After the acquisition of Whatsapp by facebook all customers were worry about the destiny of the app (us included).
But this week Whatsapp for Android received an update with an awesome new feature! “End-to-End encryption”.
“End-to-end” means that “the people behind the curtain” won’t be able to know what the persons in the conversation are talking about. The company will serve as connection between users, but only the two users will have access to the conversation itself.
WhatsApp partnered with Open Whisper Systems for the launch, using open source code to build in the new features.
Earlier this year, a big scandal saw light regarding the US NSA and others (like facebook, Apple and if I’m not wrong Google) from let the government have access to personal data of their clients.
Back then a new hope emerge from the ashes to help us all, the new app Telegram became available in almost all app stores. Now this app is available for all platforms.

With this new feature Whatsapp turns itself in the biggest messaging app to offer this kind of security. (the app have almost 600 millions actives users)
It’s still unknown when or if this feature will be avaible for WP and IOS but having it in Android is awesome!

Drop is a new kitchen innovation created by four Irish techies that just so happened to have an empty stomach and an idea at the same time.
Drop is a teardrop shaped measuring plate that pairs with an iPad app to turn cooking into something that doesn’t bring on sighs of complaint. It brings you through preparation, cooking and even serving – but it also has a few tricks up it’s sleeve that make it even more appealing. The Drop app knows that there’s a high chance that we just used our last bottle of vanilla extract, or whatever ingredient you can’t find in the back of the press – so it suggests alternatives to these ingredients with the click of a button, pretty neat right?
As well as that, say you only have 300g of flour, but you need 400g, just tell the app this and it’ll automatically adjust the amount of all the other ingredients so that whatever you’re making still turns out great.
What really makes sure of this device’s success though is it’s tie in with Harvey-Norman stores, as Co- founder and CEO Ben Harris says that they’ll be “in every store in Ireland”. This is a great achievement for them as it will ensure great sales, speaking of which, the device is set to cost €99.95 and can be bought on the 24th of November.
Apple have just sent out invites for their traditional Autumn event which will take place on the 16th October at 6PM Irish time,this is typically the time events happen with Apple.

Whats expected is a new ipad and new macs,it just happens to be also the Apple macs 30th birthday so in the image below shows perhaps an obvious clue..the tagline “its been way too long” also suggests maybe a new ipod or as mentioned a new line of macs,and Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite software,or even Beats Music, sure time will tell and i’m sure millions will be glued in to find out hopefully Apple will livestream the event but probably will not..

I’m sure by now that almost everyone has heard of the “oh so exciting” iPhone 6 and 6 plus, and if you haven’t, why are you here?
Apple, of course, made sure to put out there that, even though they made fun of Samsung for making rather big handsets just last year, it’s alright for them to do it now, because, well just because they say so. Apple, can you stop being hypocrites for just a minute? I’m trying to write here, where was I?
Oh yes, the “new” iPhones.
There’s a lot of things wrong with them, a lot, but I’m not going to mention them here. I’m not going to point out the protruding camera which will easily scratch, the questionable battery or even the lackluster of not bumping up the camera’s megapixels, I simply wouldn’t point that out. Asides from these issues, am I the only one that’s pretty sick of Apple being conservative?
The one feature that I actually think is impressive is the 240fps slow-motion video option, even if it’s at 720p, it is still an impressive feature, but that’s where it ends.
Remember the days when OEM’s were improving their devices so much that you almost wanted to wait the extra year for the newer model? Yeah, Apple ruined that. They have become so conservative in their device updates that it actually sickens me. Think about it, if the new iPhone had a 13mp non-protruding camera and a better battery but stayed at the same price, how much better would it be?
A lot. A lot better.
And it’s not like those additions would have taken much out of their profit margin, considering how ludicrously expensive they already are.
Other OEM’s like Samsung and LG and HTC are still innovating, thankfully, but can we rely on them to keep upping the anti while Apple drift along but still have a lot of market share? We’ll see in the future, but until then, Dear Apple: wake me up when you’re not conservative.

Apple has determined that a very small percentage of iPhone 5 devices may suddenly experience shorter battery life or need to be charged more frequently. The affected iPhone 5 devices were sold between September 2012 and January 2013 and fall within a limited serial number range.

If you believe your iPhone 5 was affected by this issue, and you paid to replace your battery, you can contact Apple about a refund.
This worldwide Apple program doesn’t extend the standard warranty coverage of the iPhone 5. The program covers affected iPhone 5 batteries for two years after the first retail sale of the unit or until March 1, 2015, whichever provides longer coverage.
