Flipboard started out a couple of years ago and i remember being part of the Beta back then and its been easily one of my favourite news aggregators since then,its got a nice UI its smooth,easy to use and manage and it just works,recently flipboard has also launched on windows phone too with some new changes but it still provides me with my daily content and on Windows Phone Magnify would be also my top feed,they are similar.I would also use Taptu on Android alongside Flipboard on my droids.

Shell are to now allow users in the UK to pay for their petrol or diesel from their car,It saves you time by allowing you to pay for fuel by credit or debit card without having to queue in the shop. Also, the terminals are chip and pin enabled, providing you with added reassurance when paying for your fuel.
Now this is kind of funny,at every garage we always see signs sporting ” do not use your phone” and so on..
Shell currently have an app on Android and iOS called “Shell Motorist” which lets you check your Fuels Reward Network ® points balance, your transactions and rewards progress.

The Telegraph UK reports the following..
After a successful pilot in 2013, the service will be available to Shell Drivers Club members from April and then nationwide later in 2015 through both the PayPal app and the Shell Motorist app.
Michael Hominick, Retail Marketing Manager at Shell UK, claimed “Customers will now have the flexibility and convenience of paying without having to leave their car. Those who want to go in store and pay or purchase other items will still be able to, with the benefit of reduced queues.”
Rob Harper, Director of Mobile Commerce at PayPal UK added that “We’ve always believed people will use their mobile phones to pay if there’s a clear benefit.”
The PayPal app is already accepted in more than 8,000 UK shops and restaurants, and is used through some 19 million active British accounts. Would you like to see this implemented here in Ireland not only with shell ? Tell us below.
We are quite fond of our phones and always looking at how we can change them and add content to your device,there is plenty of widgets and apps to do so and there will be always new ones on the scene so its nice to be able to choose.Im more of a widget fan but i do like to have other options at hand such as Z Launcher for example.
Microsoft Garage have now created an app for Android,MS seem to be catering much so for other OSs but the the favour is not really being returned either but thats another days argument.

There is never enough to keep our kids happy these days and there is never enough games or apps,they always want more,Its always nice to see interactive apps but there is not enough,there never is i guess,but we have had this sent into us and it a game for kids and family alike..
Words Gallery is a simple game that everyone can play and its basically a learning app for kids and its simple to use.There is multiple categories to pick from and they are all listed nicely,your child (or the parent) can select an area which they would like to do.Your round will consist of ten questions and then you can select more again when finished..
Then the game begins,when your topic is selected the game will call out a word and you will be given 4 answers to pick from via images on the screen,text is also displayed at the end of the screen, its quite basic and easy plus there is some difficult ones there too,depending on the childs age it will suit many ages.

Vine has been a quite popular application which is owned by twitter and began in 2012 with an estimated audience of 40 Million,Vine lets users be creative by users posting 6 second video clips which you can pause and start within that 6 seconds,its quite good and there is some real good Vine accounts that shows how creative people can be,i use it myself but not too often however i think its a good app.
Through adorable animated characters, kids can watch videos that are appropriate for a young audience. Swiping right or left shows a new Vine, and you can tap the screen to hear quirky sounds.
The idea came about during an office conversation in early January. One of my colleagues was talking about how much his two-year-old daughter loves Vine –– he said he wished there was a separate app she could use to more easily watch posts that are appropriate for kids. That week happened to be Hack Week, a time when we get to work on projects outside of our day-to-day work. So two folks teamed up and built exactly that. Well not exactly the camera, but the stock camera app of the Iphone Camu is now available for download on the Google Play Store.
I’m not an Iphone fan (maybe the opposite) But I have to admit that the Camera app is pretty quick, simple and sleek.
Also brings a variety of effect and edition options in real time, but is pretty good for just point and shoot.
The app itself claims it will turn your photos in something great! And it’ll probably be very useful for occasional photographers that are not familiar with pro photography
You’ll have live filters and even that Depth of field effect that only DSLR and some phone can give you.
