Roborock Saros 10 robotic vacuum cleaner review

The Roborock Saros 10 robotic vacuum cleaner is the premium product from the company that just launched in Ireland recently however there is cheaper models avaiable which is great for the consumer giving them choice and a product for their needs which is something I like.

If you want to keep your floors clean this includes those who have pets this is the machine you need full stop and it worked perfeclty during my testing and there was lots to test on this.

The unit itself is an average size compared to other vacuums we have tested here and fits nicely in any spot in your room once set up as you will see in the full hands-on demo below it is simpe to use. It also looks like a premium device and that it is with what it can do.

The Roborock app is excellent one of the best I have used for such a product in along time and once set up the vacuum leaves its docks scans the rooms and comes back and is ready to rock. There is some buttons on the vacuum itself but I think you will find there is no need to only for setting up.

The navigation process is fun to watch this can go onto multiple levels like carpets or door dividers for example and it avoid obsticles with great accuarcy in the video below you will see it put to the test and watch it not touch a press door or anything it is super precise in what it does.

There is also a built in camera that can be used at home or remotley with the ability to speak through it and this is excellent and could also be used to keep an eye on things should you wish the speaker is crystal clear and the video feedback very clear with little buffering, this may depend on your internet connection and time of day.

There is also a remote control on board which is fun to you so if you are bored you can clean the entire house yourself with your mobile phone which defeats the purpose but it is great to have and I love it and we need to see more of this, recently I done a garden mower with the same feature.

There is two brushes underneath a cloth base and arm and of course a big brush all these work well in tandem and give good results after putting dirt on the floor, with some vacuums the main sweeper brush tended to push dirt away but not with the Saros 10 it picked up and cleaned everything.

Check out the video below for a proper look and what the Roborock Saros 10 can do you will be impressed and to date the best robotic vacuum I have tried, it might seem expensive for some but this is worthy of the expense and the company taking things to a new level.

The Roborock App

Features

Designed to redefine what a premium robot vacuum can be, Saros 10 combines ultra-slim engineering, powerful suction, intelligent navigation, and advanced dock automation. With industry-leading obstacle handling, precision mopping, and one of the quietest cleaning performances Roborock has ever achieved, Saros 10 delivers a truly next-level, hands-free cleaning experience.

Ultra-Thin 7.98cm Design with RetractSense™ Navigation

The RetractSense™ Navigation System lowers the LDS sensor to pass through low-clearance spaces and raises it again in open areas, enabling the slimmest Roborock design yet at just 7.98cm. Built for durability, this system is rated for tens of thousands of cycles and thousands of testing hours.

Advanced LiDAR Vision & Smart Height Detection

A wide-angle vision module ensures the LDS sensor maintains a broad field of view even when retracted, preventing mapping loss in tight spaces. The upward range finder and top contact sensor intelligently measure clearance height in real time, helping Saros 10 avoid forced entry and reduce the risk of surface scratches.

AdaptiLift™ Chassis for Barrier Crossing

Featuring the industry-first AdaptiLift™ Chassis, Saros 10 can overcome thresholds up to 4cm high. By lifting its omni wheels and drive wheels, the robot automatically adapts its crossing strategy, ensuring smooth, uninterrupted cleaning across doorways and uneven surfaces.

Chassis Lifting for High-Pile Carpets

When cleaning high-pile carpets, Saros 10 elevates its chassis by up to 10mm to reduce suction port blockages caused by long fibres. This feature can be enabled via the Roborock App for optimal performance.

DuoDivide® Dual Anti-Tangle Brush System

The DuoDivide® main brush transports collected hair to the centre inlet, where a differential brush speed strips and separates bundled hair before powerful suction removes it. Paired with the FlexiArm Riser side brush, the system achieves a 0% hair tangling rate, even in pet-heavy environments.

FlexiArm Riser Side Brush for Complete Edge Cleaning

The asymmetrical spiral side brush uses centrifugal force to direct debris toward the suction inlet, while a soft rubber baffle prevents hair from wrapping. Longer bristles increase coverage, and the brush automatically retracts after lifting to avoid furniture collisions.

22,000Pa HyperForce® Suction

Delivering up to 22,000Pa of HyperForce® suction power, Saros 10 provides exceptional debris pickup and achieves a 100% hair removal rate on carpets under test conditions.

VibraRise® 4.0 Mopping System

The VibraRise® 4.0 mopping system features a denser, more absorbent mop with dual sonic vibration zones operating up to 4,000 vibrations per minute. With up to 8N downward pressure and a 26% larger vibration area, it delivers superior stain removal on hard floors.

Automatic Mop Detaching & Independent Side Mop Lifting

In modes where mopping is not needed, such as Vacuum Only or Vacuum Carpets First, the vibrating mop automatically detaches to keep carpets dry. The edge mop can also lift independently, lowering only when detected near edges to deliver precise edge-cleaning performance.

Reactive AI 3.0 Obstacle Recognition

Saros 10 combines triple structured light, an RGB camera, and VertiBeam™ lateral structured light to recognise obstacles with minimal blind spots. Millisecond-level response and precise side-distance measurement allow the robot to clean close to objects while maintaining excellent obstacle avoidance.

RockDock® Ultra 2.0 – Fully Automated Maintenance

The RockDock® Ultra 2.0 handles automatic mop washing with dynamic water temperatures up to 80°C, auto mop detaching, heated air drying up to 60°C, auto dust emptying, detergent dispensing, tank refilling, and dock self-cleaning. The dock also charges a 6,400mAh battery in as little as 150 minutes.

SmartPlan® 2.0 & Quiet Cleaning

SmartPlan® 2.0 adapts cleaning strategies based on room type and usage history. During Do-Not-Disturb periods, Saros 10 lowers power and noise to deliver one of the quietest Roborock cleaning experiences, with performance as low as 52 dB(A) in Quiet Mopping Mode.

Advanced App, Smart Home & Pet-Friendly Features

Control everything through the Roborock App with support for Matter, Apple Home (via OTA), Google Home, and Amazon Alexa. Pet-friendly features include automatic pet recognition, quiet cleaning, real-time video calls, pet snapshots, and intelligent pet search functionality.

Shark Launches PowerDetect UV Reveal – The First Robot Vacuum + Mop to Use UV Technology to Detect Invisible Messes

SharkNinja, a global product design and technology company, today announced the Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal, the first robot vacuum and mop that combines UV light detection with a RGB color camera to seek out hidden messes. Available online at SharkNinja.com, Amazon and Costco, as well as online and in stores at Best Buy, PowerDetect™ UV Reveal™ starts at $1,299.99 and is engineered to tackle visible debris and detect and clean messes invisible to the human eye—such as dried-on spills, juices, sweat, or pet accidents—for a deeper clean

Shark Launches PowerDetect™ UV Reveal™ – The First Robot Vacuum + Mop to Use UV Technology to Detect Invisible Messes

With PowerDetect™ UV Reveal™, consumers have insight into what is happening at every step of the cleaning process. Visible light cues indicate when the robot vacuum is seeking a stain, and UV Stain Detect™ reveals the mess under UV light. Then, HyperSonic Mopping™ activates a deliberate scrubbing motion for 7x* the scrubbing power of traditional mopping and up to 2x better stain removal. The robot vacuum then verifies the mess has been removed before moving on to its next task.

“We heard from consumers with robot vacuums that they were never sure if the job was done or what had been cleaned,” said Andy Sundberg, VP of Marketing at SharkNinja. “That’s why we created PowerDetect™ UV Reveal™. By uncovering hidden messes and showing exactly how they’re cleaned, it gives customers the visibility and assurance that their floors don’t just look clean—they are clean.”

What makes UV Reveal™ exceptional is its combination of intelligent sensing and best-in-class cleaning technology:

  • Eight PowerDetect™ Technologies – Optimize cleaning by sensing edges, floor types, objects, and environmental changes in real-time; plus, two exclusive technologies—UV Stain Detect ™ and HyperSonic Mopping™.
  • HyperSonic Mopping™ – A targeted cleaning pattern that delivers 7x* the scrubbing power compared to traditional mopping and up to 2x** better stain removal, with automatic verification that the job is done.
  • UV Stain Detect™ – UV light detection to see hidden messes—dried-on liquids, pet accidents, sweat, dried food splatter, and more.
  • ThermaCharged™ NeverTouch™ Pro Base – Bagless, self‑maintaining base with TÜV‑certified sanitization that cleans the mopping pad after every use, plus an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal designed to trap allergens*** inside instead of releasing them back into the air.
  • NeuroNav AI™ and NeverStuck™ Technology – NeuroNav AI™ uses on‑device sensors, cameras, and advanced algorithms to intelligently guide the robot around your home day or night. NeverStuck™ Technology helps the robot lift over obstacles, allowing it to keep moving and clean your home faster.
  • NeverStop™ Battery – Runs up to three hours to clean your whole home on a single charge and automatically returns to the base to power up when needed.

“Our cleaning heritage gives us a unique edge in robotic vacuums,” continued Sundberg. “We know the challenges consumers face, and we’re using those insights to drive purposeful innovation that creates a better cleaning experience.”

Roborock QR 598 Series robot floor cleaner review

Roborock might be a new brand for me, but robot vacuums certainly are not, and the QR series slotted into my home setup with very little fuss. It aims to be a one‑stop floor‑care solution, handling both vacuuming and mopping with a modern app‑first approach and some genuinely useful extras rather than just headline specs.

Design and key features

The QR series is a robot floor cleaner designed for both vacuuming and mopping, with an app that builds a detailed map of your home using precision LiDAR navigation and vision‑based motion control. It uses separate clean and dirty water tanks in the dock, and the model I tested is available in both black and white, so it should blend into most homes without shouting for attention.

Key features include:

  • Multifunctional dock for charging, water management and maintenance.
  • 10,000Pa suction rating, which is at the higher end of what I have tested.
  • Anti‑tangle side brush that helps reduce hair wraps.
  • Reactive obstacle avoidance to steer around common household clutter.
  • Dual liftable spinning mops, so it can mop hard floors and lift on carpets.
  • App control with flexible scheduling and zone cleaning.
  • Voice prompts to keep you updated on status and issues.

Build quality feels solid, with the dock and robot both giving the impression they will handle daily use rather than just occasional runs. The twin‑tank setup also means you are not constantly babysitting it with refills for every short clean.

Setup and app experience

Setup is very straightforward, and Roborock has actually made it easier than many older robots I have used. There is a QR code on the box for the app and another on the unit itself to pair to your phone, so you are not hunting for menus or digging through Wi‑Fi settings. The Roborock app is highly rated, sitting at 4.8 out of 5 from over 324k reviews and more than 5 million downloads, and my own experience lines up with that: installation was seamless, it connected to my home Wi‑Fi without drama, and I was able to control the robot both at home and when out without freezes or glitches that some rival products still suffer from.

Once the app was installed, the initial mapping run was impressively fast. On older or lower‑end models I have used, you often have to wait for the robot to physically drive every inch of a room before the map appears. Here, the laser‑based system scans and builds the layout quickly without needing to cover every corner first, and it also picked up carpets on the map, which is handy when you want to fine‑tune where it mops versus vacuums. After the quick map, I could choose to vacuum and mop together or run each mode separately, and there is the usual option to schedule cleans for later.

Noise levels are worth mentioning. During normal vacuum and mop runs the QR series is relatively quiet compared to several models I have tried, which makes it more realistic to run while you are working from home or watching TV in the next room. The flip side is that the dock’s prep and rinse cycles are noticeably loud, and during these stages the otherwise clear voice prompts can be a bit muffled by the background noise.

Real‑world performance

In daily use the QR series behaved like a mature product rather than a first‑generation attempt. Navigation was confident, with the robot moving quickly from room to room and avoiding most obstacles rather than ploughing into chair legs repeatedly. Vacuum and mopping performance were both good, and the option to clean filters when required helps keep suction consistent over time.

One area where it stood out was step handling. The manual states it can climb up to a 2 cm threshold between rooms. In my house the main test is a 2.5 cm step leading onto a timber floor, and most robots I have tested over the years either bounce off this or get stuck halfway. The QR series did hesitate and “think” about it, but in every run it managed to get over the 2.5 cm step, which means it is outperforming its own specification in a useful way.

Day‑to‑day maintenance is straightforward. Swapping or cleaning the water tanks is quick, and you are not wrestling with awkward clips or hidden latches. Filters and brushes are accessible, so routine cleaning does not feel like a chore – which is important if you actually want to keep using the robot long term.

One small but important note for buyers in Ireland and the UK: my review unit came with a two‑pin plug rather than the expected three‑pin UK/Ireland plug, so I had to use an adapter. It is not a deal‑breaker, but it is something you should be aware of when you unbox it.

Company background

Roborock is a Chinese smart‑home cleaning brand founded in Beijing in 2014, originally incubated within Xiaomi’s ecosystem where it first built the Xiaomi‑branded Mi Robot Vacuum before pushing its own name worldwide. The company started out focusing on robot vacuums with advanced mapping and navigation, and its S5 series helped establish Roborock as a serious premium alternative to more established names; over the late 2010s and early 2020s it expanded into the S, Q and other lines, adding mopping, auto‑empty docks and more sophisticated obstacle avoidance as it moved into the mainstream.

Warranty

The QR series comes with a 2‑year warranty when bought through official UK/IE channels, which is reassuring for a product that is likely to see daily use.

Final thoughts

Overall the Roborock QR series feels like a well‑sorted robot cleaner rather than an experimental gadget, and it shows that the brand has learned a lot from earlier generations. The app is stable and easy to use, mapping is fast and accurate, and general cleaning performance is strong, with particularly good handling of room‑to‑room transitions and that 2.5 cm step in my home. It is not perfect – the dock can be very loud during rinsing and the plug situation on my unit was less than ideal – but if you want a capable vacuum‑and‑mop robot that behaves like it was designed for real homes, the QR series is an easy one to live with.

Hosting Holidays Stress-Free: Pre-Party Prep and Post-Party Cleanup

There is a specific kind of anxiety reserved for anyone who has ever hosted a dinner party or a holiday gathering. It starts about four hours before the guests arrive. You are trying to marinate the roast, arrange the flowers, and shower—all at the same time. Then, you look down.

The floor is dusty. There are dog hair tumbleweeds in the hallway. The kitchen tiles have flour on them.

In that moment, you have a choice: Do you spend 45 minutes sweating over a broom and mop, or do you ignore it and hope the lighting is dim enough?

For the modern host, this dilemma is obsolete. The art of stress-free entertaining isn’t about lowering your standards; it’s about delegating the labor. By utilizing a “Two-Phase” cleaning strategy, you can ensure your home is pristine before the doorbell rings and effortlessly restored after the last guest leaves.

This strategy relies on two distinct tools: a vacuum and mop combo for the preparation, and a powerful wet/dry system for the recovery.

Phase 1: The “Invisible” Prep Team

The hours leading up to a party are precious. Every minute spent cleaning floors is a minute taken away from food preparation or your own relaxation. This is where automation becomes your best co-host.

The goal of pre-party cleaning is “Visual Perfection.” You want the floors to shine, the carpets to have those fresh vacuum lines, and the dust bunnies to be banished. However, you do not need to do this yourself.

By deploying a robot vacuum and mop in the morning, you delegate the most physically demanding part of the prep. While you are at the grocery store or prepping ingredients, the robot is systematically navigating your home.

A high-quality combo unit is essential here because it handles dual tasks. It vacuums the high-traffic areas where guests will congregate—the living room, the dining room, the entryway—while simultaneously damp-mopping the hard floors to remove fine dust and footprints.

When you walk into the kitchen to start cooking, the floors are already done. You haven’t lifted a finger. The air feels fresher because the dust has been removed, not stirred up. This psychological win cannot be overstated; starting your evening with a clean slate sets the tone for a relaxed, confident host.

Phase 2: The “Chaos” of the Event

Parties are messy. That is the sign of a good time. People track in dirt from outside. Appetizers get dropped. Drinks get spilled.

In the past, a spilled glass of red wine on a hard floor was a “stop the music” emergency. The host would rush out with paper towels and spray bottles, scrubbing on their hands and knees while guests watched awkwardly.

With the right tools waiting in the wings, you can adopt a more relaxed attitude. You know that no matter what hits the floor—gravy, wine, dip, or mud—you have a solution that doesn’t involve a roll of paper towels.

Phase 3: The Morning After Recovery

The real challenge of hosting isn’t the preparation; it’s the aftermath.

The “Morning After” is usually grim. You wake up to sticky floors. There are crumbs embedded in the rug. The kitchen floor is a map of last night’s cooking spills—droplets of sauce, sticky cocktail residue, and whatever the dog tracked in.

A standard vacuum is dangerous here. If you suck up wet food or sticky liquid, you will ruin the motor and make the canister moldy. A robot is also not the right tool for this level of grime; it is designed for maintenance, not disaster recovery.

This is the domain of the wet dry vac. This device is the ultimate “reset button” for your home.

Unlike a mop, which would just smear the sticky residue around, a wet/dry vacuum washes the floor with fresh water and high-speed scrubbing. It literally eats the mess.

Imagine the post-party kitchen floor:

  1. Solid Debris: Crushed chips, dropped vegetables, breadcrumbs.
  2. Liquid Mess: Dried wine spots, sticky soda, water spills.

With a wet/dry unit, you do not need to sweep first. You simply turn it on and walk forward. It vacuums the solids and washes the liquids in a single pass. The dirty water is extracted instantly, leaving the floor dry and streak-free.

You can clean the entire party zone—kitchen, dining, and living area—in roughly 15 minutes. It transforms a task that usually takes all Sunday morning into a quick, satisfying chore.

The Host’s Secret Weapon

The difference between a stressed host and a gracious one often comes down to logistics.

If you are worried about the cleaning, you cannot enjoy the company. By automating the prep with a robot, you buy yourself time. By securing the cleanup with a wet/dry vacuum, you buy yourself peace of mind.

You no longer have to fear the “red wine spill” or the “muddy shoes.” You know that your home system can handle it. This allows you to focus on what actually matters: the conversation, the food, and the memories.

Ultimately, these tools don’t just clean your floors; they protect your weekends. They ensure that hosting a party doesn’t mean sacrificing your Sunday to the mop bucket.

The Smart Way to Keep Your Home Clean with a Robot Vacuum Cleaner

Keeping your home clean can be difficult when you’re balancing work, family, and daily responsibilities. This is where a robot vacuum cleaner becomes a practical solution for modern living. Designed to automate floor cleaning, it allows homeowners to maintain cleanliness with minimal effort.

This article explains how a robot vacuum cleaner works, its benefits, and why it has become a must-have device for today’s households.

What Is a Robot Vacuum Cleaner?

A robot vacuum cleaner is an automated cleaning device that moves across floors independently, collecting dust, debris, and pet hair. Unlike traditional vacuum cleaners that require manual handling, this smart device operates on its own using sensors and programmed navigation.

Its compact shape allows it to reach under furniture such as beds, sofas, and cabinets—areas often neglected during routine cleaning. Once the battery runs low, the device automatically returns to its charging dock, making it highly convenient for everyday use.

How a Robot Vacuum Cleaner Works

A robot vacuum cleaner combines advanced hardware and intelligent software to deliver efficient cleaning:

  • Sensors and navigation systems detect obstacles, walls, and stairs
  • Rotating brushes and suction lift dust and debris from hard floors and carpets
  • Mapping technology helps the device remember room layouts for consistent coverage

Many models can be controlled through mobile apps, allowing users to start, stop, or schedule cleaning remotely. For more insights on smart home automation, you may also like: A Beginner’s Guide to Smart Home Cleaning Solutions.

Key Benefits of Using a Robot Vacuum Cleaner

1. Saves Time and Effort

One of the biggest advantages is automation. You can schedule cleaning sessions while you’re at work or asleep, freeing up time for more important tasks.

2. Consistent Daily Cleaning

Regular cleaning prevents dust buildup, especially in high-traffic areas. A robot vacuum cleaner ensures floors stay clean without requiring daily manual effort.

3. Ideal for Busy Households

Homes with children or pets tend to collect dirt quickly. These devices handle hair, crumbs, and everyday messes efficiently. Read more on this topic in Cleaning Tips for Homes with Pets.

4. Reaches Hard-to-Clean Areas

Thanks to its low profile, the device easily cleans under furniture and tight spaces where traditional vacuums struggle.

Health and Hygiene Advantages

A cleaner home directly contributes to better indoor air quality. A robot vacuum cleaner helps reduce allergens such as dust mites, pollen, and fine particles that can trigger allergies or breathing issues.

This makes it particularly beneficial for people with sensitivities, asthma, or young children. For a deeper look into maintaining a healthier home environment, check out How Regular Floor Cleaning Improves Indoor Air Quality.

Energy Efficiency and Smart Features

Compared to traditional vacuum cleaners, robot vacuum cleaners are designed to use energy efficiently. They operate only when needed and automatically recharge themselves.

Many models offer features such as:

  • Smart scheduling
  • Room-by-room cleaning
  • Custom no-go zones

These functions help optimize cleaning performance while minimizing energy usage and wear.

Tips for Getting the Best Performance

To maximize the efficiency of your robot vacuum cleaner, keep these tips in mind:

  1. Clear clutter from floors to avoid interruptions
  2. Clean brushes and filters regularly for optimal suction
  3. Use scheduling features to maintain consistent cleanliness

Routine maintenance ensures the device performs at its best for years.

Benefits of Using a Robot Vacuum Cleaner for Daily Cleaning

In addition to convenience, a robot vacuum cleaner also helps create a more organized cleaning routine. By running on a regular schedule, it prevents dust and debris from building up over time, which reduces the need for deep cleaning sessions. This makes home maintenance more manageable and ensures your living space stays fresh and comfortable every day.

Is a Robot Vacuum Cleaner Worth It?

For anyone looking to simplify home maintenance, a robot vacuum cleaner is a smart investment. It reduces manual effort, keeps floors consistently clean, and fits seamlessly into a modern lifestyle.

Whether you live alone, manage a busy household, or simply want a more efficient way to clean, this automated solution offers long-term convenience and value. As smart home technology continues to evolve, automated cleaning tools are becoming less of a luxury and more of a household essential.

Irish start-up brings first ever Irish-voiced robot vacuum into homes for Christmas

Irish families looking for a smarter way to stay on top of housework this Christmas now have a new voice in the home, and it’s proudly Irish. West Cork-based home robotics start-up HomeBot Ireland, founded by Clara Mulligan and husband Alan O’Neill, has just launched its latest innovation: Glider 6-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, now available with voice guidance in a real Irish accent, voiced by none other than DJ Louise Clarke.
With self-emptying, self-washing and drying functions, suitable for all floor types, the Glider is designed to make home cleaning effortless and fun ahead of the festive season. The Irish voiceover not only makes set-up and daily use easier, it also adds personality and warmth. With accessibility in mind, the voice makes the product more accessible to the elderly and people with mobility issues, and is much more family-friendly, by helping warn children and pets of its presence.
“I was absolutely delighted when Clara asked me to lend my voice to the new Glider. It’s great to be part of a project that supports Irish families and makes life a bit easier, and a bit more fun. I am always very happy to support local Irish family-run companies”, said Louise Clarke.
Founded in 2024 by Clara Mulligan and her husband Alan O’Neill, HomeBot Ireland was inspired by Clara’s father-in-law, who struggled to maintain his garden during the COVID lockdowns. The company’s first product, Buddy, a user-friendly, wireless robotic lawnmower, quickly became a best seller. One year later, HomeBot Ireland has grown into a national brand with a suite of smart robotic cleaners, including vacuums and mops, all designed around the real needs of Irish families.
We’re building products that actually work for Irish households, whether new or more traditional, for example with door saddles or no Wi-Fi in half the rooms,” said Clara Mulligan, co-founder. “Everything we do, from design to customer care, is grounded in empathy, practicality, and real problems our customers face.”
With support delivered fast via WhatsApp, HomeBot Ireland has earned a reputation for real-time, human-first customer care. “We live in West Cork, and when people message us, it’s us replying. That’s what makes us different, and why people keep coming back”, Clara adds.
“We are growing steadily and with purpose. We want to bring smart, simple, sustainable tech into Irish homes and give people their time back, one robot at a time”, added Clara.

HOMEBOT Ireland Spritz Robot Vacuum and Mop review

The HOMEBOT Ireland Spritz Robot Vacuum and Mop is a more affordable offering that is out there and from the brand who has a higher end offering which is good to see with having choice and choice is important rather than offer one off products.

Having tested many of these products over the years this one was somewhat on my mind to see what it can do at the price and it faired out better in some instances as you will see in the video review below than more expensive offerings you find today.

The set-up is simple here with the Smart Life app and takes around 5 minutes to go through the whole app and see what is on offer you can see some screenshots below and again in the video.

The HOMEBOT Ireland Spritz Robot Vacuum and Mop is the average size so for storage it is not a huge issue and once you find a home for it you may as well just leave it sat there as it maps out your rooms you can merge rooms or map two rooms together in the initial set up depending on your home layout etc.

The unit is not too heavy and is easy to move around anyway so for people with the rooms or floors that it can work on upstairs or downstairs will not have issues here.

There is a simple brush mechanism and mop underneath with with a water and power tray that are all easy to remove clean and wash out after use again less hassle than others I have tried before.

Dirt and water tray with cleaning brush and filter

Once you have your personal set-up finished you can further enhance things with managing rooms, scheduling, watch your clean record find your robot do a carpet boost and prevent children tampering with it there is also a remote control option here which many will find cool like a recent lawmower we did it is fun taking control as well as letting it do all the work for you.

The result is better than expected from this model at its price these are coming down in price in general and no a more common sight in people homes these days due to the cost these robotic cleaner started off at silly prices when I started testing them and cost to performance ratio is like alot of tech now coming down meaning you get more for less and in fairness with this model it done the job and left my floors nice and shiny which I did not fully expect and again navigated around complex situations with ease and there is less faffing around with a clunky app.
