Bosch launches the Unlimited 7 cordless vacuum cleaner range.

Bosch is set to clean up with the Unlimited 7 cordless vacuum cleaner range. Perfect for households big and small, the super-flexible range is powered by a 3.0 Power For All battery, promising up to 40 minutes’ runtime on just one battery charge. The Unlimited 7 range is made up of three models that differ slightly to suit your needs.

The premium Unlimited 7 ProHome comes with 2 battery packs, effectively giving users a runtime of up to 80 minutes, the Unlimited 7 ProAnimal is ideal for removing pet hair more efficiently, and the Unlimited 7 ProHome in graphite grey, for a sleek look and feel. Prices start from €349.99 with a full list of retailers available on the Bosch website www.bosch-home.ie

With ergonomic features for high convenience and flexibility, users of the Unlimited 7 cordless vacuum cleaner range can choose between three power modes. Eco mode is the most efficient and allows for maximum runtime. Auto mode offers automatic power adjustment, whereby the nozzle adjusts its performance depending on the floor type (carpet or hard floor). And Turbo mode ensures ultimate performance for optimal cleaning results. In tests, for example, dust pickup in Turbo mode on hard floors is measured at more than 99.9 percent.

The Power For All battery is part of one of the largest cross-brand battery systems, and is compatible with many 18V power tools and gardening devices from Bosch as well as other brands including Gardena, Gloria, Wagner and Rapid. This means that if the battery runs out while vacuuming, users can replace it with a battery from a compatible tool or device.

Cleaning convenience

With its multiple accessories, the Unlimited 7 range is designed to clean almost anywhere, from under the sofa to the four corners of the ceiling. It is also ideal for cleaning the inside of any car. With the Nozzle Foot Release, users can easily detach the nozzle from the tube and replace it with other attachments – including the 2-in-1 furniture brush and upholstery nozzle, as well as the crevice nozzle and long flexible crevice nozzle for effective cleaning in hard-to-reach places.

The Unlimited 7 ProAnimal model takes convenience one step further and is perfect for pet owners, with a ProAnimal Brush designed to remove pet hair easily, along with additional accessories for cleaning mattresses, pet baskets and computer keyboards.

Convenience is the key to the Unlimited 7. The Quick Stand function, for example, means that the nozzle and tube stand by themselves while the handheld vacuum is detached and used. Also of note is the Flex Tube, which enables users to clean under low furniture without bending down. Plus, owners no longer need to put the Unlimited 7 back in its docking station or lie it on the floor when they want to take a break. Thanks to the Easy Parking Clip, they can secure it to the edge of their furniture, such as a table or shelf, or the back of a chair.

Nokia 5710 XpressAudio first look – A phone with earbuds built in

Nokia had a slew of Xpress Music phones back in the day which was aimed at the music fan we have them all here but today we skip forward some years and we now have their Nokia 5710 Xpress Audio which is not a smartphone but still has lots on offer like a built in radio too and many other features which would suit most, this could be used as a spare device or as intended a music device with the built in earbuds which I look forward to testing too.

So lets cut to the chase here, we take a quick first look and unboxing of the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio and see what you get and have a look at the UI so if you have any questions feel free to drop them below and we will gladly answer. Back in 2020 we checked out another music orientated device called the Nokia 5310 2020 edition you can see that review here

The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio takes what people loved about the Nokia 5310 and makes it even better. A bigger battery, dedicated audio control keys, and a built-in wireless earbuds ramp up the audio experience to the next level and meet the needs of modern users. When not in use, earbuds are housed beneath a sleek slider on the back of the phone, so you always know where they are and charged. That, together with loud dual speakers means you can enjoy music privately or together with friends just like the artist intended with rich bass, clear highs, and natural vocals..

Huckletree to open UK’s first workspace tailored for Web3 companies and innovation

Huckletree, a UK and Ireland workspace innovation business is expanding its London presence with a new hub on Oxford Street themed around Web3 and the metaverse – the first of its kind in the UK. This milestone will mark Huckletree’s fifth opening in the capital and grow its footprint to 175,000 sq ft.

Jubilee House, comprising 22,000 sq ft, will be transformed into a new workspace concept, bringing together Web3, creatives and investors in one place. This announcement also comes at a record time for Huckletree as the company announces its intention to double its footprint across the UK whilst recording occupancy rates at an all-time high of 94 percent at group level.

Huckletree has a track record of building communities and will look to mimic the successes of its existing themed co-working spaces, such as its VC hub in Soho and Govtech hub in Westminster.

The expansive new office features spaces specifically designed and curated for businesses operating in the Web3 world, including an NFT Creator Gallery, VR/Gaming pods and decompression zones. The hub will also support new ways of flexible working with a range of spaces designed for different modes of work as well as breakout areas for collaboration, socialising and wellbeing, including a rooftop open terrace.

Huckletree, as part of its curated membership model, is targeting anchor tenants actively working in Web3 and the metaverse space. The remaining available workspace will be open to complementary sectors, with memberships set to open for enquiries in August.

As part of its commitment to the ecosystem, Huckletree has established an advisory council to oversee businesses moving into the space, with representatives across venture capital firms seeding European unicorns, Web3 entrepreneurs and the digital fashion space

The decision to locate the new hub on Oxford Street was influenced by the changing behaviours of office workers and subsequent demand for offices in central, convenient, and destination-like locations. According to CBRE, office take-up in the West End has reached 4.9m sq ft in the second quarter of this year, an increase of 149 per cent compared to the same period last year.

Reflecting these figures, Huckletree’s hub in Soho, which opened in 2019, has seen the strongest demand in the Huckletree group over the past 12 months with occupancy sitting steadily over 90 percent.

This demand is due to the area emerging as a key destination for businesses and investors thanks to its unrivalled lifestyle offering, including a buzzing alfresco dining and bar atmosphere as well as brilliant connectivity, thanks to the opening of the Elizabeth Line Crossrail.

Gabriela Hersham, Co-founder and CEO at Huckletree, said: This latest opening for Huckletree not only marks a major milestone in our journey but also demonstrates our commitment to innovation and our ambition to back the most transformative emerging thinkers and players in the ecosystem. Web3 and the metaverse have the potential to transform every industry as we know it, and the community working behind the scenes, be they on the investment or business side, are in need of a space to call home that can also be a platform for funding, deal-flow, ideas, talent, and togetherness.

Oxford Street is an iconic address in London that has suffered financially and culturally. We want to help drive the re-imagination of the area, to create a vision where emerging hybrid communities meet heritage and tradition.”

Huckletree was advised by Situu.

How Modern Technology Advances Can Keep Your Home Safe

In the past few years, technology has taken some giant leaps not only in the field of communication but in the security field too. Many devices and technologies have been invented for personal and property protection. This technology has combined communication devices like our cell phones with security devices like security cameras and tracking features to make it easier for us to secure our loved ones and properties. Moreover, home automation has improved home security in so many ways. Read on to learn more about how modern technology advances can keep your home safe.

Smart Locks

Bluetooth smart locks are more secure than Wi-Fi ones, although Wi-Fi smart locks have more features as you can unlock your door from anywhere on the planet as long as you are connected to the internet, and it sends notifications when the doors get locked or unlocked. On the other hand, Bluetooth smart locks get connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth and recognise your presence when you are in the house allowing you to have control over other things than door locks in your house like lights and thermostats. The doors can unlock once your key fob is detected, and you can send others digital keys too. However, you or anyone with the digital key has to stand in the range your device is programmed on to get detected.

Security Cameras

Security cameras that can be remotely monitored can save you and your loved ones from many dangers. If you’re working for long hours and you forgot the stove on, for example, while checking your cameras at work, you will be able to see that and get back or call your neighbours to help you out before your house catches fire. Specialists at The Spy Store say that security cameras come in handy when you want to monitor a senior parent or keep an eye on your child while the babysitter is taking care of them. Moreover, you can see if someone is trying to break into your house and call the police even better, you will get notified when someone tries to disarm your system! For maximum security, it is better that you install outdoor cameras too to be able to detect any unusual activity around your house. Don’t worry about rain and snow, as outdoor cameras are waterproof. If you set motion boundaries, you will be able to receive alerts if someone or something is moving around your house within the range of your camera’s sensors. If you are looking to start converting your house into a Smart Home security cameras are one of the first steps taken.

Window Sensors

Other than securing our doors, technology has provided us with tools to secure the windows in our houses too! Criminals can break into a house through windows and doors. Therefore, you need to secure your windows too, especially if you own a big house with many windows. Window sensors will send you notifications when your windows get opened and allow you to detect any unusual activity occurring in or around your house.

Smart Doorbells

Installing a smart doorbell is much better than a video doorbell and might be safer too, as you won’t have to get near the door to answer the door. You get to record and take pictures of any unusual activity to download later on. Moreover, smart doorbells allow you to have a clear picture of who is standing at your door even at night as they use infrared vision technology. Even if you are not at home, you can still answer the door without the person at your door knowing if you are in or out of the house.

Remote Garage System

Intelligent garage systems allow you to open your garage door when you are not in the house. Moreover, if your garage door is open or gets opened, you get notified. This way, you can protect your house from burglars and grant access to people you want to allow in your house while you are away through the garage.

Thanks to technology, now you can have peace of mind while you are away from your house, knowing that you have full control over who can have access to it and stop burglars in their tracks. These devices come in really handy if you are taking care of your senior parents or have young children, as you can keep an eye on them all the time while you are at work or traveling. There is something for everyone as these devices and technologies come in different price ranges. There is nothing more important in life other than the safety of ourselves and our loved ones. Therefore, investing in remote security systems could be the smartest decision you can make.

Tech Review – JBL Reflect Aero TWS

Next up in the JBL product reviews is one their latest earbuds the Reflect Aero TWS which have been with us some time now and taken on hols as part of my review pack which contained plenty of tech, so much for taking a break aye.. However it is what I do and love it and love having that opportunity to do so and with a pack full of JBL good which was not planned it was a time to test out what the company has to offer and see how they have progressed and they certainly have done so.

These were unboxed so you can see that here and now we will go on to talk about them and how I found them during my break away, these are a pair of earbuds for those who enjoy music and calls on the go as for me I like to enjoy my music at home and away but of course has to take many calls too so they suited me fine and got the job done.

These have a wing build in for better fit though some with smaller ears may find it a bit challenging especially if you are not use to wearing such earbuds, they are also great for training it must be added which I kept some of that up in my break too and worked well and never fell out. You again have the option to use the Check my best fit in the app which you should do anyway.

There is plenty of mics on board here to 6 in total, 6 mics with voice aware for calls and True adaptive noise cancelling with 4 mics and all in all calls have been excellent and being splash and dustproof  (IP68) which for me on the beach was a gift they fit the bill for a complete package on holidays and I would suggest these to those who travel and want the most protection and features in one pair of earbuds.

The controls are easy to use to with a nice large touch sensitive area to perform your command which makes it easier than most, we of course go through all those features in the app and show you what to expect in the video review below and overall again a great app here to give you the full control of the earbuds rather than have a stock experience and this is prevalent in many if not all of the new JBL range now with some differences with the app vs the product but you will get to see all those soon. You do have ANC ambient and talk through present here which having that trio of options makes them a really viable pair of earbuds to have at your disposal and all of which can be controlled.

Overall the sound here was a bit brighter than other JBL earbuds but good in general and highs lows and mids were fine nice bass no muffled sound on maxed out volume and for all genres good and with the app you again as mentioned can control what suits your needs as everyone’s ears differ.

Battery life is also good here with them having fast charge on board which means a 15 min charge gives you a whopping 4 hours of use which is great you will get 7 + 14 with ANC and 8 + 16 with adaptive so there is plenty in the tank to start your day. You also get fast pair and Google Assistant which in JBLs latest line up allows you to have text and emails read out to you which is really cool.

Overall a great pair of earbuds that offer something for those who want that bit more than an average pair of earbuds and covers everything for calls music protection and more.

Ways to Increase the Visibility of Your Ecommerce Store

With more than 20 million active eCommerce stores across the globe, it can be intimidating to start your own eCommerce business in today’s market. Not only are you competing with grand worldwide Amazon sellers, but you’re also competing with other smaller sellers who are chasing the same category of audience like you. However, most of these stores and sellers in the market are not making the most of the marketing and advertising tools and possibilities available nowadays. This can set you apart from the competition and help you attain your target audience in no time. It’s all about bringing the right marketing strategies into play and putting the needed effort to increase the visibility of your online store. Keep reading to find out how you can make your eCommerce stand out and boost its visibility.

Create Valuable Blog Posts

People don’t realise how important blog posts are for spreading the news about eCommerce businesses. Engaging blog posts help increase the visibility of your content as well as generate increased revenue. Studies prove that about two-thirds of internet users living in the United States made online purchases as a result of blog posts they read in a single year. This is because blogging is one of the best forms of content marketing and it sure does bring a lot of benefits compared to traditional marketing. You can solve your customer’s problems and provide them with relevant answers to their questions through the content you share in your blogs. When incorporated with topics relating to your products, you can successfully increase the visibility of your store and attract new prospects.

Use Advanced Technology

Professional 3D product visualization and modeling services can significantly enhance the visibility of your eCommerce store by providing high-quality, photorealistic images that attract and engage customers. Unlike traditional photography, 3D rendering allows for customizable, interactive visuals that showcase products from every angle, improving user experience and boosting conversions. These visually appealing assets also perform well on search engines and social media, increasing organic traffic and brand awareness. By investing in professional 3D visualization, your eCommerce store can stand out in a competitive market, build trust with potential buyers, and drive more sales.

Offer Value in Your Content

A successful business always aims to create content that its audience would find helpful. Not every piece of content you post through your online outlets or social media platforms should be a sales pitch. You should focus more on providing your followers with valuable news and content that actually resonates with their needs. Everything relating to sales should follow. For example, if you sell yoga mats and yoga-related equipment, you should focus your content around fitness and health, dieting and nutrition, and other topics relating to the lifestyle of this category’s buyers. Offering valuable content goes a long way in retaining your existing customers and increasing the visibility of your products to prospective buyers.

Use Google Ads

One of the most important things you need to start with to guarantee a good exposure for your eCommerce store is registering your internet domain with the service provided by Google. This is crucial so that you would allow Google to rank your website when it discovers it. As you may already know, Google shopping ads get the premium spot, which means it’s a great opportunity for your store to appear in the search results of your prospective customers. Google uses different algorithms to track relevant demographics that can help you reach your buyers in a more direct way. It’s also free to register and won’t take you more than five minutes. You can then choose from several nifty Google Ads services that are all designed to enhance eCommerce visibility. Another popular alternative is an ecommerce facebook ads strategy.

Identify Your Target Audience

Knowing who your customers are will provide you with relevant insights into how they think, what their interests are, and how you can satisfy these interests with your products and services. It’s also the first step in starting a profitable eCommerce business and a defining decision for your entire career. After identifying your target audience, you have to tailor your content accordingly to provide your prospective customers with relevant answers to what they may be searching for. Knowing your target customers will also allow you to adjust your product selection so that you can actually offer content that your buyers are looking for. This will unlock unlimited possibilities for your eCommerce business while letting you increase your reach.

Exploit Social Media Platforms

Social media is one of the most powerful weapons you can use to benefit your business. Almost everyone uses the internet nowadays to look up products and make purchase decisions. You need to find the social media platform that your target audience uses the most to reach them and engage with their interests. This way, you can tailor your content and promote your business through optimized marketing posts. Social media is, hands down, the best marketing strategy you can take advantage of to gain more visibility for your eCommerce store.

Social Media

Starting your own eCommerce businesses or trying to grow your online store is a process that depends on your marketing tactics and level of business exposure. You need to make sure to put your business out there and make it stand out to increase its visibility. These tips will help you gain the most visibility for your eCommerce store as well as increase your revenue

Google Pixel 6a short term review

It is that time of year again when Google drops their new (a) model and over time it has been a successful phone and having used the 6a for the last two weeks or so for now it is safe to say this one is no different either, a full review is not really due at this time but a good look of the device so far has led me to some conclusions, two weeks is not enough time to give a phone on

The presentation is as expected from Google which is clean and simple and we go through that in the unboxing and good walkthrough of the device below and see what is inside so do look at that to get some insights as to what the phone has to offer, a more thorough review will be along soon anyways after full loading the device with my huge list of apps and of course testing and software updates and so on.

The design is of course off the back of the Pixel 6 which was a heft phone this is much lighter and the camera bar thinner at the back and pretty much similar to the Pixel 5 which again was a smaller phone and a sweet spot for many, even for me these days as I am fed up with slabs, currently using a S22 Ultra and other phones I am reviewing the 6a is small, I have big hands but can live with it to be honest and it fits well in my pocket unlike the rest of the devices.

OK you are not getting the same superb build quality of the PIxel 6 itself but a much toned down build but still robust and very light in comparison and a not so notable camera bar on the back which is fine and for most will be fine too.

Again we have their own chip inside and from what I see has improved, I have shot quite few tech reviews with this phone which are all due after the embargo lifts shot in 1080p and in 4K and I have noted the processing is much faster than the Pixel 6 and I did find the phone a tad more snappy considering the new features inside and for me this is a good sign, also noted there was not much heating during this as long video shoots do heat up your phone and having doing several video reviews one after the other it went rather well and smoothly and I gained time rather than having to wait which for me is a good thing.

Google Pixel 6a unboxing and device walkthrough

If you are not a Pixel user yet and have wanted to try one which I know many are there is a new UI here to play with too allowing you to customise your phone even more with themed icons, widgets and dynamic colours, I would like to use widgets more so however with the amount of apps I use I do not have enough room and have a splattering of folders on my phones with several apps in each but that is just me and how I use my phone on a daily basis all my phones are set up identical, on the Pixel 6a you can search your device too for just about anything which for me is a real handy feature. You know have fast assistant voice typing and again this is a handy tool for many people out there today.

Also on board is Speech enhancement, Live translate and Interpreter mode furthermore there is a built in recorder too making the Pixel 6a a must have for many people out there today, the 6a offers plenty of tools for creators and journalists alike saving you the hassle of carrying multiple devices at once and of course the magic eraser is there which is a cool photo editing tool on the go. In short for someone on the go who uses such features and likes to multitask this device is capable.

Google Pixel night samples

We also have got the cameras which many want to know about I have left samples here for you to see for yourself rather than bang on about the specs, You do have Tensor, Live HDR+ video can be processed live on 4K video, resulting in rich, vivid colors, I have night and day image and video samples so you be the judge, the camera once again though is great and having tested this against another budget version phone this Pixel 6a just kills it full stop.

Google Pixel 6a day samples

This is as mentioned a short term review but so far this has impressed me once again showing what Google can do, I have now fully moved off from my S22 Ultra and will be staying on this until the Pixel 7 drops as one of main main daily drivers, Anything else you might want to know just ask as always. And to sum the device up so far for the money you can’t really go wrong and that is quite a feat considering other devices I have tested and am testing now and this wins all the time. The only real concern is the battery life but again I am a power user and would not have the same use case as the average user but for them they would get a day out of the device at least. I will be back again with another look at the device after its release and more software updates. No wireless charging included here which is a bummer for some and no headphone jack and a 60Hz refresh rate are an easy pick for some to complain about as said in video but let’s be honest most folk do not care or notice the difference between that and 90/120hz refresh rate unless pointed out, some might say different but having used devices with the same it is not a huge deal nor do I take issue with it.

Äike Launches First European Assembled E-Scooter with USB-C Charging

Newly founded sustainable e-scooter startup Äike, launches the first electric scooter designed and assembled entirely in Europe using solely renewable energy. Developed in partnership with leading IoT company, Comodule, their newest model Äike T, is also the only e-scooter to have USB-C charging capabilities.

With e-scooter trials proving immensely popular in the UK and 180,000 people taking over half a million trips in London alone from June 2021 – February 2022, the market for sustainable travel is booming. In its highly anticipated Transport Bill, the UK Government intends to acknowledge this appetite for e-scooters and other low-speed, zero-emission vehicles (LZEV) amongst the public by recognising them in new legislation later this year.

Äike is committed to making e-scooters and zero-emission commuting accessible to everyone by being regionally compliant with all legislation and integrating unrivalled safety, stability and durability into its product range. The company actively seeks materials from responsible local recycled suppliers, ensuring a supply and distribution chain that is as close to the manufacturing facility as possible, free of conflict and fully reliable/traceable while ensuring 92% of the materials used to produce its e-scooters are recyclable.

Kristjan Maruste, Co-founder of Comodule and now CEO and Head of Product for Äike, commented: “Äike is a true passion project of mine as I feel we are filling a huge gap in the micro mobility market. After 7 years in the industry, I find it crazy how the e-bike boom in Europe has brought us to around 5 million e-bikes sold per year with more than 50% made in Europe, whereas with over a million e-scooters being bought annually, virtually no one manufactures in Europe. This has left e-scooters in the background as the vast majority of them are not sustainable, comfortable or safe at all. Äike is here to change that. There obviously is a demand, and we are here to meet that with a sustainable, durable, inclusive, IoT-connected, safe and genuinely best version of what they are looking for. We’re currently still in our launch phase, but we are very well positioned to grow fast as we control the full process in-house from design to production to delivery.”

Äike’s e-scooters are built for all metropolitan streets. The Äike T is weatherproof, durable and can be ridden smoothly over potholes and curbs without compromising on important motor power and speed safety regulations across cities worldwide. On one full charge, the Äike T has a 40km range. When needed to charge again, Äike has made its removable battery compatible with any port using a USB-C laptop charger, which eliminates excess charger waste. While Äike’s e-scooters are designed to be easily transportable indoors, they can be safely left on the street thanks to the IoT-integrated threefold anti-theft GPS lock protection system provided by Comodule.

Äike is paving the way for a new era of micro-mobility by offering a fully connected experience. On top of GPS protection, each e-scooter comes with Comodule’s own IoT device and passport that allows exclusive access to the Äike app and enables remote customer support, instant firmware updates, and e-scooter performance monitoring, offering commuters a unique connected riding experience.

The Äike e-scooter is available for pre-order from July 6th for a €69 deposit. Final prices start from €999.
