It is also Eco-Friendly & Energy Efficient and Uses 60% less energy than traditional electric blankets and Machine Washable & Lightweight: Perfect for families and on-the-go use. All with Carbon Nanotube Technology and Delivers rapid, even heat without bulk or safety concerns.

The presentation is excellent and you get all you need in the box including cables a remote and a travel bag which is convenient, the remote has several controls on board and simple to pair up if not paired out of the box.

The blanket itself is luxurious so to speak with a soft feel all round, house in the blanket there is a button and charge port behind the zipper which is kept safe when not in use.

The button will change colour on your settings and this gets warm fairly fast from as little as 30 seconds so you will be warm in no time at all here.

World’s first silicon chip design breakthrough in Limerick

The world’s first fabrication and design of a silicon chip without direct human input has been completed by researchers at Lero, the University of Limerick-based Research Centre for Software, heralding the possibility of creating a new high-tech export-based industry in Ireland.

Professor of Machine Learning at the University of Limerick Conor Ryan led the research team which has just filed a patent for the totally Irish-designed process that came from a project entitled “Automatic Design of Digital Circuits’ (ADDC) funded by Research Ireland.

“This is the first time ever anywhere in the world that machine learning has been used to design and fabricate a silicon chip entirely from scratch. This could pave the way for a new era of automated digital circuit design with Ireland at its centre, creating a new export industry with many well-paying jobs.

“The patent secures the proprietary methods and novel approach to automating silicon chip design’s traditionally manual, complex, and error-prone process. The techniques created by Lero replace traditional methods with an entirely automated flow, reducing the need for human intervention and minimising the risks of design errors,” said Prof Ryan, a lead researcher at Lero.

The Limerick-based team plans to work with selected global chip design and fabrication companies following the successful manufacture of a Lero-designed chip by world-leading chip foundry TSMC, paving the way for a new era of automated digital circuit design.

Prof Ryan said their patent covers the use of a grammar-based optimisation engine that ensures all generated designs are manufacturable and ready for production and opens the door to smarter, faster, and more sustainable hardware design, with potential applications in consumer electronics, healthcare, automotive, and more.

“The system combines cutting-edge machine learning with industry-standard tools and workflows, ensuring the results are compatible with modern manufacturing processes.

“It radically reduces the time and financial resources required to produce integrated circuits, democratising access to advanced hardware innovation. Our process also eliminates an entire step in the traditional verification process,” he added.

Prof. Ryan acknowledged that the project was made possible through partnerships with leading experts and organisations, utilising TSMC’s world-class fabrication facilities.

The process is protected under European Patent Application No. 24213734.7 held by the University of Limerick and the Technological University of the Shannon: Midlands Midwest, and covers Digital Circuit Creation Tool and Method.

Workhuman revolutionises workplace insights with industry-first AI Assistant

Workhuman, the company revolutionising the way employees celebrate, connect with and appreciate each other in the workplace, has unveiled the latest innovation in its platform – the addition of a generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) Assistant to its cultural [workforce] intelligence tool, Workhuman iQ. Workhuman is launching this tool as many HR and business leaders struggle to access organisational insights, which are often buried in static, incomplete, and cumbersome data analytics systems. Workhuman iQ offers an intuitive generative AI interface that surfaces dynamic and actionable answers and insights powered by an organisation’s rich, authentic, and unique Social Recognition programme data, and Workhuman’s 25 years of culture and recognition research.

Workhuman iQ is the only solution in the industry that provides a comprehensive view of an organisation’s people dynamics, performance and skills, state of cultural health, and where and how work is getting done. Workhuman’s new AI Assistant within Workhuman iQ leverages the world’s first recognition-specific language model, built by Workhuman, and uses data from a customer’s own recognition programme to provide real-time insight that can inform decisive actions to maximise people and business results.

This innovation allows people managers and business leaders to quickly and easily get accurate and interactive answers to many types of employee, team, department, and organisation-level questions. These include: “Who within the organisation is demonstrating our company values?”“What is the current skills profile of my team?”“What impact is employee recognition having on top-talent or overall retention in my department?” and “Who are the best internal candidates for this role?” The AI Assistant provides highly accurate responses, putting answers at the fingertips of those who need them most without the need for even more technology or data analytics expertise.

Transforming the way companies monitor and enhance their culture, Workhuman iQ leverages proprietary algorithms and AI to analyse data within the Workhuman platform, offering leaders and managers clear insights into the state of their culture and talent. Acting as a virtual consultant and a single source of truth, AI Assistant and Workhuman iQ goes beyond reporting, uncovering previously hidden workplace insights and providing unparalleled insights into people dynamics, performance, skills, and more, empowering leaders to make informed and strategic decisions. The manual and labour-intensive process of generating actionable insights is replaced with real-time, on-demand trends, patterns, and precise answers to people and organisational questions.

“AI is changing the way work gets done, and with the introduction of generative AI tools within programmes that generate significant data, it opens the door for people without analytics backgrounds to easily access information it would have otherwise taken them days or weeks to uncover,” said Kevin Heinzelman, Workhuman Head of Product Management. “Workhuman iQ analyses an organisation’s unique recognition data and surfaces personalised, recommended actions based on identified patterns to help managers make informed decisions and foster an encouraging environment – further driving optimal team engagement, retention, and performance. Our solution equips managers with the information they need to better support their team and induces them to take a more proactive role in shaping culture, and our AI Assistant takes those analytics capabilities to the next level.”

Salesforce Announces Einstein GPT, the World’s First Generative AI for CRM

Salesforce, the global leader in CRM, today launched Einstein GPT, the world’s first generative AI CRM technology, which delivers AI-created content across every sales, service, marketing, commerce, and IT interaction, at hyperscale. With Einstein GPT, Salesforce will transform every customer experience with generative AI.

Einstein GPT will infuse Salesforce’s proprietary AI models with generative AI technology from an ecosystem of partners and real-time data from the Salesforce Data Cloud, which ingests, harmonizes, and unifies all of a company’s customer data.

With Einstein GPT, customers can then connect that data to OpenAI’s advanced AI models out of the box, or choose their own external model and use natural-language prompts directly within their Salesforce CRM to generate content that continuously adapts to changing customer information and needs in real time.

For example, Einstein GPT can generate personalized emails for salespeople to send to customers, generate specific responses for customer service professionals to more quickly answer customer questions, generate targeted content for marketers to increase campaign response rates, and auto-generate code for developers.

“The world is experiencing one of the most profound technological shifts with the rise of real-time technologies and generative AI. This comes at a pivotal moment as every company is focused on connecting with their customers in more intelligent, automated, and personalized ways.

“Einstein GPT, in combination with our Data Cloud and integrated in all of our clouds as well as Tableau, MuleSoft, and Slack, is another way we are opening the door to the AI future for all our customers, and we’ll be integrating with OpenAI at launch.” said Marc Benioff, CEO of Salesforce.

Integration with OpenAI: Salesforce is combining OpenAI’s enterprise-grade ChatGPT technology with Salesforce’s private AI models to deliver relevant and trusted AI-generated content.
