Roborock Saros 10 robotic vacuum cleaner review

The Roborock Saros 10 robotic vacuum cleaner is the premium product from the company that just launched in Ireland recently however there is cheaper models avaiable which is great for the consumer giving them choice and a product for their needs which is something I like.

If you want to keep your floors clean this includes those who have pets this is the machine you need full stop and it worked perfeclty during my testing and there was lots to test on this.

The unit itself is an average size compared to other vacuums we have tested here and fits nicely in any spot in your room once set up as you will see in the full hands-on demo below it is simpe to use. It also looks like a premium device and that it is with what it can do.

The Roborock app is excellent one of the best I have used for such a product in along time and once set up the vacuum leaves its docks scans the rooms and comes back and is ready to rock. There is some buttons on the vacuum itself but I think you will find there is no need to only for setting up.

The navigation process is fun to watch this can go onto multiple levels like carpets or door dividers for example and it avoid obsticles with great accuarcy in the video below you will see it put to the test and watch it not touch a press door or anything it is super precise in what it does.

There is also a built in camera that can be used at home or remotley with the ability to speak through it and this is excellent and could also be used to keep an eye on things should you wish the speaker is crystal clear and the video feedback very clear with little buffering, this may depend on your internet connection and time of day.

There is also a remote control on board which is fun to you so if you are bored you can clean the entire house yourself with your mobile phone which defeats the purpose but it is great to have and I love it and we need to see more of this, recently I done a garden mower with the same feature.

There is two brushes underneath a cloth base and arm and of course a big brush all these work well in tandem and give good results after putting dirt on the floor, with some vacuums the main sweeper brush tended to push dirt away but not with the Saros 10 it picked up and cleaned everything.

Check out the video below for a proper look and what the Roborock Saros 10 can do you will be impressed and to date the best robotic vacuum I have tried, it might seem expensive for some but this is worthy of the expense and the company taking things to a new level.

The Roborock App

How Samsung Is Tackling Sleep Apnea to Energise Your Days

Millions worldwide suffer from sleep apnea, but 80% of sufferers[1] don’t even know they have it. This serious condition causes people to pause breathing while asleep, potentially disrupting oxygen supply, lowering sleep quality, and leading to health complications including hypertension and stroke. Despite these risks, the disorder largely goes unnoticed because getting a diagnosis usually requires time-consuming and costly in-lab sleep studies.

To mark World Sleep Day 2026, a global study of Samsung Health users[2] is shedding new light on the true extent of the condition and the disruptive impact it has on your sleep. Aligned with this year’s World Sleep Day theme, “Sleep Well, Live Better,” Samsung is turning the invisible signs of sleep apnea into actionable insights through its Galaxy Watch series, helping those affected improve their sleep habits and overall health.

How Does Sleep Apnea Impact Your Sleep?

The report found that 23% of study participants are at risk of sleep apnea.

“The microarousals and awakenings that follow breathing pauses fragment your sleep,” explains behavioral sleep scientist Dr. Vanessa Hill. “Those occurrences can prevent the brain from staying in the REM and deep sleep stages necessary for cognitive and physical restoration.”

The report shows these constant disruptions take a direct toll on sleep duration and quality, leading to:

  • Reduced REM Sleep: Participants with moderate to severe sleep apnea indicators detected by their Galaxy Watch got around four minutes less rapid eye movement (REM) sleep, the phase where our brains process emotions, consolidate memories and cement learning. Without enough of it, people can experience mood instability and memory problems, impacting performance at work and overall well-being.
  • Less Deep Sleep: Sleep apnea also robs sufferers of deep sleep, approximately eight minutes less per night, on average. This is the body’s critical physical restoration phase, where growth hormone is released, muscles are repaired, and your immune system is activated. Losing out on deep sleep is why you may feel physically exhausted, have slower recovery times, and get sick more often.
  • Frequent Nightly Awakenings: Study participants with signs of sleep apnea also woke up regularly during the night and stayed awake around four minutes longer. These interruptions derail the sleep cycle, locking you into lighter, less restorative stages and making next-day exhaustion inevitable, no matter how long you slept.
  • Shorter Sleep Duration: Overall, people with a higher likelihood of sleep apnea averaged around 12 minutes less sleep. While this loss may seem minor, it can have a significant impact on overall sleep quality as your sleep cycle gets fragmented throughout the night.

Why It Matters: “Even a small loss in sleep duration is compounded by a larger loss of sleep quality,” said Dr. Hill. “This can be the difference between simply being ‘in bed’ and getting restorative rest, which could be why people feel so tired the next day.”

Dr. Hill also advocates a multidimensional approach to sleep health. “Sleep apnea affects many dimensions of sleep, duration, quality, sleep efficiency and even daytime fatigue,” she stated. “They together help determine our health and functioning.”

With sleep apnea shown to impact all aspects of sleep and lead to other health complications, detection is an essential first step in the fight against the condition.

How Does Galaxy Watch Help Detect Signs of Moderate to Severe Sleep Apnea?

For years, sleep apnea has been difficult to detect due to the need for inconvenient hospital tests. However, Samsung offers at-home detection with a first-of-its-kind Sleep Apnea[3] feature on your Galaxy Watch.

  • How It Works: Users simply track their sleep with a compatible Galaxy Watch[4] for more than four hours over two nights within a ten-day period. Available through the Samsung Health Monitor app, the Sleep Apnea feature enables users to proactively spot signs of the condition. Initially launched in Korea, the feature has since received De Novo authorization from the U.S. FDA and is now available in 78 markets[5] worldwide and counting.
  • The Technology: Leveraging the Galaxy Watch’s BioActive Sensor, the feature tracks blood oxygen levels to determine when the user stops breathing (apnea) or is not breathing enough (hypopnea). Based on this data, the feature estimates the user’s Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI), which indicates the severity of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA).
  • From Awareness to Action: By detecting signs of sleep apnea early, the feature provides the data needed for an informed consultation with a medical professional. In addition to tackling sleep apnea, your Galaxy Watch can help you build habits for better holistic sleep health. Features include the Sleep Coaching program for detailed analysis and tips on how to improve sleep quality and Bedtime Guidance,[6] which recommends your optimal bedtime to ensure you consistently get enough sleep.

“For years, the inconvenience of an in-lab clinical sleep study has been a barrier to diagnosing sleep apnea,” added Dr. Hill. “Wearable technology such as Galaxy Watch is a breakthrough because it democratizes that first step. It allows people to gather meaningful data from their own beds, providing a starting point for a conversation with a healthcare professional.”

Take Control of Your Night

OBSBOT Tiny 3 and OBSBOT Vox SE Wireless Microphone – Review

At TechBuzz Ireland we have looked at several OBSBOT products over the years, and the Tiny 3 with the Vox SE Wireless Microphone continues that trend with a compact PTZ webcam and matching wireless audio kit aimed at creators and remote workers. The camera itself is the real highlight here, with a small, solid build and plenty of smart features, while most of the drawbacks in this package are centred around the microphone and its accessories rather than the Tiny 3.

Design, build and what you get

The Tiny 3 arrives in the familiar OBSBOT‑style packaging, and having reviewed many of these units before, the presentation and layout will feel very familiar. The first noticeable detail is just how small and compact the Tiny 3 is, yet it still feels solid in the hand and well put together.

In the box you get the Tiny 3 camera, USB‑C cable, USB‑C to USB‑A adapter, adjustable mount, user manual, warranty card and a dedicated Tiny 3 storage case. The case is a big practical plus, as it keeps the camera, mount and cable together and protected, which matters more here because of the exposed gimbal design.

The body uses an aircraft‑grade aluminium alloy with a dual‑axis gimbal, and despite the compact size it never feels flimsy. At around 63 g it is light enough to carry every day, but still has enough weight that it does not feel like a cheap plastic webcam perched on top of your screen.

Key specs and features

Inside, the Tiny 3 is built around a 1/1.28‑inch CMOS sensor with effective pixels of 50 MP, giving it plenty of resolution to work with for both 4K and lower‑resolution modes. It supports up to 4K at 30 fps and 1080p at 120 fps, along with a 4x digital zoom and a 2‑axis gimbal for smooth framing and movement.

You also get DCG HDR, wide ISO support from 100 to 12800, and Dual All‑Pixel PDAF autofocus for quick and reliable focusing. On the audio side, the Tiny 3 has an intelligent directional built‑in mic system and can also connect to external audio devices such as the Vox SE.

OBSBOT has packed in a long list of headline features including:

  • Top‑tier spatial audio performance
  • “Tiny in Size, Titan in Performance” compact design
  • Premium imaging system aimed at flagship‑level webcam quality
  • Industry‑leading AI features such as Smarter AI Tracking 2.0, voice‑activated control and effortless framing
  • Powerful creative software with professional image controls and creative tools
  • RTC remote interaction for real‑time remote control and streaming
  • OBSBOT Avatar & Virtual Voice (beta) for VTubing and motion capture
  • Seamless integration into the wider OBSBOT ecosystem, including multicam setups and wireless audio workflows

Setup and software

Out of the box, the Tiny 3 works as a plug‑and‑play webcam and can be used straight away with apps like Microsoft Teams, Skype and similar platforms. That said, to really get the most from the hardware it is strongly recommended to download and install the free OBSBOT Center software and update to the latest firmware.

Once the software is installed, you gain access to more detailed image controls, AI tracking options, presets and creative tools. The physical unit can sit on top of a laptop or monitor using the adjustable mount, or you can use the built‑in 1/4‑inch thread to attach it to a tripod (tripod not included) for more flexible positioning.

The overall setup process is straightforward if you are used to webcams, but there is still a bit of learning involved if you want to explore all of the AI and control features the Tiny 3 offers.

Voice and gesture control

Voice control remains one of the more standout features on the Tiny 3, allowing you to use commands such as “Hi Tiny”, “Sleep Tiny”, “Track me”, “Unlock me”, “Zoom in”, “Zoom out” and preset positions 1, 2 and 3. When it works, it gives you a very convenient hands‑free way to control framing and behaviour, particularly useful when you are away from the keyboard during a call or recording.

Gesture control is also supported and allows you to trigger actions using simple hand movements, making it easy to start tracking or adjust framing without fumbling around in software menus. Together with the AI tracking, these controls help the Tiny 3 feel more like a small PTZ studio camera than a basic webcam.

OBSBOT Vox Wireless Microphone

Alongside the Tiny 3, I also tested the OBSBOT Vox Wireless Microphone, which is designed to work seamlessly with the Tiny 3 series. The microphone kit comes with its own carry case, and this is important because there are a lot of small accessories included which could easily get lost otherwise.

In the case you will find the compact wireless mic unit along with a furry windshield, lanyard, magnetic holder, necklace and a USB‑C charging docking station. The mic itself is made from hard plastic and feels solid given its size, and the overall idea is to provide a flexible, cable‑free audio solution that fits neatly into the OBSBOT ecosystem.

From a technical point of view the Vox has some strong numbers: it offers studio‑grade audio quality with omnidirectional pickup, dual‑channel recording, plug‑and‑play operation, extended battery life and versatile mounting options. It is designed to work with smartphones and tablets that have USB‑C, and integrates with OBSBOT Center and OBSBOT Live.

The microphone specifications include:

  • Dimensions: 28.53 × 25.47 × 11.5 mm
  • Weight: approx. 9 g (excluding magnetic clip)
  • Usage time: up to 20 hours
  • Microphone directivity: omnidirectional
  • Sensitivity: −37 dBFS ±1 dBFS @ 1 kHz, 94 dB SPL
  • Maximum sound pressure level: 123 dB SPL
  • Signal‑to‑noise ratio: 68 dBA
  • Frequency response: 50 Hz–20 kHz
  • Sampling rate and bit depth: 48 kHz/24‑bit
  • Wireless mode: GFSK 2 Mbps
  • Battery voltage: 3.7 V (operating 3.3–4.4 V)
  • Working distance: up to 100 m in open, interference‑free conditions
  • Battery capacity: 170 mAh
  • Operating temperature: 0–40°C

In use, the Vox works well in terms of audio quality and wireless range, delivering a clutter‑free, cable‑free workflow when paired with the Tiny 3. However, there are some niggles: the large number of small accessories makes it easier to misplace parts, and charging the microphones through the dock feels less convenient than if OBSBOT had used a more straightforward wireless charging solution or a single USB‑C connection directly to the kit.

Software integration and niggles

Connecting the Vox to the OBSBOT camera through the software is not completely intuitive on first install. The instructions tell you to select mode, go to Audio, choose OBSBOT Microphone and then add TX1/TX2, but actually finding those options in the software for the first time can be a bit of a challenge.

Once you have located the correct settings, pairing works as expected and is easy enough, but this initial friction is worth noting if you are not used to digging through software menus. This contrasts with the camera side of things, where basic setup is closer to plug‑and‑play, particularly if you just want to use the Tiny 3 as a standard webcam first and explore the extra features later.

Warranty

One area that feels slightly out of step with the overall premium feel of the Tiny 3 and Vox kit is the warranty. The package comes with a one‑year warranty, which is fine on paper but a bit of a disappointment given the quality of the hardware and the fact that the Tiny 3 has moving parts in the gimbal.

For a product at this level and price point, a longer warranty would provide more peace of mind, especially for users planning to use it heavily for work or content creation.

Verdict

Overall, the OBSBOT Tiny 3 is a pleasure to use and feels like a Swiss‑Army‑knife style webcam – small, responsive and packed with genuinely useful features. The 2‑axis gimbal, digital zoom, fast response and hand gesture/voice controls make it easy to frame shots the way you want, whether you are on calls or creating content as part of the wider OBSBOT ecosystem.

As with previous OBSBOT units I have used, the Tiny 3 feels solid in the hand, with a compact design and included storage case that make it simple to carry between setups without worrying about the gimbal. The free software adds more creative control and multiple ways to operate the camera, so you can get more out of it than a standard plug‑and‑play webcam while still being able to drop it into everyday apps like Teams or Skype.

The add‑on Vox wireless microphone technically works well, with good audio and range, but the number of small accessories, the extra charging dock and the slightly awkward first‑time setup in the software mean most of my niggles are around the mic rather than the camera. A longer warranty than one year would better match the premium feel of the kit, but taken on its own, the Tiny 3 is an easy camera to recommend if you want a compact, feature‑rich webcam that can grow with you inside the OBSBOT ecosystem.

EthyloKey: World’s First Touch-Based Alcohol Detector

Ethylowheel is proud to announce the upcoming Kickstarter launch of EthyloKey, a new category of pocket-sized, contact-based alcohol-awareness device designed to help users better understand their alcohol consumption before driving — effortlessly, discreetly, and responsibly.

Launching on Kickstarter on January 8, 2026, EthyloKey combines patented sensor technology, thoughtful product design, and intuitive real-time feedback to support alcohol awareness in everyday life – without mouthpieces, forced blowing, or socially awkward gestures.

Why EthyloKey?

Most people don’t use a breathalyzer when they should – not because they don’t care, but because existing tools are inconvenient, embarrassing, or impractical in real-life situations. Devices designed for enforcement or professional use rarely fit into everyday social moments.

Alcohol awareness should be as simple and natural as checking the time. It should happen before getting behind the wheel – quietly, quickly, and without friction.

EthyloKey was created to remove those barriers and turn prevention into a simple habit – empowering individuals to pause, reflect, and make more informed decisions, while remaining fully responsible for their choices.

Simple, Visual Guidance

With a brief finger touch, users receive color-coded indicative feedback designed to support understanding and self-evaluation. This guidance helps users assess whether they may be above commonly accepted legal limits, depending on context and local regulations.

🟢   Green – Lower alcohol presence detected
🟠 Orange – Elevated alcohol presence detected

🔴 Red – High alcohol presence detected
🔵 Blue – Test could not be completed

EthyloKey is discreet, eco-conscious, and shareable, making it suitable for both personal and everyday social use.

A New Approach to Alcohol Awareness

Traditional breathalyzers have remained largely unchanged for decades: bulky, slow, and poorly adapted to everyday use.

EthyloKey explores a different approach by leveraging insensible perspiration of ethanol – a natural phenomenon where trace amounts of alcohol are released through the skin after consumption. Using a patented sensor system and proprietary algorithms, EthyloKey analyzes ethanol vapors at the skin surface and provides indicative, real-time guidance to help users evaluate their situation before driving.

EthyloKey is designed as a prevention and awareness tool, not as a certified breathalyzer, medical device, or law-enforcement instrument.

How It Works

  • Capture
Ethanol vapors emitted through the skin are captured within a controlled micro-volume.
  • Detection
Specialized gas sensors analyze the concentration of ethanol vapor.
  • Interpretation
Proprietary machine-learning algorithms translate these signals into indicative alcohol-awareness feedback, delivered in seconds.

Laboratory testing against certified breathalyzers has shown consistent correlation patterns, with a short detection delay compared to breath-based methods.

Smart, Connected & Adaptive

EthyloKey connects via Bluetooth to a companion mobile app (iOS & Android), enhancing the experience with:

  • Alcohol awareness history
  • Predictive alcohol curve visualization
  • Safety reminders
  • Multi-user profiles
  • Adaptation of legal reference thresholds based on the user’s country or location

This connected approach allows EthyloKey to remain flexible in a world where alcohol regulations vary globally.

Design & Specifications

  • Dimensions: ~40 mm diameter × 15 mm height (1.6 in × 0.6 in)
  • Weight: ~20–30 g (0.7–1 oz)
  • Materials: Aluminum housing, stainless steel, high-grade polycarbonate
  • Battery: Rechargeable coin-cell battery with wireless charging
  • Connectivity: Bluetooth for iOS & Android apps
  • Available Colors: Space Grey and Rose Gold

Designed for everyday carry, EthyloKey features a miniaturized, pocket-friendly form factor and a sealed, cable-free charging system.

Why It Matters

Alcohol-impaired driving remains one of the most persistent and well-documented road safety issues worldwide. According to European road safety authorities, alcohol is estimated to be involved in roughly one quarter of fatal road accidents across Europe. In the United States, data from national road safety agencies shows that alcohol-impaired driving continues to cause more than 30 deaths every day.

Despite these well-known risks, voluntary use of personal breathalyzers remains extremely limited outside of enforcement or professional settings.

The gap is not awareness — it’s usability.

EthyloKey aims to help close that gap by making alcohol awareness intuitive, accessible, and stigma-free, encouraging people to pause and reflect before getting behind the wheel.

Founder Quote

“Alcohol awareness should be simple, intuitive, and part of everyday life – not a device people avoid,”
says Jaime Alonso, CEO and co-founder of Ethylowheel.
“With EthyloKey, we’re introducing a new approach to prevention – designed for real life, to help people make more informed decisions without friction or judgment.”

Kickstarter Launch

EthyloKey will make its global debut on Kickstarter on January 8, 2026.
Pricing will start at $159, with limited early-bird offers available for early supporters who want to be part of this new generation of alcohol-awareness tools.

Feel the force with digitally enabled sensor technology

To help engineers working in production and assembly lines – or those handling test challenges that require measurements of tensile/compressive forces in confined spaces – HBK has released is U93A, an easy to mount miniature force sensor with the option of digital and analogue interfaces.

The U93A is available as traditional passive mV/V sensor or users can order the force transducer with different hardwired amplifier modules. Models with 0–10V or 4–20 mA are available, as well as a digital module with IO–Link interface.

IO–Link is an established and standardised interface, allowing the integration of HBK force sensors into any PLC system in a cost effective and time saving manner. As with all HBK smart sensors, the IO–Link version comes with many beneficial features such as the sensor health warning, which enables the sensor to compare conditions concerning temperature and force introduced within the limits of the sensor. When limits are exceeded, the sensor sends a warning to prevent failure. Limit switches, filter or digital outputs are included as well, helping to solve typical challenges in the world of production and assembly.

Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS) and various practical cable lengths are also an option, as well ready-mounted plugs for HBK instruments. This allows users to easily expand their testing capabilities – and the configurations offered means the sensor can also be integrated  as a part of a machine or in an assembly line.

The robust sensor is IP68 rated, rust-free, has cables resistant to most operating substances (oils, cleaning agents, etc), and is suitable for use in drag chains, making it ideal for laboratory based tests and tough environments, such vehicle engines, outside measurements or moving machinery parts.

This miniature sensor has been tested in an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) laboratory according to IEC standards, shock and vibration test – and is also compliant with international standards. Despite its specialised, compact construction, it remains extremely resistant to lateral forces and bending moments.

U93A is the successor of the established U93, with many improvements: it operates to HBK accuracy class 0.2, instead of the previous 0.5, providing the user with precision measurements. It has excellent temperature characteristics, low hysteresis and a small linearity error.
