#Periscope, to share and watch live video broadcast from #Twitter by @Tiwaash #Social

Today, Twitter introduced the world with a unique and the best way to share and watch live video broadcasts from your mobile phone by unveiling Periscope, currently available only to iOS.

Twitter has been involved in this process for an year to give us a brand new way of looking things we want to right now and their blog reads “While there are many ways to discover events and places, we realized there is no better way to experience a place right now than through live video. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but live video can take you someplace and show you around.”

For Broadcasters

Periscope lets you share an experience with others. Press a button, and instantly notify your followers that you’re live. Periscope offers an audience and the power of a shared experience. Most mobile broadcasting tools feel far from live. Broadcasters on Periscope are directly connected to their audience, able to feel their presence and interact.

For Viewers

Periscope gives a new set of eyes and ears. Travel the world and step into someone else’s shoes. See what they see, hear what they hear, and hopefully feel what they feel. Watching a broadcast isn’t a passive experience like television. On Periscope, viewers influence the broadcaster by sending messages, and expressing their love by tapping the screen to send hearts.

Twitter will continue building Periscope as a separate product, with a small team based in San Francisco. Twitter brings you closer to people, places, interests, and events in an experience that’s immediate, unfettered, and conversational. We think Periscope can help further that mission by giving people a way to share and experience the world around them, both near and far read the blog.

Download Periscope for iOS right now from here and start sharing your live broadcast with yourfollowers. Hope this is soon made available to other platforms too.

HERE makes it to the AppStore by @Tiwaash #iOS #HERE #Navigation

HERE has been working tirelessly to offer it’s free offline navigation service to lots of people. In this quest to ease people’s lives, today HERE has take a giant leap forward by rolling out HERE for iOS. It was expected that iOS version of HERE was around the corner ever since the Android version was launched. iOS version of HERE combines saved maps with online information — such as live traffic, scheduled or real-time public transit info as well as photos and reviews for the places shown on the map. You can save maps to your phone so that the whole HERE app can be put into ‘offline mode’ and it won’t use any data. Even if your iPhone is in flight mode, you can still see where you are, search for places and navigate there on foot, by public transport or by car. The all-inclusive route planner on HERE for iOS allows you to compare walking, transit and driving directions including an estimate of how long each will take you – and all of this can be done in ‘offline mode’ too. The offline car navigation on HERE for iOS provides full turn-by-turn voice guidance with spoken street names. HERE for iOS is a completely different app from the one previously available on the App Store – because the old version was based on HTML5, it had limited features and it wasn’t optimized for iOS. This time we’re introducing an experience built for iOS from the ground up with the features and the polished feel that people rightly expect from their favourite map app.

Miss Playing Space Squids on your old Nokia?? Not any more with Space Squids for #WindowsPhone #Game #App by @Tiwaash

It’s been pretty long since I last played the highly addictive Space Squids on Nokia 3310 but thanks to Bolopix we have the legendary game running on WindowsPhone.

It has the same visuals and style but different controls making good use of the full screen available for touch devices. Reminds me of those old days when I used to be busy with the monochrome display and those tic- tic sounding keypad.

To give the game a modern look, now you have option to buy the spaceship from among various types available. You can choose from the difficulty modes available. The controls are on screen with a joystick and attack buttons.

I’m having a good time, you should check this lovely nostalgic game to take yourself back to this days of Nokia gaming. Download this game from here.

I hope you all would enjoy this simple and awesome game cherishing the memories this game gives way back around 2000.
