Today our UAG case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge arrived in Magma red and this colour is quite nice indeed. The case just takes a second to install and you are better off straight away than being caseless. Some folk prefer the naked feel to their device and the 7 edge does feel nice in the hand to hold but protection is something you should always consider due to the high cost of these phones and again if you damage your screen you are talking a big bill here. Check out the image gallery and video review below, this case is a nice one to have and any questions fire away..

Today we will show you an image gallery and unboxing video of the iT7 x2 which offer a premium package but not a premium cost,The packaging alone is also excellent and presentation which is a key factor here which leaves others to think about,The quality and sound of the Headphones too are something that you need to try out for yourself to believe the quality,Im pretty tough on how headphones sound, be it good or bad but these are excellent for the price you will pay and I have nothing bad to say yet,we will test them out over the coming weeks and see how the fair out after some usage..

UNBOXING AND WALK-THROUGH VIDEO
These headphones now come in a variety of colours which is a bonus rather than the one or two colours often offers by manufacturers and for the girls they also come in Pink. The price is now just €89.99 you can check to range out over at this link or Vodafone.ie
With more and more cars now coming with sat-nav built in as standard can we see these kind of accessories die off soon? Nope not for a while yet,With most of us now sporting smartphones we have sat-nav built in and an array of choices of apps to use such as HERE,Google and TomTom mapping apps and we are more custom to those today than what may come pre-installed in a vehicle or again standalone sat-nav units. I tend to ignore the standalone because the ones we can freely download and use are more than enough to get what we want be it directions or just searching for a business or address..
Accessories are a plenty too, some good and some not so good and again there is some awkward or cumbersome offerings out there to hold our device in our vehicles,The one we have tested out is from our friends at Mobile Fun and its from Olixar and its a one piece unit and simple, nothing complicated at all here to use or install..

Priced now at €16.49 this is a good solid unit and comes with a two year warranty which is good for piece of mind too. Having tested this out it has been solid and works well especially if two people are in the car it can swivel simply should you need to do something on the device, with seconds to install and excellent suction it is very secure and even after going over some ramps and pot-holes ( We have lots of them in Ireland) it failed to budge. Overall I found it solid, stable and it failed to loose the devices tested on it no matter which way I had it stored be it Horizontally of Vertically.. Installing and removing the device is what impressed me too, there was nothing to it,Its simple, affordable and effective.

In the first of our Samsung case reviews we have the Nillkin Sparkle leather case for the Samsung Galaxy S7 which was supplied to us from Mobile Fun.
The Nillkin case has a nice feel to it offering protection all round for the Galaxy S7 BUT not giving us any extra in bulk to the device, being a 5.1 inch device it will be large for some people. The case is also very light too which is great. The case offers easy access to all important ports on the device with none covered and also the speaker is also uncovered which will not have any sound muffled as some case do cover the speaker port even be in little.

The case also offers good protection around the camera and flash areas due to the minor hump in this area the device would be prone to scratches if left uncovered and place on any surface, this case eliminates this as you will see in the video and images. Also something to point out is the flap which covers the screen which has a nice velvet touch to it will also keep the screen in good shape not hindering the experience or scuffing the screen. With the smart display window the case is compatible with the sleep/wake function allowing the user to see content whilst the device is closed, also you can download an app which will be present with the card in the packaging and you simply scan the QR code and enter the code given on the card, this allows some more functionality of the smart window.User can decide regardless what content matters to them to have it there at a glance without having to open the case, the device will wake up once the cover is opened too..

Next in our Jabra range up for testing is the Jabra Sport pace wireless headset,These are the ideal headsets to have for jogging or training and much more secure than the typical in-ear offering we are more custom too although there is plenty now coming on stream and have done so over the last few months. These also lightweight and rather comfortable to wear and do not get tangled as standard earphones would, nor do you need to worry about your headphone jack leave your device due to the wireless experience as opposed to plugging earphones into a mobile or iPod..
First check out the image gallery of the product below then head to the unboxing after.

My thoughts.
These to begin with these are not my typical choice of listening tool but over two weeks of use I came to like them and thats down to their weight and design, after a few minutes you forget they are there in fact,As far as sound goes they do the job better than some I have tried out in stores where the option to try earphones are available such as PC World for example. They are robust too which is good and can take a knock,if you drop them there is nothing to worry about,Im the kind of person that likes overheads and them being bulky and depending on the make dropping them can inflict damage with these you wont.
Pairing up to other devices is a simple task and you get a nice audible alert as you do with most of Jabra products (from what I have tried) This is something I like even though it may seem nothing to some, the Jabra sport life app however took some time to pair up with my phone for some reason but when I got it going it worked fine, you can select your activity on the app be it running.cycling or walking and then select time goals calorie burn goals or create interval training. Selecting music to listen to is plentiful you can choose from anything installed on your device and off you go it is good to see that third party app integration is present here. The sports button which is built in is also neat which begins when you activate it and it gives you a countdown to begin, the app tracks everything from GPS co-ordinates and distance and seemed to be accurate enough on my usage,Voice coaching is excellent too, The Multifunction button is handy to use although for me the buttons where too small and I found them a problem to begin with but I got shovel hands so this is not something to take in too much.
Battery life was fine but you would not get a full day, this would vary by person to be fair and it does have quick charge so that can be forgiven, professional athletes for example would need to charge daily whereas the average gym goers or joggers would be fine for a few hours. The only gripes I had was volume level,Personally I like it loud, very loud but they done the job only indoors I did see the real effect of how good the sound was, using outdoors was different and the experience was doused due to street noise etc. The distance on the cable between each side could have been a tad longer but then again I have a 19.5 inch neck so on this its down to the person more so than the product.
For the price they are good, solid, fit like a charm and look good, easy to use,set up and maintain..For this style of buds I am not custom to they impressed me which is a good thing coming from me and I wear them quite a bit now due to the fact you forge they are there after a few minutes.
Jabra have sent us over some prodcuts to check out and first up is the Jabra Soulemate Mini portable speaker which even a first looks impresses me. The packaging alone looks great and is presented well. The Soulemate Mini is smaller of the family and it still packs a punch form initial testing.more on that in full review.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has dropped in and we shall take a look, this is the full package though with a portable keyboard,Arc mouse and Continuum which is the latest interest thus far for Windows Phone fans Hopefully this unit provides some good news as we expect it to be quashed of recent issues. The extras here would not be for everyone considered they do carry laptops with them but I can see its point perhaps not a must for me but I can see the benefits but clutter comes to mind in my workspace should I sport my own laptop on my travels,That said if travelling especially if you are going into the unknown and you have limited access a monitor or PC it would be ideal but the extra luggage factor would be an issue for some I would feel, overall though it works well and is a nice idea and will be welcome for plenty of WinPhans..
The device itself is rather light to hold considered its size but the build quality would play a role here in this, compared to Lumia of past from Nokia I really feel the design and build quality has dropped but that is just my opinion on this matter and its how I feel.Having said that the device is on the big side but feels nice to hold in the hand and easy to use with the one hand in my case. Setting up the device was fine apart from Hello Windows which fails to see my eyes after several attempts but will work on that perhaps in different lighting conditions. The 950 XL does look better than its sister device the 950 from the rear it must be said, perhaps colour has a role to play here which is another thing missing from Lumia of past, those bright colours made a statement but here with just Black and White we are back to the old days again which people once hated.Perhaps being a long time Lumia user and collector I did get sick of the boring Black models I was so used to seeing and when the nice bright colours became available this suited me more so and the devices did get some attention. The only attention and thing that stands out on the 9xx range is the back side of it,from the front it is a bit boring…..
UNBOXING VIDEO
The removable back cover and Micro SD expansion is a welcome move,Some prefer this option and some dont,With cloud being pushed across the board and which some users are not sold on for security reasons for example the option is there and will be used alongside cloud storage which myself have not adapted to over storing things on cards. For now the device seems to be working fine with apps opening quicker than expected having seen some reviews but this is down to many factors such as connectivity and of course a fully working device,it does happen that you can get a faulty device and things might not seem all that well,so we will load it up with some more apps and games and see how it performs from there. As for the camera its good as expected and what Windows Phone user have come to expect with all the trimmings and settings inside, but remember the phone is not all about the camera it is about how the device works as a whole, over the years Lumia devices have been to focussed on the camera and what it can do,it does not work like that any more and with an OS that lack apps ( Especially local ones) all these things add up and moving forward with universal apps changes need to happen and happen fast if Windows Phone wants to regain its market share and until then it still might be too late with Microsoft building apps for other platforms which does not bode well with users..

I still use Windows Phone as a daily driver along with Android and more ( Yeah it is a pain in the ass carrying 2/3 phones daily) and still find it the best looking OS from a home-screen perspective with the Live tiles that give info on the fly and it just makes your device look ALIVE. Looks are not everything though it is how it performs as a whole and how well the OS is maintained..
So what do I think so far?
Pros
Light for its size
Seems fast lets see when loaded up with some more games and apps
SD Card and Removable Battery
Camera is great
Cons
Still way too expensive.(contract free its still €699)
USB Type – C Fest. Though this is now a process which will take 18 months perhaps to become custom too.
Colour choices available aside third party offerings for back covers
This case comes in two pieces and you could actually live without the band which in this particular case would probably be the best option from my experience,we will go into that later. The case however is nice all round, comfortable and offers good protection all round even if the outer band is a little weak..
The outer TPU skin is thicker than most on offer and there is no harm in that though the band that sits atop is quite weak on the sides, the key parts though where excellent with good tactility and travel which made the keys easier to use..
Top and Bottom. – The case does leave easy access to ports but to an extent especially on the bottom for Micro USB charging,Here is where I had issues due to the huge gap which you will see below, perhaps it may have been a faulty case here but you can see the distance between the outside and the base of the phone,it is rather big and yes the case is fitted correctly. Also on the top of the case the mic is covered by the outer ring which you can see pictured below too.. (click to enlarge)
Dual Layer
Bottom
Top
Left and Right Sides – The left and right sides just house the keys on the Note 5 on the case there is branding on the bottom right hand side, they keys themselves worked a treat and made them easy to use and I found no issues with functionality or travel and overall a nice experience to use..
Right
Left
Front and Back – On this case there is a lip around the front which is ideal if you are one to place your device face down and dont sport a screen protector, the lip comes around onto the front giving it a good deal of protection and feels quite solid, the outer band here really enforces the entire case into one solid piece, the back also protects the camera and flash area leaving it below flush level protecting it from harm on flat surfaces so you can be sure that then lens or flash for example will be be prone to scratches provided the flat surface you rest it on is dirt free..
