Samsung Music app now available for Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 edge owners.

If you are the owner of the latest devices from Samsung the music app is now available for your devices today,the app is free of course and you can check the play store or use the link below..This app was native to its own store and now its running now as a beta. The app is just like any other streaming music app and was not present on these two devices at launch..The app is though compatible with devices running of Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

 

The app supports playback for multiple sound formats like MP3, FLAC, AAC and WMA. It allows users to sort song lists by categories which include Genre, Folder, Composer, Album, Track and Artist.

Samsung Music is however is optimized for Samsung devices only.

Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge – Double unboxing #Samsung #S7 #S7Edge #Ireland

The Samsung S7 and S7 Edge are the latest flagships to hit our shores and they are quite nice,A incremental upgrade if you will would be a good term on how they fit in the Galaxy Portfolio but  there is lots to like this time round,if you have not seen one yet they have been on display the last week or so and there is now plenty of demo units in stores for all to see if you fancy picking one of these bad boys up when they go on sale this week,those who pre-ordered the device probably have it by now and I am sure they are enjoying the latest instalment from Samsung.

The devices themselves have slightly changed from the old S6 family and for the better,with some design language of old and new,With the rounded backs and the Micro Sd card slot back,IP68 waterproof rating,new improved camera which tackles low light photography,Marshmallow out of the box there is plenty to enjoy and a bigger battery. Also to note VR,It is going to be big this year and there was some deals floating about with either a free VR headset or subsidised one if you have not tried it out yet you need to..

Review – One for the ladies – Pink Ulak Knox Armor case for the Samsung Galaxy S6. #Ulak #Review

This time we have went Pink for the ladies and most cases are a generic colour this time we thought we would change the tone and we did.The Samsung S6 is a popular device and make no mistake there is plenty of female owners out there that sport one. Lets take a look at the Ulak case for the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Packaging is the same as our previous reviews and has no change at all,it simple and effective and tough enough for transportation with padding inside the box to protect it some more,not that its needed as it is a very robust case which comes in two pieces and also easy to install on your device.

All ports on the case for the S6 can be easily accessed and there is a flap present which locks well when not in use on the MicroUSB and headphone sockets this will add more protection to these areas from dirt and dust which can be a problem at times and is a welcome addition to the normal offerings we see. The case has a nice soft edge with good grip on all sides and thicker bumper areas in the corners to give more protection should you drop your phone,the corner is the most likely place you device gets hit when dropped.The back of the case also selected point with rubber toppings to stop the phone from slipping,also to note the camera and flash areas are recessed so again away from harms way.

The keys also work quite fine with no issues to report and work well,they might seem a bit still at first but will loosen up,this would be common in some cases but the buttons on the case are soft and not like the plastic backing you see which is also a tad slippy but the design does not let you feel this due to the rubber edges and makes safe for leaving face or back down as seen in the images above there is a good clearance for the screen on the front. The case had no effect on functionality at all and the camera or front sensors not affected on how the case is mounted,overall the case is rather a good quality case and protects your device more than adequate even though it will add some size to your Samsung S6 and might be just a little to much for some,but it is better to be safe than sorry and in Pink it looks rather well and worth the spend which is around €12 plus shipping from Amazon and available in an array of colours.

 

 

 

Samsung said to give free VR headset with pre-order of the Galaxy S7. #Samsung #VR

Samsung is said to be giving free VR headsets with the upcoming Galaxy S7. This is a good move from Samsung and in time for the onslaught of VR headset released that are coming this year. This would put the technology into peoples hands for free and even though they current VR headset can be got now cheap enough this would entice users to try out the technology which is quite cool yet limited with content..

Samsung is also keen on getting a piece of the growing VR market, and as suggested by Rory O’Neill, Vice President Brand & Product Manager of Samsung Electronics, most of the VR content will be in fact produced by the consumers. That’s why Samsung will be offering a free Gear VR headset with each Galaxy S7 smartphone or at least in the Netherlands.

For now this is a regional offer according to the report and it is something that should be made more available around the world,As is,it is hard to get the current VR headset and there is not much activity with operators even offering the piece with its customers,One network here in Ireland Meteor Mobile do offer the Headset as a bundle or you can buy it outright,this is a step in the right direction and something others should really look into..

It’s finally happening!

For all of those who have been waiting for the new Samsung Galaxy device, the wait is over.

With a single video with no sound Samsung give us a sample about the next “Unpacked” event that’s gonna be held during MWC 2016 in Barcelona, to be more precise February the 21st

Something we can imagine thanks to the video is that Samsung is going to have the event with VR compatibility as the person in the video is using the Gear VR-

As you can see is pretty straight forward, with zero to none about anything, but the device itself had have lots of leaks by now and for all of them we can tell almost no differences between the current model and new upcoming one.

Maybe and if we’re lucky an SD card slot, but apparently removable batteries are dying as manufactures already realized how profitable is selling power banks (Samsung has plenty offers in that department).
