The SOUNDPEATS Cove Pro Over-Ear Headphones come with Hi-Res Audio and LDAC and for the price you are getting an excellent package and again I will say the need to spend over 200 euro on headphones is gone out the window and SOUNDPEATS have delivered and excellent product here.

These are comfortable to wear with plush cups and again on the headband so for the long duration gamers music listeners or movie watchers these are ideal they also fold up but no travel case included in the box.

There is some controls on these headphones and one one side which is great, with the controls you have call control you can play and pause music skip and reverse tracks and so on you also have access to your voice assistant there is also a dedicated ANC button to switch bewtween modes.

The audio is excellent on these headphones and you should also do your adaptive EQ test to get the best results with the EQs on deck you have a choice you can also create your own if you wish, out of the box using what is there at the ready these sound fanstastic, having tested many genres movies and music they do not dissapoint the 40mm titanium drivers pack a real punch here, calls are fine too and they have excellent ANC there is no lag latencey noted either on testing which is thanks to BT 6.0.

Overalla solid pair of headphones that deliver on audio in all instances and great features for the price there is nothing to complain about.

Battery life is also great here however this vairies per user they claim up to 95 hours but real world testing for me with max volume and ANC etc I averaged about 60 hrs you also get 11 hours of use after a 10 minute charge which is excellent. You can also connect to two devices which is handy for those like me who work on PC laptop and phone.

Overall for the money here these are worth the spend and knowing you will get decent sound an app great battery life and more.

Deadpool

Deadpool believes that he needs to do it because Peter Parker has been responsible for some of the worst science projects in the universe.

Depending on where you read and who you listen to, Deadpool either accidentally kills Spiderman instead of Peter Parker (which makes absolutely no sense), or they get into a fight while Deadpool is in the middle of going on a rampage and Deadpool puts a gun under Spiderman’s chin and shoots him.

On top of this, how Spiderman is saved depends on where you read and who you listen to. In the version of the story where Deadpool somehow accidentally kills Spiderman, he has to go to hell in order to retrieve Spiderman’s soul. In the other version of the story, Deadpool can’t face watching Spiderman dying in his arms, so he mixes some of his own mutated blood with that of Spiderman in order to bring him back to life.

While neither of these stories makes a lot of sense, it’s clear that Spiderman was incredibly lucky to have survived, owing to a huge amount of plot armour!

Domino

Domino has the ability to subconsciously initiate random telekinetic acts that affect probability in her favour. While she can’t make impossible things happen, she is able to make improbable situations appear in her line of sight which causes her to have good luck, and her opponents to have bad luck.

While Domino needs to be on this list as the luckiest superhero owing to her ability to create situations in her favour and get out of sticky situations by being lucky, it’s clear that her luck does eventually run out. Domino was supposedly killed in the film Deadpool 2, but there are loads of fan theories spreading across the internet that question if she’s really dead and create space for her to come back.

Marvel DC Does Lucky Characters So Well

While the whole premise of the superhero genre is that the characters are able to fight their way out of almost every situation there are always a few scenarios where it’s unbelievable that even a superhero would survive. If DC ever gets into too much of a tight spot they simply reset the multiverse to start again with a clean slate. Of course, it isn’t just Marvel DC that do lucky characters well; there are a whole host of movie and comic book heroes that seem to have an endless supply of good luck.

Are Superheroes a Bit Too Lucky?

When you consider some of the scraps that superheroes have gotten themselves into; you could be forgiven for thinking that luck is on their side a little too often. After all, any superhero worth his weight in gold is a mortal enemy that is constantly plotting to bring them down – so how can they be so lucky? Well, the truth is that audiences love a good guy and they love good guys that do well. Seeing their favourite superhero succumb to a series of bad luck just won’t cut it when it comes to a hero to look up to. We want our superheroes to be flameproof, lucky and safe – otherwise, what is so super about them?

Harry Potter fans in Dublin celebrate the 20th anniversary

Harry Potter fans, dressed in their best robes and Hogwarts scarves, gathered to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone releasing in UK & Irish cinemas, by witnessing the launch of the iconic Platform 9 ¾ Trolley in Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin.

The installation allows fans to recreate the moment when Harry first made it on to Platform 9 ¾, by running through a magical brick wall in London’s King’s Cross station, before taking the 11 o’clock  train to Hogwarts, which it did every year on September 1st .

The trolley, a symbol of the gateway between the ‘Muggle’ and wizarding world, is situated on the concourse of King’s Cross Station, alongside the Harry Potter Shop at Platform 9 ¾, and is visited every year by over 2 million people, serving as a symbol of the Harry Potter legacy for the last two decades, and over the last two weeks cities across the UK have been able to experience the magic too.

The first 100 lucky fans in Dublin were surprised with LEGO® Harry Potter goodies to celebrate the launch. The trolley installation will be available at Dundrum Town Centre for Harry Potter fans to visit until 7th November.

Paul Sheeran, 8 years old, said “I’ve been preparing all day for this as I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. I was a little bit nervous but very excited to be here. My favourite thing about Harry Potter is all the friendships and that everyone is different, no one is seen as not good enough”

Criona Brassill, 46 years old, said “it’s been wonderful for the kids to get a photo here today and feel that bit closer to the magic of the films”

Over the course of the tour the trolley has visited Edinburgh, Birmingham, Cardiff, Belfast and now Dublin.

As part of the anniversary celebrations Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone has returned to UK and Irish cinemas for a limited time, with Movies @ Dundrum cinema additionally hosting special screenings of all the Harry Potter films this weekend (November 6th and 7th) to coincide with the arrival of the Platform 9 ¾ Trolley.

The trolley tour was launched to thank the fan community for their love and support over the past two decades and help them capture their own version of this iconic moment from the first film . The official 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone will be celebrated on the 16th November 2021.
