Tech Review – TOZO S3 smartwatch

There is no shortage of smartwatches today and the good thing is for some the price has come down, there is high end like the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Watch 6 from Samsung I use and there is entry level and of course mid tier, how these shape out in features though is the thing for users and often the case they buy something they don’t need, then you have the likes of fitbits which for the most are just activity tracers not offering much else but you can now get smartwatches for under 5o euro that has it all and one of the best in this class is the latest from TOZO who are know for their audio products.

We have reviewed plenty of watches recently that look the same as this and has a similar software setup however this one goes further than most and is worth the spend with all the features there is on offer here. The you get an app that works on both iOS and Android packed with settings and again more than I have seen in the past.

So what do you get for your money here with the all new TOZO S3 smartwatch.. You get quite alot in fact for the money with this watch and as mentioned there is plenty like it and looking similar but this one stands out with features and has more than many I have tested in recent weeks here and I really like it.

We have all the fitness apps you expect to see here you have you can accept calls on this too which is a real bonus you have step counter, heart rate monitoring and much more which we go through in the video below as there is lots to see, you also have a watch face gallery and these are nice face and current one with today’s trends.

Now with a cheap smartwatch you do miss out on some features but in comparison to market leaders here you get quite a but more here the only real thing missing is not being able to reply to social and emails etc it is not a rich message experience however you can read everything fine here and the screen is bright and good outdoors.

Tech Review – DIKTOYOU Men’s Smartwatch

The smartwatch is today for some seen as an expensive companion device which is true to one extent but over the years they have come down in price and more brands to sell them alongside their smartphones, For example I have my original Moto 360 which was my first smartwatch and now I have the Apple Watch Series 7, Pixel Watch A Galaxy watch 4 and several other cheaper brands that all cost less than 100 euro which this one does but this one has features none of those sub 100 euro watches have and even more expensive watches and two stand out features is a speaker to take calls and a voice assistant and also has GPS tracking.

OK so the thing here is this is a generic watch we have seen before and the software to go with it but it is kept simple and everyone wants something different and that is life, it may have some restrictions as to what you can do overall however for the price it a seriously decent watch to get you started of you do not own a smartwatch and do not want a convoluted mess of submenus or set-up this is one watch you should look at and in fact we have done several similar styled watches here before which you can find in the search option.

We go through the set-up the app and all that good stuff in the video review below so you will see what this entails in comparison to other watches out there today, most people today opt for fitness trackers and these are cheaper etc but do not offer the full suite expected on a fully fledged smartwatch and this watch is kind of offering both here which is a good thing.

The watch is a solid build with an IP67 rating and comes with two straps it is not a cheap plastic watch which is often the case at this price point too and stellar battery life it does lots of fitness activities has a huge selection of predefined watchfaces and measures the most important health features and is pretty accurate after comparing to other smartwatches I own.

Check out the video below for more and see how the speaker sounds the calls sound and how it works in general as it is a better view of what this offers for the price. For me it is a great watch to get started and overall a great watch to use and the only place it lacks is on replying on the watch itself but as for the rest it is fine, notifications come through they are a simple line of text and not detailed like more expensive watches but still gives you control at a glance whether or not you need to pick up your phone and one thing for me with smartwatches is they do keep you off your phone and today that is probably a good thing as we spend to much time on them.

The App

Tech Review – Garmin Instinct Solar review

I have a thing for watches and have lots of them and over the years this has extended to smart watches and now I have a collection of those too and people again ask WHY but just like my phone collection which both happened by accident really because of what i do it is nice to pick and choose from and weigh up what is on offer and it is good to change over every now and then, currently I am using the Apple Watch Series 7 45mm which I have left aside to check out this offering from Garmin as it has quite alot on offer despite its clean plain looks vs a stand out looking bright screen face and full of colour do not let the black and white screen on the solar instinct fool you.

Build is solid on the Instinct Solar and one of the best you may find out there this is as tough as it gets, having used this for a few weeks it has had all kinds of bangs and knocks and not a mark to be seen which is remarkable which less can be said for other watches I have which have had to have a cover added or screen replacement so for me this is win.

On the looks department well it is pretty bog standard and plain akin to a casio however people like this and some do not for me it is new and by that I mean it is a first of a kind when it comes to a display I do own older similar styled non smart watches just because your watch might be plain and simple looking does not mean it is not capable and that is what most folk I showed this watch could not believe when I showed them however there is some caveats here but overall not much else to complain about being honest.

The watch has 3 pushers on the left and 2 on the right and all labelled these pushers are also solid with a texture and easy to identify blindly and function well all the time, sometimes pushers can get blocked or simply fail to work which is not the case here certainly after what I put it through.

The screen is Black and White but it does not take away the features available or what you can avail of built in on the app, there is something for everyone here no matter what sport you are into, you can see more of what I mean in the video below. The screen is power glass which can keep your watch topped up on the go never mind the insane battery life which is really impressive and for someone who hates charging a smartwatch daily this is one key feature for me that I like, I have not had to charge the watch yet since it landed which is great.

To get going you will need the garmin connect app which is quite good actually in terms of functionality and easy enough to set up and navigate and once applied you can custom to your needs like any other offering out there and control what you want delivered to your watch, this is something you spend time on with any smartwatch as having the dam thing going off all day can be annoying and for me I tailor what I want to receive.

This watch is ideal for the outdoors for the most and also has a built in compass which is handy but it also offers health features galore so it is a pretty solid overall purchase if you can get past the black and white affair on the screen yet robust and solid with graphs galore and more which can deliver much useful information to you, the price though might out some off due to the influx of cheaper watches out there but again these do not offer as much as this one does, perhaps if this was a color screen it might be more attractive but then so would the price.

The Four Best Smartwatch Games

Smartwatches are beginning to take off in a big way. Basically, a smartwatch is a wearable computer in the form of a wristwatch. It has a local touchscreen interface and can be used with associated apps. A smartwatch does much more than just tell the time, but there is a wide range of different types of smartwatches that vary in terms of design and functionality. With some smartwatches, you can even play games. While the range of games is still somewhat limited at present, gaming on smartphones looks set to become much more popular in the coming years, so you can expect to see a lot more games being launched. Right now, there are several smartwatch games that are great fun. Here are four of the best.

 Infinity Loop

You can play various genres of games on smartwatches, from RPGs to text-based games. In the future, you may even be able to play online casino games on smartwatches. When it comes to puzzle games, Infinity Loop is one of the best. While the premise of Infinity Loop is simple, it is still difficult to master. Infinity Loop is one of the most popular smartwatch games available. More than ten million people have played the game, which involves creating intricate looping patterns. Connecting all the lines and corners to create perfect connections is a great way of increasing your logic skills, destressing, and clearing your mind. Infinity Loop is ideally suited to Android watches. Furthermore, it is free to play. However, if you manage to get past level 100, you will have to pay to keep playing. This simple puzzle game is deceptively engaging, and you can pause the game anytime without losing your progress.

Lifeline 2: Bloodline

Before high definition graphics and gorgeous animation dominated video games, text-based games were all the rage. Lifeline 2: Bloodline is the follow-up to the popular Lifeline RPG. It basically works like a choose your own adventure game. You guide a woman called Arika, who is on a quest to avenge her family. The story is both fascinating and complex, and with multiple routes to take at different points in the game, Lifeline 2: Bloodline is sure to keep you entertained for hours. It may only be a narrative text-based game without any flashy graphics, but in this modern-day and age of gaming, it is actually a real breath of fresh air.

Cupcake Dungeon

If you are looking for a super fun game that will cause you to have a smile on your face throughout, check out Cupcake Dungeon. You play the game as a cupcake superhero who is trying to save the land of Cupcakia from evil cakes, candies, and pastries. In this unique RPG, you get to kill angry strudels and attempt to defeat a doughnut with a stick. You can also collect treasure and upgrade weapons and power along the way. This fantastically humorous and whimsical game is available on Apple Watch and the iPhone.

Minecart Jumper

This Indiana Jones-like themed game is straight out of the arcade glory days of the 1980s. You play as a famous adventurer who is searching for an ancient Aztec artefact in an old abandoned mine. You suddenly find yourself surrounded by skeletons of previous explorers who did not make it. Then, you jump into a minecart and your rollercoaster of an adventure begins. You are sure to have lots of fun trying to jump over obstacles and hanging on to your hat as you rush down tunnels. For a smartwatch game, Minecart Jumper has beautiful graphics and a clean control system, making it one of the best smartwatch games on the market.

Growing competition between mobile industry leaders has led us to customer expectations of interoperability in personal devices. Mobile application development service providers strive to create applications that can provide a more engaging experience and be available on mobile devices and smartwatches. Games are not an exception, but it is also about workout apps, wellness trackers, and even communication programs.

Tech Review – The Aukey LS02 Smartwatch & Fitness Tracker. #Tech #Aukey #Smartwatch

Aukey is brand that delivers nice technology at an affordable price and we have been using their products for some time here on techbuzz we also have more in for review but today we are looking at the LS02 smartwatch/fitness tracker. With an abundance of choice on the market today there is no shortage to pick from no matter how much you have to spend. Fitbit and other brands such as Xiaomi have a good grip on the market today however this one gives them a run for their money and having test this for nearly a month it offers a bit more for your money coming in at around 38 euro, yes that is right…

It is not a slim skimpy band but it looks like a typical smartwatch albeit clean it it made out of polycarbonate looks nice and fits really well with a decent size screen and offering a decent 1.4 inch 320 x 320 screen with IP68 waterproofing. there is 12 fitness modes and an accompanying app that is really easy to use and sports up to 20 days battery life, this however depends on what information you have tied into the app I have found with all my apps running you get 10 days but if you just require the bare minimum you will get the 20 days.

For me I tried the full app list on my device and it is great for notifications they are a basic text on the device and you cant take calls as there is no speaker but for the price you cant really give out about that, you can also control your music on the watch too which is handy and you can get all your social media notifications on the device too and all of this keeps you away from your phone to an extent, For the fitness folks there is plenty here to keep them happy as you can see down below with all these workouts and it also includes your heart rate.

There is also a find my phone option on the watch too which is handy, What makes this watch different it it does not have an app store nor can you add faces to it, it does come with some settings on the device which is plenty to get you going if you are new to such which many seem to be taking up now with the pandemic and this shows you can pick up a decent wearable for a fraction of the cost of what is out there today on the market. Check out the video below for more as we look into to what is on this watch and the app.

Good Reasons Why Having A Smartwatch Is So Practical For You

Watches have always been a unique feature of a person’s dress code. Whether it is a watch for a formal occasion or for everyday use, the right watch can add that extra touch to your overall persona.

For both ladies and gents, there are a plethora of watch styles available to suit every taste. However, some see watches as a piece of jewellery, while others see them purely as a functional piece of hardware.

Whether you are looking for style or function, the modern smartwatch caters to both requirements. This genre of watches incorporates cutting-edge modern technology, syncs seamlessly to your smartphone, and also serves as a great timepiece.

Here are four ways a smartwatch will sync with your iOS or Android mobile device and provide you with practical everyday functionality.

  1.   A Powerful Travel Assistant

When it comes to choosing the right smartwatch there are many options available in the market for every kind of budget, age, and taste.

Nearly all modern smartwatches have the ability to integrate into your mobile devices’ GPS. They can be synced to either your standard Map app that came with the device or a specialist third-party app you purchased separately.

Whichever navigation app you use, your smartwatch will act as an extension of the app and guide you through the speaker while you travel, instead of you having to look at your mobile screen constantly.

Through vibrations, the smartwatch can tell you whether you need to turn, and through the onboard speaker, it will also give you directions. You can even see the map on the smartwatch screen.

Additionally, your phone can be charging on the dashboard and all your navigation is taken care of through the smartwatch.

  1.   A Communications Panel

As the watch syncs to your phone, it also becomes a secondary portal through which notifications can be seen. You can even answer phone calls through the smartwatch, which is a fantastic feature to have, especially while you’re driving.

The smartwatch will show messages and social media notifications and also allow you to reply to messages without having to pick up your phone. If you are having a hard time deciding which watch to go for, have a look at this website where you can read about all the modern smartwatches available and even compare models. You can also do other basic things such as sending a voice note, listening to a voice note or delaying a notification to alert you later.

It’s a great way to stay focused on what you are doing whether that is driving, working, exercising, or studying because you don’t have to pick up your phone, and possibly get distracted by other things on it.

  1.   Health Monitor

There are some features and functions that aren’t available on every smartwatch but even the most basic smartwatches offer a good range of health and fitness-related features.

For many people being able to see their heart rate, the amount of oxygen in their blood, the distance they have walked, and the calories they have burnt are strong enough reasons to buy a smartwatch. Smartwatches today offer very in-depth stats about your overall health and can also work as high-tech fitness counters, whether you want to measure distance, calories, or any other bodily stat.

It’s also a great feature for the elderly or people with illnesses and would like to have a constant monitor on their body stats.

If you wear the watch while you sleep it can even give you a detailed report about your sleep pattern and how your body behaved during the hours that you slept, like your heart rate, oxygen, and blood pressure.

  1.   Business

As we pivot further towards digital payment methods smartwatches are a fantastic way to use NFC technology. Rather than having to tap your phone or use some form of plastic money, you can do all the buying you need using your smartwatch as the payment portal.

Like modern smartphones, smartwatches come with NFC technology onboard, which when synced to your phone, directly connects to your Google Wallet or Apple pay service.

It means your watch is an entire payment service in itself and you don’t need to have your phone with you if you want to buy some groceries on your way back from a morning jog.

Nearly everything in our everyday life is going digital, whether it is entertainment, communication, navigation, or even health. Many of these services are now available through mobile phones and a smartwatch is a great tool that acts as an extension of your phone.

Rather than having to use your phone for everything, and if you are a heavy tech user, a smartwatch will make life a whole lot easier for you. Moreover, it’s not only about the technology, smartphones accessorise your style indicating to the world that you’re a modern person in a modern world.

Review – Moto 360 3rd Gen. #Moto360 #Moto3603rdGen #Tech

The 3rd Gen Moto 360 is the latest on offer and vastly improved over the well received first model that came out some years ago and in short for me it takes me away from my phone more now which is not a bad thing and effectively acts as a detox tool for me with rich notifications. Having a companion device is handy for most if you can find one that is affordable as there is many out there today that are not cheap and you could say this falls into that category as is and it was missing one big feature which would make the sale easier and that is it is missing a speaker to take calls on and would probably detach me from my phone even more. It is now on sale for 219 euro which is good but at the full price of 299 it is harder to swallow but do check the pricing as it does vary.

The build quality is excellent here and a watch I have yet managed not to scratch the screen on  due to the corning gorrila glass 3 and stainless steel build which makes it a more robust watch compared to the plastic version 1 which I still have and it is more beefy looking with two buttons on the right and one being a dialler that turns to navigate through the menu set up which is cool but you can also do the same by touch on the screen,it is akin to apples digital crown if you will.

Spec wise it comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 with 1GB RAM + 8GB Internal Memory,Bluetooth 4.2 and quick charge which is really good at 0-100% in 60 minutes with a 355mAh battery. The display is a 1.2″ Circular AMOLED (390×390) Full color always on display but has a bezel inside which takes up some screen estate which would have suited it better if not there I have seen smaller bezels on phones. You have GPS, NFC for google pay heart rate 3ATM water resistance.

On a whole the watch does deliver minus the usual Android wear bugs and for me has worked quite well and you can customise the watch as before with faces built in or like in my case I have used Facer but went back to the original watch face as I did with the first model, You can add information (tiles) to the screen to get the most use out of the watch too which again takes you away from your mobile phone and set what notifications you want this will impede on battery life too which is moderate but again this is down to the watch face you use and how much information is being sent to the phone and I went max out here because I want to spend less time on my phone and the fact you can directly respond to notifications on the watch makes it even better given there is limitations and a tiny keyboard you do have some predefined messages there that are brief but it does the job for me.

Yes you can screenshot your watch face by using the app which is handy for information or whatever the case might be for using it and a nice option to have at your disposal and you can see an array of images taken above of the OS and so on.

For me this is a great watch and the pricing depending on where and when you buy it and to compare it to others out there it has alot going for it but no stand out feature to buck the current trend and they missed out here by not having a speaker either, there is no wireless charging either and the design of the charging puck is rather odd with how the cable underneath was placed when it could of been easily just a plug in from the side and again proprietary charging which needs to go and that applies to most smartwatch makers and just make them USB/C.

This product was sent to us by Motorola with no compensation paid nor influence on my thoughts they are seeing the review the same time as you..
