First look and Unboxing – The Nokia Activity & Sleep Watch #Nokia #NokiaSteel

I own some 200 Nokia handsets and continue to collect them,All that alongside accessories and clothing and so on but one thing I have been wanting for so many years is a watch with the Nokia name on it.. That 17 year wait has come to an end today and I am happy to finally own the one thing I have longed for and a huge thanks to the guys involved at Nokia who made this happen..

Package contents.

Instructions – Watch – Reset key.

Now we all know that this is formerly Withings and Nokia have bought that company but things have changed I always did like the Withings watch but never bought one but when I heard the news Nokia would be soon there I said I would wait, the wait is over, Check out the retail packaging and the unboxing and if you have any questions fire away until we finish reviewing it…

I have been asked this question several times via social media about the actual Nokia logo… Shoud they have used their own as seen on the box,ie the typeface we are all use to or is the current one ok. Tell us what you think and will you be picking one up..

You can of course just pick it up directly HERE

Features..

Activity tracking: steps, distance, swim (water resistant to 5 ATM), running and calories burned.

– Sleep monitoring: sleep cycle analysis (light and deep sleep) and silent alarm.

– Automatic synchronization: Follow your data on your smartphone.

– Stainless steel case with silicone strap.

– No charging: battery lasts up to 8 months.

First thoughts are it is small for my wrist but thats just me,its light, thin the strap feels good and robust, again for me on the thin side compared to my usual watch wear and it looks very modern and sleek.Set up is simple which requires and app (Nokia Health) There is no buttons which is a big change though if you are not use to smartwatches they are touch, With this you do not touch the watch at all and nor do you have to charge it which for me is a bonus, It works on a battery similar to whats found in your car alarm fob.. So far so good so lets put it to the test…

Fake Nokia 3310 Dual Sim goes on sale in Click.ie €99.99 #Nokia #Nokia3310 #Ireland

Update. 15/6/17, These are fake copy models and you should avoid at all costs and people have unintentionally bought them in anticipation.  They’ve also been taken down from site after I spoke to them on the phone. There is lots of fakes going around so be careful. If in doubt get in touch with us.
What to watch out for.

The packaging. It’s not a couple of the phones pictured and plain back. Real one hash splash artwork colour with one phone seen above.

Speaker on inside cover should be rectangular not square.

Orange/Yellow colour around the lens, it should be inside to be real.

Motherboard (Green in colour) is visible, not covered.

Back lit keys are white not blue.

Some housing variants are different pay attention to the keys and front fascia on top and finally the USB port placement.. It’s on the top, not the bottom.

Just a quick note if you are waiting on the all new Nokia 3310. It’s now available in the dual sim format costing €99.99 but I would be careful. It would be expected to be a bit more expensive considered its dual Sim but for this price I feel many will hold off until retailers stock it or wait for Argos to get stock in which is due the 20th June as they told us recently for €69.99 and also Dual Sim

The real Nokia 3310

Dual sim European version, The new Nokia 3310 takes the iconic silhouette of the original and reimagines it for 2017. The custom designed user interface brings a fresh look to a classic, whilst the 2.4” polarized and curved screen window makes for better readability in sunlight

Nokia Lumia 625 Unboxing Special for Nokia Connects #FightBoredom #Nokia cc @Nokia_Connects

We have been given a chance to participate in nokia connects fightboredom unboxing challenge last week and boy it was fun.

So the challenge was to do something different than the norm and i was thinking what could i do. My little girl Alice who is 5 next tuesday has been watching me with all my nokia products and seen me carry in a new package. So I began to think she would be up for doing my job unboxing, well to no surprise she said yes daddy i want to do it. Now she is no stranger to phones as she is surrounded by them here but never been on camera for a video so she was fine and so eager.

She even has a nickname around here, she has the Lumia 520 now and brings the 520 everywhere she loves it.She is called the LumiaChild around here. So here is my beautiful daughter unboxing the lumia 625 its funny…but cute.

She has already ditched the 520 for the 625 so she like her daddy likes to move on. Once again thanks to nokia connects for this fun experiment and i hope to see more..
