Tech Review – Creative Pebble X Plus

Previously reviewed on techbuzz the Creative Pebble X which for me are worth every cent their big brother the Creative Pebble Plus outdo those which i did not think would be possible however the Plus sign here unlike phone is worth the name on the end and these pack even more of a punch and notable if ran side by side but the configuration is different and the there is some difference between the Pebble X.

This time around we get a subwoofer which is super solid and has some decent weight to it meaning it will not wobble around even when maxed out on volume and they do get seriously loud too. The woofer has no lighting at all however the speakers retain the RGB lighting that is customizable to your own requirements

The design of the speakers is the same but lacks the radiators on the side, these have moved onto the box if you will giving you a centre stage sound but mighty, the controls and ports remain the same as the Pebble X and set up is the same again and fairly simple, there has been some updates to the app since my testing and you most likely will need to update when you pick them up, this will prompt you to remove the cable and when setting up again holding down the RGB button and plugging in the USB-C cable at the same time and things go back to normal..

Overall here if you have the extra few quid to spend I would spend it on these but if not the Pebble X is more than good enough, the sound on these is louder more punchy excellent bass and you do see me get a little excited in the full video review below. If you want great sound for more than a reasonable price for your Laptop/PC or Phone this is where it is at and easy to recommend. Tech Review – Creative Pebble X

The Creative Pebble X and Pebble X Plus are here for review and over the last while we have put both to the test but today we are looking at the Pebble X which are the cheaper of the two, recently we checked out the Pebble V3 Artisan Edition here and these are quite a bump up from them when it comes to sound and slightly larger packing a serious punch.

These have enhanced custom-tuned 2.75″ full-range drivers for a truly immersive listening experience. The two models boast the iconic 45° elevated design, meticulously angled for an optimized listening experience and are slightly larger giving more space to thump out the tunes and if you like bass you are in for a treat.

There is rubber ring underneath and an option to mount them if required the build quality is excellent and there is simple controls up front as before being an RGB control and a switch mode between bluetooth and PC connections also the volume dial acts as a voice control to turn it on or off. On the rear is the two USB-C ports one being PD which we had no charger to test, I do have one somewhere in the house but it has gone for a walk and there is also an aux port.

Once set up on your PC this is where the games changes, there is options on the mobile app but too however the PC app is where it shines most you will most likely get an update when connected, be sure to install the app first then the connect your speakers via cables provided.

In the app you will see below all the features at hand to custom tune the looks and sound and the sound is what people want to know about here.

They pack a serious loud punch highs lows and mids are great and for the concerning person who likes to customize things the app allows you to do so.

In short these are an excellent pair of speakers and well worth the money here and better than previous models and takes things to a new level you will not be disappointed with the sound and the features even for the most concerning audio folk.

Tech Review – Creative Pebble V3 Artisan Edition Speakers

Back in 2021 we reviewed the Creative Pebble V3 and for me did not think it was that long back but moving on there is a new version of the speaker now available called the Artisan Edition which is a new collaboration with the brand which is great to see and it is one of several brands we are now working with that have collabs going on and brings colour and art to the mix over the typical stock colours of products released and it is cool.

All round though these speakers are much the same as before that pack a powerful punch look good and sound great with really nice bass not drowning out the music no lag latency and no tinny sound when maxed out at all, these sound great anywhere in the house and are super easy to connect, you also get a bluetooth dongle in the box and you can connect via BT via phone or laptop once they are powered up, speaking of you just need to plug them into your USB-C port or use the adaptor provided and you can also connect your phone if you wish to do so.

There is good B&O speakers on my laptop but with these plugged in they sound drown them out and you will see this in the demo below both connected to the laptop via USB-C and then a separate test connected to a smartphone.

Tech Review – PSB M4U 8 MKII Headphones in Espresso Brown

Way back in 2018 and longer than I had thought in the unboxing video which I said three years ago, we checked out the PSB Speakers M4U-8 headphones and to me they were something else back then in 2018 and yeah my review was short but were  only starting out back then after covering Nokia only tech for years and have turned up the game since, Yes 2018 and a pair of headphones I miss, To this day certain brands are applauded every year and is now getting boring and after testing or trying most of these myself.

OK they look the same which is no harm and if something aint broke dont fix it is what they say the cans are comfortable to wear for hours on end even for gaming and movies which is what I have done here whilst reviewing, the headband and cups are super soft and comfortable as before only this time in a new colour which is Espresso Brown and I love it, it is not to often you seen brown headphones.

The controls are all on one side and again I like this it is my personal preference and the size of the controls again something I like which makes it super easy to execute commands every time and again all features are present with call control voice assistant skip and reverse tracks and volume up and down and of course play and pause is all preset and again demonstrated in the video review below.

The App

The app is excellent with two parts to it you could say and you need to once again complete a hearing test which is common these days and it is for your benefit in the end and my god the audio on these is as before superb, this is in the audiowizard side of the app where you can switch moods and cinema is the best one here for me but overall they all sound good and you can also custom tune the bass and treble here which will be welcome to anyone who uses them, the front end of the app is a bit on the lame side however there is again many options to control them, some of the options can be tuned on the controls too on the headphones, there could have been more presets here but there is enough to keep you going and fine tune yourself in the end and you have room feel,better dialogue, more detailed and tighter bass so in here you can tune to your personal taste.

 

 

Overall It has to be said the company have done it again with a superb pair of headphones with a new color that I like, you are getting super comfortable headphones loud volume and many other features thrown in, there is no lag latency they work great on calls and if you are watching a movie or gaming you are center stage here and will not be dissapointed one bit.
