Snapchat now has a new rival called Kaboom,the difference here though is the user does not need to have the app installed like snapchat currently does to send private photos etc..but you do need it for conversations.The app is only on Android and iOS and not on Windows Phone which is nothing new,even today there is no app Snapchat for Windows Phone users as they seem to dislike the OS and start proceedings to take down anything similar,example being 6snap..

The app was created by Jean Nehme and Andre Chow, two surgeons who were looking for a solution to supplement their training at the time that working hours caps were put on surgeons in the UK. The reason they emphasise aesthetics in their content is in order to provide the most medically accurate simulations and most effectively disseminate best practices. They employ animators and visual artists who have worked on projects such as The Dark Knight, Gravity, Skyfall, Harry Potter, Avatar, Finding Nemo, and many other films.

Cortana had a beta leaked some months ago and it was possible to test it from there,but now its available to download from the play store direct,it is still a public beta though  for now its for US ONLY but there is ways around that..It will however be more widely available soon and on iOS..

Project Tango getting close to reality by @Tiwaash #ProjectTango #Google #Intel

Earlier this year we heard some news about Google and Project Tango with some great features. Intel and Google have come together and developed a Project Tango smartphone that uses Intel’s Real Sense 3D camera technology. The company unveiled the Project Tango developer kit for Android smartphones utilizing RealSense at the Intel Developer Forum 2015.

Google’s Project Tango that graduated from ATAP in February this year and became an official Google Project, combines the camera, gyroscope, and accelerometer to estimate six degree of freedom motion tracking, providing developers the ability to track 3D motion of a device while simultaneously creating a map of the environment.

Earlier in May, Google said that Qualcomm Snapragon 810-powered Project Tango smartphone will come in Q3 2015. However, Intel did not mention any specific date for the smartphone at the event. The company said that developer kits will begin shipping to Android developers at the end of this year.

The smartphone features a 6-inch display and has a number of cameras at the back, which makes it possible to scan the room in 3D in real time. Intel first announced its RealSense sensor for mobile phones in April this year. The smartphone will be useful for virtual reality, augmented reality and digital mapping as well.

#Android “M” is Android Marshmallow by @Tiwaash #Android6

There were speculations all around when Google introduced the newest version of Android at its annual developer summit a few days back, the preview was known as ‘Android M’ and the company did not reveal what M stands for. Everyone were trying to coin, what the “M” stood for and whether it is going to be an overhaul to Android 5.0 or a major update!

Google has announced that the latest iteration of Android will be called as ‘Marshmallow’.

Google has released the finished version of Android 6.0 SDK and the software preview can be loaded on compatible Nexus smartphones. According to the company, the preview images are near final, but they are not intended for consumer use just yet.

If you flash the software preview on your devices right away then you have to manually re-flash your devices to a factory image to continue to receive consumer OTA updates for your Nexus device when Android 6.0 Marshmallow launches to the public later this fall.

Android Marshmallow comes with a slew of new features, but here are some of the notable ones –

  • Users now have more control over what information applications can use.
  • Integration of Android Pay mobile wallet platform.
  • Native support for USB Type-C and fingerprint sensors.
