YouTube – 60fps Live Streaming now supported on YouTube in HTML5 #YouTube #HTML5

YouTube launched 60fps video playback a few months ago and people have enjoyed it,now they have launched 60fps Live Streaming.

60fps live streaming, launched today as an early preview on HTML5-compatible browsers. When you start a live stream on YouTube at 60fps, it will transcode your stream into 720p60 and 1080p60, which means silky smooth playback for gaming and other fast-action videos. .

Also added another long-requested feature for live streaming: HTML5 playback. As of this week, YouTube live streams will use an HTML5 player in supported browsers. And because our HTML5 player supports variable speed playback, you can skip backward in a stream while it’s live and watch at 1.5x or 2x speed to catch back up.

Samsung introduce “Flow” as beta to Fight W10 “Continuity” By @VicenteA_George #Samsung #Android #Flow #App

In the world we live now is almost sure that we always have the need to be “on everything”.

Apple has “Handoff”, Microsoft will have “Continuity” with W10 and now Samsung present us “Flow”

Flow is more than just an app, is a way from Samsung to integrate their devices in a way where you can use each one to do what they are made to do.

Flow is based on two simple things:

Transfer & Dafer

Transfer: is for moving an activity to the right device for a task and pick it up right where you left off rather than starting again.

Defer: is for “pause” an activity when the right device is not at hand or there just isn’t enough time to finish up a task. Then you can resume it when you’re ready.

Another feature that seems to be omitted in the description is “Notifications

You’ll receive the Notifications on the devices you’re using and choose if take it there or move it to another one.

Let’s take a look at what Samsung wants for us:

Looks nice isn’t it?

But there’s two downsides

1) It’s in Beta only available in the U.S
2) Is not fully compatible with all Samsung devices yet

Here’s a full list of compatible ones:

• Galaxy S4*
• Galaxy S5
• Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge
• Note 4 and Note Edge
• Galaxy Alpha
• Galaxy Tab S
• Galaxy Tab A
• Galaxy Note Pro 12.2¨*
• Galaxy Note 10.1 2014*

* =  experimental; contact flow-inquiries@samsung.com if you have trouble

The future looks bright for us, but we’ll have to wait a little more to enjoy things like this on full capacity.

Do you have more than one of the device mentioned above and want to give a try?

You can download Flow Here

Twitter and Google team up for real time tweets in google search. #Google #Twitter

Starting today, U.S. users searching in English will see relevant Tweets in their search results within the Google app (iOS and Android) and mobile web. The desktop web version is coming shortly, and we have plans to bring this feature to more countries in the coming months. This enhaces search results for those searching on the both platforms bringing the latest news up right in google search.

On a blog bost it says…

For example, if you’re interested in hearing more from Taylor Swift, a quick search on Google will pull up her most recent Tweets. Or, if you’re a TV buff, a search for#MadMen will bring up the most relevant news and Tweets about Sunday’s series finale.

When tapping on a Tweet in Google search, you’ll be taken directly to Twitter where you can view the Tweet and discover additional content.

By deeply integrating Twitter’s real-time content into Google search, we hope you find it easier than ever to explore your interests across both Twitter and Google.

LG G4 Global roll-out begins shipping in key markets #LG #G4 #Android

The LG G4 has started shipping to key markets but will Ireland be one of them ? Like the past few devices from LG which no operator touched here its yet to be seen if it will actually launch here in Ireland,as the G Flex 2 has not been seen, the same applied to the G3 which was a great device.

We do hope to see the G4 here and some operators show some love as LG have upped their game over the last two years and on many of our local forums people are screaming for the devices. The devices themselves are quite nice and a worthy device to have on Irish shelves.

SEOUL, May 18, 2015 — Customers in key markets around the world will finally get their chance to own the latest advanced smartphone from LG Electronics (LG), one which industry experts have widely praised for its exceptional camera, vivid and expansive display, and willingness to set new rules in defining what a premium mobile device could be.

LG G4 will begin rolling out this week to consumers in key markets around the world, continuing throughout the month into June and beyond as more retailers and operators see what LG G4 has to offer their customers. Starting in Hong Kong, the G4 will follow with rollouts in Turkey, Russia and Singapore, eventually including most of Europe, North America, CIS, Southeast Asia, Middle East/Africa and South/Central America. Approximately 180 carriers and retails are already on board as G4 partners.
