The BURGA Tough Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Cases are many now on offer from the brand for with lots of styles and colours to pick from and in several variants their cases come in three ranges being Tough Elite and SNAP. We have the Tough options here today in the Reapers Touch Snakeskin and Golden Taupe.
The cases have a glossy finish but not slippy and do give you extra grip they are dual layered giving you more protection and have an extra high lip top and bottom on the case which is excellent for protection meaning you can place it face down, the camera array on the rear is also protected which means you device can be placed back down to so if you are one to prefer either side on a table when out you are covered as there is no indicator lights on the rear here unlike some newer phones on the market.
The keys are solid and tactile and work well and all ports are accessible for charging and so on these keys are slightly raised and work well and not only this you can still wirelessly charge your device without the need to remove the case.
The cases are scratch resistant and look really well on the device and their range has something for everyone with more fancy looking designs than your typical coloured case you find for device these have patterns and more which makes them stand out.

Since I first heard of this deposit return scheme (DRS) or Re-Turn I immediately said here we go another Green vanity project and no further than the truth it is even after using it after taken me a week to find a machine working with plenty of them around but Lidl since testing has been the one that works most but Tesco need to sort it. I have been highly critical about this naming it #scamcycle on social media. They have claimed to refund 1.2 million and 5.6 million drinks containers have been collected.
This like other issues has been put down to teething issues despite being the technology being around for years because the Green brigade will come back at me with that but being honest I have seen and heard more bad than good, Yes I have seen one or two Green party members who seem to be the biggest spenders in the west going back with two empty cans and saying the my two cans have went through and all is good and the myth is busted, are you going to look like a complete tit and hang around a machine for 30 cent? I think not so I said I would stock em up.
Thus this is the 1st issue here, taking up space babysitting empty effing bottles keeping them in perfect condition which means more storage when in a normal used state would go in the green bin and happy out!!
So we have a two tier recycle system now whereby one can be returned and the rest go in bins at home or in the store, my local Lidl had both and this is said to reduce waste, From what I have seen there is no reduction in waste or rubbish on the street and people are still throwing their cans in the bin by habit so in short they are paying a green tax. I also have seen staff from recycling companies going in with black bags full of cans so that is another matter. Also note there is still stores charging the deposit whilst the logo is not on it and that will be taken up another time,but according to Re-Turn in time if you still have them you will get your money back.
An exemption notice that should be but is not displayed in all stores rendering this a complete waste of people’s time making them travel more..
OK so I had 123 items and three was refused which in fairness is not bad but one thing I did purposely was leave stones in a can to see if they are weighed and it seems so which can be seen in the video below of what I ran through the machine, they turfed it out saying it needs to be empty with the other two that gave no reason, all my cans where sporting the Re-Turn logo. I ran several sized items just to be sure and it took me almost 30 flaming minutes by the way.

People will argue that you can just return them when you go back to the shop you bought them well this is far from reality when half the local shops have not got a deposit return machine and most of them told me they are not getting one and they are not obliged to have one, so does that mean people will stop going to their local and just buy their soft drinks etc from shops that have these contraptions that take up space use electricity then costs to pay a driver to empty them which needs a van to collect them that are not electric and run on diesel, I think not on this either here is where the Greens will argue saying it creates jobs.
Yes it might create jobs but the whole idea is counterproductive costing retailers money, valuable space and putting more vehicles on the road which the Greens are trying to cut out and passively active on us buying EVs which again is another matter for the car experts which we don’t need to find out why the arse is falling out of EVs with the value dropping big time.
The machines themselves are big and as stated take up retail space which is valuable they cost money to run and staff, the technology seems simple enough whereby you put your can in bottom first on a conveyor belt and it gets scanned and on occasions decides some are not good enough despite being perfectly fine.

Next test will the the reverse vending machine or RVM where things are slightly different and again makes things harder when your empty cans where going in the Green bin at home and you can only spend the voucher in the shop purchased. Another thing that is annoying many online retail stores like Tesco and Dunnes and take-aways etc are exempt from this and for example out having breakfast the other day with my family and the diner would not give me back my money and do you think for a minute we are all going to walk back to the car like plebs with empty cans??
Overall this is just making us take up more space storing and babysitting empty bottles and cans it is costing other people money taking up shop space using more electricity and for the most we all just tossed these into a bin at home and now it entails us finding storage and then the time to stand there and wreck your knees in a shop like an eejit just to get your deposit back and by habit I do not see this coming to fruition across the country by default when you look a the system in its entirety.
I might be wrong but let’s see, I see it as a tax. You can look at this as a rant or review but it is my genuine 2 cents worth. It is a scam. Re active in many cases with exemptions making you travel more to do what you could already do in your green bin #scamcycle
I will be updating this as time goes on and you can decide for yourself and lets see if our bin charges comes down. but alas a few months later they are going up. You have less waste now they want more money. It is a scam.
The packing is nice and come with Apple like peel tabs on the back which is kinda cool if you ask me and then the contents are revealed you get a plug inside and our review unit came with a US plug but it will be available with EU plugs.
Inside the box after we take the peel tabs off we get a three pack of heads which are all different then a braided cable which is proprietary of course and it does have a strong magnet to attach to the brush which is great to see.
The build of the toothbrush itself is solid and in line with other brands but feels more premium there is one button up top which allows you to change modes and power/on off etc but there is a controls on the app which is really neat it must be said you can see the screenshots below and of course in the video review at the end.
So you can either use the toothbrush soft touch buttons or the app to control it and I prefer to use the app as it is what I tend to do with tech and reviewing products but using the touch buttons is no different all works well and simple to use.
For me after using this for two weeks I can see a clear difference with this it is easily the best toothbrush I have tested out over the years with almost an immediate difference, I smoke and drink coke and often have stains and this lifts them almost straight away and faster results over others I have tried some double the price or more, the only thing is I would say be careful if on high intensity and the stem hits your teeth as it is strong and that is testament to how good the vibration is and how well this works, for the money I would easily pick this over an Oral B which is the main contender here in Ireland at multiple price points and some heading up to 800 euro or more this does the job end of story and I will stand over it and it is not often I would put my reputation on the line for a product especially at this price.

On the headset there is an array of controls to get things done, now there is several variants of this model do do check what suits you best as some features might mean more to some than others, this one is missing skip and reverse tracks for instance and a digital display and distance is less on connectivity.
The device will work on both Android and iOS platforms and there is no app to install so it is a basic Bluetooth connection and you are good to go, there is call control music control though limited and you can access your voice assistant.
Speaking of the controls they are well placed and very tactile and easy to navigate after a few minutes use we go through them all in the video review below. You can higher and lower the volume here and play and pause tracks.
The call quality is excellent and the volume is loud and not often I see a headset with the volume being so loud which is good to see, the calls a crisp no issues indoors or outdoors and again for music it is simple and clean so you can listen to tracks on the go and take calls but you are using one ear which is a good thing for hearing your surroundings.
Overall an inexpensive headset to have at your disposal with decent battery life and does a decent job overall with the features on board and as mentioned there is several variants available which is a good thing for those who are feature dependent.

With another new collaboration from Skullcandy we have the latest Skullcandy X TMNT push active earbuds which comes in a Green themed case as was before and slightly larger than others only this time this one looks better and stands out which looks cool. It has a nice finish and feel to the case and non slippy which is helpful due to its size but still this case gives you up to 44 hours of battery life and you have got rapid charge built in via USB – C
We have reviewed these before with the first Push Active Skull-IQ and with the Burton X and nothing has changed really only this time you get the TMNT branding on board here and for those who remember them as kids will certainly want to check these out.
These also fit really well too and have over ear hooks that goes around the ear and will not fall out of your ears,even for the most active folk and can be worn jogging or in the gym, there is one button on each side for controls but they have a new trick up their sleeve and buttons do not have to be used at all and you can just say “Hey Skullcandy” to do what you need them to do, more on this in the video below you need to see this in action it has been one of my favourite features on earbuds and yet not seen too much in the detail you get here and what you can get done with no hands required.
There is no ANC but this is fine with the really secure fit you will not hear much going on outside anyway unless outdoors in a noisy environment, with my ususal test loop they performed really well, highs lows and mids are fine and a good balance overall and then you have the app to play around with too with the EQ settings and also edit the button controls too which is excellent.The app has now more features this time around too which is a nice addition and good to see them improving as time goes on.

Overall these are something we have seen before more than once but what is great with these and Skullcandy is their collabs they are getting giving your headphones earbuds and more a twist that not many will have and if you are a teenage mutant ninja turtle fan why not treat yourself.
The Skullcandy GROM Wireless headphones for kids are a new range of headphones that also come in a wired version for kids that want the best in audio and simplicity to use with no fuss and these super lightweight headphones do all this and keep it simple. They are very comfortable to wear too by the way and no clamping effect like some headphones suffer with.
The presentation is as we expect from Skullcandy and that is one that will stand out and kept simple too and the same for inside the box with some leaflets cables and we also get some stickers now which is nice and destined for my new laptop.
The headphones could not be easier to use with all the controls on one side and you can tap the cup to make some commands which is super simple and means no buttons for kids to be fooling around with, I like this idea and we have seen gesture controlled headphones before but this idea work just as well. You also have a port to share your audio with someone else too which is neat.
All the controls are on one side of which allows you to pair up, use your voice assistant skip and reverse tracks and volume control you can also control your calls here too. With the volume wheel you can override the volume and you need to give a slightly more hard push to move it along and get to the max volume which is decent and of course safe protecting kids ears.
There is no app here again kept simple and they just connect via Bluetooth and job done if you run out of juice you can still use the traditional route of the 3.5mm cable provided in the box.
When it comes to sound well they are for kids and I have to take into consideration my thoughts and the thoughts of others and being honest it is perfectly fine and with the Skullcandy signature sound kids will not be disappointed and the music is crisp and clear with no distortion or lag latency noted during my testing, highs lows and mids all fine too and any genre of music will sound great and for all the family and relations kids that tested them where happy.

The AENO RC2S Robot Vacuum Cleaner is an affordable piece of kit your home should have especially if you hate doing the cleaning which is why most of my place is done in flooring but not only that the hoovering is a chore most do not like to do but has to be done and if you have a pet even more so on a regular basis, The vacuum cleaner works effectively with all types of surfaces: carpets, laminate, parquet, tiles and other surfaces that might be useful for the user. This Vacuum cleaner not only maps you the ares required to be cleaned but you a hoover and wash with the same product meaning less clutter and cables and it has a home base with its own charge station and returns home when low on power and not only that it comes with an app so you are in full control of what does on which is handy.
It is on the large size however this is average if you have seen any similar products out there or some of the ones we previously check out on site you would be best to find a good permanent spot for it in my opinion and then you will not encounter any problems.
The set up can take a few minutes and there is several buttons up on top of the unit and it is pretty simple to use once you get to grips with how it all works via the app or unit itself.
There are two removable trays on the cleaner one for dirt and one for washing which simply swaps out making it easy giving you more room than ones that come with both built in. On the underside you will see the wheels and brushes and on the outer ring there is the bumper loaded with sensors allowing you to get the harder spots done like under tables and chairs etc.
The product is not that hard to get to know via the app you can of course just hit the start/power button on the unit itself and let it do what you have set up on the app which I think is the easy option, you can abort a cleaning return it for charge and more and when the battery runs low it auto returns to base.
I found it to work well with objects and no issues to report there was no hassle picking up any dirt or grime and then you could run the mop over it after use and the brushes keep moving with it, the trays are simple to remove and you can get a bottom floor complete in your house if say the sitting room runs into the kitchen for example and it handles objects in the way well not that mine where large anyway but most houses are the same now.

The App is both available on Android and iOS and tested on both and there seems to be no difference between both in my testing the app is simple to use and works well and keeps track of all the details and lets you know when something needs adjusting or changing you can also reset items in the wear part of the app should you need to swap brushes or fabric mop etc.

Previously reviewed on techbuzz the Creative Pebble X which for me are worth every cent their big brother the Creative Pebble Plus outdo those which i did not think would be possible however the Plus sign here unlike phone is worth the name on the end and these pack even more of a punch and notable if ran side by side but the configuration is different and the there is some difference between the Pebble X.
This time around we get a subwoofer which is super solid and has some decent weight to it meaning it will not wobble around even when maxed out on volume and they do get seriously loud too. The woofer has no lighting at all however the speakers retain the RGB lighting that is customizable to your own requirements
The design of the speakers is the same but lacks the radiators on the side, these have moved onto the box if you will giving you a centre stage sound but mighty, the controls and ports remain the same as the Pebble X and set up is the same again and fairly simple, there has been some updates to the app since my testing and you most likely will need to update when you pick them up, this will prompt you to remove the cable and when setting up again holding down the RGB button and plugging in the USB-C cable at the same time and things go back to normal..
Overall here if you have the extra few quid to spend I would spend it on these but if not the Pebble X is more than good enough, the sound on these is louder more punchy excellent bass and you do see me get a little excited in the full video review below. If you want great sound for more than a reasonable price for your Laptop/PC or Phone this is where it is at and easy to recommend.
