Tech Review – Soundpeats RunFree Lite Open Ear Headphones

The Soundpeats RunFree Lite are akin to the many bone conduction headsets we have seen a rise of over the last year or so and now getting popular. These are more aimed at the fitness folk but can be used by anyone being honest and I am now starting to grow on these, I remember years back I was anti in ear earbuds without the stems and now love them but it is simply a new take or tech cycle on the latest ideas which is good.

When it comes to looks and style it is a familiar pattern here as is with all these types of headphones it is kept simple and rests on your neck and is comfortable there is no tips or in ear buds to contend with as they rest on your outer ear so it makes them easy to use straight out of the box and get going, you will need to update the app on using the first time like with many earbud or headphone manufacturers today. You will need to do a test and you should do it to get the best performance it only takes a few mins to complete.

The App itself as seen below had a familiar UI as there is some differences between their products but the Soundpeats app overall is fantastic and one of the best ones out there today, see the screenshots below and the full video review of what can be done in the app it is simple to use and has a superb EQ and works really well on these headphones considering they are not in ears and done a better job than I had anticipated.

So the sound then.. It is a thing with these and how it does sound to the user, there is some noise leakage as expected being what these are but nothing on the same level earbuds and headphones can be again which is surprising. You will never get the same level of sound as you would from traditional earbuds or headphones but these do a damn good job of getting close to it and calls are great too, not only that there is a gaming mode and this also works well. You also have your awareness about you which is important if out jogging in the dark or cycling and so on which many folk do these days which is rather silly however you need your tunes but you need your awareness more and these give you both.

The controls here are all on one side which again makes them simple to use and all the functions are there you would expect and you can see how all that works in the video below and how simple and effective this headset is from Soundpeats and their latest entry into their portfolio of value for money products.

Best Apps for Men: Losing Weight the Smart Way

What Makes the Best Lose Weight App for Men?

For men looking to shed some weight successfully, the best weight loss app should be comprehensive and tailored to their individual needs.

A great weight loss motivation app like Lasta should be user-friendly and offer resources that make weight loss an achievable goal. It should also provide regular encouragement, useful diet tips, helpful exercise ideas, progress-tracking tools, and advice about how to develop better eating habits.

Finding the right app can make a big difference for men looking to lose weight. The best weight loss apps offer users easy-to-understand tracking and monitoring features, convenient reminders to stay on track, and goal-setting capabilities to keep users motivated. But beyond these basic features, look for things like integrated exercise programs and meal plans that allow you to personalize your approach while also providing professional guidance.

When searching for the best weight loss app for men, consider the overall user experience to ensure it’s something you can use daily without becoming discouraged or confused.

Finally, an effective weight loss app for men should create personalized plans based on their unique lifestyle and health needs in order to ensure that they lose weight in a sustainable and healthy manner.

Tips on How to Maximize Your Results With a Lose Weight App

1. Pay attention to the First 5%–10%

Consider the major health advantages that can result from even modest weight loss rather than telling yourself that you need to lose 25 pounds and challenging yourself with what seems like an impossible goal.

Establish more manageable goals. You can significantly improve your health and reduce your risk of conditions, including type 2 diabetes, stroke, cardiovascular disease, and several types of cancer, by losing just 5% to 10% of your total body weight (TBW).

2. Implement long-term changes to your lifestyle and behavior

Avoid using the word “diet” when attempting to lose weight. When you’re trying to lose some weight, you don’t want to continuously think about food because dieting may be displeasing and make you hungry.

You don’t have complete control over the number on the scale when it comes to weight loss, but you do have control over what you eat, how much you walk, and other factors like stress and sleep that affect your weight.

3. Consume more plants

According to research, a plant-based diet encourages weight loss and is more straightforward to follow than a low-calorie diet. Additionally, it is nutrient-rich and offers a host of health advantages.

Produce aids in weight loss because it is high in fiber and water. These are the two nutrients that have no calories but fill you up and make you feel full.

Green smoothies for breakfast, salads or shaved veggies for lunch, fruit for snacks, and sweets are all healthy choices. Have different stir-fries for dinner, add vegetables to your pasta dishes, and stir them into your soups.

4. Don’t skip breakfast

Avoiding breakfast will not aid in weight loss. You can be deficient in essential nutrients and end up nibbling more frequently throughout the entire day because of hunger.

Reviewing the 8 Most Popular Weight Loss Apps for Men

You can learn how to eat more healthily with the help of a variety of premium and free applications. Finding one that supports a variety of healthy foods in proportions that are suitable for your needs is crucial.

The top 8 weight loss apps for guys, suitable for different lifestyles, are listed below:

Lasta app

Lasta is a popular weight loss app designed specifically for men looking to control their health and fitness. This intuitive mobile app provides users with tailored meal plans, step-by-step workout guides, daily reminders, and more to help keep them on track throughout their weight loss journey.

It also includes insightful tracking tools to track progress and monitor dietary choices, so users can adjust their lifestyle as needed to reach their goals.

With its easy-to-use design and comprehensive features, this app is the perfect tool for any man wanting to achieve healthier results with his diet and exercise plan.

MyFitnessPal

With the help of this app, you can effortlessly keep track of all of your meals, workouts, and sleeping habits, as well as get advice on how many calories you should burn each day to reach your weight reduction objectives.

You will only frequently be typing in new meals because of their extensive food database, which is a result of their immense popularity. It is especially beneficial if you wish to try weight loss on your own and have a basic understanding of fitness and nutrition.

Rise

This app pairs you with a registered dietitian (RD) based on your nutritional objectives and pushes you to take images of everything you eat so your RD can give you feedback almost daily.

While the R.D.s connected to the app can undoubtedly aid in weight loss, it can also be an excellent alternative if you’re looking to gain weight, enhance athletic performance, or add muscle mass (especially given how many different weight-loss apps there are).

Fooducate

Although this app now has the ability to track your diet and activity, its original focus was on a UPC scanner that might help you decide whether or not to put the packaged food you were thinking of purchasing in your cart.

It sort of assigns a rating to the food alerts you to any ingredients you should be wary about and suggests healthier alternatives.

Noom

Noom shows up a team of behavioral health experts who’ve researched oncology, hypertension, diabetes prevention and management, and more to design a curriculum that addresses the cause of weight loss struggles. Its dieters learn to focus on their mindset before they focus on meals.

The app’s philosophy is, “once you determine the things you’re ready to work on, your mindset will help you form new neural connections over time to change your habits.”

PlateJoy

One of the premium service meal planning applications, it lets you define objectives like weight loss and select from a variety of nutritional regimens like keto, dairy-free, paleo, and more.

Additionally, it offers the flexibility to specify various portion sizes for each member of your household, as well as the ability to filter out substances that you like to avoid.

WW app

A reputable weight loss program that has been proven to work is WW, formerly known as Weight Watchers.

Based on their calorie density and nutrient content, foods and beverages are given point values under the WW points system. Most notably, there are no forbidden foods.

Lose It!

Using the app’s database of more than 33 million foods, restaurant items, and brands, you can quickly track your food intake after creating a plan.

The software includes a barcode scanner and a customized recipe creator, among other things, to make tracking your intake even simpler. Additionally, it remembers the meals you type regularly so you can choose them fast from a list that is unique to you.

How to Pick the Right App For Your Weight Loss Goals?

There are a few major considerations when it comes to finding the right app to help you reach your weight loss goals.

  1. First, consider your current lifestyle and needs. There is an enormous variety of weight loss apps available, so it’s important to find one that suits your lifestyle and fits into your routine.

Tech Review – DIKTOYOU Men’s Smartwatch

The smartwatch is today for some seen as an expensive companion device which is true to one extent but over the years they have come down in price and more brands to sell them alongside their smartphones, For example I have my original Moto 360 which was my first smartwatch and now I have the Apple Watch Series 7, Pixel Watch A Galaxy watch 4 and several other cheaper brands that all cost less than 100 euro which this one does but this one has features none of those sub 100 euro watches have and even more expensive watches and two stand out features is a speaker to take calls and a voice assistant and also has GPS tracking.

OK so the thing here is this is a generic watch we have seen before and the software to go with it but it is kept simple and everyone wants something different and that is life, it may have some restrictions as to what you can do overall however for the price it a seriously decent watch to get you started of you do not own a smartwatch and do not want a convoluted mess of submenus or set-up this is one watch you should look at and in fact we have done several similar styled watches here before which you can find in the search option.

We go through the set-up the app and all that good stuff in the video review below so you will see what this entails in comparison to other watches out there today, most people today opt for fitness trackers and these are cheaper etc but do not offer the full suite expected on a fully fledged smartwatch and this watch is kind of offering both here which is a good thing.

The watch is a solid build with an IP67 rating and comes with two straps it is not a cheap plastic watch which is often the case at this price point too and stellar battery life it does lots of fitness activities has a huge selection of predefined watchfaces and measures the most important health features and is pretty accurate after comparing to other smartwatches I own.

Check out the video below for more and see how the speaker sounds the calls sound and how it works in general as it is a better view of what this offers for the price. For me it is a great watch to get started and overall a great watch to use and the only place it lacks is on replying on the watch itself but as for the rest it is fine, notifications come through they are a simple line of text and not detailed like more expensive watches but still gives you control at a glance whether or not you need to pick up your phone and one thing for me with smartwatches is they do keep you off your phone and today that is probably a good thing as we spend to much time on them.

Top 5 Health Tracking Smartwatches

A reliable fitness tracking watch can help you get better sleep, become more active, and become more aware of your physical activity and habits. But finding the best one for your needs, your budget, and your fitness goals can be as overwhelming as trying a new sport or getting back into shape!

The best health or fitness smartwatch for you will depend on these and other factors but can help guide you into the best options for how you get in steps or activity. The advancements in the tracking and monitoring abilities of these watches can also help guide your shopping decision.

1. Apple Watch Series 6

Apple promises to make your health journey a lot simpler with a few new features and some upgraded existing ones. First up is their Blood Oxygen Level monitor which works with infrared and LED lighting on the sensor to measure your levels through the layers of skin! The second cool new feature for the Apple Series 6 is its ECG monitor. And when you combine the two new features with the upgraded existing ones, you are left with a smartwatch that can handle 32 GB of music, audiobooks, or podcasts; sleep tracking; underwater workouts; and customization.

2. FitBit Sense

This sleek fitness tracker is top of the list for the number of features included compared to the starting price of $399.95. With this investment into your health you will receive numerous helpful features. Some of the Senses’s nifty health tracking features include a stress management app, sleep tracking, skin temperature reader, guided exercises, and the ability to track your activity all day down to the floors, steps, or calories. The technical features also make this a great choice with 6-day battery life, tap-to-pay capabilities, Google and Alexa connectivity, and reliable GPS.

3. Samsung Galaxy Watch 3

While the name says Samsung, this new Galaxy device is compatible with certain other Android and iOS operating systems/devices. The smartwatches from Samsung are the trackers which resemble real watches the most in appearance, but which come with a load of features focused on your health. One drawback is that this smartwatch is not waterproof, but rather water-resistant. But to make up for this, Samsung created a “military-grade” shell to protect your watch on your most active days. This smartwatch includes all your basic fitness tracking capabilities with reliable GPS.

4. FitBit Versa 3

For a smaller investment into your health and well-being, the Fitbit Versa 3 is a great choice with helpful and motivational tracking features. It also makes for a stylish piece on your arm with several customization options. This smartwatch can get you up and moving with workout GPS maps, heart-rate monitoring, and access to your Spotify controls. The Versa 3 is a great balance of smartwatch and fitness tracking capabilities, is a bit cheaper than some of its counterparts, but is known to be easier to break and to be less durable.

5. Samsung Galaxy Watch 2

The Galaxy makes a good smartwatch option for the same reasons Apple does: they each have a huge existing user-base. There is a good chance any of Samsung’s newer smartwatches are compatible with your phone, and the Galaxy Watch 2 is a more economic option than the newer Apple smartwatches. The Galaxy smartwatch can auto-track your fitness, has decent sleep-tracking abilities (not always the most reliable).

Tech Review – SHURE Aonic 215 True Wireless. #SHURE #Tech

SHURE is a well known audio brand but perhaps not so much at consumer level and is a company geared for audiophiles in the music industry for example but now they have launched true wireless for the consumer and the 215 TWS are what is on offer giving the consumer an idea of what they can do.

Fit is really good here and they will not move so if you jog or go to the gym these are perfect, comfort is also great and with the comply foam tips they offer good isolation straight away. Once on you will forget they are there after a while. The controls are great, a big circular button that gives you options to control music on the go, minus volume control. The thing to take note of here is you dont touch the earbud which in some cases put pressure on the ears making commands and so on.

Sound quality is clean not with a heavy bass but overall clean crisp and clear with vocals, music, direction and instruments it is a well balanced set up and only boosted with their own app which is great to see, Calls are great however only on the one side and the same for independent use. This is common enough though with true wireless earbuds so not a huge issue in fairness. There is also no lag latency here when using for videos or Netflix for example..

Battery life is quite good at the higher end of the scale, Given the case is bigger than normal it works well and keeps your earbuds secure and looks high end with the materials used and will turn heads when sat on a table.  Overall these are a great set of earbuds to have and for those into fitness and they show what the company can do and I would love to see how their headphones fair out too.
