Aukey is brand that delivers nice technology at an affordable price and we have been using their products for some time here on techbuzz we also have more in for review but today we are looking at the LS02 smartwatch/fitness tracker. With an abundance of choice on the market today there is no shortage to pick from no matter how much you have to spend. Fitbit and other brands such as Xiaomi have a good grip on the market today however this one gives them a run for their money and having test this for nearly a month it offers a bit more for your money coming in at around 38 euro, yes that is right…

It is not a slim skimpy band but it looks like a typical smartwatch albeit clean it it made out of polycarbonate looks nice and fits really well with a decent size screen and offering a decent 1.4 inch 320 x 320 screen with IP68 waterproofing. there is 12 fitness modes and an accompanying app that is really easy to use and sports up to 20 days battery life, this however depends on what information you have tied into the app I have found with all my apps running you get 10 days but if you just require the bare minimum you will get the 20 days.

For me I tried the full app list on my device and it is great for notifications they are a basic text on the device and you cant take calls as there is no speaker but for the price you cant really give out about that, you can also control your music on the watch too which is handy and you can get all your social media notifications on the device too and all of this keeps you away from your phone to an extent, For the fitness folks there is plenty here to keep them happy as you can see down below with all these workouts and it also includes your heart rate.

There is also a find my phone option on the watch too which is handy, What makes this watch different it it does not have an app store nor can you add faces to it, it does come with some settings on the device which is plenty to get you going if you are new to such which many seem to be taking up now with the pandemic and this shows you can pick up a decent wearable for a fraction of the cost of what is out there today on the market. Since this covid lark began things also started changing for many workers in Ireland and that is working from home, this was already happening though over the last two years and the pandemic only accelerated it. For me it has been the same, gradually over the last three years I left a company I worked for as a contractor for 18 years and found a niche in the industry

Lets be up front most of our built in webcams are rubbish and you will see why here I have several laptops and they are all brutal with the built in webcam and you will see the difference by using an external webcam and not only that you are not so restricted either as it can be moved anywhere within the cables confines and the picture and audio is also better too, there is people out there who worry about what they look like on the likes of zoom and so on and need to stop this. Tech Review – Aukey 12-in-1 USB-C hub #Tech #Aukey

Need to add some peripherals to your laptop or PC well the Aukey 12-in-1 USB-C hub might just be the thing you need. We have covered several similar offerings before and in short these offer you more flexibility as laptops these days often come with the bare minimum ports especially if you use Apple Macs etc and this of course works with them and much more cost effective, these hubs allow you be more productive and connect multiple things at one go like several flash drives which is great for those on the go transferring data and so on and much more, you also have and SD card reader, sd card slot HDMI ports, USB-C ports and more however these is no micro USB port present on this hub which is a sign of the times and perhaps maybe one should have been present but all is fine regardless.

One thing that would have made this hub more sweet would have been on board storage too but it is a minor caveat as many available out there now do offer storage at this price point but if you just need a hub to connect and transfer data this is certainly one to look at, This hub though is great for someone with multiple products on the go like me as you can charge multiple devices on the go at the same time which is a gift. If you are looking for a simple beside lamp that has some RGB this is one to check that is affordable and easy to use with not set up or app needed to control it, small light and robust it is ideal for a bedside locked or even a shelf in you kitchen or bedroom and it just blends in well and sets the right move with the colour tuning.

Review – The @AUKEYofficial EP-N5 true wireless earbuds. #Tech #Aukey #TWS

Recently we checked out the T21 true wireless from Aukey that delivered on price and features and the new EP-N5 just bring more to the table with ANC and cost around 60 euro and sound great too. Just like smartphones the days of buying phones costing over a grand are done and spending apple prices on earbuds is now following suit very quickly and it is a win for the consumer overall.

OK we are getting the typical all black approach here and they are boring looking just like may true wireless out there today but if they deliver on sound well it is something I can live with and anyone else on a budget too,they have a good seal out of the box touch controls, USB-C charging,dual mics, 10 mm drivers and you get up to 7 hours of battery life per charge and 35 with the case , using ANC though will reduce this by almost half  but it is the best way to use them.

The Aukey DR01 dashcam is an affordable dashcam that is simple to use and set up which you can see in the unboxing experince below. It has a simple UI and is not touch based but you use buttons instead to control the features however it has most features you expect to find at this price point giving you protection on your journey.

Review – The Aukey Desklamp with touch controls. #Aukey #Tech #Home #Office

I have several desk lamps in the house and two have been used for tech and often seen in the background in some of my reviews and they would be on my review table for several reasons. Light being one and other functions too be it wireless charging or bluetooth speaker and of course the light factor as to what it can offer..

The said lights above have been more or less a fixed affair with not much movement but had dimming or brightness controls but the actual lights did have some ability to move around offering a wider use case range and for me that is important.

This light has a touch panel on the base which is solid supported by four rubber stoppers underneath which keep it fixed in place. You have a timer,power switch a mode switch and then a night switch which allows you to see in the dark to turn on the light by emitting an orange dot on the panel.

The lamp can twist,turn from the base and also extends at an angle then the main LED section can rotate either way which is the additional bonus here for me to give you better control for lighting which for me is important and will also be of benefit to those who would use one to give them better light set ups for their personal use case. Also this lamp has a USB port on the rear which allows you to attach another item to it which saves on plugs and I have done that with mine by attaching my RGB desklamp to it as it sits with it in my set up at home. This lamp again is clean and effective with a simple to use control panel and ideal for any office or home and cheap.
