Need a new affordable pair of earbuds that are clean, simple to the point and get the job done exceptionally well, these guys should be on your list, earbuds these days are getting better in the lower end department and offering decent audio too with most of the features you expect to get, there is some that want it all for nothing but we are getting there with the cost to performance ratio with a lot of tech these days.
The Cute Meet 300 ENC are clean and come in a really cool case too with an unusual placement of the USB-C port mind you, however let this not be a caveat and listen more. These do not look cheap they are clean with a small sten and fit really well, there is no tips here as they are a one piece unit like airpods which are still overpriced and not up to standards no more compared to others out there and even some that come in under half their price, I have tested the biggest range of earbuds here in Ireland and my ears don’t tell fibs, Yes you can argue everyone’s ears are different but go ahead.
When it come to sound they are decent it must be said, nice bass so keep that in mind, highs lows and mids are fine and for music and depending on your source they do really well and are decently loud, my music source is YouTube and it is where I test most if not all my earbuds, for movies and gaming they are also fine and they also have a gaming mode too there is no lag latency either, and can be used individually so they have it all really including your skip and reverse track, volume control and more and access to your voice assistant.

Today, at the first-ever Shadow Spotlight keynote, cloud-computing specialist SHADOW detailed its strategic vision for the coming years and delivered on promises made to its community.
Now a global cloud-computing company chaired by Octave Klaba, OVHcloud founder, SHADOW is moving forward with a new cloud storage solution. With this re-launch, SHADOW positions itself as the definitive cloud platform for gamers, creatives, and businesses.
Shadow’s Power Upgrade, the best of our cloud-computing technology, available to everyone to play, create, and work on any connected device
SHADOW’s original product launched in 2016 offering the aim of allowing all individuals to enjoy the power of a high-end PC within the cloud. The revamped Shadow subscription service features an updated plan: while the starting price remains $29,99€ per month, we now offer a brand-new Power Upgrade, available for an additional $14,99€.
This new upgrade will help realize SHADOW’s plan to introduce and sustain a more complete and adaptable offering, suited to everyone’s needs, offering new technology at the best price. SHADOW strives to keep its promise: to democratize access to a PC with the latest components for as many people as possible, via the cloud, without needing to purchase a physical device.
So, what will be the configuration of the Power Upgrade?
An AMD EPYC™ 7543P CPU with 4 cores and 8 threads
The power of a high-end GPU, ranging from:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX™ 3070-class
NVIDIA’s equivalent graphic cards tailored for professionals
AMD’s latest RDNA 2 based GPUs, including the AMD Radeon™ PRO V620 GPU designed for cloud-computing and gaming
16 GB of RAM
The model of GPU included in specific Power Upgrade configurations will vary based on local data-center pick. Shadow will notably feature for the first time AMD EPYC™ processors and AMD’s latest RDNA 2 GPUs running innovative cloud streaming software solutions as part of its offerings. Details regarding GPU territorial availability are forthcoming.
Shadow’s Power Upgrade will be available for pre-order this summer, and globally available* this fall. An Early Access period will also be available for selected users ahead of general availability, for which details will be shared soon. Users can already register to be notified when the pre-orders go live in the coming weeks by following this link.
In addition to the availability of the Power Upgrade, the Shadow base offer continues to benefit from new features that expand or enhance the experience. SHADOW recently released dual and remote screen updates, enhanced colors with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling**, and the release of Shadow VR in Early Access, the first ever VR experience entirely powered by the cloud. Today, we also unveiled its new look, and the redesign of its overlay interface, offering an even more intuitive and responsive experience.
Our Shadow cloud-based computer also has the added benefit of an embedded 1Gbps fiber connection. And finally, users can also add extra-storage options, easily upgradable up to 2 TB.
“At SHADOW, we believe that cloud technologies have the potential to bring technological freedom to all,” declared Éric Sèle, CEO at SHADOW. “That’s why today, we’re very happy to introduce a new milestone for our Shadow service, with our Power Upgrade.”
“It is with excitement that we start a great new cooperation with Shadow, supporting them both with our CPU and GPU lines in a powerful package. This is an important step in accelerating their technological and geographic development projects,” said Olivier Suinat, CVP Global Sales at AMD.
Shadow will be available this fall in Canada and Austria, among other territories

Our ambition to set personal technology free from its material boundaries is not just about cloud-computing. To go beyond, we have been developing Shadow Drive, our cloud storage solution, with the help of our prestigious partner Nextcloud, for which I thank Frank,” explained Éric Sèle, CEO at SHADOW. “We are very excited with this combined European effort.”
“We have a common vision with Octave and Éric, and share values of excellence, openness and European sovereignty. This partnership felt natural and we are very happy to help SHADOW achieve its ambitions,” said Frank Karlitschek, CEO at Nextcloud.
Technology affects almost every aspect of our lives, from transport, to healthcare, communication, manufacturing and more. It’s in our workplace, our homes, and our pockets, and it’s hard to imagine life without it.
Things that would have seemed impossible a few years ago are now taken for granted. Lights are turned on with our voices, the heating is controlled via a smartphone and movies and games are streamed to huge flat screen TV’s.
One of the most visible and enjoyable areas that technology has improved, is gaming. When the computer games took off in the 1980’s, no one could have imagined the power and immersive realism afforded by todays offerings.
But what exactly are these technological advances and what impact are they having on today’s games.
Augmented Reality
Augmented reality gaming (AR) is the integration of games visual and audio with the players environment in real time. These games are typically played on portable gaming systems such as smartphones or tablets, in order to maximise the experience.
The most obvious and successful example of an AR game was Pokemon Go which became a worldwide sensation upon its release. By using a smartphones camera, gyroscope, clock and GPS, it created a unique location-based AR environment for the player.
The game sent players on the hunt for Pokemon monsters around their neighbourhood, and was able to display the creatures on screen in the user’s real-world environment. Another more recent example of AR is Nintendo’s Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit, which transforms your home into augmented reality-enhanced race tracks.
While the game is expensive due to the advanced technology involved, it is a great example of the possibilities of AR, and the exciting future that lies ahead for this tech.
Virtual Reality (VR)
VR has been around a while and in many ways, it’s still waiting for the gaming world to catch up – and prices to come down! Having said that, there are plenty of great titles out there that are making use of this great technology, such as Resident Evil 4 VR and No Man’s Sky VR.
There are still limitations to this tech however, with gamers needing to invest in expensive headsets such as Meta Quest. The physical limitations of a gamers playing space is also an issue when they are immersed in a seemingly boundless virtual world.
Virtual Reality is an exciting technology that can take players anywhere and allow them to immerse themselves in a game. Whether it’s playing table tennis, fighting Zombies or a visit to the casino, the possibilities are endless.
Smartphones
The single biggest cause behind the explosion in gaming popularity is the rise of the smartphone. Thanks to its portability and ease of access, anyone with a smartphone has access to games anytime and anywhere they choose.
Last year, mobile games were responsible for nearly half of the video game industry sales, and that doesn’t include the download of free games. One of the biggest benefactors of the mobile gaming revolution are online casino games such, poker, roulette, blackjack and slots like Rainbow Riches.
Previously, if gamers wanted to play casino games, they would have to physically visit a land-based casino. But thanks to the internet and smartphones, gamers can enjoy these classic games from the comfort of their own homes.
With smartphones boasting fast internet speeds, powerful graphics and quality screens, casino games are an immersive and entertaining experience.
Cloud Gaming
Cloud gaming has the potential to revolutionise the gaming industry. Thanks to fast broadband speeds, players are able to game in real time on almost any device.
Powerful servers in the cloud host the games, allowing gamers to access them online via their devices. This means that players do not need to invest in expensive gaming consoles and computers in order to play the latest games, all the processing is done in the cloud.
Also called gaming on demand, it is essentially a Netflix for games. And just like Netflix, there are plenty of competitors battling it out for market share.
Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation, Google, Amazon, Nvidia and Nintendo, are just some of the many companies offering gamers access to their catalogues through a monthly subscription service.
This tech also brings other benefits, such as the removal of boundaries when it comes to game design. So often designers are limited in their imagination by the processing power of gamers devices, but with huge cloud servers powering games, the sky really is the limit.
3D Graphics
Old online games were based on two-dimensional graphics which still retain a certain charm, but the onset of 3D has changed everything in the gaming world. Games are now more immersive, realistic, exciting and enjoyable.
Racing games, first person shooters and sports titles have all benefitted, with games such as Call of Duty, Forza and EA’s FIFA series all fine examples. Open world games have also utilised this technology to create best selling games such as the worldwide hit, Minecraft, with its creativity and endless possibilities.
The future of gaming
As technology continues to improve players can expect to see many more exciting improvements to their gameplay experience. With fierce competition driving innovation in the sector, companies need to utilise technology to create unique games that will attract players to their offering. The winners will be the gamers who get to enjoy even better, more immersive titles.
The Punkt MP02 phone has been in my pocket the last while, whilst not using it constantly I have used it in the evenings and weekends to get away from all the fuss, this meant I had to schedule lots of stuff and come to my laptop once a day to catch up on emails and all that kind of stuff this phone is meant to take me away from. From someone who carries two expensive high end devices most of the time it was a break I would go back to again having this device, my business phone was turned off at 5pm every day and I swapped out my sim into this device in the evenings and weekends and it was great.
Why I say it is great you might ask, NO social media NO emails and more no pinging noises and whatsmore better for your mental health too. The right to switch off is another matter that we have recently posted on site about and this phone does that, if someone wants you they can text or phone you like we all did in the old days or again just turn the phone off.. The phone runs with Pidgeon and the MP02 is the first voice phone to offer a downloadable privacy feature that uses the Signal protocol to provide free, encrypted Internet-based calls and texts worldwide via Wi Fi or mobile data (subject to data charges). We believe Signal provides vastly greater security compared to the widely-used encrypted alternatives, which exist primarily as tools for harvesting and selling valuable metadata (contacts lists, who communicated with whom, when it happened, etc.). In the Signal system, all metadata is encrypted. By using the Signal-protocol, it is possible to add group messaging and voice messages to the MP02.
Unboxing the MP02 phone
The phone itself caused a still anytime I was out having lunch etc people came up and asked what it was, it does stand out in the nice colour we got the device in and does not have that candybar finish but an angled approach on the rear, it does stand out and it does feel good in the hand and comfortable to use too given the size of the device in comparison to the normal phones I have on me which are big.
MP02 phone back techbuzzireland
What does this device do was another question asked and how much does it cost, well the price first of all threw everyone away but that was expected but when the few sat down I explained the pros and cons and it is a niche market for now this device is for but I can see this growing over the next few years as people are sick and tired of the hustle and bustle of a smartphone where everything is at your fingertips and you are easily contactable.
OK so you have a 4g sim card slot but no apps no music no app store and has storage you can’t access but you can take calls and messages and use the device as a hotspot so if your mate runs out of credit for example that cant go without you are there to the rescue but it is a slow connection, so people then said well I can buy a cheap nokia that does the same thing which is right but the cheap and cheerful 20 euro phones are piles of trash and one drop on the ground they are done, this phone is solid and the same thing will not happen.
MP02 phone side view techbuzzireland
The device has a nice keypad on front and it is also backlight so it is fine for using in the dark, you have two quick launch buttons for messaging and your phone book and the rest you can see in the video review below, there is more than meets the eye here with secure messaging and calls for those who might be worried they do not get their WhatsApp experience however you can use SIGNAL if you wish, I did not avail of it as the phone as is was enough for me and one less way someone could contact me. Which for me is the point of having the device.
You have a two inch monochrome screen which works fine no matter where you look at it and it is all kept so simple, and that is what is great with this, no apps, no massive endless sub menu lists, no long list of settings no hassle and for all that to keep your mental health in order and get away from the real world for a while it is worth it. See the video review for more below.
The MP02 offers an alternative to mass-produced, old-tech handsets. It’s not just a thin-as-possible pixel platform; it’s a solid, comfortable piece of equipment that is easy to pick up, feels great in the hand, and is never, ever going to bend. Its sleek elegance is matched by top-quality materials, producing a phone that provides a concrete reminder of why the physical world is the world that matters even before it is switched on.

Blockchain is described as one of the most significant technological breakthroughs of the twenty first century.
The market for blockchain is projected to grow to $67.4 billion by 2026, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) exceeding 66%. The value of the crypto market is now worth in excess of $2 trillion. These technologies are reshaping businesses across the globe, and the associated innovation is outpacing existing business models, ecosystems, policy and legislation.
Blockchain Ireland Week 2022, from 30 May, will explore the developing role of blockchain, crypto, and Web3 in Ireland and globally, examining their value, understanding their impact, and asking how Ireland can take full advantage. By 2030, blockchain is expected to be a foundational technology for 30% of customers globally, according to a Gartner report*. As the business world moves towards holding and trading more digital assets, Deloitte reports intent to adopt among more than three quarters (76%) of executives within the decade. Blockchain, crypto, and Web3 are predicted to become a critical enabling technology layer, not just for enterprise, but for organisations of all shapes and sizes, in sectors such as in finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, government, and beyond.
The EU’s European Blockchain Service Infrastructure is also expected to become the backbone for public and private cross-border services for companies and citizens alike. Similarly, China has developed its Blockchain-based Service Network (BSN), for state and commercial use.
Opening the free programme of events for Blockchain Ireland Week 2022 will be Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe, at the Alex Hotel, Dublin, on Monday 30 May from 09:00. Joining the Minister will be a range of speakers and panellists from public services, academia, enterprise, media, and the start-up community, such as Government CIO Barry Lowry, head of payments EMEA with Stripe, Sean Mullaney, and from the world of arts and media, music legend Mick Flannery, actor Peter Coonan, and artist Maser.
The programme will explore not just the current opportunities around blockchain, crypto, and Web3 but also look towards future developments. Panel themes include getting a job in crypto, building a talent pipeline, and developing legal and regulatory frameworks to enable Ireland to become a global hub for blockchain, crypto, and Web3.
Another hot topic for discussion is the buzz around non-fungible tokens (NFT), and their impact in areas such as the arts and high fashion.
The event week is a mix of a formal programme and curated events from around the country, as the whole blockchain and crypto technology community from across the island join in.
There will be an evening social featuring awards for the sector and an NFT competition with cash prizes for the best entries.
Blockchain Ireland Week is run by Blockchain Ireland, the industry innovation network that promotes the understanding and adoption of blockchain, crypto, and Web3 in Ireland. With more than 1,400 active members and 6,000 social media followers, the network caters to various communities through its working groups around enterprise, start-ups, developers, education, skills and innovation, and legal and regulatory topics.

The MIFO S belongs to Sport & outdo (S&O) brand (owned by Mifo), and the brand name “Sport&outdo” The MIFO S Active Noise Cancelling True Wireless Earbuds are the latest of a huge range of earbuds in for review making it another hot year for the true wireless market, with prices coming down and the user getting more features it makes it harder for choice but this depends on what you want, with these earbuds they have a smaller profile than most and in fact the smallest earbuds this year so far that I have tested including the many pairs in which you will soon see reviewed.
The presentation of the product is also quite nice however what you see on the box does not transcribe to what is inside and by that I mean the case and the earbuds cover however the product inside is excellent considering its size and some might prefer the actual finished product itself which looks really cool, well made and much more.
Comfort and Fit
These are small earbuds with a clever design and the look cool and stand out too, they fit well and will not fall out due to the “horn design” without the added gel wings we tend to find with earbuds, the right tips is of course important and once you have them on the passive noise isolation is excellent too and they do not hurt when changing tracks and so on.
Controls
The controls are easy to use too with a concave finish on the earbud itself, even for my big fingers it was no problem getting things done which was something I was worried about having huge hands but to my surprise they worked well, all the usuals you expect to find are here as demonstrated in the video review below, volume up/down skip/; reverse tracks and so on.You have three modes – Long press for one second to switch to mild noise reduction mode, strong noise reduction mode, or transparent mode, you can see more in the video review on the operation of the earbuds.
Sound
Well.. These have no app and when I see earbuds coming without an app I get a bit bothered but trust me if you like bass these are for you, they are base heavy which I like bit some may not and they do a great job overall with highs lows and mids and any thing you are doing with them in fact so with Netflix YouTube and movies you will be pleased with the audio experience from these tiny earbuds that pack a huge punch for their size.
MIFO S active noise cancelling earbuds techbuzzireland
Battery Life
Like these guys are tiny earbuds and they come with a decent battery life too after testing for some time they average around 38.5 hours on max volume which is impressive given their size the case they come in too is also super cool and robust and one of the nicest ones this year so far, I like my earbuds cases to be different and these are different and the build quality is better than most at this price point.
Overall
if you like bass and a decent volume these are for you and overall a rich audio experience they are IP67 rated the ANC/ENC is good and up there with more expensive models and look different but cool with a nice colour and more expensive than they look finish.
