We take a look at the budget Windows tablet #Linx7 by @jimboireland #Tablets #Linx

There is plenty of Android tablets on the market and as disgussed before most sub 100 euro tabs just dont do it,they are just a waste of money and more hassle than they are worth and for me a steer clear buy even though they are cheap and cheerful they will quite honestly irritate you in the end.

Windows tablets are now catching up on with several types available but for the money again they fall into the same issue with Android tablets again you could say its you get what you pay for but there is some both in the Android world and Windows.

The Linx series tablets are newish enough but seem to be getting popular due to the build quality and options available on them such as HDMI,something you do not see on many tablets today..

The Linx tablet line have decent specs all round and a good quality build which give them a good headstart over other tablets in the sub €120 price range.

On the Linx 7 which we will look at today we have the following.

12 month subscription to Office 365,Windows 8.1 OS,1GB RAM,7 INCH IPS TFT LCD DISPLAY,2 MP FRONT CAMERA,2MP REAR CAMERA,HDMI OUTPUT,43 GB INTERNAL STORAGE,MICRO SD SUPPORT,3,500 MAH BATTERY,BLUETOOTH,WIFI. 

Firstly the 2 MP camera is poor but tablets are not really for taking pictures either but you have a camera there just in case,also the 1GB RAM is not impressive but plenty for running tasks,Battery is quite good but again the persons usage will again yeild different results,overall its battery life is quite good..So far the tablet seems to run quite smooth and fast with only the wifi causing issues with connection it seems to loose connection quite often so hopefully this will be sorted out soon enough with an update,others have reported the same issue..

The Nexus 6 has been on sale a few months now but once again its the Irish users that have been left out to buy from the play store. Oddly enough we can buy the rather highly priced Nexus 9 tablet so many feel duped by this action which has always been the case or we where left waiting much longer than others,the Nexus 6 has popped up on the UK play store but yet to be seen for the Irish one.

Sharing photos from your phone can be annoying task at times or epsecially if you are in a room and multple people want to see the same thing something that i would tend to avoid myself if i do not have the right tools to do the job,at home is fine due to many ways available but if you are elsewhere the chances remain slim to do so.

2014 Has been a year of highs and lows to say the least and hopefully 2015 brings good to all and we have certainly some things lined up.

It’s a honour to have been nominated for Connects Personality of the year 2014.

Now those that know me from Twitter or forums alike that i do not take things lying down and can be very straight and out with things,nor do i have a polished prescence nor pretend to be a goddie two shoes and im rather colourful,nothing wrong with that at all im Jimbo and what you see is what you get. I am fun too.I like to help,i like to rant and have fun,all over im balanced.

 

Along with that i also like to give back what i receive via competitions for our followers so i have a good heart and like to share some love to all. (This also make more room for me lol.)

Its a honour to be included in the list of people that have been also put forward for this and im pretty sure that the judges have had a tough time to select the candidates. Each one has their own skill and i think all are indeed winners in their own right same applies to the Editors..

Known for my love of mobile phones and been a huge collector i also give my spare time on support forums which i think is a vital attribute other than talking about or showing off phones i spend equal time writing and helping others which shows on several forums and especially the Microsoft Mobile Forum,formerly the Nokia Support forum in which i have spent almost 8 years helping others and of course having the odd rant. This is just one forum where i have been a long standing member. I am ONE person remember..
