Pad 6 features a thinner and lighter unibody design compared to the previous version and an elegant metal finish. The device is powered by Snapdragon 870 Mobile Platform and is equipped with an 11″ LTPS LCD screen with WQHD+ resolution, up to 144Hz refresh rate, 309 ppi, Dolby Vision® and HDR10 support.

Xiaomi Pad 6 features a 13MP main camera and an 8MP front camera, and is equipped with quad speakers for immersive stereo sound thanks to Dolby Atmos, which guarantees the best experience. The battery has a capacity of 8,840mAh (typ), providing up to 16 hours of video playback, and supports 33W fast charging. Furthermore, thanks to the USB 3.2 Gen 1 supporting speeds of up to 5Gbps and 4K video output at 60fps with DP interface, transferring files to your laptop will be even easier and faster.

Thanks to MIUI Pad 14, the software of the device is optimised to offer the best connectivity and new ‘conference tools’5 such as noise cancellation or the ability to keep faces centred during video conferences by following their movements thanks to the FocusFrame function. Xiaomi Pad 6 is therefore a very versatile device and thanks to the Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd generation) and Xiaomi Pad 6 Keyboard, the experience can be even smarter! Comfortable then for working, watching videos or movies on the go, but also taking notes in university or drawing outdoors.

The Xiaomi Pad 6 will be available on the European market in three colour variants – Champagne, Gravity Gray and Mist Blue. Prices and availability will be unveiled when sales start as of now the device is not scheduled to release in Ireland

Tech Review – OMOTON vacuum and magnetic phone car mount

Car/vehicle mounts for your phone are a plenty these days and we have covered many here before this one however is slightly different and offers you the full use of your phone when parked up o setting up navigation before you head off on a trip and so on. So what is different you have the benefit or both sa suction cup and a magnet and what this means your device is ultra secure and will not fall off even when you go over a bad bump and it works as we have tried and tested it for some time to make this claim.

Not only that this sits in on your vent and locks into place and there is a ledge on the back of the mount that hooks around your vent so again it will not fall off making it secure here too and again your mount will not fall off nor your smartphone which makes it an ideal piece of kit for anyone vehicle and for me is the most solid one yet to date I have tested and you should check it out..
