We have noticed just how much QR codes have suddenly became popular again and highly visible even here in Ireland.

A new study by TechRobot has revealed the top apps and chain restaurants in the UK and US that are eating up our data each time we order:
The study reveals that:
- Cafe Nero is the drinking up the most customer data of the chain restaurants analysed in the UK
- There are five coffee chains that feature in the top 15 apps for data consumption in the UK
- McDonald’s and Dominoes are in the top 5 apps in the UK saving consumers data – including your browsing history and personal ID
- In the US, Caviar and Grubhub are the dining out apps that know the most about you
- Dunkin’ and Chick-Fil-A both place in the top 10 most data invasive apps in the US
