We have gone through some amount of cases now for the Samsung S7 range and here is one more to look at from x-doria called the defense 360 case which comes in two pieces which does look nice on your expensive 7 Edge….
The back of the case has a frosted look to it whist giving it protection it just about covers you from all angles. The back of the case sites level with the camera hump which will give you some form of protection but the fact the hump is level with the case it is still prone to getting scratched depending on the surface,this is something to keep in mind.
All corners and edges are covered on the device which is nice giving way to easy access to the ports and keys,with the transparent front on the case you can see the natural colour of the device but this is a bit of a fingerprint magnet just like the phone itself….

Having tested the case for a few hours I did find at times having to tap icons more than once to work, I did find the top layer on the thick side which I would blame, Even standalone screen protectors for this device in particular can be are hard to come by,good ones that is due to the both sides of the device being curved.. That given you are protected but how much on a drop and hard impact is anyone’s guess, The front is a fingerprint magnet and the back is not,the back has a nice look and feel to it but overall it looks nice and offers a seamless fit surrounding the entire device and feels fine in the hand albeit a tad on the slippy side something the phone is already noted for..
To be fair the case is really to protect your device from getting scratched and yes this is what it will do but as far as for a drop I would not be sure what way the unfortunate mishap would turn out…
Want to have an event outdoors and wonder how many people would fit in the selected area??Yes we can guess or use suggested or use areas that are known or points of interest this new app aims to make event organisers visually get an idea of what an area can hold simply by drawing a perimeter on your device,sounds handy?? Not only is it used for just this purpose it can be used for property,construction and parks and so on. What is good here is this app can be used anywhere in the world, Sadly for now its just on iOS…
CrowdSize uses Apple Maps to produce an aerial view of any location in the world and operates in portrait mode. First type in the location of your event, or use the voice recognition feature on your keypad, and zoom into it’s exact location. Next tap the perimeter outline of the area you want to study, then use the slider to select a light, medium or dense factor for the number of people you see. Press Done and that’s it. The approximate number of people within your perimeter is presented. You can clear the calculation and the perimeter you just drew by shaking the device if you want to produce a new calculation.

A few weeks ago we brought you the news of one of the better roller-coaster VR apps called Coastiality that hit google cardboard, The good news now is that is available on the Oculus store and its completely FREE.
Coastiality by Europa Park has quite a bit to offer to the fore and for roller coaster fans you are in for a treat,There is a lack of good roller coaster apps that give a real immersive feeling but not here with several on board the app,the intro on the app is also excellent with great music to boot.
The app is also well presented with apps on display right from the start,Also you can pick to either download or stream the experience and then you can pick between 2K and 4K resolution.. I have tried out the apps and they are quite good..This also applies on the Oculus version,just use the 4K and grab a pair of headphones…

The much awaited Gear VR 2016 has landed with us and its a nice piece of equipment,with some changes from last years offering they are all welcome,With the new Black look to boot it even looks much better than last years model and its good to see a change from the once traditional white colours we tend to see VR headsets in..
This unit will cost roughly the same as last years model which is a bonus and if you have ordered the Note 7 you may have got the option to get one free and that offer could be still available at launch in stores for now this remains the best VR headset at its price having had the last two versions myself i feel it is a welcome upgrade,the only thing though is the lack of content on the oculus store vs what we can get on cardboard and this needs to change quickly,there is however apps you can use to use play store apps on the headset which I personally have not tried, I have a large amount of headsets for that content so no real need for me but there is some really nice apps there on the play store to check out..

The One Plus 3 is arguably the best phone for its money today but with the new launches of other devices since it takes the once noted best pound for pound mobile out there. All that said its served us well to date and of course we need some protection for it,this time round we have a new leather case from Noreve.
Overall the case looks and feels good given it completely covers the entire device when closed and not being able to see the device is an issue for some, Note that you can of course open the flap and leave it sat on a table,the clasp that holds the device shut actually comes in handy here raising the device up slightly, One setback though if folded back the camera is not available but is so when just opened as normal and again some might see this as a bit too much due the size of the phone,with the case opened this might cumbersome but not much of a caveat.
Overall the case serves its purpose well.. All corners are hardened on the case and all keys are easily accessible along with all the ports with no complaints to be had there this also includes the speaker which is not affected at all.. As far as design goes its simple,with the Noreve logo atop and then a small grille, inside is embossed with their logo as per norm. The clap up top is solid and secure meaning should you drop your device it wont fly open like some cases can so as far a protecting your device goes you are covered.. The case does a a small bit of thickness which is obvious from the front flap but not a major concern considered the phone itself is big,the leather has a nice texture to it and its not slippy and also not super grippy but balanced well,it really feels good in the hand and secure…As for the camera area you are also fine with good clearance especially when lay back down,there is nothing to worry about here.All in all the case is professional looking,feels good to hold and serves its purpose…

The fastener is easily clipped onto the top of the device. The rear case protects all the corners and limits the shocks in case of fall. All buttons and ports of the One Plus “Three” are accessible. The Tradition model is the must-have of the brand. Its refined and stylish design will delight the most demanding users.
If you have not yet took the plunge on the overpriced no sales figures APPLE Watch Sport or any model for that matter this deal might persuade you. For me its still a no go and dont justify its price but I must admit it does look nice..
Openly I have admitted I am not the worlds biggest Apple fan but they make nice products albeit overpriced and I do own some products myself which mostly lay boxed in storage.This is not a bad deal given the product is refurbished,something Samsung are said to do later this year with their mobile phones giving their consumer choice.

Most of us rely on the weather forecasts we hear on the radio or see on the TV after the news bulletins and most of the time they are right but sometimes they are wrong, long range forecasts for example realistically speaking can be 10 days long anything else is waffle as far as im concerned, As a weather fan I use apps that give live data or trustworthy apps We are all used to seeing clickbait weather reports saying “HORROR ATLANTIC STORM” for example which was recent on our own news and then the ones we see that state “The coldest winter in decades/The hottest Summer on record) There is one person most weather buffs will know who comes out with that and the red tops that post it, Just ignore those headlines.
For the most of us we like short range forecasts,there is plenty of apps that are available for that we have featured quite a few over the last year or so and one app just recent. Today we are here to talk about a new app called Aerium which is available on Android and iOS..
The app has a simple clean user UI and within the app you can push notifications a day before its set to rain,Of course this is location based and will require you to have your location on.. Having used the app for a few day’s its just a simple elegant app thats easy to use and set up and easy on your battery to boot..

There’s 3 of us behind the app, a designer (me), my brother (iOS developer) and a good friend of mine (Android). We made Aerium as a beautifully working alternative to those heavy weather apps. The download number of the app is somewhere around 90k on iOS only. The feedback from them was fantastic.
