First look at the Heyup Boxe projector

With lots of tech in house to get through the next item up on the review table is the Heyup Boxe projector in the funky colour you see in the header image and it is a pretty cool shape too it is compact, portable and packed with I/Os so connectivity is not an issue here and we even have a headphone jack. Today we take a quick tour of the device and show you around it and in the interim we will be checking in out and have a full real hands on review with a video on how it works and how it looks, those stock image reviews offer no context at all and we do not do those here as they often give misleading examples of what to expect. First Look – ASUS ROG Phone 5s Unboxing and Walkthrough

This is one is for the gamers but not only just gamers with the specs on offer here and what the company claims it offers pretty much more than your average smartphone and with a triple camera aray, stereo speakers. The device is not light but it is certainly robust and feels good in the hand and it is a case that you know you have a phone in your hand or pocket for that matter.

The ROG Phone 5 series is powered to win by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G Mobile Platform featuring advanced 5G communications and premium Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming features. The upgraded GameCool 5 cooling system along with the all-new performance manager in Armoury Crate ensure maximum performance is available for any gaming scenario.

For ultra-smooth and ultra-responsive gaming visuals, the ROG Phone 5 series is equipped with a Samsung-built 144 Hz / 1 ms AMOLED HDR10+ certified display with an industry-leading 300 Hz touch sampling rate and ultra-low 24.3 ms touch latency.

First Look – realme GT 2 unboxing and walkthrough

Several phone are in for review to start the year and we are starting with the realme GT2, there is a pro version too and this one we have is in Paper Green there is two other colours available which is Paper White and Steel Black and also come in 8/128 and 12/256 storage options starting at 549.00.

The realme comes with UI 3.0 and  features a world first 120Hz E4 2K AMOLED LTP O2.0 Display 2K Snapdragon 888 5G Processor and Stainless Steel Vapor Cooling Plus, and GT Mode 3.0. It has a super cool finish on the rear and feels good to hold, it is a bio based polymer smartphone in collaboration with Naoto Fukasawa, in the box we get a case thrown in for good measure so you are covered out of the box and no need to shop for a case.

The camera set up is also quite tasty looking and I look forward to checking out the capabilities here we have 150 degree first ultrawide lens 50MP / 40X ultra macro lens and a 50 MP main camera with OIS so this will be interesting, there is alot going on here and nice stats thrown at us so let’s see how real life usage goes.

First Look – HiFiMan Deva Pro Headphones and TWS 800 earbuds

It has been a while since we had tech in from HIFIMAN but the good guys there have sent us over two new products to check out and this is great as one is for the headphone fans and one for earbud fans and if you are a fan of both like me well then you are in the right place for either product. HIFIMAN just to recap is a world leader in quality audio products premier headphones and portable music players that utilize planar magnetic drivers and so on so matter what you choose here audiophiles will be happy.

The Deva Pro Headphones

These are open back planar magnetic headphones which look super premium and on a quick first test comfortable and light you can switch between a bluetooth with their module or use the wired 3.5mm TRS option and this is a first for me to see personally with a bluetooth module included in the pack which is extra cool..

Next up is their latest earbuds which are also pretty cool and stand out like the Deva Pro headphones, with a pillow type case and metal casing these are something different and offer everything you need out of the box for what we hope is an excellent audio experience. You get a built in amp which is also new to me having reviewed over 200 pairs of earbuds IPX4 dust resistance, BT 5.0 up to 31.5 hours use, topology diaphragm, audiophile tuning and much more and I cant wait to see how these perform over the coming weeks..

First look – iStorage datAshur SD the world’s first and only encrypted USB flash drive with removable iStorage microSD Card

First look – SHURE Aonic 40 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones

First look at the Jabra Elite 4 Active

It has been a busy few weeks for Jabra with all their new products hitting the market and now their latest Elite 4 Active has just landed and it is now their 4th new pair in their portfolio which now gives something for everyone to pick from at multiple price tiers which is great.
