Samsung have just announced a new app for kids suffering with Autism which is really good news,most of us know someone who has Autism or have Autistic children in the family and with technology changing, technology can now help Autistic children learn and interact more been only beneficial to them in the long run.
For now Look At Me is compatible with the following devices.
Samsung Galaxy S3/S4/S5,Samsung Galaxy Note 2/Note 3 /Note 4,Samsung Galaxy Zoom/Zoom2,And the Samsung Galaxy Tab S,so hopefully this will be made more available to a wider range of devices in the coming months.You will need Android 4.0 and upward.
Over 60 million people worldwide suffer from autism. Many struggle to make eye contact and have poor social skills.
However, research has shown that children with autism like to interact with digital devices. Based on this insight, ‘LOOK AT ME’ was developed to help children with autism make better eye contact and improve their facial recognition abilities through digital devices, such as smartphones and smart cameras.

Scientifically-Endorsed Training Program
This program was developed by Samsung, in collaboration with professors, doctors and UX designers. Seven scientifically-produced missions were created to help children with autism make eye contact, read facial expressions and express their emotions. 20 children trained on the program over eight weeks and *60% of them showed improvement in making eye contact.
*Results are based on parents’ survey.
Rewards
To motivate the children to train on the program every day, we turned this program into a fun and easy-to-use app. Rubies, character cards and points will be awarded to the child based on performance. Music and voice guide are customized to the child’s theme preferences.
Role of Parents
Some missions in this program require parental assistance and participation. Parents should encourage their child’s participation and monitor his/her progress. To motivate their child to perform better, parents should give their child a small reward if he/she completes all of the day’s missions.
Once the app is installed it will then begin downloading files so make sure you have a memory card just in case you do not have enough space on device or current storage..You will then be asked to set up a password and then repeat and then Child mode is activated. From here you will then be given themes to pick from,the enter your name and then gender.
After this is all complete you can then begin.

Last week our dear @Tiwaash, reminded us that there’s lots of app that need updates, But today I’m here to talk you about one of the (in my opinion) best youtube client on the windows phone store.
Tubecast is an app that’s on par with the official youtbube app on Android. While the windows store lacks of some official google apps (like google+) The guy behind this app work really hard to make a proper youtube app for Wp.
I discovered this app thanks to the Windows Central Forums, where I read the post where he was talking about the app, and I decided to give it a shot!
The app has 4 screens where you’ll find Your account and lots of subsections to choose based on what you want to do in there, the “popular” section, categories and the last screen where you will see the videos that you choose to see offline.
In the videos you can chose the quality so if you’re running out of mb you can use low quality to see videos on the go.
You need to slide to the side to see the comments, the info of the video and relates vids .
This app have two things I personally find really helpfull and what I think take the app to other level.
When you’re seeing a videos you can press the back button and search for other video while the video keeps playing as a tiny square in the bottom right corner (you need to press and hold the square to close).
And last but not least the main reason of the app name it will let cast your videos!! As the app it self says:
1 Cast video or audio on your Smart TV (Samsung, Philips, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Sharp, Toshiba etc.)
2 Cast online and downloaded Youtube videos (WP8 only)
3 Chromecast (total control Volume and seek)

It’s been pretty long since I last played the highly addictive Space Squids on Nokia 3310 but thanks to Bolopix we have the legendary game running on WindowsPhone.
It has the same visuals and style but different controls making good use of the full screen available for touch devices. Reminds me of those old days when I used to be busy with the monochrome display and those tic- tic sounding keypad.
To give the game a modern look, now you have option to buy the spaceship from among various types available. You can choose from the difficulty modes available. The controls are on screen with a joystick and attack buttons.
I’m having a good time, you should check this lovely nostalgic game to take yourself back to this days of Nokia gaming. Download this game from here.

Last August Aldi launched a smartphone call the MEDION LIFE in their stores and this Thursday a new device will go on sale which seems to be much nicer looking that the last model,its called the MEDION P 4502.
Its running on Android 4.4. kit kat and priced at €99.99 which what the last device cost in August but it was not a nice looking as this one.
So what do you get for your hard earned €99.99
You get a 4.5 inch QHD touchscreen with IPS,a 1,3 ghz Quadcore processor,a 5 MP Rear camera and 2MP front facing camera and a battery with 1700 mAh which says to give up to 4hrs talk time which does not sound fantastic if you are a chatter on a phone.
Also you get 8GB on board storage with SD expansion allowing up to 32GB and 3 years warranty.
For the money its not a bad phone and a great stocking filler for Christmas.

The Nexus 9 has been on sale some time now for a rather hefty price tag of €399 for the 16GB model which personally i think is too expensive,having spent a few hours with one it just does not cut it at that price although its quite fast and light.
The LTE version has now appeared on the play store as COMING SOON with an even more hefty price tag attached and again its not worth it in my opinion considered the tablets that are available today cheaper and especially with the growing range and popularity of phablets/large phones,such as the Galaxy Note 4 or iPhone 6 plus.This will set you back a modest €569 for the 32GB version.
The 32GB model is only available for now and there is no option to buy the 16GB hopefully we will see the 64GB model for those who are interested but this will again up the already exoctic price for the tablet.
Earlier today Google rolled out the Android 5.0.1 OTA update for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013) & Moto G Google Play Edition while the Nexus 6 & Nexus 9 receive the bug fixes update.
This isn’t a major update and sizing at just 17.5 MBs. No official change log has been revealed yet but we suppose it is just a maintenance update which should fix the lag which was discovered by users after the Android Lollipop update.
