After noticing the powerful stories people were sharing, Uber’s research team invited deaf and hard-of-hearing partners to participate in feedback sessions to learn what we could build that would improve their experience. So much of what they shared was very encouraging—driving with Uber is already making a big difference for many partners. Uber is now present in over 40 countries around the world.
Of late there has been a bug going around where an sms in Arabic has been causing peoples iphones to shut down and Apple have made some suggestions to fix the issue for the time being.
An Apple spokesman said: Apple is aware of an iMessage issue caused by a specific series of unicode characters and we will make a fix available in a software update. Until the update is available, you can use these steps to re-open the Messages app.
Apple have suggested the following..
Ask Siri to “read unread messages”
Use Siri to reply to the malicious message. After you reply, you’ll be able to open Messages again
In Messages, swipe left to delete the entire thread. Or tap and hold the malicious message, tap More, and delete the message from the thread.

A home for all your photos and videos
Google Photos gives you a single, private place to keep a lifetime of memories, and access them from any device. They’re automatically backed up and synced, so you can have peace of mind that your photos are safe, available across all your devices.
With Google Photos, you can now backup and store unlimited, high-quality photos and videos, for free. Google will maintain the original resolution up to 16MP for photos, and 1080p high-definition for videos, and store compressed versions of the photos and videos in beautiful, print-quality resolution.
Easily share and save what matters
With Google Photos, you have the choice to share your photos and videos however you want across any service you choose, from Hangouts to Twitter to WhatsApp. But even then, it’s still remarkably difficult to share a lot of photos just with friends and family and keep the ones shared with you—it usually involves a lot of downloading and re-uploading across a number of different services. We wanted to make sharing much simpler and more reliable.
You can now take any set of photos and videos, or any album, and simply create a link to share hundreds of photos at once. The recipient can see what you shared without a special app or login, then immediately save the high-quality images to their own library with a single tap. So now it’s easier to hang on to the photos you care about even if you weren’t the one holding the camera.
Last October InBox by Gmail was released via an invite system,we tried it tested it and did not really like it,we also gave away some invites and the reports back where somewhat mixed to say the least.
Now its available with no invite you will be glad to know just announced in a blog post
There is also some new updates too..
Inbox is adding Trip Bundles: All of your emails about a trip will now be bundled together and the most important details (like flight times and hotel reservation numbers) will be available the instant you open Inbox.
More control with Undo Send, Swipe to Delete and Signatures
Being able to control your inbox, like setting your custom Snooze times, is also something you’ve told us matters. So today Inbox is helping you be more productive:
With Undo Send—now for the first time on your phone—you can take back an email right after sending in case you spotted a mistake, or have second thoughts
If you’d rather get rid of messages, you can make ‘Delete’ the default swiping action
If you want to personalize your sent messages, you can now add a custom signature
More ways that Inbox saves you time
You’ve also let us know how much you appreciate a little extra help every now and then—like when Inbox adds phone numbers to Reminders, or finds that flight time in under a second. Today Inbox is adding a few more ways it can be of service:
When you create Reminders in Keep, they’ll now appear in Inbox
When someone emails you a to-do, Inbox might suggest adding a Reminder so you don’t forget
When you get an email from HotelTonight or Eat24, you can now open your reservations and food orders within their app, directly from Inbox
One of the many reason why I’m not a big Apple fan is hardware, specially the lack of the back button, I don’t like all my apps to run in the background.
Well, that particular reason is about to be useless thanks to the guys of Halo Back and their “Smart Screen Protector”.
The guys of Halo Back have been working on this for the last four years and they finally have it.
I have pretty big hands and even I have some troubles to reach the upper left corner of phone; I know that IOS has a “Back gesture” and the “Double tap on the Home Button”, but I always found way more easier just have it right where it should be.
This “Smart Screen Protector” is unique on its territory, besides protect your phone from even explotions (it was really cool read this) it add the only thing that all your Android and WP friends always make fun of you,
THE BACK BUTTON
But let’s take a look to what are they offering us:
How it works? is much easier than you think:
Our fingers conduct electricity, which is used to trigger the actions on “capacitive touchscreens” (the one that all phones have) and the guys of Halo Back, added a circuit layer to traditional glass screen protector.
It helps to lead current when you press lower left corner of the screen, so that’s how the “new back button” works.
Here’s an example of how to install and use one in your phone:
Here are the specs:
Compatibility: iPhone 6 | iPhone 6 Plus
Crystal Clear: High-grade tempered glass provides ultimate clarity. Its nano coating repels natural skin oils making Glass simple to keep clean and looking great.
Height: 130mm | 150mm Width: 59mm | 69mm Depth: 0.21mm Weight: 6g | 8g
As you can see they have thought a lot about it, and you can help they dream (and if you’re like me, yours too) to come true on our beloved Kickstarter for just $17.
And it will be nice taking in consideration the estimated retail price of $49
If everything works as it should it would be awesome! (and I’ll have to stand my Iphone friends for ages…)

Microsoft’s recent announcements illustrate how serious the company is about ensuring your Windows 10 PC will be amazing at working with all your devices. We think no other PC operating system can do all this:
The Phone Companion app on Windows 10 PCs will help you setup a Windows phone, Android Phone, or iPhone to ensure your key Windows experiences—your photos, your music, your docs– move effortlessly wherever you do.
The updated Xbox Music app on Android and iPhone will enable free streaming playback of your music files and playlists from OneDrive, so all your music is available wherever you are.
A companion Cortana app for Android and iPhone connects the world’s only personal digital assistant from your PC to your phone… right there to buzz you for reminders, answer your questions, and be your personal helper not just on your PC but on your phone, too.
“At Microsoft, we want everyone to love not just their Windows 10 PC, but all the devices they own, working with their Windows 10 PC” reads the Windows Blog.
