We heard during the week that Vine is to shut down.. Given Ireland had a limited amount of users it still shocked many people I use the service myself but with many apps offering a native video capture be it limited 6 seconds perhaps was not enough and apps like Instagram for example and even Twitter allow you to shoot longer than that but the 6 second rule did make you think about what you needed to post and be creative at the same time,However I always felt 6 seconds was not enough and in fact limited to what you could post in such a short timeframe .So where do people go now after Vine? Of course we have Snapchat and Instagram and Facebook which is now more or less become like Snapchat with its new camera app update…This new app allows you 20 seconds which might suit ex-vine users. Check it out…

The beloved hat….Not a massive fan of them nor are they a priority in my life but I do wear them from time to time be it a peak had or a beanie, what we are going to talk about today simply called the HAT by Mobi Mountain. With technology changing over the last few years we have seen wearables flock the market some with high prices and some with not so high prices and affordability is a key factor to getting a product out. For some they like to wait for a second iteration and most into technology like me jump in the guinea pig trial and just go all in,been doing it for years so why change now…
Anyway…Things have changed now as technology is integrated into many current day items the smartwatch being one and bands that have now turned into fitness bands and all looks well and good until we see a price.. As said with much of todays new products or first generation the price is expensive and yet some cheap..Though we are talking about a simple hat here with some limited amount of technology what I like is its simplicity and its price.. Its got Bluetooth which is all we need to connect all packed inside a little box on one side of the hat.. The other side well… We have a little speaker you will hardly notice and we also have LEDs….for those that dont know its simply lights…. So a hat with Bluetooth and a speaker how does it fair out…
IT COMES IN 4 COLOURS…
The hat itself is just like any other when it comes to its general purpose, It is warm comfy and with the components inside you still cant feel them to be fair, its not cumbersome either and with a speaker either side you can listen to your chosen material with ease.. The controls are easy to use.. With three buttons on the unit, there is the power on and off button, you can play, pause and skip tracks, change the volume up or down with a longpress and answer calls on the go its really easy and again easy to pair with the selected device you might have,There is a Micro USB to USB cable packed inside the box with some instructions on how to set up and use which are easy to follow.
Sound quality is quite good and I was impressed but they where not loud to me, However that is my prefrence and I like my music very loud which is probably not a good idea but for anyone else its loud aplenty…
The tech inside…
Bluetooth V3.0 EDR
Set in Mic
2.402GHz-2.480GHz frequency
10 Meter transition distance
L-ion battery 3.7volt 100 mA
2 HR Charge time
60 HR standby time
3.5 hrs continuous run time
VIDEO REVIEW AND WALK-THROUGH
We would like to thank Harrys Electrical – Euronics for sending this to us for testing out, check out their store for more or follow them on Facebook. This hat will set you back around €25.
Earlier this week we told you about what Microsoft brough to the table on the last event, and today we realized that the also want to give you a special discount in any of their Surface line up (but the new Studio PC) if you exchange your Macbook.
Yes! As you can see from the capture above, the Microsoft Store is offering up to $650 for your old laptop.
Obviously the offering may vary depending on the state of your product, the closer you get to pristine condition (with box and original kits), the higher the discount.
The promo code will be valid until December 15, 2016 and the offers started yesterday October 27, 2016 at 12:00PM PST and will go all the way to November 7, 2016, 11:59PM PST.
This is a great offering considering that outdated processor in some old MacBooks, but the decision is yours.

Samsung lovers out there ended up with a broken hear after the Note7 fiasco. Some of them swiched to another company, others who remained with the brand and went for a Galazy S7 or S7 EDGE instead.
Well, now that everything has settled down and we all know the Note 7 is not coming back, the company decided this is a time to give a bonus to those loyal costumers letting them have that elusive and attractive Blue Coral color scheme on their phones.
There’s nothing really special about this S7 series besides the color, the same hardware we all know and love.
Great camera, performance, battery… Etc, but what brough you here wasn’t that. It was the chance of having something different than the rest.
Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen soon, The device is going to be launch in Taiwan by November 1st and in Singapore by the 5th.
There’s no news about availability regarding other countries but we can expect that to happen, especially thanks to the great demand that color had with the Note7.
In case you can’t wait for them to realased over our shores and you don’t mind importing, the price will be NT$24,900 ($790) which is, (to be honest) a bit higher considering the only change is a paint job.
But you tell us, Will you go for this phone just because a new color option? Do you still think the S7 EDGE is the phone to beat this year?

Ok…. So we have really good VR apps out there today and then we have not so good ones and then comes along this one.. Called Pee World the VR app lets you take a pee in some places without actually needing to go.. Available on Android right now you just pop in your device into your Google Cardboard Player and look down to pee on things..If you look up you get brought to somewhere else and you simply repeat the process and keep virtually pissing on things to put it bluntly…You can even piss on Donald Trump.
Go Virtually Anywhere with Pee World VR!
The world’s first urination simulation — see into virtual reality reality while also peeing into a toilet. Urinate into amazing places while staying in the safety of your own bathroom.
Go in amazing places like the grand canyon, a political rally, the beach, and outer space.
Look down to pee.
Look up to be teleported to a new exotic location.
What do you think of this app folks do let us know and dont be shy with the comments either…
During an event yesterday, Microsoft unveiled their two new offerings in the computer department.
Aiming not only to consumers that need portability but also the ones that need a powerhouse at home, we now see the company focusing once again in hardware…Well except mobile phones anyway..
Surface Book I7
There’s no big news on the portable side as what we have is a revindication of what I should have been the first offering.
The Surface Book is a great device, but for the more demanding professionals is was aimed, Not having the greatest battery life and some compatibility issues was a let down. But those flaws were attacked and now we have a new offer with the latest I7 processor (hence the name).
Also, they improved the graphics performance and increased the battery by 30%, everything else remains the same as previous models.
They even made a video just to say that, take a look:
The new model will be available starting in November and will start at $2,399 with pre-orders already open.
Surface Studio
This was the main attraction during the event, dubbed as “Surface Studio” this All-in-one PC is aimed to professional photographers, designers as well as Illustrators.
With a huge 28″ LCD PixelSense Display and a resolution of 4,500 x 3,000 (3:2 aspect), the Studio is Microsoft take on Apple’s iMac series.
Only one big difference though, the panel is completely tactile, which offer a whole new world of possibilities.
The spec sheet is quite impressive:

The Surface Studio will be available in December with some pre-orders being available for the holiday season, the next batch will have to wait till next year.
The price tag of the base model will be $2,999.00 going all the way up to $4,199.00 for the high-end model.
Capable of Pen input as you’d expect from a Surface product, that’s not the only trick under the sleeve.
Pair with the “Zero Gravity Hinge” that allows it to go from monitor to drawing desk, the addition we are really impressed is the Surface Dial.
As You can see from the video above, the Dial is not just an extra tool to have around, Its what will complement the experience when your primary work is on the designing or editing process.
With haptic feedback to let you know you’re changing option without seeing using the radial input, add free location on the screen and you ready to work whenever you want.
As extra, the little gadget with not only be compatible with the new Studio Pc, but also with the Surface Book and the Surface Pro 4.
The can get a standalone Dial once available for $99 with just one color option (looks fine to me), but if you pre-order the Surface Studio before next month you’ll one for free.
But tell us, Do you think Microsoft is offering a solid option against the iMac or the MacBook that are currently on the market? Will be good enough to compete with today’s announcements from Apple?
